Do not order anything online. They took my money, gave me a tracking number and could not tell me where my shipment was. I keep getting told that if my delivery did not show up at expected delivery date then I would have to call back or I could call their customer. I tried multiple times to call their customer and tried to email. There was no answer and no reply. I ordered a dinning room on September 29th. I canceled the order on the day it was suppose to deliver. Sears is trying to charge me all these fees that amounts up to the cost of the table, when they could not even tell me where my shipment was. They are steeling peoples money. Do not order from them.

Purchased a refrigerator from the outlet for my daughter and nothing but problems she has the extended warranty but its beyond repair and they refuse to replace it! She has lost time from work waiting for repairs aswell as food due to the refrigerator malfunctioning. Sears is a rip off nothing like I grew up with and I plan to contact an attorney regarding this issue

I asked for a replacement fridge and was refused & was told after three repairs I can get a replacement. That s ridiculous! Don t purchase anything from Sears hometown!

Worst customer service ever! Never buy anything from this company. Customer service hung up on me, kept getting transferred from dept to dept, called corporate and was hung up on. Will not help at all with any issues. I originally ordered a wall oven, when i received the item it was damaged and came packaged in the wrong box with no bottom and was wrapped with tape to secure it together. GREAT JOB SEARS, loosing a customer over an issue that could easily be solved. I recommend that everyone stay away from sears and purchase from stores that will actually go above and beyond to help your needs.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with I ordered a arrow storage shed back in May 2019 I still have not received my order been on the phone with customer service every other day since July 3rd on hold for over an hour every time I call sometimes I have to hang up and try the next day when I do get someone they are no help then they will tell me management will give me a call back to this day July 20th still have not received a call from management or received my order VERY VERY unhappy customer I will be canceling my credit card with you guys and will be taking my business elsewhere

Sears is the worst store in the world. They do not take responsibility for choices they make in clients and the quality of merchandise. Imagine I purchased a piece Oasis patio set from sears on 4/16/18 and a week later the glass table just shattered. I called sears and reported it, their response was to call the manufacturer because they cannot help me. I called the manufacturer's # but was greeted with a voice mail message. I did leave my name a # and a subject matter but never received a call from them. Is there anyone out there that can help me get my money back, please respond to my post. They deserved zero stars

The phone service is dismal. Calling customer service ends up with someone answering in the Philippines. They trie hard, but the communications is almost nonexistent. Calling the local store (Greeley, CO)
was an effort in futility, it took 20 minutes to get to the right person after being disconnected twice. Corporate need to reexamine their inferior phone service. They no doubt lose a lot of sales because of it, and the aggregation that customers have to deal with is unacceptable. Thanks for listening.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. I worked for a Sears store and they constantly pushed us to sell their Master Protection Agreements and their credit cards. I was always told that the MPAs would cover anything and everything. After leaving the company and replacing the appliances in my home and buying a new TV, I bought MPAs on some of the items just in case. The icemaker quit working on the fridge and the TV screen was broken while trying to move everything around. After being on hold for 15 minutes, I was received by a woman with quite the attitude and after describing the issue with the fridge, she had me hold up the phone near the fridge so she could hear the motor, I legitimately thought that was a joke. She then asked about the TV and I told her I was not sure how the screen broke. She put me on hold while she talked to someone higher and then told me it it wasn't covered underneath the $400 'master protection agreement' that I purchased. I feel sorry for sipping the kool aid while working there and pushing these things. Maybe they have helped some people. However, I also remember the really angry ones that accused me of lying after things went wrong. Well, the joke is on me. I hope someone high up sees this. I would avoid doing business with any big box Sears stores, if there are any left. Do your research before buying the protection agreements. There may be something better out there.

I called customer service more than 10 times horrible service. I though this was a serious company, I will not recommend them for nothing.

In my opinion, Sears Kenmore Brand refrigerators m...

