I had sears home service come out to diagnose a ride on tractor with leaking oil. The repairman didn't even look at the engine and said he had an idea what the problem was. He ordered parts and I paid him for the majority of the bill with the rest on completion. After months of reschedule and sears canceling an appointment, he came on the 4/4 to install the parts.. However, once he started to unscrew the motor I noticed more oil leaking on my driveway (big mess that he didn't even try to clean up) and let him know. He looked where the oil was coming from and quickly changed course and said he misdiagnosed the issue and he can't fix the problem. That I either had to buy a new tractor or replace the engine... I asked him to at least screw the engine back on and he said "I would rather not"... So, for the past 2+ weeks now, I have spoken to 7 people in Sears Customer Care dept trying to return parts and get my money back for what is now the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I have been told weekly that someone will call me back with an answer to my solution within 24-48 hours. I never received one phone call and had to keep calling them only to now be told that they will not reimburse me for the diagnostic or labor.. Now, no labor was done on it and diagnostic was not even close to being right but it is there policy to not refund them regardless of the situation. I asked if making consumers happy was also their policy and the guy actually said No... no joke!! They have now lost my business forever and I am purchasing a new lawn tractor from another company... I told the Manager this and he could care less... Big loss for them there! Shows how making a customer happy can go a long way.. If you do take the time to read these reviews, please do yourself a very big favor and don't ever use Sears!!! Trust me, you will be writing a review similar shortly after...

I am rating it a 1 star only because I cannot rate it a '0' stars. Sear's products and customer service has really tanked over these last 5 years. Let's start with the appliance and move on to Sears customer 'dis-service'. This is my 4th Sears appliance in 5 years. The last 2 have arrived faulty, so they're batting a 50% in terms of product quality. This last appliance, a Kenmore refrigerator, has sent me off the edge. Within one hour of arrival, the outsides of the refrigerator had heated up so high that the temperature in the kitchen went up and I could barely touch it. I called Sears customer 'dis-service' and spent 30 minutes on the phone with a representative who first offered to send someone out 6 days later to 'take a look' at the refrigerator, and when I wouldn't accept that and asked her what I should do with my food that was spoiling since I didn't have another fridge, she asked if I had purchased a warranty!! I couldn't believe she asked that! I asked for a manager, she refused to put me in contact with one and after 30 minutes and 3 transfers, my phone's reception deteriorated and they hung up on me. I called back. This time the representative was treated to my frustration and finally asked if I wanted Sears to replace the fridge. Imagine that novel idea!! I would actually expect Sears to provide me with an appliance that worked! She offered me a choice of delivery times and I picked one that would at least allow me a half day of work. When I hadn't heard from the delivery person after the time frame passed, I called back, waited on hold for 30 minutes only be told they'd changed the delivery time (without notifying me) and as a result I've lost a whole day of work, and I work on a wage basis. At this point, I wouldn't buy a pair of shorts from Sears! This is the last purchase I will make with Sears and I'd advise the rest of you not to buy either. It's no surprise that they've had to close down stores. It is not the same corporation that it used to be and people are now keenly aware of it. My advice to Sears; stop outsourcing your customer service, take responsibility and stop trying to saddle customers with defective items and make every effort to compensate customers for the inconvenience. We can all go elsewhere. There is a lot of competition out there and they are offering more than the little Sears currently offers.

I've been trying to get a technician out since June 5th for my grandmother'swasher and dryer. They rescheduled 3 times and never contacted me. Never showed or called a few times after that. The guy calls on one appt and says we better call for another guy because he cant come to look at it without another person. Finally the guy shows, only one, and looks at only the washer. Orders parts and today comes to fix it. Leaves without making sure it works properly and when we try it it's still broken.

