Spent 5.5 hours here and we were continuously left in the lobby for hours at a time waiting to finalize purchasing a car. Sales girl worked hard but disappeared after confirming purchase. Long process and didn t treat customers respectfully of our time.

I am a single mother. Sold my other vehicle to put money down on an Acura RDX. The sales guy, Robert Maddox was very nice but obviously does not know much about the vehicles. I spoke to him a week or so prior to coming in and then got approved for a loan. Came in and test drove the RDX and it was fine. Then when we get on the highway to take it home I can tell that the alignment was totally off. I questioned it it was the same vehicle that we had test drove and he said yes. It did not feel like it. So, I had to take it back in to get fixed after purchasing it. Then I had told him PRIOR to purchasing the vehicle that one feature that I love to use is the Apply Play and I use it on a regular bases in my Honda. So, he said that this car had it and I could not get it to work. So, now I became upset because I call them again and he has me speak to this lady named Miriam whom just gives you some spill and doesn't really listen to you and keeps saying sorry like that is going to fix the issue. She told me to take the car to a Acura dealer to get the Apply Play fixed. I was hot by then and told her that I am running around town getting this vehicle fixed that I JUST purchased and it makes no sense. I told her I wanted to give it back and she said they won't take it back. You should stand on your product. She said they can give me another vehicle or take the RDX to Acura. I ended up taking the RDX to Acura in Arlington. They said that my RDX does NOT have Apple Play on it that is why it does not work!!! So, why did Robert and Miriam send me over there for something that was not even on the RDX? Then after I told Robert, he comes sending me a list with vehicles that have it. Ummm shouldn't you have told me this PRIOR to my purchase. So then I look through the cars that they have and tried to pick something else. But then thought about it, more. This is a big purchase and I want to get what I want. I went in there to purchase a great working Acura RDX that has Apply play and I depended on my sales guy to much for the knowledge because he doesn't know much about the vehicle he sold to me and just wanted to make the sale. So I really wanted the Acura but according to the list he gave me they don't have apply play until 2019. So, I feel like I am stuck in a vehicle that I really did not want and Miriam NEVER called me back after I told her that they sent me to the dealer for something that was not even on the vehicle in the first place and then they don't have any newer RDX's in stock. So to me it was a bad experience working with Drivers select and I don't care for the way that Robert Maddox and Mirriam handled the situation (not handling anything). I work hard for my money just like all of your other customers and I want to be treated with respect as well.
Unless you're there in person, and even then, you will have zero support from customer service. Left 2-3 messages for 2 of the departments-- haven't heard back and it's been 3 months since I initially try to contact them!
I worked with a guy who was insistent on me purchasing gap insurance. I told him no a number of times until I got upset with him after the 7th time of him asking. After looking at my car, I noticed the seatbelt wasn t working correctly, and the valet key was missing. The guy was rude during the process of me insisting that the basic safety device (seatbelt) was inspected before I purchase it. The manager also agreed to replacing the valet key with the car. During the closing process of the paperwork, the manager signed a document stating they will provide this key. A month later I have not received it. I called the customer care number 2 weeks ago. They stated that they would return a phone call within 24 hours. The following week I have not heard anything from them, so I contacted sales who stated they would replace the key. A man transferred me to a managers voicemail. I left a message and have not received a call back. I called the care center again (now 2 weeks later of me originally contacting them). No returned phone call. I noticed on here, that the person answering dissatisfied customers directed them to email the care canter. So I did that a couple days ago still no response. My experience has been similar to others. Once this place sells a car, you mean nothing to them. The care center is a joke, and the person answering these reviews is trying to make the company look good. At first when I met the sales person who hounded me about the gap insurance, I assumed it was a bad apple in what appeared to be a solid, trustworthy company. It turns out, this company is not that great in customer service in general. They promise things and do not follow through. Once you re finished with the car transaction, you mean nothing to them. Update: I received a call from this company a day after posting this review. I appreciate them following through with what they promised. They wanted me to pay for the key upfront and they would reimburse me. Based off of other people s experience, I did not feel comfortable doing this. I told them to organize it with the local dealership - which should have been the 1st thing they suggested. Like other people on here, and on their better buisness bureau page, people have to be persistent and create a big deal out of the situation to get what they promised. It s sad it had to get to the point of leaving a bad review to get attention.
I have a We Owe paper from driversselect since Mar9 for a tire replacement. After many times contacting the sale person and customer care, all I was told is someone will contact me regarding to the replacement. Then I never freaking received any calls and that piece of paper is only valid for 30 days.
Went to DriverSelect after taking a prior appointment for a test drive of a vehicle and realized that the salesperson gave preference to another customer rather than a customer on appointment and did not inform me that another buyer is already in the process of buying the car although I was in touch with him over the call. I feel that there is no customer value here. However the place looks good and they have lot of good cars.
Could I make this a negative number? They came out and tried to tell me that a car that was priced at 15,400 was going to cost 20,400. They threw in a bunch of junk. Very clean dealership that has shady practices. Don t waste your time. This is an old fashioned dealership with a new disguise.
My daughter had been dealing with Amanda Cyrus, internet sales manager and Rovaunti Lewis, sales person for several days. She was bringing their own lender so many emails went back and forth including a copy of the cashiers check for payment. An hour and a half into the 5 hour drive, we get a call from our bank saying that they had sold the vehicle we had a 5pm pick up on the same day. We immediately called and were finally connected with Jay. He apologized and said that they had a lot of work to do as they dropped the ball on this one. He said he wanted to do what he could but wouldn t come off of a similar vehicle $3000 to make the sale and correct their mistake.. He said he would send her some compensation for her time and gas spent driving to what ended up being a trip to Shreveport. Never again would we choose to deal with this dealership. It was the most unprofessionally run place, and now we have no vehicle.
Appointment due to covid 19 but waiting over an hours to talk sales Why do we need of appointment if waiting over an hours anyway If you have day off and willing to skip lunch and dinner this place for you
Horrible service, they take forever...Also be aware that if you place a deposit on a car and change your mind, they will hang on to your deposit for up to seven days.
Horrible experience. How they allow staff (marcelio) to be rude, uneducated about the product, unprofessional, I can t figure it out. After going through days of trying to get drivers select to provide information to our credit union, they sent us what they call an invoice and when I called back to arrange to pick up the car, they informed me it was sold. They offered to take $500 off a higher price car only to discover had dents scratches and the wheels were messed up.
