How many people shopping for a vehicle have actual knowledge in cars or car sales? Guessing not many based on the reviews - that or those who are positively rating this dealership are employees. They list a used 2003 Audi A6 for $12,500 it has 87,157 mi and is a 5 speed automatic - they're charging $5k OVER market value and when you comp vehicles, within 500 miles you'll find they're significantly cheaper with the same mileage or less, not to mention one model year over. When I brought this to the attention of a sales rep he changed his tune they base their price on vehicles 1000 mile radius before it was 500. I'm not going to go into a rant over the other vehicles they're conning. These guys are shysters. Very disappointed because they are appealing at first, they've got a nice selection they're just beyond overpriced.

I stopped by there on a Sunday to Look at the car that I was interested in and their PA system said that I was trespassing. I like the vehicle, but I guess I'll buy something somewhere else.
Bernard was great once we got with him. But before that I scheduled an appointment with mr. Calhoun who when we arrived seemed very anxious for us to not be there. I was coming to look at a 2015 and 2016 Nissan Altima with the sole purpose to buy. He knew what car we wanted and what time we were coming. When we arrived we were told it s on a second lot and we will have to wait until it gets over here. I took an extended lunch break to come up there to pick the one I wanted and we waiting 45 minutes or more before Bernard came over and basically started the process from scratch. We drove over to the vehicle and test drove it and decided we wanted the 2016 due to a recent price drop. After getting everything with my loan straightened out we went to go sign and pick up the car with the cashiers check in hand. When we were finished we came out to a decently clean car but coming from a dealership previously it was not detailed like the $259 fee says it would be. Overall I m happy with the vehicle but a lot of things could have been different to make the actual buying process a lot less stressful. I do not recommend anyone talk to mr. Calhoun and if I had more time last night I would have asked them to detail it again since I did pay for it. Great prices on cars and the cars we looked at were basically pristine condition. Bernard was fantastic thorough and prompt and I thank him for that.
I recently purchased a car there. Got the car at a great price. I repeatedly and emphatically asked the sales rep. not to shop my credit, "I don't want my credit shopped. That happened to my son and he got several hard inquiries, I don't want that to happen to me. DO NOT PULL MY CREDIT OVER AND OVER." I was told it would be on hard pull and the finance companies would see and consider my loan. Well that did not happen and I have SIX new hard inquiries after I almost DEMANDED that that not happen and was assured it would not happen. The sales rep. lied. My score which was very good went down. I am beyond furious.
The call center is amazing but once your information is passed to the dealership the communication is terrible. I submitted my application on a Wednesday morning and couldn t get anyone to update me on it by Friday and I called multiple times. I was trying to do everything before Friday to come into the dealership from out of town to buy. It was absolutely frustrating to deal with the lack of communication. So much so that I took my business elsewhere.
Terrible customer care, I have not heard back from anyone since June 8, voicemail and online portal requests do not seem to go through. I do not recommend outside city residents to purchase a vehicle here. They have not followed through on their "weoweyou." Long wait to sign paperwork, 2 stars for the kind tone.
Great car, price, but awful customer service!!! Brought a check from another financial institution to FULL pay the car and bring the car insurance information, and waited all afternoon for service. Very disappointed!! They have so much business that our business was NOT their priority. They forget time is money
They get you with the pricing but one thing I noticed is that they dont provide a 360 inspection on these used vehicles like they advertise. I bought a 2016 BMW 528i with 33,000 on it that had bad breaks and a messed up suspension system. The shocks were so bad that when I went over bumps you could hear it screech as the car went up and down. I bought their warranty and Ally s. Reported the problem to them and they set an appt up to bring it in to correct the issue. They called me to pick my car up ablut a day later and said they fixed the breaks...i advised it was breaks and shocks. The guy told me he would check to see if they did work on the shocks and call me right back. Never called me back. Kept calling them and THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! A whole week later some guy named Kyle emails me letting me know they did extensive work on the suspension system and the car was ready to be picked up. Got my car and the breaks were fixed BT THE SHOCKS WERE STILL MESSED UP! Was advised by Miriam that she would call me Monday to confirm if they did the work or not and SHE NEVER CALLED! BEWARE OF THE VEHICLES CONDITION WHEN YOU PURCHASE! DURING YOUR TEST DRIVE TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC BECAUSE THEY WILL TRY THEIR BEST TO GET OUTNOF COMPLETING THE REPAIRS THAT WERE SUPPOSE TO HAVE ALREADY BEEN DONE BEFORE YOU BUY A VEHICLE! What type of 360 inspection is that! THEN the Enterprise right across the freeway said the same thing. They get alot of customers who just bought cars who have to bring them back and get put in rentals because they weren t sold to the customer in a proper condition!
They have unbeatable car prices. That being said they literally force you to buy unnecessary extended car warranty with the purchase. They will persuade you to buy the warranty or other services through them while delaying your purchase paperwork and making you wait to get more stressed out about it. It has happened to two of my friends when they made their purchase and i have witnessed it all. Nevertheless i might still suggest to buy car from them JUST because of the price they offer.