In my opinion, Sears Kenmore Brand refrigerators made by LG are appliances you want to avoid and never purchase. My purchased my first Kenmore fridge made by LG in 2004 and it caused one nightmare after another...the doors would not close correctly and the seals and latches had to be replaced numerious times...the water despenser in the door would not stop flowing and poured water into the floor...ice cubes would continue to despense and "fly" across the floor...the electronics and ducting system had to be replaced...the worst was when an internal water line began leaking but I did not discover that until $35,000 damage was done to thehardwood floor and drywall behind the kitchen cabinets and in the pantry.
When Sears finally agreed to replace the refrigerator, I was assured that Kenmore appliances (refrigerators) made by LG had resolved ALL the design flaws and problems with the Kenmore/LG line had been resolved. Ten months after I started using the replacement refrigerator, the replacement fridge STOPPED WORKING in the middle of the night. When the service tech came today he reported, " the electronics board needs replacements/updating and the ducting in the back of the fridge needs replacement/rerouting...the parts will not be available for 4 days...you need to turn off the fridge for the build-up ice to melt." I can't believe the is happening again.
I remember as a child how reliable Sears products were considered to be...today, I am convinced that Sears/LG refrigerators should be avoided...don't buy them...don't look at them...in fact, I suggest that you do not purchase anything from Sears.

Sears will not replace a washing machine/dryer that hasn't work much since my mother-in-law bought it. It worked for four months then broke down. She called and they sent a repair man out and it was still broken. They sent a repair man out six more times and the machine still is not fixed and has not worked for two months. Sears with not do the right thing and replace the machine. Since it was on sale they will only give her a credit of what she paid on the sale price for the machine. They would not even send her a receipt of her bill and made the excuse you had to get it at the store you bought if from. They also refused to give her the number for the corporate office. This is a single retired women living on a limited income. Sears does not stand behind their products. No wonder they are losing customers. It's simple good customer service equals a prosperous business. Our family will not set foot in a Sears ever again.

Thank you Eddie Lambert for ruining thousands of lives. After having controlling interest in Sears Canada he bled the company for all it was worth and now not only thousands have lost their career but many retirees are in trouble. I myself am probably out almost $200,000. What Eddie doesn t realize is it took many people to build both Sears in Canada but also in the USA and Eddie unfortunately does not see the value in people but only see s the value in the almighty dollar and if that means ruining thousands of lives he can sit comfortably on his yacht. People in Sears Holdings beware as I am sure your time may be next if Eddie Lambert can continue to get away with these crimes.

I have been a long term Sears customer for almost 30 years. I purchased all of my appliances with Sears as did my mother. The customer service that I have received this year is absolutely horrible.
Sears NO LONGER CARES about their customers anymore it's very sad.
If you can imagine being without working appliances during COVID-19.
I have two disabled family members and have gone without a working Washer and Dryer since June 6,2020. For unknown reason Sears contracts out their repair work to unqualified 3rd party repair people that claim they work for Sears. It has been 2 months this is CRAZY!
Washer, Dryer, Fridge, Dishwasher, does not work a crack in glass panel of double oven. This feels like a scam! This should not happen to anyone please HELP! Buyer Beware of there repair service agreements it did not use to be like this. =(

Gave Sears a star so that this review will be posted. They deserve nothing at all! Warranty service has deteriorated to the point where it is non-existent. Every service appointment I am given is postponed by Sears the day before it is scheduled; their service sub-contractor, when called, will say he is coming and then doesn't and when you call Sears, they put you on hold and never pick up again. I'll never buy another product from Sears again.

The delivery team in coeur d' alene Idaho is the worse. A beautiful day and plowed roads and the drivers couldn't make my delivery siting road conditions. Then when i ask for a full refund they give me the run around. The customer service is the worse i have ever dealt with. This is how they treat a VET. No wounder they are going out of business.

Well here we are 2 days later and they refund me a partial payment in 4 payments and when i contact they about it they blow smoke up my butt and then tell me i have to wait 3 to 4 day for the rest of my money. Never buy anything from sears.

The employees at the Sears Outlet store and extremely rude. I told the employee I was paying with cash because I had to have my card replaced so 35 minutes after I left he calls me and tells me he forgot to charge me for delivery and he would take my card over the phone! I just told the man I didn't have one!! They won't tell me when it is going to be delivered so I have to sit in the house all day like they don't care if you have to work or you have children. I called to see if they had an approximate time or could give me a phone number and was told "don't know"! Some one really needs to re-evaluate the employees at that store!