Stay away from these guys....very unprofessional. Fake reviews are helping them. First of all they charge $500 on the list price as accessory fee (some sort of fee for reconditioning the car). They wont let you pick your own financing companies and ask you to re-finance after buying from them. Force you to buy protection plan for $2900 and if you say no their behavior changes towards you. Wasted my 2 evening and very disappointed.
This place's customer service is literal hot garbage. It's a shame because their business model is strong - sell used cars no more than 3 years old with no more than 30,000 miles at competitive prices. But there's always a catch, right? To put it lightly, this place is a cattle call. The sales manager or whoever you work with is often juggling 3-5 customer groups at a time, so it's not uncommon to wait for 45 mins to an hour. Additionally, you are forced to use their financing options, which are no small percentage higher than most places. Gotta get those kickbacks, am I right?? When we expressed interest in leaving after they wouldn't budge on the price, the sales rep insisted on bringing out a finance guy to "explain the numbers for us". Boy what a condescending "gentleman" he was. After trying to wheel and deal us with his slick tactics to no avail (getting more forceful, aggressive, and angry with each minute we talked), he abruptly rose out of his seat, bid us a snarky "adieu", and left. So did we, and we went a few miles down the road and got the same vehicle, 2018, with no miles for about $2000 more, which we happily spent on a customer service team that was happy to have our business. In short, I wish I had visited this place 0 times instead of once.
Sold me a Lemon, and not willing to help me out at all with trading it for an equal vehicle! Very difficult to work with when i went to pick up the car as well... Gave me lots of trouble even though all paper work was already completed and signed
This place has horrible customer service and shady sales tactics. Be wary of the car you are looking at. All cars are stated to have clean car facts and pass a 190 point inspection. However many of these cars have costly issues that they try to get you to look over with aggressive pricing. After finding a car that I was ready to purchase, i took it for a test drive and noticed issues with the breaks, rotors and alignment. After spending hours at the car lot they agreed to have their mechanics fix the issues and would call me tomorrow when the car was ready. I had to reach out to them in order to get updates and stated that i wanted a heads up when it would be almost finished so i could leave work early to finalize the purchase. The salesman originally told me that it might not be done until the end of the day or the following day. Instead they called me after it was coming out of the shop and advised me not to put a deposit down on the car until i got there. After taking off of work early and driving 45 mins towards the lot, they called me when i was 15 minutes away to tell me they sold the car. Absolute waste of my time and completely unprofessional.
Cars are sold to whoever pays more!!! First time I went there the carfax report said the car didn't gave any accidents but when I opened one of the doors I saw the spray marks of a recent paint job. The 2nd time I went I made an appointment but the salesman was helping 2 other people at the same time. After making my mind I was told I can pay with a debit card for the whole price. I found out later that this is not possible because banks set a daily limit for buyings of around 3K unless you call your bank to ask for authorization. Mine takes like 4 hours to do this. So I placed a hold by paying $500 for 24 hours. The next day I was thinking to use a cashier check so I reached the salesman to get some info. And he told me the car was sold. This got me to the conclusion that since I didn't buy one of the extra warranties and dent program that they offer, they sold the car to someone that bought them even when I placed the car on hold. And their prices plus the warranty programs and dent program are the same as their competitors prices or even higher. Be aware!!!
Not sure where to start, the experience was not what what I expected. We drove 4 hours to find the car we wanted and upon arrival, our sales rep Tommy was nice and ready for us to get in and get out without a hassle. We got there at 1030 and didn t leave until 5 in the evening. Documents are all mixed between buyer and co signer, numbers did not match up, and the wait was even more annoying. He did not sit or explain anything for us and a majority of the time he was on his phone talking to friends it sounded like. Maybe it was just the sales rep but that location seemed more of place for rookie car salesmen. He lacked customer service and literally does not care or make it comforting for the customers. Just get there, get the car, and get out seemed like the vibe we got. I highly do not recommend going to buy a car here unless you know exactly how it works. Currently considering returning the car and finding a different company that will work with us better.
I am giving DriversSelect 1 star because they have deceptive business practices! I bought from them, because they had a fair price on a vehicle I liked. That is the only positive about my purchase, because I bought it out of state, they told me by law that I had to license it through them. There was a $259 delivery fee and $150 document fee and that was all that I would pay (above the vehicle and actual license fee from Arkansas). They charged me more $14.50 state inspection (but I don't live in TX) $16.61 dealer inventory tax, $79.98 process fee for out of state (Didn't I just get charge $150 for document fee ? FRAUD) and they still over paid the sales tax to Arkansas, so they say I have to speak to the DMV to get that money back. I love my car, but DriversSelect is deceptive, lying and will not take responsibility for their actions. I have given them 2 weeks to compromise on a settlement and they would not budge. Look for my posts on every outlet.
The car dealer was talking about financing before I even picked out a vehicle and I came in considering to pay all cash. He was polite but didn't know how to work the computer very well and I had to us my own phone to pick out the three vehicles I wanted to look at. Then they made a hard hit inquiry on my credit before telling me what my trade-in value was for my vehicle. Which was $3,500 less than what the other dealership was willing to offer. They told me it was only a light inquiry when they were running my credit, turns out it was a hard inquiring.
WOW....I simply called the Grand Prairie location to see if a vehicle was still sitting on the lot before I drove over an hour to look at it with plans to purchase. Lisa answered the phone and abruptly put me on hold. JC then answered was an absolute jerk. He refused to look the car up and asked if I was married to it. I stated yes, because I ve been researching vehicles for several months for some particulars that are specific to this one I found. He stated then it would be there. I asked if I could give him the stock number to look it up and he said oh you have to do this 90% something or another and pay $500. I stated I had no problem doing that after I looked at the car, which I just wanted to know if was on his lot specifically. He got extremely rude with me and stated, you re not married to it and we have plenty on our lot and we don t hold cars. . I wasn t asking him to hold a vehicle, just confirm before I wasted my time. I finally said forget it....If others choose to do business with people that rude just know there are WAY BETTER PLACES WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. (My husband happened to be on 3-way and said oh hell no we aren t being treated this way...and he s in the car world) SO...Mr JC...you just lost 3 sales because we had 3 vehicles to buy today but the only specific one to confirm was mine. I hope management gives you some training for your actions or fires you for making their business look bad.