With the exception of our stove, the majority of our household appliances were purchased from Sears and covered by their service agreements. Just recently our garage door opener failed. It's also covered by a service agreement. 4 days ago I called Sears Home Service and set up an appointment to have it fixed. I was told that a technician would come out today between 8 AM and 5 PM. I know that's a huge window but that's what I was told, it's Saturday, and so I just went with it. I gave Sears Home Service my cell phone number to call when they were in the area because I had some other things away from home that I needed to do and I wanted to be sure I was home by the time they arrived. Nobody from Sears Home Service ever called to say when they would show up, and nobody ever came. I called Sears Home Service in an attempt at a resolution, but after being transferred and put on hold for about 45 minutes "Benjamin" in the Philippines told me all he could do was write an email, send it, and "somebody" would respond to the email within 24 to 48 hours. I said a few other choice words that I won't mention in this post. At the beginning of my call a computer voice notified me that the call may be recorded for training purposes. For that I'm truly grateful, but confident it won't help Sears Home Service learn how better to treat its customers. So, after a day of waiting with a broken garage door opener, all I have is elevated blood pressure and an empty bourbon glass. Oh yeah... I still have a broken garage door opener. Sears used to be synonymous with "made in America" and "good customer service." Now, not so much. Our strategy going forward will be to allow our service agreements to expire, and when our appliances die we'll purchase them someplace besides Sears. Sears and Sears Home Services have successfully lost two previously loyal customers. Good job Sears.

I can't even rate Sears service because there was no service. 1 star is 1 too many! Spoke to 11 different people about a kit i did not receive with my dishwasher - the most ridiculous 'pass the buck', was transferred 11x and then received a busy signal and the final straw calling the store and voice message instructs to leave a message - its no wonder you are going out of business - i don't feel sorry for Sears they brought their demise on themselves.

At present, I have be on hold for well over 20 minutes. My son was hired with known mental health disabilities, yet when there was a problem, rather than try to work it out with him, they just never called him into work. Then we discover that while they withheld taxes one year, they didn't do it for this year. Sear's needs to get its' act together, or it will have a lawsuit on its' hand for the mistreatment of disable individuals.

On April 29,2020 I went to Sears and ordered a upright freezer. I was told it was IN STOCK and I would receive it on June 3,2020. This was a replacement for a 32 year old freezer that could no longer be repaired. I was lucky enough to have friends that stored my food in their freezers. As of today, 9-16-2020, I still have not received my freezer. I have been given 13 different delivery dates. Now they say it will be delivered on OCT 21.2020. I have spoken to delivery dept, complaint dept, anyone I can. No one can give me an answer. I've been told plants closed, couldn't get parts to make freezers, refrigeration was being changed, deliveries were being delayed, every excuse in the book. I have spoken to the store that I ordered from and they say they can't do a thing to help me. I had ordered a 180lbs of pig meat that I picked up the first week of July thinking my freezer would arrive by then. NOPE!!! I stored it at a friends house, last week their freezer broke and I lost ALL my meat, $300.00 worth!!!! I know things have changed in the world today, but this service is ALLLL FULLLL. I should be compensated in some way for the delay and lost of my food. My father worked for Sears for 15 years and they used to have good service, NO MORE. I bought an expensive LG washer and electric dryer online from Sears. Both units were delivered on Halloween, Oct. 31, 2018. Two days later, Sears ran a sale with $501.03 off each unit, or a total of $1002.06 plus sales tax. I phoned Customer Service to ask for a refund. Sears price match policy is below.

"Price Protection Policy
Buy with confidence from Sears. If an item you have purchased from Sears goes on sale for a lower price within 30 days of your purchase, Sears will refund the difference. All Price Match Rules and exclusions apply including no Price Protection adjustments between Thanksgiving Day and the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. My purchases were not within the exclusion period but Sears has refused to honor its own Price Protection Policy.

This is why I will NEVER SHOP AT SEARS AGAIN!!!

The absolute worst customer service ever! Ordered 4 new appliances and delivery date was today. No one has showed or called and when I call they tell me there was a mistake and delivery won t be until NEXT Saturday! We removed all 4 of our appliances late last night in preparation for today s delivery. Now we have no appliances for a week with 4 children. Total A**HOLES!