Wonderful selection and great prices. However, our initial sales rep refused to fully addressed our safely concerns, got frustrated and dismissed me mid conversation. The second representative asked a manager to investigate the product issue but the manager was very manipulative and very misleading. He literally proved the issue then turned a blind eye to their own shortcomings in quality assurance and would say anything to me to redirect the focus. We decided to purchase the vehicle and address the issues on our own because of the amazing price. Even after they tried to bait and switch on us. Great prices, but that was a rough dealership experience.
I had a good experience until they never sent me the SD card that was promised when I purchased a car 6 months ago. When you call you always have to leave a message and sometimes they call you back. When they do if you don t answer good luck getting to speak with anyone. I have gotten through and have been told multiple times that they aren t sure what happened and that it should be on the way. Pretty disappointed how it was handled, by multiple people and numerous occurrences.
Salesman was good but really disliked the sales manager. I bought a car elsewhere.
I bought a car here and got a really good deal on a used late model car. However, the salespeople are focused on selling warranties and are super hyped up. I still do not have my plates or inspection sticker and my salesperson will not speak to me because I rated the experience so low. (Bought Cadillac)
I had been e mailing with Matthew McCoy for a couple weeks. I told him on a monday, that I was ready to buy a Dodge Charger. He said, I was in luck because they was plenty to choose from. I arrive at the dealership the next day, Tuesday expecting to see all these Chargers that were supposed to be there. I met Matthew and he said that there wasnt any Chargers on the lot and that I should have scheduled an appt so they can make sure they have the cars on the lot, as they store most of their vehicles in a seprate location. Disappointed, I said, ok, lets set it up for the follwing day, Wednesday. I get there the next day and I met Matthew. He told me he got promoted to finance and that another person would help me. The other salesman told me that there was only one Charger on the lot and that the other Charger was on its way. And the car that was on the lot, only had one key. Disappointed again, I said, I have no interest in buying a vehicle with only one key. He said, you can buy another one for only $250. I said, the car should come with two keys already. I then told him, I wasnt interested in waiting on the other car either because it should have been on the lot already. Disappointed once again, I left. I sent an email to Matthew once I got home and told him that if and when, he can get two Chargers on the lot, that both have two keys each, let me know because I was not about to waste another day at that dealership as they have already wasted three of my days. A little while after that, I received a phone call from another representative who asssured me that there would be two Chargers on the lot for me to look at the following day, Thursday. I got to DS the next day, my fourth consecutive day. Met with Jose Lopez and we test drove both Chargers. Put down my deposit and picked up the car the next day, Friday. I didnt like how DS offered the apr on the loan. They gave me higher apr just because I didnt buy any add ons like, paintless dent repair or an extended warranty. Like they were punishing me for declining any of their ad ons. I don't think thats fair and furthermore I dont think that should be their decision. I think that should be made by the institution that is providing the loan, not Drivers Select. And I feel that they lowered my credit score, on purpose, to give me a higher apr. So, my experience with Drivers Select is not good. Thank you
DriverSelect is cheaper and better than a traditional dealerships. The facility is modern and they use technology strong. They do however make an aggressive (somewhat offensive) push for customers to purchase their warranty or gap insurance. When you refuse, their motivation to make the sell lessens, but they maintain professionalism. If you are a corporate or not-for-profit company don't expect much accommodation. The experience level for corporate financing or even cash purchases under Texas tax-exempt status is very narrow. They wanted me, an employee of my company, to be the guarantor of a loan for a non-profit with $4 million is assets which is pretty ridicules. So when we decided to not finance and simply purchase the vehicle, they refused to our tax exempt status with the state of Texas and 501C3 federally. The biggest complaint is that with all the technology, their workflow is slooooooooooow. Even a straight cash transaction with the deal already in place took hours. I would not say avoid them, but bring your lunch and be ready to fight if you don't want their warranty or gap insurance.
A strange experience from the beginning. Walked in with a few cars in mind to look at. (I had 6 vehicles saved from their online inventory) Our sales rep. (Henry or Harry..honestly can t remember) told us to pick 2 because it would be impossible to test drive all of them. I wasn t looking to necessarily drive all of them, more or less just wanted to physically look at the vehicles. After we drove 2 of them, we were asked which it would be. We asked to look at more cars and he turned us out to the lot where all the cars were. Would have been nice for him to come out there with us for the questions we had or to look inside the cars. Decided to go elsewhere and when we went back inside, our rep was absolutely no where to be found. Waited for about 5 minutes and asked the service desk for the keys to our car back. The shift manager/leader or whoever it was of course came out to try and save the sale. Not a great experience if you are looking to be guided and informed. If you know exactly what you are looking for and want to test drive, this is your place though! Just not what we were looking for in a car dealership.
