I contacted LG on November 5th about a range oven not working. Was told that a service center had accepted my claim and would be out to repair. No one from that shop called me for two weeks. I finally called them and they told me they had just received the claim the day before (Nov.16) from LG. Also told me that my range wouldn't be fixed before Thanksgiving and that no one would be out until the first of December. I called the LG warranty dept and was told there was nothing they could do, and that I would have to call and try to set up another appointment if I wanted my range to be fixed. This is unacceptable. I need a working range for the holiday that is only 6 days away.
Will never purchase another LG product.

My oven is having issues and the other day LG said they would call me back in 1 hour so for it s been 5 days. Customer service does not care.I been on the phone with LG for three months. LG tells me they will call me back and don t or they hang up on me or I on hold tell my cell phone battery runs out. I Give LG a Big Fat Zero on Customer Service. LG customer service makes you call about the repairs to the repair shop. I been in customer service for about 20 years I have never told my customer to call the repair shop. Don't buy LG washing machine. My machine is only 4 years old and have service contract. They tell me the cup for bleach has water running through it when washing, mine has a whole in it machine rusted inside I was told cosmetic. Sensor need to be replaced also never ordered. If you machine it over flows model Washer LG 5.p model #WT5680HVA. They will not fix it. Never ordered parts to use till it falls apart and I have extended 5 year contract. The machine cost $899 and service contract $299 . Why do they not stand by their products. I have to wait and see if they will give me a credit. I have all LG products in the house the stove has been fixed so many times and I paid a few times. Same with the dishwasher had to replace motor. LG refrigerator the ice maker had stopped working I have to take a blow dryer on hot ever few days to defrost the ice stuck in side. It is not right you do not stand by your products. Just out of warranty had to have a new circuit board replaced for over $350, now the outer tub has cracked. Can not get any information on part, keep sending wrong part with no vent cut out. I am writing again to further continue and express how disappointed I am from LG not taking an action about my TV situation.
I have purchased a brand new LG OLED TV on Nov 22nd,2017 .Just after a month of use a vertical line on the panel appeared and the TV would not turn back on. The power light would just blink a few times whenever i attempted to turn on the TV.
Technician from Triton Plasma Services finally came in 01/03/18 to fix my TV. He replaced the panel and motherboard and left after the TV turned back ON and was functioning normally.
The replaced panel had MANY SCRATCHES of various sizes and at multiples areas all over it and looks old/used.I have contacted LG Customer Service the next morning, they asked to contact Triton Plasma Services.
Triton Plasma Services say they hold no responsibility and I should only be contacting LG customer service for any further assistance.The service is very unsatisfactory so far. I did not get to use my brand new TV for Christmas and New Year, and now got it fixed with a stale old panel.
When contacted the LG customer support they mentioned "lg will not be able to do anything with the panel. The panel has scratches on it but it does not affect the operation of the TV. I have also attached the warranty to this e-mail. Replacement parts may be new or factory remanufactured."

That is very disappointing, to say the least.

First of all, the scratches on the panel, may not be affecting the TV operation but they do affect my viewing experience.

I had gone overboard with my budget, to buy the latest and the best-looking TV from a trusted brand a TV that I would, not only, enjoy seeing myself, but also take immense pride in showing it to all my friends.
The scratches on the panel are visible to everyone and they just kill the excitement that a brand new TV worth $2xxx/- is expected to provide.

So, was I wrong in my judgement of LG as a trusted brand? Would LG not care for its customer s overall satisfaction?

I m not bothered if the panel is new or remanufactured. But if the panel has scratches then it is not acceptable. No. Not to me.
And a panel with visible scratches on it cannot be considered functionally good either well at least not by a good brand, with a tagline as Life s Good .

Life is certainly not good when you spend such a high amount on a new TV and it looks like an old TV in less than a month, for no fault of ours.

Once again, I hope that you would re-consider your decision about the panel. I am not sure whom to contact about this matter as the customer support was of no help.
I would be really disheartened to find no one at LG, willing to hear me out and I would be forced to return the TV (in which case, I would also be forced to make my disappointment with LG, loud and clear, to as many people I can).

Do Not buy from LG Ever. Their customer service is horrible. Sent an item in for a repair. They repaired it and only placed half of my stuff back in the box. I have been contacting them to get my items back or a replacement. Its been nearly 2 and a half months and I still am without my items. I am unable to use my device until the replacement comes. I have spoken to several "customer service rep" and they were not able to to help me with a part that I needed.for my microwave. Its very absurd that they have most of the parts available and the one I need is no longer in existance as per their research.
I ask to speak to a supervisor who did not help much and even hanged up the phone when I asked her for her name and to speak to a person above her.