They shipped the wrong one and after many hours on the phone, it finally got straightened out by cancelling my order and reordering. Now they are billing me for both of them and my Sears account states that I owe over $3500. I have disputed and made calls and they just won't take the second refrigerator off my account. I had an appointment on 05/04/2018 to have my dryer repaired. The technician stated I needed a part. The technician came back on 05/14/2018 and stated he had the wrong part. He rescheduled for 05/18/2018, but did not come because the part had not come in. He rescheduled for 05/24/2018 and i canceled. I rescheduled for 06/08/2018. When I have an appointment with sears I have to be home from 8:00 am- 5:00pm because they do not schedule appointments. Today I stayed home. I received an email at 4:01pm stating I needed to call sears and reschedule my appointment. I called and was told the technician called in sick today. I do not understand why I was not told this earlier. I had to stay home all day waiting. I ask for a refund of the 380.10 that I paid on May 4th because they have not fixed my dryer and it has been over a month. They would not refund my money. They said they would send it to billing dispute and would notify me in 24-48 hours. I called my credit card to dispute the charges. they charged me for a service that has not been done. I do not want them to fix the dryer. I want my money back! I have always used Sears in the past, but I will never use them again. It is not the same dependable service you could depend on years ago. I would not recommend anyone use them, and DO NOT buy the warranty they are trying to push on people!!

Horrible customer service with Sears and with the technician that was sent to fix my stove. The purpose of home appliance insurance is to protect customers from costly unexpected problems with appliances. However, Sears has failed to keep its promise to fix my stove. Not only did sears send an incompetent technician that did more damage to my stove and now neither sears nor the company that Sears sent out o fix my appliance will cover the problem because it is not natural wear and tear. Although the technician admitted to being at fault both companies washed their hands and left me to deal with a bigger problem; gas leak and a damaged electric cord. I am writing this review in the hopes that these companies learn to honor their promise to repair appliances and take responsibility for their mistake. In addition, the public needs to be aware of the fraudulent activity that goes on with these million dollar companies. I am giving it a star because I could not post without.

I would not advise anyone to ever buy from Sears. They have outsourced their home repair to a company that is located in the Philippines. I called to set up an appointment on the Feb 3rd and was told that I could not get an appointment until the Feb 26th. On the 26th, I waited until 7:00 pm CST and called to see where the technician was. I was then informed that the technician was behind and could not make it and I would be rescheduled for 8 March. After trying to call the Sears Corporate Office, I was informed that there is nothing they can do and I have to deal with the company they outsourced the repair to. We now have to go without a washer for over a month and there is no guarantee that the technician will show up on 8 March. No wonder Sears is closing their doors. The service tech was great and gave me come back date only to be taken off by the folks at their desks. When I called to set up original appointment, I told them it was the refrigerator and that it needed a water intake valve as per my local repairman. She asked what vacuum I had...And how to spell water. Needless to say they did not have the part for my refrig. Worst company ever!!! I bought a craftsman riding lawn mower in 2016 with a 5 year warranty. Tha steering went out and the so called technician can't seem to fix the problem after 3 attempts. Ive had my last 3 appointments no show after taking off work all 3 days because they give you an appointment time of 8am to 5pm. After calling customer service I find out the technician is refusing to come out. Sears doesn't want to honor the 5 year warranty. Evert time I call they give me the run arround by transferring me to different departments. This has become a HUGe Headache!! No one is giving me any answers as to why they will not come out and fix my mower. Now Sears want to cancel my warranty. This is the WORST customer service EVER! ALL I need is my mower fixed!

On June 20, 2018, I bought a Kenmore Model 795-72595-710 refrigerator from Sears, in the Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs. That store has since gone out of business. In August of 2019, the refrigerator quit cooling, it was 14 months old. I contacted Sears, and I didn t buy the extended warranty from them because I knew Sears was going out of business and the warranty would not be honored.

