On April 29,2020 I went to Sears and ordered a upright freezer. I was told it was IN STOCK and I would receive it on June 3,2020. This was a replacement for a 32 year old freezer that could no longer be repaired. I was lucky enough to have friends that stored my food in their freezers. As of today, 9-16-2020, I still have not received my freezer. I have been given 13 different delivery dates. Now they say it will be delivered on OCT 21.2020. I have spoken to delivery dept, complaint dept, anyone I can. No one can give me an answer. I've been told plants closed, couldn't get parts to make freezers, refrigeration was being changed, deliveries were being delayed, every excuse in the book. I have spoken to the store that I ordered from and they say they can't do a thing to help me. I had ordered a 180lbs of pig meat that I picked up the first week of July thinking my freezer would arrive by then. NOPE!!! I stored it at a friends house, last week their freezer broke and I lost ALL my meat, $300.00 worth!!!! I know things have changed in the world today, but this service is ALLLL FULLLL. I should be compensated in some way for the delay and lost of my food. My father worked for Sears for 15 years and they used to have good service, NO MORE. I will NEVER order or do business with them again.
