I received a bill from a collection agency for a ridiculous amount regarding a one year warranty for my treadmill.
After spending more than one hour on the phone with Citibank clerks, they told me that every bill that Citibank sent to me was returned by the post office.
I have lived at the same address for the past 15 yrs., and I always received my mail.
I think that Citibank never sent out any bill, so they can accumulate fees & interest from consumers.
I will be glad to pay the $68 of the original bill, but not the interest as I NEVER received any bill!!!!!
PLEASE send me the returned envelopes to prove that a bill was actually sent out.
ALSO.....
As of June 18, 2015 is the first time I EVER received a bill regarding a warranty for my treadmill.
Sears found me just fine even though they didn't have my apt. number, the name is the same, the address is the same; so this PROVES that Sears never sent me any previous bills, that Sears is claiming the post office returned.
On the bill the account number for the credit card is different than the credit card that I have.
DO NOT RUIN MY GOOD CREDIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S MISTAKE!!