I did a lot of research, and determined on my own that the compressor was not working. I contacted Sears Appliance Repair, and they told me that the circulating fan was bad. I ordered one and replaced it, still didn t work. I contacted Sears again and they told me the thermostat was bad. I replaced it, no difference. Now, mind you, each contact with Sears was like trying to draw blood out of a turnip. I was continually re-routed to a different person or department, and would have to start over again. They insisted I needed to have a technician come out and diagnose the problem for $99, non-refundable. When I finally ran out of options, I bit the bullet and had a service scheduled for October 31st. I told Sears we would not be home until after 4. The tech showed up at 9, surprise, nobody was home. I rescheduled for November 5th, after 4. He showed up promptly at 8:30, and happened to catch my wife before she left. He diagnosed it as a bad compressor. ANOTHER SURPRISE!

Then came the good news, this fridge has a one year warranty on all parts. There are hundreds of posts online about problems with Kenmore Compressors, so instead of Kenmore fixing the problem they dropped their 10-year warranty on the compressor. With this in mind, I now have a 14-month-old refrigerator that doesn t work that I bought for $1600 from Sears. It seems that Kenmore should stand behind their products, they should not depend on extended warranties to cover their known quality problems.

I normally don t take the time to write reviews of this nature, but Sears costumer care has proven to be one of the most incompetent AND rude support services I ve had the displeasure of interacting with.

Premise is simple enough:
I needed to get a copy of a series of oil changes done to my vehicle at a K-Mart location which has since closed down.

These copies are important, as they are vital to a specific ongoing litigation I am part of against VW, and the more records I have, the better my case is.

K-Mart is owned by Sears, and as such, are required by law to retain those records for at least 7 years.

I called Sears costumer service, spent an hour on the phone with them being bounced around until I finally landed on the auto-center. The rep told me to go to a Sears location and get a copy of the records there, as they had access to the records on their end but couldn t email it to me.

I drive to said Sears location. Employee tells me they don t have access to any of the old K-Mart records and that I need to either call the auto-center or corporate to get my hands on them. So, after wasting time, I call the auto-center once again, explain my situation. I then ask them if it s possible to email the records to me as I can t get a copy at the physical store location.

They divert to telling me I must send an email to the auto department in order to get the oil change copies, or I can just call corporate.

Okay.

So I email the designated person, only to tell me that they don t have access to any of the old K-Mart info, despite being told previously they did.

So I call Corporate.
the moment a rep answered the phone and I began to explain my situation, I was yelled at by the representative, saying CORPORATE DOES NOT SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS, SIR.
And she hung up on my face.

I have never dealt with such incompetence in my life.

So not only do they not, have records they are obligated to have, but are rude, ignorant, and incompetent.

I can even understand that not all reps have all the answers and they re just cogs in a big corporate machine. I m fine with people not having all the answers.
I m NOT okay with incompetence and rudeness.

This is part of the reason your company is failing.

Worst customer service EVER! I had a technician come out to fix an ice maker. It was making ice but not dispensing. He quoted me $400!! Ouch. He then told me it would be 1/2 price if I signed up for the warranty. If I waited one month ($70) I could cancel. So yes, I'd rather pay $270 than $400. I called today to cancel and they say I need to pay the balance of $160 for the initial repair! That means I'd pay $430 since I paid for a month of a warranty I don't want or need. I called two different numbers and was told to write a letter to Sears Holding Corporation. No operator or manager can waive this fee. I have to pay the 12 months which means I will have paid $1270 for this repair. They said I could dispute the fee and I would be sent to collections! I have an excellent credit rating and I'm not about to let Sears ruin it but buyer beware!!!! This is a company I always thought was solid. Not anymore. I see why they are going down.