No refund, they say they have to make TWO MORE "attempts" to repair the unit and that the first 4 visits count as one. I will think twice before ever buying another LG product. I bought an LG french-door refrigerator and immediately went to the hospital for prolonged heart surgery. While I was hospitalized and in rehab the refrigerator just sat there. When I finally got home I stripped the plastic film off the refrigerator and discovered LG had made an error in assembling it; the had put two different doors on. The embossed design on each door failed to match the other.

I called and went through days and days worth of delays and shifts from person to person before they finally told me they would not make the correction because the error was only cosmetic.

Of course it was cosmetic! They made a mistake and now they won't correct it. I will now write directly to the president of LG but I don't expect a dishonorable company like this will ever do me any good.

I switched from GE to LG and boy I wish I hadn't. After 2 years to almost the day the compressor failed. Bought from best buy and bought service plan. What a waste of money. They were able to schedule an appointment immediately the next day. Tech said was compressor woul have saturday and would call Monday to schedule. He called around 5:15 after waiting all day. I called back to which he never called me back. I called again only to find his VM was full. I then called LG on Wednesday and they said oh he is scheduled for 1 - 5 Thursday (next day) I said OK so I miss work to be home. Did they show up or call - NO!!!! It has been now over two weeks since they have had the part in their possession and still no service. Called today as told them what was intermittant is now full on broken. Now getting dry ice to keep food in fridge from spoiling and do they care - NO . I was scheduled for appt on 3/15 8 to 12 per tech and then LG tells me AFTER I call that is is Friday in the afternoon. Really I have committments on Friday. No call from tech no one. Only way I knew was I called. Save yourself aggravation and buy GE.

Nothing short of horrible, I have been unable to use my new induction range for almost 10 months. I have made just under 25 calls to customer service, have arranged for 5 separate service calls where the same parts were repeatedly replaced. Authorized technical declared the unit DOA 4 months ago and LG actually sent the same technician back again to make the same call! This whole thing is like bad comedy movie. A asked the LG Executive Customer Service Rep. if anyone understood the "Definition of Insanity" she said maybe not. We keep going round and round, LG keeps spending thousands on service calls and parts and just doesn't know when to give up. They have managed to take a real LG supporter and turn me into the enemy. Nice Going. The whole LG story has been a running joke for family and friends who visit. Anyone want to buy an induction range cheap!

It went defective because their product was made cheap, they won't honor their own warranty. Why do I need the receipt if it's still within a year of manufactured date? Terrible terrible.

I will no longer buy any of their products due to their customer service people and their "Warranty". I recently had my defective LG tones switched. Since I bought them at AT&T and they had to switch them out and the recent receipt says warranty exchange. I can longer have LG switched them out because my receipt say zero dollars. HELLO LG!!! They do a 1 yr one time warranty exchange. Get the memo... The new ones suck, so bad, and now you have the customer service to match. Never buy another LG product again, nor will I sell it.

I explained I had children and mother with Alzheimer and diabetic, they kept to their script. Please if you are having problems, report to Better Consumer and Better Business bureau. LG shipped me a replacement part. 2d was a no-show and no-call. 3d service call fixed the frige for 2 hours, but didn't use the replacement part LG sent (took it with him). 4th service call gave me a service window of 8am to 5pm, was a no-show, no call back. After cancelled appointments (by them) they finally came out.. the guy with A&E couldn t find the part number for the broken valve and said he would find out the number the next day and order it. I called today and found out it was never ordered. Been on the phone with them and now LG for over an hour. Purchased this washer and dryer set on 12/2/2020 at Home Depot as was told due to the pandemic there would be a delay in delivery. I was fine with that and wouldn't be delivered until January 23 2021. I received an email now stating it would be February 23 2021, we were very disappointed, but we dealt with it. After dealing with a laundromat for weeks and the set arrived! The technician set it all up for us and went on his way. My wife was so excited to finally wash cloths at home! Well after getting one load washed it died, no power at all, thats it, dead. Now they insult my intelligence by asking me to make sure there is power to the outlet, check the GFCI and circuit breakers which I already performed. Still they had to send someone out to verify, OMG! I finally got Home Depot to order up a new replacement washer, now there is a delivery date of March 20th 2021. Well guess what, I received an email saying my new delivery date of April 10th 2021. This is not all Home Depot's fault, its mostly LG for not making a quality product and not keeping up with supply and demand. Now its back to the freaking laundromat until the replacement finally arrives.

I purchased a $1200 refrigerator 6-1/2 years ago. In two years the automatic ice-maker failed. Now the compressor has failed and it will cost us more to fix it than the refrigerator cost in the first place.

I have a 15 year old Fridgedair in the garage, subject to high temperatures in the summer (Los Angeles area) and it still works. Previously I had a General Electric for almost 25 years and never had a problem. I sold it for a bigger unit and it obviously still worked.