I order a washer and dyer from Sears last week and was have issues with the online system so i called customer service and the representative was not understanding what I was trying to explain to her and I could not get her understand after several attempt to make her understand I finally told her to cancel my order because of the difficulty. So she said she cancelled the order but I didn't receive a confirmation so i called back and the second rep. was a little bitter and she told that she cancelled the ordered as well. Later that I evening I got a email telling that I had to go through the store to cancel the order, call the store several time for the phone to just ring. I guess Sears really don't want my business, I call customer service to fix the problem with the delivery address and to find out why my rewards weren't applied and ended canceling.

I have a water heater still under warranty. Sears will not send the part to anyone else to fix. The first appointment offered was 3 weeks out when I was scheduled to be out of town, so I had to wait 4 weeks without hot water for my appointment. Sears cancelled that appointment the day before and rescheduled for another 3 weeks out. I will have been out of hot water for almost 4 months when and IF Sears shows up. What kind of company treats it's customers this way? You'd think they would want to keep it's current customers, not chase them away. Stay away from Sears appliances!

The customer service at SEARS is just average. Some of the associates don't seem to be very knowledgable about the products in their departments. Perhaps they could use some updated training on product knowledge as well as on better customer service. Some of them aren't overly friendly or accommodating. There are also rarely any associates around or available if you do find yourself needing help with something. So then you have to constantly look around the entire store trying to find someone who might be able to assist or answer basic questions. SEARS does have a moderately wide selection of products and brands to choose from. Their prices are also relatively competitive with other large retailers'. Customer service and product knowledge though are probably the two areas which they need to improve upon the most.

Long story short. Sears came to my home to try and fix my 2yr old LG refrigerator, which I purchase at Sears along with an oven. After 9 visits they still can not fix the refrigerator. There customer service if you can get a hold of them will not help you till you get an extended protection plan. Hope you have one if not get it. With out it you will have headaches. There supervisors "Konni 300284" is the most horrible out of all of them. The worst thing is their is Know accountability. They will just keep transferring you once you call to different departments to get you to give up. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am not the type that quits but after several hours and days spent on this I am done. Good luck!

I had the worst experience in a retail store that I have ever had in my entire life at Sears. I purchased an item from the store that I wanted to exchange because the item did not fit. I was 2 weeks over the 30 day return, which it wasn't a return it was an exchange and they would not exchange the item. I called the corporate number provided to me by the manager and that was worse than what I experienced in the store. I will never, and I do mean never, go back in this store again. After all the money I have spent in this store to be treated like trash to exchange an item was an experience that the only way I can describe is unacceptable and disgusting. Do not, I repeat do not waste your time going in this store. If you want to know why there are multiple stores closing and you hardly see anyone in it, it is because their service is extremely poor.

i have paid for Sears service on all my home appliances for 30 years. There service now is just awful, they don't speak english or understand english. They just put you on hold and never pick up again. Their tech's are now inexperianced people- i told them 2 months ago my hot water tank was going and he argued with me. less than 60 days later from the service call- it blows up and floods my basement. I am without hot water all day- spent 5 hours on the phone, given 5 different phone numbers- no help at all!!
I will be cancelling all my service contracts and never to buy a kenmore product again...

I have never been so disappointed with customer service..Since October 24th we have not have an operating refrigerator...with a husband with cancer this is a nightmare...We have had service men that contend their truck was not properly equipped to 4 parts necessary delivery not known...I have been a Sears customer for 50 years...NEVER AGAIN

I highly suggest no ever go to sears when buying an appliance or tools or anything big. The have the worst customer service. Their deliveries dont arrive on time. I took 2 days off work to pick up my ordee in store in bismarck nd, and both says were wasted wages of $400.00 total because my order never came in. That was the price of one item i purchaced. Plus they couldnt tell me when it would be comeing in. There management are rude and unhelpful. The corporate office doesn't care and doesnt respond to customers either. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

I wish I could give Kmart 0 stars for their absolutely horrible customer service. I made an online purchase on Black Friday (yes in November) my order was cancelled the same day after I paid for it. It is now the end of January & after multiple calls to customer service to be hung up on, given the run around or left on hold for over an hour I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY REFUND TWO MONTHS LATER!!! What can I do to get my money back as it's been more than enough time to process a refund?! I want my money back already!!!!