I went into a Sear Auto Center at 3811 East Colonial Dr. Orlando Florida 32803 shop with a minor problem that should have taken 30 minutes to repair and they had all four wheels off the car with the hood open. An hour and a half later Sears gives me a $1800 estimate to repair all the so called broken and worn out parts on my car. I told them to put the wheels back on my car and I took it to a little repair shop across the street and they told me there was really nothing wrong with the car except the rear brakes were worn a bit on the backside which was normal.

I know that some of the so called all worn out parts Sears told me about had been replace just last spring because I put them on the car myself. Now I am not an auto mechanic but I have worked on cars when I was younger but I have been a student of economics, a pilot flight instructor, air taxi pilot, aerial photographer and today an aircraft mechanic. I have worked on light aircraft to heavy jet transports for over 20 years so I have been around the block a few times with people and I know what yesterdays fish smells like.

It is as if your time is Sears Holdings time and apparently your money is too. The thing that makes you really mad is if they are running this scam on me they are running this scam on the elderly every day. From my view Sears Auto Center is not providing any service to the community.

Sears puts out false advertisements. I received an e-mail for a 20% off coupon for yearly maintenance on our snowblower. A very nice, very good service tech came out, and none of this is his fault. It is totally the fault of the company's inaccurate advertising. Two customer service people and a manager could not fix this for me. I worked in retail, so I know how to look for the "hooks" that make a coupon invalid. The offer was for a $139.00 maintenance visit. But the offer states that you will only pay $111.20 with the coupon, and oil change (WITH the oil) is included. But then Sears claims that the $139.00 is "already a promotional amount". But NOWHERE in the e-mail does it state that it is already a promotion, which would make the coupon invalid, because you cannot use a promotional coupon with a deal that is already a promotion. It states that the $139.00 is a REGULAR labor price. I will quote the e-mail here, and please tell me where it states that it is a promotional price --

"Regular maintenance price $139.00, $111.20 with coupon. All parts, labor for repairs (if needed) and tax are extra."

Is it possible to give 0 stars? Sears sent a tech to verify that our hot water heater was dead, which is fine. But the rep who called to arrange the replacement (1) told us we would have to wait a week for delivery (when the product is in stock 10 miles away), (2) wouldn't work with us when told that was unacceptable, and (3) hung up on us when we asked for her supervisor.

-Rescheduled a fridge and sep. ice cube maker over and over again - 5 times
-Didn't listen when I said it was a business and we're open during certain times of the day (sometimes they tried to schedule a late deliver just a minute after I said "It's a business we close at 5!"
-They didn't call when they needed rescheduled so I waited until I had to call
-Only a few sounded like they could really understand me (English speaking)
-One of the two guys who installed scared me to death and didn't want to do his job (attitude, even after I asked if he wanted something to drink, tried to be hospitable).
-No one knew what was going on

AND AFTER ALL OF THAT, it turns out they can't do the one thing they were rescheduling (install an ice cube machine, which was part of the original purchase and the reason for all the reschedules). You would think someone down the line would say, "oh, by the way, we don't provide that service." It came to my attention by the 5th reschedule. I will be calling the CEO office to complain.

Oh, and I still don't have an answer because different managers are telling me different things.

Sears front line employees have consistently been professional and truly customer oriented. Their valiant efforts seem to be constantly undermined by corporate wide policies. The service writer at my local Sears went out of her way to have Michelin honor their tire tread warranty. Her work was undermined by the way corporate Sears deals with customers. I priced replacement tires online. I could not get the store price because that would not come up. The store price turned out to be $20 a tire more than the online price. They could not price match-not unusual. But they could not honor the Michelin warranty discount along with their posted 7% military discount. In addition, Sears charges higher prices for The store manager saw the injustice but was unable to combine what Michelin owed due to product failure and what should have been a Sears corporate discount. She did what she could. The bottom line is that Mr. Lambert insists on policies that are directly opposed to what made Sears great originally AND what the customer focused experience the vast majority of his front line employees desire to provide.