To all who are seeking to buy an LG refrigerator I will keep this short. STOP AND DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LG!!!!!! I have been without my refrigerator LG for almost 4 months and LG customer service is horrible!! They do not care about their customers and have been dragging out a repair since the beginning. Finally an LG certified technician came out to repair my refrigerator and they are saying it is irreparable. I contacted LG for a replacement and LG says we need to send out a different technician to re-evaluate. I even spoke with their so called executive team and they were rude, uncaring and basically didn t care about my situation. My office staff has been emailing LG back and forth about a defective HBS-760 Bluetooth headset.
LG has refused to honor their own manufactures warranty.
The left ear piece does not work on the headset.
We notified LG via email, they directed us to fill out a form online, then LG refused to replace device, indicating that there was not a date on the purchase receipt, when there was actually a date on the receipt.
This has grown to the point where now it is a matter of principle.

Purchased an LG Refrigerator in Sept of 2017 from Best Buy for $3000. We stayed with LG Warranty as we had LG appliances before and they were never a problem. In late March of 2020 we came home to a mess on our kitchen floor. All of the $500 worth of steaks and other food had totally defrosted and had to be tossed. We started to contact LG but all we got was excuses that Covid would not let them do anything about it. We wanted to get warranty coverage on the unit but we have not been able to get anyone to our home to even look at it. At least three separate case numbers were issued. After attempting and failing to get a national service company to do something one agent said we should try to get it fixed locally. We tried two vendors that refused to touch the unit saying they did not want to get involved with LG. We went to Best Buy and talked to the manager who was a complete nothing, not wanting to do anything but give us an 800 number. So much for buying anything from them.

Finally we got a reply saying they would give us a settlement. It was not going to cover replacing the food we lost but we accepted according to their directions. We were told that we would hear within three business days. That was over two months ago. We have called and been left on the line for over two hours before they hung up on us. We sent many emails to customer service and they have gone unanswered. We are at a loss as senior citizens that have gone without a refrigerator all during this Covid period. Don't ever buy LG is all we can say.

I purchased an LG Oven, after 3 months we received the oven and it had significant damage on the left side and 4 vents on the back of the oven. The delivery personnel gave me the LG customer support phone number and said to call to set up the damage allowance. I called the LG Customer Support phone number the same day and an automated message picked up and I would be on hold for 2 hours or more, no one ever answered. I made 10 phone calls over several weeks and only got this automated message and was put on hold for hours but no answer. Finally several weeks later a real person answered, she made some allowance offers and we agreed on a $304 damage allowance. The person said it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. I never received the check. Since then I have talked to 6 different people at different times and I receive different information every time I call, I've heard I can see where the amount was approved so I will get it processed, I've heard it's not in the system so corporate will need to investigate, I've heard it's not in the system so corporate will call you about it (they never did) I've heard it's in process and should be there in 6-8 weeks, I've heard it's been sent and you will have it this month, I've heard it's not in the system many times even though the people I talk to say they are entering my info in the notes. None of this information was accurate, I still have not received the damage allowance, and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire 54 years. The last call I made today said it's been too long since the oven was delivered so the check would not be processed at all, it's has been too long because LG has some serious customer support and follow-up issues. I will never purchase an LG product of any kind again, lesson learned. I have never dealt with such an in-effective company and I regret purchasing this brand. Buyer Beware!

The dual screen door is broken, I sent the dual screen to LG for a warranty repair. LG customer service inform me they cannot repair my dual screen due to a crack at the bottom of the case. Hundreds of dollars of food wasted. Garbage product. The absolute worst customer service ever. Do NOT buy LG Kitchen Appliances. My 3 month old microwave caught on fire. LG wants to replace just the plastic pieces that were on fire in the microwave. Probably a $5 part. Obviously, it is still under warranty. I have escalated with their Safety Department. I want a replacement. If it caught on fire once, what is to ensure me it will not happen again and it could be more damage the next time. After android upgrade to the latest, they change the wallpaper and provided only two wallpaper options where you do not need to register into their website. One wallpaper option makes everything looks beige and the other is a bit better but the screen color still looks terrible. Went into one of the phone stores and the new phones and the colors on their phones all look terrible compare to even the cheaper Brands. Call Smart-world support and they pass the BUCK to LG world. If I could rate this firm at a minus 5 I would. I had been a loyal fan purchasing 5 flat screens and two washers and dryers in the last five years. I recently moved into my new construction where there were installed a new lg washer and dryer model no 4370. There is a reason they have discontinued this model. The washer leaves the clothes soaking wet since the spin cycle does not work and the dryer does not dry the clothes. It also burned a queen size comforter when they advertised it would take a king comforter. When I reported this to the appliance store they just shrugged which will be the subject of a later review. So I filed a complaint with Better Business and they said your policy is to have a repairmen first. This still does not address the issue that the units do not accommodate a king size comforter. Then the firm has a local appliance store have you sit around all day only to be told they have to reschedule. One of the ear plug seemed to be defective. So I called LG customer service and after speaking to a representative and than to a John who was her supervisor I was told that Ebay was not an authorized dealer and they would not repair my headset. I asked how was a customer suppose to know who was authorized to sell LG? Where was that information available to a buyer? He had no answer. The slow release value on the door broke. Allowing the door to come crashing down on my foot. The right side panel feel off. To make matters worse when I called their customer service they gave me the wrong information and made me miss a whole day of work waiting around for their company to come and take a look at a 3 week old dishwasher that broke. In June 2016 i purchased an LG refrigerator model # LSXS26366S and it has stopped cooling as of 08/20/2018, a little over 2 years from the purchase date. I proceeded to contact LG customer service and their representative stated that i needed to pay $125.00 for the home visit plus $250.00 repair fee per item that needs replacing; however, the compressor was under warranty as per representative own's statement which led me to believe that LG knows about these defective issues with their inverter linear compressor. I also called some local technicians where i live and one of them confirmed my suspicions, LG has a known of this ongoing issue with their compressor and it is not doing much to fix these issues they are actually making a profit off a defective problem with their compressors. They are charging the customer to fix something they know is already defective.