Two missed service appointments for my range with no cancellation calls. Spent 8 vacation hours waiting for nothing. Spent more time on my lunch periods attempting resolution with the Sears Complaint Line. Was transferred over and over again, no one knew what they could do to resolve my issues, other than resched my appt - why would I waste more vacation time? Finally offered equivalent of $20 in Shop Your Way rewards points. That doesn't even begin to cover the lost wages, my sanity and the fact that my range still isn't working. Will never use Sears for anything again. I would rate negative stars if possible.

I placed an order for a part through Sears Parts Direct online. I had to send the part back because it was not needed. I received an email stating they would not be refunding my money because the part could not be resold. Not only am I out $87 for the part and the $10 shipping, but they kept the part. I won't be doing business with Sears anymore. We decided to replace all of our Kenmore appliances. This is why Sears is going under.

Very simple. I ordered an expensive appliance, and if I had not eventually questioned when the item would be delivered. . . no one would have even known it existed. I eventually spent 8 days trying to arrange delivery, spending hours on the phone, and having people miss work to be available. The local installer admitted Sears has a broken system, and it "is designed to fail."

After eventually canceling the order (after the worst customer service experience of my life), I was told no confirmation of a refund could be offered. Hmm? Over 3 weeks later, I have still not received a refund, and we were told by Sears that it was not clear whether we still received the appliance (which was subsequently holding up our refund.) They never would have told us this...we had to fight them to get this info. So, again, they would have held our money indefinitely. AND, they blame us and are basically calling us frauds for asking for our refund. (At the time of this review, we still have no refund, while we continue to pay interest on the credit card purchase.)

I will never, EVER, return to a Sears for anything after this treatment. I should have listened to the long list of friends and family that already came to this decision long ago. Sears is a sinking ship.
Zero stars.

I contacted a local appliance store who ordered, delivered, and installed the exact same appliance in 3 days, even at the exact hour of our choosing. And, they price matched. ALWAYS try your local guys first.

DONOT buy any service agreements or any appliances. I had a stand alone icemaker be deemed no longer repairable in January 2020. It is August and still replacement. DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS and when you call, you are on hold for long lengths of time. The one time I left the phone open. It took over 3 hours to pick up. The whole company should just close down and dont buy the stock either.

Sears sold me a brand new refrigerator for about $...

Sears sold me a brand new refrigerator for about $2800 less than 2 years ago. I came home on 9/20 to a warm refrigerator/freezer and hundreds of dollars of lost groceries. I called Sears the next day and scheduled a service appointment for 9/25 and was told it would be a $99 labor fee. I lost income to stay home from work and the technician that showed up was rude and broke a piece off the back of the refrigerator with a pair of pliers and told me it would be over $300 to fix for labor since the parts are under warranty. I told him to leave, that I was not going to pay that much money when I was told it would $99, and I didn't want to work with him since he just purposely broke a piece off. I immediately called Sears and asked them to have the parts ordered and shipped to my house. I was told that the technician had to close the account first, but that they would put a note in the file to get the parts ordered and that I would get a phone call to let me know when they would be delivered. I also filed a complaint against the technician for breaking that piece off. I didn't receive a phone call so I called a few days later and after many hours spent on the phone with "customer service", I was told that another technician would have to come out to look at the refrigerator again. Customer Service was nothing but rude and unhelpful. I was now being inconvenienced again losing a second day of income because of the incompetency of the fist technician and being lied to on the phone about the labor charge. On 10/6, the second technician came out and ordered 5 different parts all of which were under warranty and we sent a repair appointment for the 10/19 which I have documented on the receipt he printed out. I called on 10/18 to ensure that I had all the parts in my possession for the following days appointment. At this time I was told my appointment was scheduled for 10/25. I was not notified of the change or consulted in any matter. Had I not called, I would have taken a day off of work for no reason. On 10/25, my 3rd day of lost income, a technician showed up late and replaced all of the parts. I was told it would take 12-24 hours to be cold enough to put food in it. It's now 10/26, it has been 22 hours and the refrigerator/freezer are both warm. I spoke with Sears today requesting that they replace the refrigerator. I gave them an opportunity to fix this one, and they were unable to repair it. Replacement is the only option. They are refusing. I learned from one of the technicians that he had repaired 40 of these refrigerators in the last month. This product is defective and they are doing nothing about it.