I was very disappointed by the lack of integrity with DriverSelect for two reasons. 1. They do not allow any outside financing, which is not uncommon, but is still very controlling. I did my own research for the best interest rate and went to the dealership pre-approved for an excellent interest rate at a local credit union. I prefer to make my own choices about financing, but they would have none of that. I was required to use their finance companies at a higher interest rate, and then I could refinance with my preferred finance company if I wanted my better pre-approved rate. This seems like a hidden agenda. Maybe DriverSelect is more of a finance company than a car dealership. I want to know who I'm actually doing business with. Are they a car dealership or a finance company? It's not clear. 2. I went to DriverSelect to test drive a vehicle which was advertised at a very good price and with impressively low miles, but they could not find the car anywhere on the lot or elsewhere. They asked if I wanted to see a different car, but nothing else compared as well to the good deal I went in to get. I would have gladly purchased the vehicle if they had found it. I think this was a classic case of "Bait & Switch." They get you into their dealership for what you think is an awesome good deal, then they try to sell you something more expensive. This practice is very dishonest and manipulative. This same vehicle is still being advertised. It's the very popular 2018 Rav4 LE with only 15,300 miles on it. A week later, I got emails that the price dropped from $18,689 to $18,449. However, I don't think they have this car, otherwise it would have sold by now. They are persisting with this "Bait & Switch." This is my personal opinion based on my experience. Decide for yourself. You've been warned. Consider yourself warned. If you go to DriverSelect, don't be surprised if you end up spending more money than you had planned to spend.
Thanks for all of your reviews. I was considering buying a vehicle here. Customer Service is very important to me. It s very important to treat your customers the same even after they purchase a vehicle from you. I need to be able to speak to someone incase there is an issue.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Un trained staff and very slow salespeople. I arrived ready to purchase three vehicles - left 3 hrs later due to sales person disappearing. Only spent 15-20 min with sales person.
I've purchased two vehicles from them, and the actual process, price and quality of cars are just fine, it's the follow-up that's horrendous. I've been trying for over 4 months to get the forms I need for a totalled vehicle. I've called and left messages, nothing. I've emailed, finally got a reply, told it's through accounting, but I couldn't reach out to them directly. They said they would pass info along and that's been well over a month and nothing. I had to reach out to a former salesperson to contact a manager for me and still nothing. If this is how they treat customers, I don't plan on purchasing any more vehicles from them.
These people are crooks, they took my down payment and I never got the car. I tried calling Vance left message after message after he promised that I would get my down payment of 1500.00 back, they couldn't get financing for the car. They have hung up in my face, the people who were so nice in the beginning now turned into rude and evil people, I don't have a car nor my down payment on the car...
Don't be prepared with your own financing. They won't take it. Waste of time.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Purchased a LEXUS and the battery died 3 days later. Still waiting for a refund since the car is under 30 days limited warranty. NOBODY seems to care. Left voice mail, sent email and no reply!!! Way to go ECHO PARK! Never buy another car from you ever again!
Horrible. I was lied to by a sales agent that my vehicle came with a second key. He assured me over and over that it came with one and when I left with the car he sent me an email saying it never had a second key, sorry . I ve contacted drivers select managers and even the head person of customer care and I was informed they would take care of it and my key was ordered October 2nd and would take 5-7 business days to come in. It s November 5th and nothing. I ve tried reaching out and no one at customer care answers the phone and Wesley (the head person of customer care) doesn t return calls. Super disappointed over something that could ve easily been avoided. Won t recommend anyone here.
I had purchased a 2016 Chevy malibu from them a couple years back. My sales guy was Mark Fink at their Dallas location. Everything for the most part was perfect. I was in and out with a new car quickly. Now for the one star review... i spoke to Mark and explained to him I was not interested in their extended warranty from the beginning. I explained this to him SEVERAL times. In the end he understood and he didn t mention it again. Our preview contract had no mention of any extended warranty. Since my husband was the one getting the car under his name I left to get my kids something to eat. My husband signed the contract and we left. On our way home I decided to look at the contract and to my surprise yay! Mark had added all of the warranties he kept annoying us about. I called him right away and he apologized for what he did. He straight up admitted to lying to us. Our loan went up from 19k to 24k due to all of the extended warranties he added. After looking at their reviews at several sites I noticed they were notorious for this. I still have the messages saved on my phone from where he was explaining to me how to cancel the warranties. I had never experienced anything like this prior to this situation. Please look over you final contract because this dealership will do anything to get you to buy the extra warranties. I forgot to add that their Regions bank we financed the car with lost a $2,000 payment we made. They didn t allow us to have online banking because we wouldn t open a checking account with them. I was forced to drive to nearby towns to make the car payments. It was either that or pay by mail. Thank God I paid at the bank because I was able to have proof of my payment. After they harassed us for non payment we emailed them a copy of our receipts and just like that the calls ended. I never got a call back or a response to my email to find out what happened to my money in the first place. So much for the perfect car buying experience.
Hello! This is the 7th time I am reaching out to you regarding the missing part that was also listed in the purchase agreement. At least some feedback should be provided on my queries but nothing at all. Are you guys done after selling the car? Customer satisfaction does not matter at all? What about the commitment from the sales person during the car purchase agreement? This is my first deal with driverselect and it didn t went well I guess. I am pretty sure this is definitely will affect the future customer and the internet review of your business. VIN: KNMAT2MT3HP583839 Nissan Rogue 2017 Purchase Date: 6/4/2020 Missing Part: Nissan SD Card for Navigation
Like many other low reviews that Driverselect has gotten on here, I got the same poor experience. I arrived there and test drove cars. Everything was going pretty smoothly, but once I tried to purchase the car, my agent became rather distant. He took all my information but due to difficulties in their system, I could not continue with my purchase. I was told that he would send me my quotes and financing information. He did not send anything or reach out to me. Called him the next day to remind him about the purchase and he told me he would call me back in 5min. He did not call me back. The day after that, the reception followed up with me and I requested about the purchase. While she promised me to have my agent contact me, you can probably guess, nothing materialized. This has been the most frustrating dealer I have ever dealt, and it is a shame for a company to treat its guest like this.
They are the slowest and most unorganized place I've ever seen.
Watch out. The prices are low, the trade value is decent, but the deception is hidden in the fees and warranties. If they add any weird fees, ask the salesperson/manager to remove it, and if they don't then walk away. This review would likely have been avoided if someone named "Amanda" did not avoid responding to customer email or phone calls she's not interested in.
Called ahead to set up looking at a vehicle, person on phone said no appointment necessary just show up . Came in to look at a vehicle and was informed that without an appointment I had to wait 30 plus minutes. Informed to please wait and someone will be with us. We felt like we were being placed in the cattle-call wait system. Thanks for wasting our time, we will purchase our vehicle elsewhere.
I went in to see their inventory of Mercedes Benz GLE 350 they had one 2017 great mileage, they said no accidents, one owner, the salesman brought it around, I immediately went around the SUV and stopped in my tracks at the trunk, and said is this a misfit suv, I must be being punk d or the car had some kind of damaged to the door to the trunk!! Here s why I asked below.