The customer service (I use those words loosely) from Sears Holdings is absolutely ridiculous. For a dying company, they do little to nothing to retain the few remaining customers they still have. An offer was tagged in store for 100% back in Shop Your Way points on Smart Sense trash bags, freezer bags, aluminum foil, detergent, as well as a couple additional products. I purchased two items, both freezer bags, for a total of $7.98. The points did not show on the receipt and I asked the cashier. She said the Shop Your Way offers never worked right and I could call them. I called today as they didn't show up and the rep said he didn't know anything about the offer. He contacted his "support team" who said they couldn't add them because the offer was "no good anymore." The offer was tagged valid 5/28 - 7/1 and the products were purchased on June 29. I realize it is a very small amount to file a claim for, but this company continues to do this over and over again and its absolutely ridiculous. I am a VIP Platinum Member with Kmart and Sears, but I suppose that isn't good enough to correct a $7.98 mistake that will ultimately cost them yet another customer.

I bought a new home and everything for my new home is from Sears. My Craftsman Lawnmower, Craftsman Trimmer, Craftsman blower, Craftsman Toolset, LG Dryer and many things are from Sears. Never had any problem with any of my purchases. It's sad to see so many negative reviews but it is also the reality that people only write reviews when they have a bad experience. Sears being 125 year old company if all the customers from its 125 year old history had written reviews then it would stand at 4.9 out 5.0 despite of the below negative reviews from past 1 year. Having said all of that, there is always room for improvement and Sears definitely has to improve its customer experience and I hope all the troubles being faced by customers in the recent past are handled diligently by Sears. I am seriously so angry about my recent experience and I'm a very patient and understanding person. I ordered hubcaps from Sears online. They would only ship to a Sears store for pickup. First I was supposed to get an email notification once they arrived, never did. I just checked my order and it stated that they had been delivered 2 days prior. The nearest Sears store is a 1/2 hr. away. I drove there and was told that they weren't at the Sears online pickup location but were at the auto repair shop. The auto repair shop was closed at that point so I drove back the next day. The auto repair shop, who also has horrible reviews, was very rude and said that they didn't have them. I called online help and cancelled the order and received a refund. The next day (today) I received a call from the auto repair shop stating that they had them all along. I asked if they would be giving me the hubcaps since I wasted two trips out already and a third trip would have put me at 3 hrs. driving and they said that "we don't give away free merchandise". I received a bill from a collection agency for a ridiculous amount regarding a one year warranty for my treadmill.
After spending more than one hour on the phone with Citibank clerks, they told me that every bill that Citibank sent to me was returned by the post office.
I have lived at the same address for the past 15 yrs., and I always received my mail.
I think that Citibank never sent out any bill, so they can accumulate fees & interest from consumers.
I will be glad to pay the $68 of the original bill, but not the interest as I NEVER received any bill!!!!!
PLEASE send me the returned envelopes to prove that a bill was actually sent out.

If you think dealing with Sears as a customer is bad, you should try working for them. I am currently working as a backroom associate at Sears and it sucks. The one that I work at is a run down crap hole, that if the government here wasn't so lazy and corrupt would probably be shut down. Some examples: Where the ratchets are rebuilt, yes they get new insides right in the store to replace the ones that keep breaking as Craftsman tools are garbage now, There is a chemical solution that is used to clean the old ratchets. There is no hazardous material guide or procedure guide where the chemical is being used. They give you the flimsy plastic gloves and tell you not to get the liquid on you. There is no information as to whether it is an inhalation hazard or not. There is not a requirement of wearing safety goggles to protect from any splashing. There is no eye wash station anywhere in the building.

There is an overhead furnace in one part of the backroom that sounds like someone is hitting it with a hammer every time that it starts up. That is called a gas explosion by the way and you can even see about a foot high blue flame come out of the top of the furnace unit every time it does it.

There are many of the push around step units in the place to get to things stored on upper shelves or racks. Almost every single one of the wobbles because of their condition and you are expected to carry items up and down them.