I called Sears to fix my washer that had a connectivity fault in the electronics. At the time of the call, they up-sold me to $50 a year with a $75/visit charge to cover all major appliances in my home. I asked several times to ensure this was true as it seemed a good deal. It took them three visits to fix a relatively simple problem, but that's ok.

About three months later, I noticed that they had been charging us $50 a month, not $50 a year!! They completely lied to me when the signed us up. AND they won't let me cancel without a $99 fee. AND they won't even give me someone to talk to about it. Told me that we could write a letter to the corporation.

They are a complete scam. Completely misrepresented themselves. Flat out lied and won't work with you to fix it. Don't use them!!!

They cancel orders without telling you or it takes for ever to get it and if you call about it we are working to resolve the issue. Well the order should have been done days ago. Well we will have to send a request to get someone to find out and then still nothing Or they hang up on you. The customer service team 95% of them have attitudes and I get its not their fault but neither is it our fault. Someone needs to retrain all of their employees again

Of course the warranty was only good for 12 months.The woman employed at the Sears in Tomah, Wi was so incompetent, I found it hard to believe she works at the store by herself. I have been trying to get a dishwasher I purchased delivered and installed since December the 10th, installer never showed or called , then come to find out they were calling the wrong number not the number that I gave them now i cant even get in touch with them. I called Sears for the 11th time and they redid my order so that I could get a new installer. I ended up with the same installer after I asked for someone more professional, needless to say the installer still will not set up a date even after Sears called them several times and set three different appointments. I am cancelling my order and I am done with sears very unprofessional. I have shopped at sears for over 35 years but this is it for me.

I haven't had the "pleasure" to deal with their repair department (seems to be the most common complaint), but I bought a Kenmore Elite dryer about a year ago and a Craftsman lawnmower a couple of months ago. The sales staff was great and helpful, price was right and the products are great. Maybe if/when I have to get them repaired my 4 stars might change but for now I'm happy.

Note: I gave it 4 stars only because of the dozens of negative repair department reviews, so by principle I didn't give it 5 stars in hoping corporate will take note.

Sears customer service is so bad that I wont buy from them again. Our refrigerator that is still under warranty had a faulty compressor and broken ice maker. After a week without a refrigerator, the tech finally arrived at 5 PM on a Tuesday. The next morning the machine was still not right in terms of temperature and it was rattling. I called customer service and that's when it got bad. The man called me sir, and I corrected him. Then after I told him my partner handled the situation, he asked for my husband's phone number. I'm not married to a man. After feeling incredibly insulted, I asked for his supervisor. He then hung up on me. Later in the day, still upset, I tried to call corporate to complain about the call center. The woman at CORPORATE then hung up on me after barking that complaints go to the complaint department, which is located at the call center. How can the call center be responsible for handling my complaint about them? Awful.

I call in for a dryer service, technician came in 6/11/16 didn't had the part neede to fix dryer, he order the part make appointment for 6/18/16 from 8:00 to 12:00 nobody show up or call to let me know that the driver call in sick. I call and I expend 2 hrs they transfer me from one person to another total of 2 hrs until I find out that he call in sick, nobody had the courtesy to give me a call to let me know, I am very angry and I feel that they don't care about their jobs they have very unprofessional personal working that they don't even know what to explain to the customers, I take care of a sick person (my mother) in order to get out of my house I have to look for a caregiver and I have to pay for the service. I live 30 minutes away from the first laundry place, is not easy for me to go out and do my laundry outside home, that is one of the reasons why I have everything I need at home. I feel like we have to raise our voices so they can provide better service, because they charge good money for the insurance for your appliances, they have to give a better service, and have back ups to do the job when somebody call in sick. I am a business women(FedEx Ground private contractor, I have to wash uniforms for 3 people every week, I can't waiste my time talking in the phone with unprofesional people at Sears. And I have back ups when one of my drivers doesn't show up I have somebody to do the job.

Tried to exchange shirt that we bought for our grandson that was not the right size. lost the receipt but shirt still had all of the tags and nothing wrong with it. lady at counter said that Sears will not exchange items without a receipt even if tags are still on item that we bought.
Very poor return policy. Not a problem though we will give shirt another child and will not be returning to Sears in the future.