Don't do it; a lot of cosmetic problems and bad service !
Horrible service. I have a family friend that drove from midland to grand prairie to purchase a vehicle, the salesperson robert was a complete rude, disrespectful individual. Wouldn't shake their hand and acted as if just because they wouldn't take the deal they were first offered that they were ignorant. They wanted a 5 year loan and they kept trying to push a 3 year. They left. With no vehicle. They had a customer with perfect credit that works out in the oil boom with plenty of income to spare, and they were treated poorly.
This place has a great variety of cars. My actual care buying experience was great. Roberto was very patient. However once i got the car I have experiencecd the worst customer service yet. This place does not return calls, they do not email back. When and if you call and choose the selection for purchase-someone answers right away. I have waited for a Kyle , a Yana to call back for weeks. Not only are they terrible with communication, no refunds, follow up with the company they work with Ally auto. You can check out their cars, but buy knowing you will have the worse nightmare with paperwork and cutomer service. I would give a zero if available.
I contacted them about purchasing a reasonably priced vehicle and intended to trade my car in on it. I was called by the salesman to advise me that they had worked out the deal but were only able to give me $XXXX for my trade in. I could not hang up on him fast enough!! I have a KBB written offer for my car and they were trying to offer me HALF of what that offer was!! It was beyond insulting and they must have mistaken me for some "clueless female". Now I can see one of the ways they keep their prices "low"... because obviously they aren't paying anything out! Will NEVER contact them again no matter what their prices are! I'm not that desperate!!
While the inventory is huge, prices are good and price offered for my trade in was also good, the dealership did not do what they promised to. To make a long story short, I came in knowing exactly what I wanted. I asked the sales staff if I could see and test drive the vehicle and the salesman went to look for the vehicle. He couldn t find it and it took him nearly 45 mins to track down the vehicle. I was patient and waited and was finally able to test drive the truck. After doing so I was 99% sure I wanted to purchase so I asked to see the vehicle again. Well after another 30 mins or so of trying to track down the truck he came back and said one of their staff crashed the truck when they moved it and they would have to send it to the body shop. They promised that they would give me a call when it was done and I could come look at it and have first chance to buy. Well the phone never rang so I called a few weeks later to inquire about the truck only to find out that they had sold it to someone else...Needless to say I was and still am very unhappy. Dealership is not honorable to their word!
I bought a audi A4 2015 model almost two years ago. The car looked in excellent condition and it had no accident reports. After 7/8 months I could notice on the side front bumper the paint peeling off. I thought maybe a small rock hit the side and caused it peel but the peeling kept going in three different areas until I decided to take it somewhere to re paint. They said it was a bumper accident and the dealership should've noticed bc there were significant repair signs from the hood and side door.. I am really frustrated and very disappointed to trust the dealership with a 24G investment. Despite the car running perfectly I wouldn't recommend this dealership one bit.
Had to wait more than 4 hours to test drive 1 car. They lost my license and handled the situation very unresponsibly. Later found the license on the table and the way they acted was little weird. They don t value our time. Won t recommend anybody.
Called the sales guy an hour before leaving and let him know the exact car I was coming there for. Am hour later we get there and wait for almost an hour he comes back to tell me it's on hold. No due diligence or ability to do their homework to answer customers accurately on whether a car is available or not.
I came in 5/28/20 to inquire about a specific vehicle I found on Facebook marketplace & online (their website), they told me to go check on their computers that show available stock just to make sure it was still available. After I successfully found the vehicle I wanted in their stock I kept trying to flag down employees to find out what my next step in the process would be with no luck (many employees walked by and never once acknowledged not only myself but a few customers in the lobby). It was close to closing so I figured ok they just want to get home, I don t blame them (still trying to be courteous). I walked up to the desk and the first thing the guy at the desk asked was if I had just arrived because at that point they were already closed. I explained to him I was asked to look through the inventory on one of the computers and then I tried to get the attention of an employee for awhile with no luck and informed him that I had no problem with coming in the next day I just really wanted to get the ball rolling and see what I needed to have all my ducks in a row to expedite the process and make it easy on everyone. He then referred me to a salesman who then came to speak to me and told me he would text or email me the site to apply online that same night so that we could be prepared to buy Friday. Thursday night I waited and never received the email, Finally on Friday I received the email and went on to apply right away. I text him and informed the application was done and he responds with letting me know he would start working on it. I few hours later with no response I contacted the salesman and ask for the status and he says he was sorry but got busy but they were currently working on numbers and again he would get back to me. I said ok and informed I had taken the day off thinking I would be able to get this taken care of ASAP again he says I ll get back to you. Here I find myself 3 days later still waiting and they are closed today so I definitely won t get a response today, tomorrow will be my 4th day since I made my initial point of contact with no response. If I did not qualify or whatever the case is FINE but at least have the audacity and professionalism to reach out to your customers to inform them of the outcome!
Came from Ohio. Before leaving I asked several people several times to send detailed pictures showing any defects in and out. I kept asking if the paint was swirled. The salesman generally left a bad taste in my mouth, treating me as if I wasn't a serious buyer and they are so busy..whats the big deal it's just a car purchase...they sell so many and have so many sales people. So he assured me none of thier cars have any damages. He promised me that if there was any issue it would be corrected before I left. I called back to get a different salesman who verified that was the policy. I would not do the $500/24hr non refundable deposit bc I now had an icky feeling...and they require you apply for financing first...drove all weekend for the suv of my dreams...bc I didn't want to lose it now(even though it sat there for a month) Got there and the paint was swirled, crusty stains on the headliner and pitted rotors. Felt a weird vibration in brakes...which I think was the actuator after googling. Ok..time to make it right, right. Wrong. The manager and service manager all claimed nothing was wrong, the car was in perfect condition. As in I'm just some crazy little lady...what do I know...(enough to.not buy it) Not fixng it. So I price out repairs ...tell them I need that much off the price...not to mention a good buffing out. No go...they are losing money on the car. So I told them they will lose even more on it bc it's gonna sit. left and found a great dealer that got me a brand new 2018, same trim level at the same price... minus the sunroof. So glad I walked out.
These people a joke.. We test drove a GMC Terrain the left us setting so we tried to call so we left them a text explaining why we were leaving. We were. Very interested in the car . We explained that the brakes and rotors were bad on the back. I told them to correct this give me a call that I was still interested in the car. No calls no apologies no nothing from these people I would never ever buy anything from them they are very unprofessional
Sketchy, rude, & unprofessional predators. Stay far away from this place.
