The customer service (I use those words loosely) from Sears Holdings is absolutely ridiculous. For a dying company, they do little to nothing to retain the few remaining customers they still have. An offer was tagged in store for 100% back in Shop Your Way points on Smart Sense trash bags, freezer bags, aluminum foil, detergent, as well as a couple additional products. I purchased two items, both freezer bags, for a total of $7.98. The points did not show on the receipt and I asked the cashier. She said the Shop Your Way offers never worked right and I could call them. I called today as they didn't show up and the rep said he didn't know anything about the offer. He contacted his "support team" who said they couldn't add them because the offer was "no good anymore." The offer was tagged valid 5/28 - 7/1 and the products were purchased on June 29. I realize it is a very small amount to file a claim for, but this company continues to do this over and over again and its absolutely ridiculous. I am a VIP Platinum Member with Kmart and Sears, but I suppose that isn't good enough to correct a $7.98 mistake that will ultimately cost them yet another customer.