Zero stars for sure. I had a dishwasher that needed repair. Repairmen would never show up on correct date or time. Three attempts - all missed. When they did come out, they could not fix anything. They were called via my home warranty company AHS. I paid AHS my co-pay and AHS has statements showing they paid sears for doing nothing. After sears never repaired anything on 3 recalls, AHS finally replaced the dishwasher. Now Sears has turned me over to collections for over $150.00 when I do not owe them anything. After contacting them, they lied and told me they have no idea what I am talking about and I do not owe them anything, but they won't do anything to get collections off of me, even though I never owed Sears anything at all.

I think this company should be out of business. I have purchased many appliances through them and then I ordered Cooper tires for my Nissan 9 months ago and had Sears Auto in Matteson, IL put them on. They have lost air for the entire time. I made trip after trip after trip with hour waits. Well, 7 days following my last trip since Cooper told me it was either the valve stems or the beading was done improperly, I was almost killed on the expressway. The air pressure gauge went on and I thought it was just one or more tires 5 pounds low since that was the case consistently for 6 months. No, I went on the expressway and the tire was shredded. Called Hoffman Estates twice....they took all the info, gave me 2 case numbers, said Tina the mgr would contact me in 48 hours..never did...called back....she finally said she would give me 4 new tires...I said my tires were new, they don't know how to install them...well she sent me to their insurance Sedgwick..had an inspector come to my house and take pictures of the half of tire left...just got a call form them 5 weeks later saying Sears was not at fault. So I almost died, spent numerous hours, they put on one new tire pressure gauge for 66 dollars...rebeaded the rear two tires which 7 days later I had to go to another place to have them removed and re beaded correctly, and a new tire purchased and they refuse liability or to pay me for my out of pocket. I am livid. I did not have a road hazard because I would gladly have assumed responsibility. I have work orders going back to when they originally put them on my car and they continually lost air every 2-3 weeks. They broke off my Nissan logo from my hub cap also. I sent photos, letters from Cooper, and they treated me like a low down lying convict. And I also used A & E to repair my dryer which is who they sent out. Guy removed the felt liner from the dryer, and then he had me write him a check and cancelled my Sears repair number. They asked for a copy of the check which I emailed them and heard nothing. So don't trust A & E either. I want to sue in Small claims court but who can fight this giant who I wish beyond all my dreams that this company goes under water. I will be the happiest person alive. So bad enough My Kenmore range was so bad Sears gave us credit to replace it. We ordered a GE Profile induction range and waited 3 weeks for delivery, (after Thanksgiving) The stove was loaded on it's side in the truck on top of a refrigerator and it was damaged. (The fault of whoever loaded it.) i GOT A CALL ABOUT THE DELIVERY AND THE PERSON GAVE THE PHONE TO THE PERSON WHO LOADED THE TRUCK AND HE ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT THE DRIVER BEING AT FAULT. Delivery service was top-notch. Our new delivery date is Jan. 11 (after Christmas) and it just a matter of getting it out of the warehouse. That delivery date is unacceptable and , if I could, I would cancel and go elsewhere. I requested a form to report this fiasco and after three attempts, did not get one. CAN YOU DO SOMETHING TO EXPEDITE THIS DELIVERY?????

This is the WORST company on the face of the planet! I had a Sears technician come to my house to repair my dishwasher, which is under warranty through my home warranty plan. The 1st technician ordered 3 (three) parts and said they would send someone back out to make the repairs when the parts arrived. Well, finally the parts arrived, which took about 3 - 1/2 weeks. A different technician arrived and refused to make the repairs, stating the repairs were not covered under the warranty, and it would cost me $132 to get it repaired, when I was told by the first technician that it would be covered. The second technician tried to make it look like it was my fault that the repair was needed and refused to fix the problem, unless he was compensated $132. I told him I was NOT going to pay that because I was told that the repair was necessary by my Warranty Company, American Home Shield, and by the first Sears technician, and that it was approved. He gathered up the parts and left. The technician was VERY RUDE, and I have witnesses, and he did not have sufficient supplies to clean up his own mess on my floor that he had created! He asked if I had some paper towels he could use, and I told him I did,...for $132. He saw the paper towels on the counter and commenced to use some anyways. This guy was a real ARROGANT JERK, who didn't want to complete any work. He should be FIRED! He needs sensitivity training. This incident took place on July 25, 2012, at 1:30 - 2:30 PM, at my residence in Navasota, Texas. It's too bad Sears hasn't gone out of business, because they should. They were the best for so long, and NOW, they STINK!!