I made an inquiry about a vehicle via internet and received a text message from Josh. I did not respond to the text until I received a second text. The second text said do you want me to remove you from the list, we usually only get customers who are serious about purchasing. I responded to ensure Josh I was serious about purchasing and that I had already received financing through my bank and that he could remove me for their list. He responded we didn t take outside financing. If that is the type of customer service given to a potential client I doubt that it gets any better.
They make you buy extra plans and alot of unnecessary things
They charged my debit card TWICE for the remainder of the DOWN PAYMENT of the car (paid in cash also). How do you accidentally charge that amount to someone's card. One of my two keys did not work with my car also. Also very unapologetic. Knew I was a first time buyer but provided very little information. Definitely would not suggest for a first time buyer. Basically the person who was handling me was handling multiple people at once so all interactions with me were very very rushed IF he did remember I was there. Basically take your papers and keys and go. Did not explain ANYTHING. Car was not cleaned and I found sticky stuff on all windows and some weird stuff in my perforated leather. Was just tired of contacting them so I stopped. Talked me into warranty and gave me 0 information on it. Just 0 info on anything.
They are cheater. They play with number on Financial so many time.
Pathetic service. I have been trying to reach out to them for last 1 week to inquire about my car registration which I purchased from them. Left around 10 voicemails but my call has not been returned yet. Buying experience wasn't good either. Push you to buy extended warranty and other add ins.
I went in at 9 am to their location in Dallas, I got pre-qualified on Auto navigator. I went in to buy the car for the price I saw on the website and the sales person comes to me with add on like Gap, extended warranty, Accessoires that rounded up to 6000 on top of the price listed online. I told him I didn't want any of that and he still came back with the extended warranty. I told him it's optional and I don't want it. He insisted and said it comes with the car today. On top of that I wanted to finance the car for 60 months and he said you could only do 72 months so I would have a higher interest rate. Unfortunately I walked out with a horrible experience and didn't buy a car.
I went in with financing already handled from my credit union. I was looking at an SUV. I was told that they were a haggle free dealership and the price posted is what you pay. I alway think they have room if they want to sell but not in this case. I liked the SUV and then when they found out I had my own financing they where not as anxious to help me. They told me it had to be in a form of a cashiers check and not a bank draft (which is how most banks operate). Come to find out they want you to use their financing because they get a kick back from the banks they use. So I would watch out these guys they are not here to help the customer they are just here to pad their pockets. If you are not willing to work within their rules then you can not have a vehicle. I say keep your truck and I will take my my business elsewhere. I am not part of a place that tells me what financing I have to use. In this country we still have the freedom to choose.
I would never again purchase a car from driversselect, nor would I recommend anyone purchase a car here. In 2016, I purchased a fine Nissan from the dealership, but the customer service was sorely lacking - not at all what I expected from the reviews. Today, I went to trade in the car and found out it had a branded/lemon title, cutting the value in half. At no point was I informed that the car had any deficiencies. Even if 99% of their cars are fine, you don't want to be the 1% that gets stuck with a value-less vehicle.
Was an easy internet buying experience but only had the car for 2 weeks after only doing what was told by salesman. The banks and lenders ask for the same paperwork over and over and after insuring the car asked for it back 2 weeks later. There quick at selling you a car but just as quick for asking for it back even after all paperwork was signed. Just make sure the salesman knows what there talking about before you end up inconvenienced like we were. My husband is a veteran and we needed a second vehicle and heard good things about them but from the start it seemed a little to good and easy to be true.
I really want to give a higher rating, but I m currently frustrated and disappointed. I purchased a vehicle I saw online. I was excited and felt like the services went well. When I purchased the car there was a scent in it but it wasn t strong so I thought maybe they used some type of disinfectant and it will soon leave. Well after driving my car for about a week the smell got stronger. I had it checked out by a local detail shop and they found water and mildew under the rug. It takes multiple tries to reach someone by phone. Once I received a response I was asked to bring the car back in for a deeper cleaning. Then I also I wanted to know where the water is coming from as well as two other issues I discovered. I took my SUV back and they gave me a small loaner car that s too small for my family to fit in. I was told I could come back on the next business day to get another car but they know I live 2 hours away from the dealership. So I drove the car home last week. Today I still have not received a response or update on my car or when it will be ready. I ve called and left 4 maybe more messages. I finally reached someone in the sales department (they answer those calls) and he said he would have someone call me back. 45 minutes later I m still waiting. It s disappointing because no one has called to update me, I need my car for weekend traveling, I cannot schedule appointments for my job this weekend because I don t know when I will need to go pick up my car. A little communication goes a long way. It would be great if someone from the company would return my call and please give me an update on my vehicle. That s all I m asking.i think this a great place but customer service is key as well as communication.
I found 3 different vehicles I was ready to purchase and all 3 were sold before I could make it in from out of town. I wanted to make a down payment on all 3 and the sales manager never contacted me to do so. I later discovered they sold all 3 the next day. Poor service.
This is my second visit to this place. My opinion on this place changed from last time. Waited for 20 mins to talk to a sales person. Waited another 30 mins to find him again. Waited another 20 mins to look at a couple of cars. May be I got a bad sales person... Not sure if I can recommend this place any more
I found a car online that I wanted to buy but was told I couldn t unless I used their more expensive lender. We are approved through our credit union that just needs a purchase order to send all funds. Sounds very shady that they won t sell the car to someone with good credit and confirmed funds. They would rather charge you higher interest rates to sell the car. Is that even legal to advertise a car online at a price and then not honor that unless you need to use their bar credit lenders?????
This place is horrible I bought a car about 2 months ago 2018 Nissan Armada and have had nothing but problems I already had to spend hundreds even tho I got the extended warranty but with the deductibles each time I had to take it to the shop and something that was not covered I m already out $500 on a car that I have only had 2 month and if I didn t have the warranty it would be thousands. It s basically in impossible to reach customer care but after spending all day non stop calling I was able to reach someone who pretty much said sorry your 30 day warranty is up.
I was in the market for a car and I found a car in drivers select. I called a salesman to enquire about the car. I just asked one question. Is that the final price or there is any additional discounts applicable. He just hanged up the phone on my face. You might have the cheapest cars but this kind of disrespectful behavior is not welcome. I don't mind buying from a different dealership and pay a little bit more and get a better service. Beware of the disrespectful sales people here.
The worst at internet out-of-state sales! BUYER BEWARE. It s 2019 and yet they make you come into their dealership to purchase the car (in my case fly), they won t ship your car, and they don t work well with outside financing. My credit union required DriverSelect to send a copy of their Car Dealership Business License, but that was impossible.
