We have a four year old LG refrigerator that we purchased at Sears. It was an expensive refrigerator so we bought the extended warranty. In our third year of owning it we had a problem which was taken care of by Sears maintenance in a timely manor.
This past June we had our refrigerator stop working and after a visit to diagnose the problem and two weeks waiting for the part and scheduled maintenance to return, the refrigerator worked for ONE DAY. Rescheduled someone to come diagnose the problem the second week of July, they did not show up for their first schedule appointment on a Saturday with no notification or attempt to reschedule. Monday my husband call and received no answers but had to once again schedule an appointment two weeks out. The serviceman is scheduled to come on August 18th.
We are two senior citizens, living with a cooler and chest freezer to get through the hottest months of the summer with no refrigerator. No one can believe we have had to deal with this issue. I wish Sears would just come and take this damn refrigerator and give us a refurbished one. Enough is enough.