Copy of my Yelp review on the Sears appliance repair side of the business. Corp needs to know.... DO NOT USE. Shockingly poor service. My mom called them to fix her built in microwave oven (she lives in Westland, MI). 1st visit was on Apr14. Today is May22 and still not fixed after 3 visits, multiple reschedules with no notice, and a few no shows (May18 most recently). No single point of contact either. Posted and IM'd MN (and KL) on social media. They set appt for May22 noon to 4pm slot. I called at noon and was told we were rescheduled to tomorrow, no notice or courtesy call and really the last straw after 5 weeks. Spoke to Cinci on the phone and she wasn't willing/able to help. Said they didn't have a tech available. MN (and KL) from Sears social media apparently told me the appt was set but didn't set it up. What a cluster f of incompetence. The team is polite but incompetent and unable to actually do anything to address an issue. Won't be surprised when Sears goes out of business. Just a matter of time. Poor quality products and terrible service. Hours and hours of our time has been wasted waiting on techs and on the phone trying to schedule or complain.

Followup 07/2018: I was fortunate that I was final...

Followup 07/2018: I was fortunate that I was finally able to get through to an executive at Sears HQ and this person did his work well and he was able to cut through the red tape and authorize a new refrigerator for us. We had to pay a small portion out of pocket but we finally have a good working fridge and I am grateful that Sears still has some employees who do their job despite challenges. I am editing my rating due to this favorable outcome. But I blame Eddie Lampert alone for the disastrous state of this once glorious company. I hope Sears can turnaround even so with a focus on customers, quality and people.

Earlier Story:
On April 7 Sears started repair work on my Kenmore Elite refrigerator. We have a Sears Home Warranty. After repeated attempts they were unable to fix the refrigerator. On June 8 they said it cannot be fixed and said someone would call within 3 business days to authorize replacement. Since then each day when I call I get the run around and they keep saying Sears has not provided a full report and authorization cannot take place until that occurs. In the meanwhile it is almost 3 months and I do not have a fridge. I and my family are struggling without it. Sears Home Warranty is a big rip off - I pay them monthly and they have done nothing to fix this problem. I call many different numbers and get no where and I keep getting passed around from 1 group and 1 department to the other. None of these departments know how to work with each other and I am struggling for almost 3 months on a broken fridge with no resolution. Sears Home Warranty is cheating customers. Sears has zero customer service since no one seems to have a clue what they are doing.

NEVER BUY FROM SEARS! Sears Corporation is the single most frustrating and unprofessional business that I have had to deal with. SEARS CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. We bought a Kenmore refrigerator from them and it stopped cooling. When I called Sears to have it serviced, they of course failed to tell me that the part has a 10 years warranty (which I found out from a small repair business) but it is also a two week wait for them to come out just to diagnose it. Before the repairman came out, we could keep the fridge temp at in the 40s, so it was cold enough for us to keep food in. Our freezer would work if we had a bag of ice in it to help. The guy said that our compressor was working half the time. He ordered the parts but it's another two weeks to wait. After he worked on it, the fridge stopped working completely and now it make a humming sound. When I tried to call customer service, they couldn't help me. When asked to speak to manager, they don't take calls. So basically no one can help. They won't transfer you to anyone in corporate management. Customer service wouldn't send the same repair guy to figure out what he did. SEARS HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will NEVER buy from them again. SEARS SUCKS!! I didn't even want to give them one star, but they don't give you a choice.

Each appointment I wait around my house for the "4 hour window" when the tech will come out, and 2x the called to cancel. Will never by another Sears appliance. I shouldn't worry - they are going out of business and no longer care about keeping customers happy.