Found a car I loved online I was willing to drive 10 hours to get it. Offered me 1500 below carmax for my trade then did a credit run with them (I have great credit) they came back with 9% interest rate. So i went to my bank got pre approval at 3% told the rep i was talking to who i wasnt't impressed with he said they won't deal with the bank or any paperwork they just want the cashiers check. Rhey treated me like I had bad credit and desperate to get their vehicle. So they wanted me to spend 37,000 and do all the work, nope. On top of 14,000 I would of spent on Their interest rate with allied and 3,000 of insurance they tried pushing even though I didn't want. Told the rep I'll take my business somewhere else he said "OK" and hung up very disapointed with them.
I went looking for a job there but after speaking with the managers for a minute or two decided I would pass. I don't think if I were a salesman there I would be embarrassed if one of my customers had to speak with one of them.
The WORSTTTT customer service!! STAY AWAY!!! I bought a car from them and the car left me stranded a couple of days later, in the middle of nowhere. I finally got it over to an OReilleys and they tested the battery, the battery was completely bad!! I bought a new battery to get home. Why they would let me drive home with a bad battery is beyond me!!!! Called customer service and left Miriam w/customer service) 4 voicemails over a two week span!! NO CALL BACK FROM HER!!! Left her another vmail letting her know I was going to hang up and just call a manager. Miriam suddenly calls me back. She asks me to scan receipts over to her. A few weeks later, UPS delivers a check to me. Only it's a check for $1500 that another customer was apparently expecting!!! I called the dealership again, ask Miriam to transfer me to a manager, she refuses to and instead sends my call to a random salesguy. Again, she did not want me to speak to a manager. It has been 39 days!!!!! NO CALL BACK FROM ANYBODY, NO ISSUE RESOLVED, ANOTHER CUSTOMER DID NOT GET THEIR CHECK & I HAVE NO RECEIVED MY CHECK EITHER!!! THIS IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO, AND IVE BEEN TO PLENTY. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE...SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE WHERE THEY VALUE YOUR BUSINESS!!!
Unfortunately my experience with drivers select was VERY AWFUL. They bate you in with the reasonable price but fail to tell you that they add by default the OPTIONAL GAP insurance and Service Contract. That alone was an additional $3,500. They also tax on BS fees. The entire experience was aweful and I did not end up buying a car from them. The salesmen Bud Zarsk is what you would picture if someone said sleazy salesmen. He lies through his teeth like if he believes his own words (liar). What I learned is if you are willing to just agree to and sign for what they sell (Service contract, GAP, high interest, extended monthly term) then you will probably have a good experience here. BUT if you want to save your hard earned money and not get the Optional Service Contract/Gap or shorten your monthly finance terms or try to get outside financing then they stop giving a $h!t about you. I have read several reviews and either everyone is rating the same 2 salesmen or they are all trained by management to be this way. The real money for them seems to be there deal with Ally which is who provides there Service Contracts. I dont think they are actually car salesmen but Service Contract/GAP insurance salesmen. That seems to be where a bulk of there profit comes from. I'm sure if I dig enough I can find a connection on why they work with Ally...possibly the 2 are owned by the same parent company. If I could give them a 0 I would but sadly they get a 1 which is 1 star higher then I want to give them.
If I could give a 0 star I would. DO NOT believe anything Jeremy Bradshaw has to say as he is just trying to get people in the door. Long story short, was told no problem we can roll ANY amount of negative equity into a car after I had explained the amount that was owed on my vehicle and how much I was upside down. So I submit my credit app to then speak to an actual sales person (very nice man named Kyle) that said no that is not the case its too much to roll in. So now I get a hit on my credit when it could have been completely avoided if he had been honest.
Very deceptive practices. Tell outright untruths and seem to prey on uninformed customers. If you do not purchase the extended warranty or utilize their financing programs, expect to be treated with total disrespect.
Wish I had four hands to five them four thumbs down. The Grand Prairie location has the rudest and most unprofessional sales people and managers. From the moment you call for an appointment, when you check in until the moment you try to make sense of the deal offered. I purchased twice from the Dallas location and they were excellent. Such a disrespecting attitude from the GP sales staff treating customers like illiterate peasants getting mad because we asked to match a warranty package deal they try to force feed you very aggressively. If you are someone trying to make sense, this is not your place. If you like Driversselect, go to the Dallas location or simply take your business somewhere else, not the GP location. Their staff knows how to treat people. Steer clear from Harry (salesman) and his manager who thinks she is Almighty God. My wife felt we were treated differently. Way to treat a US Veteran family GP!!!
Very bad customer service, I don t know how they got 4 star but they are simply lairs.
I'm actually shocked at the amount of good reviews.. I didn't think that would be the case. I'll start by saying I bought my car just over 3 months ago and absolutely love it. I was sold a great car, can't complain there. What really bothers me and has me coming back 3+ months later is their customer service. I was lied to multiple times and no one has fixed it. When I bought the car it was missing the front passenger floor mat, I was told someone probably forgot to put it back when cleaning it and the salesman said he'd have it in the car when I picked it up the next day. Next day it wasn't there. He said he'd order it from the dealership and have it in a few days. Few days go by and there answer after I have the car home is they can only give me the basic, fit all WeatherTech mat. Now I have 1 floor mat different than the rest in my Lexus. That's just 1 instance.. another? I declined all extra warranty packages and made that very obvious. Month or so later I receive a letter in the mail thanking me for signing up. 2-3 months later I get a letter stating I canceled my warranty plan. I never did any of this. I called the store multiple times, each time getting passed around to different people. I even left voicemails and received no responses. I have a few more issues but this review is getting long. In the end, you get a reliable and quality car but this business is too shady for me to do business their again.
Nope never going back. This place was as "sketch" as they get when concerning a car buying experience. Yes, we got the car we were looking for at a very good price. I had done all of the research for weeks leading up to actually contacting the location to purchase the car. Once there, we were tossed between 3 different sales people. It took over 2.5 hrs. to complete the sale & I had everything ready to go before arriving at the dealership. The car was not appropriately cleaned when we finally got it. And it only had 1/2 tank of gas in it. I read all of the reviews and figured it would be a good place to buy the car I found. Well, I do not know who these people dealt with, or what their experience was, but we had the exact opposite experience with unknowledgeable / non-customer focused sales people. Will not be going back or recommending to anyone.