The clothing backroom is a complete joke. The racks that they use to hang clothes on are not even really racks. They took the framing for shelving units and laid metal bars across the to hang the clothes on. Some of the bars are attached, some are not. They attach them with plastic ties or duct tape. The room is set up like they just added things for more storage for different departments without concern if they were anywhere near the rest of that department.

The 5 minute policy for merchandise pick up is stupid. All it does is cause a lot of stress for anyone working that particular job. Dealing with the customers is not the only thing that they have to do. They have to work with these Apple scanning devices that should just not exist as even when you can get them to scan, the battery will die every hour or two.

There is more, but you get the idea. Oh yeah, they hire in at minimum wage.

Your appliance protection plans are a scam, losing hundreds of dollars of product in a non working freezer that is covered by the plan, as well as many other appliances being payed for extended coverage. First time using and the support is not there. Phillipines based customer service center is a joke, they disconnect when calling, and do not follow through.

I have had three appointments rescheduled, cancelled, missed three days of work and all I am told is there is nothing they can do. They can't redirect another tech to my home to make the repair. We have a four year old LG refrigerator that we purchased at Sears. It was an expensive refrigerator so we bought the extended warranty. In our third year of owning it we had a problem which was taken care of by Sears maintenance in a timely manor.

This past June we had our refrigerator stop working and after a visit to diagnose the problem and two weeks waiting for the part and scheduled maintenance to return, the refrigerator worked for ONE DAY. Rescheduled someone to come diagnose the problem the second week of July, they did not show up for their first schedule appointment on a Saturday with no notification or attempt to reschedule. Monday my husband call and received no answers but had to once again schedule an appointment two weeks out. The serviceman is scheduled to come on August 18th.

We are two senior citizens, living with a cooler and chest freezer to get through the hottest months of the summer with no refrigerator. No one can believe we have had to deal with this issue. I had the handle on my freezer suddenly brake while trying to open the door. I called for repairs and was told the door would have to be replaced. I thought it was a bit much, because the handle didn't break, but the piece attached to the handle and the freezer door actually broke.

I called to check on the status today and was told I was denied a repair, because I was found to be "negligent due to improper use". I asked how and they had no answer for me.

I am beyond upset and frustrated. I have paid for a service I cannot or am being denied its use! I purchased a 3yr warranty. 2020 is my third year on this warranty and after almost 3yrs, this is the first time I have called for a repair even though I've been dealing with an ice maker issue for at least a year and a half or two. They offered me no solutions to even have the handle fixed! It is a covered part and they have refused to cover it. While the technician was here, I asked about extending the warranty in which he told me I would have to call in for that. I'm so glad I never called to extend this service, because they have shown me that they do not provide a service, just take your money for a warranty they fully intend to never enact or stand behind. 12 Calls into Sears Store in Gurnee IL - No Answer!!! I have called the Sears store that we purchased over $2700.00 in merchandise (mattresses) to talk to a Manager. I final give up, get in my car, drive 10 miles, receive the same runaround that I received from the Warranty Company (we sent in pictures of the defect as outlined in the warranty to verify the issue and was told that was "not sufficient" even though the pictures are EXACTLY what they requested.

This has been the worst experience with any company. Their home warranty division is the worst. You pay every month and then when you need them, you get no service. I have been trying to get a dishwasher fixed for THREE WEEKS. The technician is giving me the runaround. Sears isn't helping ... keep kicking the can down the road. The technician actually hung up on the customer service representative. Yet, they keep saying there is nothing that can be done to speed up the repair process. WORST HOME WARRANTY SERVICE EVER. Wow what a fraudulent company sears has become since its heyday in the past. No surprise stores closing and just a matter of time until whole fraudulent company collapses. Do not respect extended warranties. Dishwasher broken for 5 months. Tech out 4 times but still can t fix. Water won t drain. Won t replace it as per warranty contract. Same runaround story. Will send another tech out so we can waste another day with no results. Strategy is to make you so frustrated that you will move on. Guess what. It worked for them. Buying from another store and will throw this kenmore pro dishwasher in the city dump even though under warranty . Went to sears store. No help. Called corporate office. No help. They know you won t take them to court over a dishwasher and just scam you out of money for this garbage warranty

