I would not advise anyone to ever buy from Sears. They have outsourced their home repair to a company that is located in the Philippines. I called to set up an appointment on the Feb 3rd and was told that I could not get an appointment until the Feb 26th. On the 26th, I waited until 7:00 pm CST and called to see where the technician was. I was then informed that the technician was behind and could not make it and I would be rescheduled for 8 March. After trying to call the Sears Corporate Office, I was informed that there is nothing they can do and I have to deal with the company they outsourced the repair to. We now have to go without a washer for over a month and there is no guarantee that the technician will show up on 8 March. No wonder Sears is closing their doors. I will never buy anything else from this company. Prior to their outsourcing, we never had one problem having something repaired.