After reading the reviews I immediately went to this dealership to find a new vehicle. The sales guy I got was helpful and courteous at first. After test driving a couple cars I could tell he was getting impatient. When I returned from my 3rd test drive he didn t even bother to come speak to me. He just sat at the desk in the back whispering to the guy next to him. After seeing that I just left. He didn t try to contact me or nothing. I ended up going to CarMax where I didn t feel rushed and purchased a car from them.
The initial greeting and process is great ... until it's time to talk dollars and cents. First off, you CANNOT speak directly with the finance manager so your salesperson acts as a gopher passing messages between the two of you. Secondly, DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING the salesperson tells you about the "necessary" extras; GAP insurance and an extended warranty. GAP insurance is not mandatory in Texas ($799), and the cost of their extended warranty with Ally, IS NOT "the lowest price for great coverage you will find" ($3200). Once I discovered my salesperson intentionally misled me (less than 24 hours after sale), I called back to renegotiate a more reasonable payment without those two extras and was told "no dice." You purchased it, now you have to cancel it and the $4000 you paid for services you don't need will be applied to the principle due on the vehicle; thereby taking my note from 72 months (6 yrs) down to 57 months (4 yrs, 10 mos) but at the same per month cost.
I have purchased several cars from this place in the past it was a good experience but this time It was awful. I had a refund from my GAP insurance for $2,312.51 they used $2,000 for a down payment. So I should of recieved a check for $312.51 but I only recieved a check from driverselect for $112.51 Driver Select kept my $200 saying overpayment for cancellation as down payment. Which is a bunch of bull. I talked to the people from the GAP insurance & they told me I should of gotten all $312.51. I know its not alot of money but that money was owed to me. I tried calling Driver Select left alot of msgs NO RESPONSE. So now I got a lawyer to look into it. I feel it's some shady business going on. It's official I'm done buying cars from Driver Select.
Our potential car salesman Chandler refused to let us test drive the vehicles we were interested in. His excuse was it s Saturday and we are super busy so it is hard to test drive the vehicles that you are looking for I call BS and that was so unprofessional of him, we will not be doing business with them at all!
Went in today and had a bad experience . Couple of young guys on their phone playing around . I stood there , no hi no smile no greeting what so ever , filled out the form to wait for a car and was told that the car I was there for is been used personally by the manager and he took home with it . So a really high end car is being used by the manager. Amazing .
If you dont have a 2000$ downpayment and 700 credit score dont go unless you want to be told cant help you
Worst experience ever. I don't know how these people sleep at night. Added on services not really wanted or needed, low balled me on the trade in. When I went back after 3 days they would not take the car back and wanted to trade it for something even less desirable. Not transparent, pushy and deceitful. I am still waiting on a part they owe me for this car. I am now trading the car I bought here for a new car from another dealer. He pointed out things on the car that were not listed on the car fax and that depreciated the car trade in value. Never again. Shysters selling snake oil. *** Update -- I am now having issues trying to get refunds for the gap and service warranty. I may have to get a lawyer. Worst experience ever buying a car. I did receive the part for the car I bought from them. I still feel they were not transparent and were pushy and dishonest. ***Wes W -- there is nothing you could ever do to make me feel good about this experience. It would be nice if you would take care of the Ally issue. Second email sent to Ally today regarding the refund for the warranties and gap insurance -- hoping I don't get screwed around on that deal either. Karen ***** additional update*** noticed on here the unhappy people are mad about the same issue I have -- pressure to buy the additional warranties and add ons. Also, they ran a credit on me with about 5 different lenders -- I am still getting notices -- which I had no idea. I was there for well over 5 hours and it really was a hassle. I am so sorry I ever went to this place to get a car. Have heard similar horror stories from coworkers and people that have bought there. I am hoping I get my refund for the warranties -- I only kept the car for a week -- and it has really turned me upside down on my new car - I am out about 8K thanks to Driver Select. I feel totally stupid for letting them railroad me and put me in this predicament. I feel like I may have to get a lawyer to get the money owed me back on the warranty. Beyond annoyed at this point.
$500 non refundable deposit that expires in 24 hours. You loose your deposit and the car is relisted. If your financing, it almost holds you hostage to their financing. I had my own financing with better rates and just barely made the 24 hour deadline. The fees and charges they hit you with when signing the final paper puts the price back to normal pricing. Try to back out for this reason and you loose your deposit! Horrible business practices, I'm amazed that they are as busy as they are, I won't be back. I'm embarrassed to say I bought my car there.
Easy to get in and test drive, but it took 5+ hours to close on our purchase and a product was added to our order without our permission.
I will never ever go back to this place. They have horrible customer service! I have never witnessed anything like this in my life. When you walk in they act like you are there to serve them. I felt like I was in a used car shop and was about to go to work. I was told I could look up the car I wanted to see online. If I knew what I wanted to drive I could pick 2 cars to test drive. Also you have to use there finance company. (I planned on paying cash and buying a car today for my son but... I couldn t get them to let us test drive any.) Also I was told if I didn t want to look cars up on my phone I could go walk around outside by myself. They clearly don t need my business as I was told several times that they sell a car every 10 mins. Oh and lastly if you buy a car from them you may end up with only one key. I was told that is how most of there cars come. Won t b back!!!
Purchased a truck back in August and immediately called the salesman, Kyle, to report that the tail light was cracked out and that the drivers side was not locking. He informed me customer service would be in touch. Destiny, reached out to me and informed me she was ordering the tail light for our truck and she would call us to let us know when it was in so they could replace it. Will guess what its October and we have yet to get a call and now when we try to call we never get a call back. Horrible customer service and never recommending. Go to a real dealership if you want good customer service.
If you want to have constant problems with the dealership after purchasing your vehicle then this is the place to go! We are getting collection calls from our previous bank on the car we traded in which should have been paid off by now (we purchased our new vehicle 23 days ago) and even found out weeks after getting our new car that the financing hadn't even been finalized! Good luck trying to get anyone to answer the phone...you can call and leave messages all day but don't count on anyone calling you back....GOOD LUCK!
The staff is good until you purchase the vehicle. Once you step out of the office they will never respond to your issues.