My Kenmore Pro refrigerator went down. Called the service center and waited 40 minutes to get connected. Had a really bad connection and asked if they had my number in case we got disconnected. She said she had no ability to call me back if we were disconnected. I gave her the info she needed and put me on hold, Yes! We were disconnected. So I am on the phone waiting again and decided to use the chat format at which they refer you and it is busy and notes "try later" ???
And you wonder why Sears is in dire financial stress. Need to keep customers once you have them. Management should be doing their do diligence and call as a customer to see how the service is performing. I going to call an outside service as I cant wait hours to get support.

I got the dishwasher but now I have not heard from the people should install the dishwasher, I paid them on May. Now I am fighting to get my money back and I already hired another plumber to get the installation of the dishwasher. Do not use their contractors unless you paid them after the service, to assure they do whatever you need them to do. Purchased a model 377050 mower. After two cuttings, it would not start because Sears and Briggs& Stratton decided people don't need a mower that runs on the gas you buy down the street and they engineered one that runs on their $4.99 per quart fuel. Took it twice to a Sears repair site and the second time they "fixed" it, oil hemorrhaged from it like a sieve. I contacted Sears a a very nice customer service rep set up a home visit from a service tech. Then the tech calls and says they work on riding mowers but can't fix a gasket on a push mower (Gordon Ramsey can't make grilled cheese). I grudgingly take the mower in a third time, when I pick it up, they say they adjusted the valves and changed the oil and it was still leaking oil! I can't get anyone at Sears to give me an answer on getting my money back so I can find a mower that actually will run long enough to cut grass. This bothers me; I used to make tools for Craftsman. To see the disregard for customers and the drop in quality from Sears is disappointing.

On 2/8/2020 I took my car to the sears auto center...

On 2/8/2020 I took my car to the sears auto center in Pasadena TX for 4 brand new tires, alignment, and brakes. After the services were complete the Mechanic approached me to inform me of a accident with my truck. The mechanic allegedly was backing out my truck and ran into the garage damaging my driver side (left) side of my truck. The damages were severe enough that my drivers door would not close and I was unable to drive home in my vehicle. Me and my 3 young kids had to hike a ride 40 minutes away from my home. One of the managers called Sedgwick and gave me a claim number and explained that someone would be in contact with me. Today is 2/13/2020. I have not heard from anyone representing this claim and I am still unable to access my vehicle. I have called, left messages and have not heard back from anyone. Please can someone help me.

Infuriated is stating it lightly! I scheduled a dishwasher repair (the track is broken) and was given a 4 hr window with the guarantee of a phone call when on their way. After waiting 4 hrs & NO phone call, I called and was told the technician was running late (obviously) and it would be at least another hour wait. I was not going to be home and we rescheduled for today, an entire week later since they had no other openings. FOUR hours later, STILL NO TECHNICIAN! They've offered me a lousy $30 gift card. SERIOUSLY?? EIGHT of my hours are worth $30??? They need to do better than that!

Horrible customer service. Not a single person can help with their tool box issues. All they can say is your out of warranty and screw you. Was transferred 8x and not a single peraon can help.

Even after i asked to speak to somone from craftsman to help with the issue, all i got was no sorry you dont have any warranty. Sorry the drawers keep getting stuck. Sorry you dont have your original receipt. Sorry you spent your money on shity items.

I ordered a refrigerator at the local Sears store, wrong size returned it same day, store told me look online find right fridge, right sizes and then reorder. Got online found price was same as store but they offered me 24 months same as cash and free delivery, wow, ordered it right there. They offered French door 27.6 cf for 999.00 mod #70413. Should have known if it sounds to good to be true it probably isn't. I called the online delivery to see about delivery date was told there was a mix up with my order said they would reorder my fridge but the sale price would not be honored gave me a case number 3048016 they apologized for the mix up said they would fix it and even gave me a 10% discount for my purchase! They told me a rep would call me in three business days to tell me the delivery date and if you don't hear from us you call us and just refer to your case number. What a big lie, they again told me I had no fridge ordered and said they were so sorry for the mix up. I don't think they had any intention of ever sending me a fridge, I read a lot of feedback for Sears online and it seems orders disappear all the time for discounted items. If you doubt my story look up my case number 3048016 you will get a real laugh it was about four call lasting over an hour each reassuring me it was resolved only to hang up the phone and drop the order again and again and again!