While not uncommon, this company has the worst experience, as well as the rudest people I've ever come in contact with. After only a few moments on hold I was connected to a woman that couldn't speak English. After being put on hold for 42 minutes, I was simply disconnected. My $2800 LG refrigerator stopped making ice after 1.5 YEAR. LG customer rep stated that it would need to be repaired by a technician and submitted the repair service for me 3 WEEKS LATER. I had to take a day off from work without pay to wait for the technician. Technician had never showed up on the scheduled date. I had to contact LG customer representative again. They said it was probably the service cancelled and withdrew from performing the service. There was no communication from LG about it. They gave me another phone number to call to schedule a new service. I called that number and was told to call back again on the next day to schedule my appointment since the new service provider would need approval from LG for the costs of labor and mileage reimbursement. It is such a big hassle and poor customer service, as well as warranty service from a big company likes LG. I own several luxury LG appliances, but I will not purchase anything from LG again. On May 5th, 2020, I bought an LG refrigerator (LRFXS2503S) Home Depot, and two weeks later the ice maker, water dispenser, and freezer stopped working. I immediately contacted Home Depot and informed them of the issue, however, they told me that because 48 hours had passed I needed to contact the LG service center. I contacted LG who then agreed to send a technician to my home to look at the fridge. Needless to say, three LG technicians checked the fridge three different times but could not rectify the issue; each technician that looks at the fridge gave me a different diagnosis. For instance, the first technician told me that space, where I had the refrigerator, was too small which was preventing proper airflow, the second one told me that the compressor was bad, and the third one told me that the fridge was overheating. I called LG to ask for an exchange or a refund but was told they could not help me. I called today, July 14, 2020, and on three different occasions, their representative hung up the phone on me after I waited over 20 minutes ( each time) to speak with someone. I am writing this review to warn customers to stay away from LG products because their products are bad and their customers' services are even worse.
It's very sad that I purchased a refrigerator for $2, 300, and I can't even enjoy it.

Please stay away from LG or else you will live to regret your purchase !!!!
PS. They love to apologize to customers when they write bad reviews however their apologies are very insincere and genetic ; every customer gets the same apology. Do not fall for their lame apologies; if they were sincere they would treat their customers better by making every effort possible to resolve all the complaints.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE YET. I purchased an LG TONE HBS-910 in June of 2018, it has been turned back for service in August of 2018, February of 2019, and again in June of 2019. On the last event the device was sent back to me damaged with a claim that i damaged the headset and a refusal to correct the problem. This indicates two things; One is the quality of the LG products is substandard and the other is that their ability to provide service is less than desired. It is my recommendation that all LG PRODUCTS SHOULD BE AVOIDED.

I am writing again to further continue and express how disappointed I am from LG not taking an action about my refrigerator situation. It has been a week since my last e-mail stating that my refrigerator is not working, and now it is the third week living without a working refrigerator. Two technicians were sent yesterday to my house, they were there for aprx. 2 hours trying to fix the problem for the third time. This time they left and said that they need to order a different compressor than the one they've already replaced. Now we'll have to wait another week ( the fourth week), paying for eating out every night, and sending to my kids to school with prepacked- paid meal out of my pocket.
At this point I am not interested any more with having this refrigerator in my house. It has been repaired, and major parts have been replaced too many times. I am at a point where I don't want a repaired appliance that is not even a year old. I want a new refrigerator that will work with its original parts.