So far, my worst car buying experience, no doubt! I submitted an inquiry online for a car that I wanted, I received an email back from a sales person that the car is still available, I replied to the email with exact time that I will be arriving to test drive the car, I received a response to let them know when I m on my way so they can get the car ready for me. On my way to the dealership I reached out to the sales person and told him that I am on my way and he said excellent! So on my way to the dealership I went online to look at the car one more time, surprisingly the vehicle was not in their inventory anymore so I texted the sales person and he said that another sales person just sold the car. So let s start with the fact that it could ve been nice to know that the car that I m coming to see is no longer available, the sales person replied in his text that he has several more of the same cars that I wanted to test drive so I decided to give it a try since I was on my way there already. I checked in at the front desk and told them the name of the person I worked with over emails and texts, they said that he will be right with me. After about 3 to 5 minutes of wait the sales person finally arrived and asked me if I found something else that I want to see, I told him that I am still currently looking and he said that he needs to go with another customer and he will be right back with me. It took me about five minutes to find a car that I want to test drive but yet the guy was not there, so I was just sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting for 20 minutes while no one else approached me and asked me if I ve been helped or if I need help. I got up and went to the front dest to tell the lady what happened and i walked out of there. They might have great prices and big inventory to choose from but as far as customer service and appreciating and respecting the customers time I would give them zero stars. The good thing is that in the DFW area we have hundreds of car dealerships to choose from. So thank you driver select for teaching me a valuable lesson and reminding me that quality is more important than quantity, I will be taking my business and my money somewhere else.
I ve never written a review before; however, the service I received was so poor I felt compelled to relay my experience. The employees milled around staring at us as we aimlessly wandered around trying to figure out how to look at a particular car until I was forced to finally ask someone for help in which they reluctantly directed me to the front desk. After checking in we test drove the car I was interested in and I decided that it was the one I wanted to buy. We sat there for almost 2 hours and talked to the salesman for maybe 10 minutes of that time, he did not introduce himself, did not ask for my name. After sorting through the issues we made a deposit on the vehicle and left. Not 30 minutes later I get a call from a DIFFERENT employee telling me they had already sold it but forgot to log it. He then immediately tried to sell me a new car. While I m fairly new to purchasing cars I know for a fact that that is not how good business is done. Will not be returning.
Really couldn't tell they wanted to sell a vehicle. Very chaotic from the minute we walked in. Test drives took forever, then we sit around for 30 mins while they try to find our salesman, just so he can walk over and hand me a iPad to start on financing. If you want to buy a vehicle in DFW, go somewhere else. Plenty of good places that will actually give you customer service for your business.
It was the worst experience I have ever had. Came picked up a car with the intent to buy however was called within 10 minutes of leaving the dealership that the car was sold. Yet at the end of the business day I was called their deal fell thru and the wanted me to just accept that they were rude and management didn't offer apologies. Never again! Feel really bad for the Car sells man he was a sweet guy in the wrong dealership.
I wish I could give zero star to this place. Bought a 2016 Lexus from this dealership. After reaching home I found out that this car has multiple issues. Rear bumper was popping out due to broken clip inside, front driver leather seat was torn, to name a few. Called their customer loyalty center within 30 days and they scheduled a service appointment for the all stuff that s wrong with the car to be fixed. These guys painted my car seat black to match the leather color and pushed rear bumper in place. With taxes heat, plastic(rear bumper) gets heated when car is parked outside, it tends to expand and within matter of couple hrs after they had just pushed it in place , it came right back out. Tried to reach out the service manager and Nicole (customer service rep) multiple times on the same day but they never responded. After making multiple attempts to reach these guys to find a solution, I finally received a call from their manager and he wanted to install aftermarket bumper which will require to be painted and installed on the car. Who would want a aftermarket bumper installed on their car which is painted to match the car color? Well, I agreed to get that changed but after that I never heard from these guys. Least to say, they have lost my business. Like other dealership they are only nice to you when you buying the car, after that you are a hassle/inconvenience to them, atleast that s how I felt.
Buyer be aware. The 190 point check is a lie. I bought a car here on Saturday. The A/C did not work and I did not notice. I told them that day. They say "I'm sorry, take it to Toyota, we won't fix that." 5 days later the car will not start. The dealership tells me I should pay for a tow truck and have it taken to the manufacturer to fix. It seems reasonable to believe that a one year old car will work for six days. The dealership is not helpful. As soon as you say you want to return the car, exchange the car, or have them fix it... Customer service stops calling you or responding to you.
I am a very dissatisfied customer. I bought a 2016 elantra. The very next day I saw a 2015 elantra with all features that I wanted for less price. So, I asked them to just switch the 2016 with 2015. They said, I should trade in the car that I already bought and the trade in value would be $1200 less than what I paid a day before. Their little effort to switch the car would have been my 5 year happiness. Just less than 24 hours, they did not let me switch the car. There is normally a 72 hour window to switch a car. I am a very disappointed customer.
My husband and I purchased a car with Heather in February. The process went well. It is unlike a dealership with constant negotiations, which we both liked. I had never heard of Driver s Select before, but my husband did research on the company. The downside is that it was extremely crowded on a Saturday. Sales reps were almost fighting for a room, which mean t the process took a bit longer than I would have preferred. So at the time of purchasing and after, I was happy with our purchase. It was not until after our purchase that I realized that this company is extremely lacking in customer service from the Sales Reps, to the Manager of Sales. This is the downside of not purchasing with a regular dealership. At a dealership, if you are not satisfied with one member in Sales, you will always be able to receive some form of help not here. After speaking with a few Sales Reps, I spoke to Gene, who is the head of sales. He promised to call me back and he never had. I even called back to remind him of our conversation, no response. I called on a Saturday before they were busy and spoke to another manager, he promised to call back on a Monday, no call. I spoke to my sales rep and asked her to see if my question can be expedited, nothing. It is disturbing that we purchased a car from this company and no one is willing to help resolved my problem, nor will they return my call. It is a slap in the face as a customer to be treated this way. Would I ever recommend a family member or friend to purchase from them? After my experience with their lack of customer, I am disappointed that we purchased our vehicle from them. No customer should be treated this way, not matter what question they ask during or after the sales process.
Beware, this place does not accept outside financing. Their loans have interest rates almost double what you can get at the bank but they will "lower" your rate if you purchase 3000-6000 in add ons. We took our business to another dealership.
I bought a car from here and am very happy with it, only because it is the car I wanted. Aside from that, this was the absolute worst car buying experience I have ever had. NEVER would I have imagined that a car salesman could get me so heated. They almost literally would not take "no" for an answer on gap insurance. Are the kickbacks from ally auto really that good that you would force their gap insurance down your customers throat? My salesman stated that he was so adamantly suggesting (forcing) me to get gap, because he was concerned for me, and he wouldn't feel good about himself if he didn't sell me the gap insurance because I "needed it". I'm sorry, but if you're reading this, I bought NONE of what came out of your mouth, and I think you know this. You would've been better off if you just told me straight up that you are incentivized to sell GAP, and you'd sweeten my deal if I accepted GAP, instead of pretending like you cared about me.