Sears is the worst. I ordered a new dryer and the website told me it could be delivered in 3 days. 3 days later, no dryer no call. I had to wait on hold for an hour until someone said the truck broke down and they would reschedule. I reschedule 2 days in advance, I was notified by a call that the truck broke down again and they would need to reschedule. They offered me a 50$ partial refund and I was happy with that. A week later on the agreed delivery window, no call no show. I got another $50 refund but I just want the dryer. My order was cancelled by sears 5 times and they all said it was because the truck broke down. You can never get ahold on anyone on the corporate number and the chat people lie. I was told via chat that supervisors do not talk to them directly, that they use a "tool" and I could not talk to a supervisor. Another day, someone claimed to be the supervisor (who was no help) and said they can't contact truck delivery people but that supervisors are always on their chat service. A local sears is actually a whole different company and gave me the 1800 number (that never gets answered). I had to take time off work to sit on hold so I could get someone to finally ok my order to be cancelled. It took me 3 weeks to get my refund after cancelling but they took my money in seconds. When calling to check in on my refund in a different department, someone even told me that the particular dryer was NOT EVEN IN STOCK and they had sold me a product that didn't exist. I feel scammed and I still don't have a dryer. Thanks for nothing Sears. How come I can track a $10 pizza order down to the street but I can't get an 2-3 day accurate delivery window of a $600 appliance?

I requested a repair on my stove, they came out assessed it, ordered the part, it was back ordered for months, I realized that I could buy a new stove for the price of the part, cancelled the service call and the part order. Requested a full refund and here we are 5 mos later with no refund. I have several emails stating they will refund fully and then they state I have to return a part I never received bc it was cancelled. Still fighting to get my $591 back.

I went through 5 Whirlpool Refrigerator's and my ice maker would not work. Then another new one arrived , dent in the side, paint flaking off . I had photos. Finally Head Office said he could only refund my money and send a gift card. I did get refund. No gift card and spent a year buying ice. I also bought a new Riding mower, new treadmill, new vacuum with extended warranties and this is how I was treated. Sears has gone down hill and NEVER again. The store down the road went out of business!!

The Sears automotive sucked the service was worse than Walmart . I purchased a battery had it installed they said they would call when my car was ready three hours later no call went to see if car was done they left car unlocked windows down the club I pacifically ask to be put on car when done was left on the passenger seat so I guess pay for quality doesn't help because the service at Sears automotive in Albuquerque next to cotton wood mall sucks I will never give them my business they didn't even explain the receipt to us. They also gave me a hassle over my service dog telling me no pets so I've decided not to give you any more of my business

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STORE SUCKS. absolute worst store ever. purchased some shirts for my father. he passed away about 30 days after. he never wore the shirts, tags still on and i have the receipts. took several emails and calls trying to contact someone. no one person would help because of the stupid 30 day policy. this store should go out of business. it has very poor customer service and poor customer relationship. i will never shop here again. have to click star to post should have minus stars.

I have never ever experienced a more-time consuming attempt at contacting an outlet store by phone. The number on my receipt, the same number listed we on their website, is not answered. Would probably still be on hold if I had not hung up and attempted to use other "Contact us" numbers. Got transferred around the world only to be told to try calling the store, or another 800 number that I had already used.

Poor customer service.. Refused to transfer me to a Supervisor.. I ve been waiting on a refund for a month. I called Rep stated it takes 21 days to be process after 21 days called back, it takes 14 days to be process. This issues occurred 11/09. We are in December, and I have not received my money (And I m not talking chump change).. my bank will investigate this matter. They are trying to ripped me off. They picked the wrong person.. Should be no stars..