Quality wise they have some of the best Pre-Owned vehicles. They seem like they are best priced when you look around at other places. But other places negotiate, provide some services free, but these people dont. So eventually you will see that this place is not really best priced. Coming to service..these people take enormouse amount of time to show a car. And they dont hesitate to make you wait for long times. And financing is costly and they force you to buy additional warranry which is again pricey. PS : Only go if you cant find a car of your choice anywhere else.
Very good facility. Excellent choice of pre-owned vehicles. Customer service by sales is excellent. Not so much so with management.
Not happy about my whole experience. They did good work with financing and the salesman was very helpful. When I purchased my 17 Pacifica I indicated to the dealer that the vehicle upon test drive had a slight vibration at the wheel and I could hear a grinding sound. Long story short, they had their certified technician tell me the noise was because my van is equipped with 20 rims. I took their word in good faith, now 4 months after my purchase. I took the van to a Chrysler dealer for an unrelated issue. I was still set on the fact that something was off. I got my vehicle back today, sure enough. Both front struts and mounts alongside with the wheel hubs needed replaced. This may not sound like much but with labor, etc. My repair bill was $2,800 USD!! Thankfully my wife convinced me to get the extended warranty at purchase, this eased the financial burden. I am not pleased with my experience, I do not recommend this place nor will I come back for a future purchase (in the market for a truck). By the way, they told me they would mail me the missing remote controllers and set of wireless headphones that were missing. Only received 1 remote. The mats were missing, they gave me universal ones that would fit a sedan, not this type of minivan. So for the little bit of money you may save at this place, save yourself the burden and go get yourself a certified used vehicle from a reputable dealer.
The 30 day happiness guarantee is a joke. I was promised things upon purchase that were never delivered. I left my new car after purchase for 15 days and came back 5 times, and absolutely nothing was done that they promised. I will never buy a car here again. I'm also going to personally make sure that I spread the word about this bad experience to prevent anyone else from going through the same frustration that I did. Love my new car, hated the experience.
While the service was good, they are absolutely unwilling to work with their customers. Prices are final, and no matter what flaws you find the most they may take off is $100 or so. They say this is because they only price them 200 or so over what they are bought for, but if they make a bad buy you are expected to pay for their mistake. Will not be going back.
I liked the sales people we worked with, but the detailing of my car was horrible! They said they took it back to get scrubbed up and we pointed out it appeared the previous owner spilled A LOT. All of the spills were there when I got home. I have been detailing my car all weekend
Two stars because the front desk lady was nice, the bathroom was clean and we were assisted quickly and then it went downhill from there. The experience we just encountered with the sales manager and the salesman is unforgettable. Neither of them knew the difference between 4WD ( four wheel drive) and FWD (front wheel drive). We went in looking for a Ford explorer. Our salesman shows us a tablet with all the ones in stock. We told him we wanted 4wd and he shows us 2 different ones. We went out to look at them and they weren't there. Back inside my husband looks up what we wanted on the computer screen and sees that it says FWD or RWD no 4WD. Salesman is like "do you mind explaining the difference between them? This can be a learning experience for me" my husband's mouth dropped luckily he was wearing a mask. We explained what the difference was. The salesman leaves and the sales manager comes over and gives us a schpill then she tries to show us the new inventory and says she has "4 new FWD coming in soon." My husband says "no that's front wheel drive" she says "oh, yeah I guess you're right." Two hours of our lives wasted. I definitely think you should make sure you're employees are educated and know what they are selling.
I have to say that my first experience was amazing, but I returned to finish a purchase the guy that was doing this ran my credit about 10x with different creditors WITHOUT my permission. This affected my credit and still is. Never returning to this dealership brand ever again. They advertise low prices, but don t tell you that they ll ruin your credit in the process just to get a sale. Horrible.
Pros and Cons: Pros: great cars at great prices, great environment, work with great lenders. Cons: very pushy about extended warranty, like never ending. Will show someone with great credit 750+ a 5-6% rate when they first show you the deal. If you say no they scurry to the back and turn it into a monthly payment game. If you finally get strong armed into the warranty(which you can buy directly through ally for half the cost) they will show you a way better rate. I tried to use my financing which I was unable to as they don t allow it. I purchased elsewhere.
They are great at selling you a car but then after that their customer service is terrible. I've been trying to reach them for almost 10 days and no one answers the phone and no one returns calls.
Terrible experience. Purchased my vehicle and when I came to pick it up there were 2 parts missing from the interior (they were there when I took the car for a test drive). I let them know about it before I left the lot(!) and they said they would call be back to help me get a new one. It has been nearly 2 months since then. I have tried calling numerous times and everytime I call they say the guy in charge of those things is unavailable and I will get a call back. Never happened. If you re looking for a place that ll treat you with respect AFTER you buy a car, stay away from this place!
Good car, lousy service. We did find a great car and the price was pretty good. We tend to look all over the metroplex until we find the cars we are most interested in and then go to where those cars are. We buy Honda Accords, and there are hundreds of those available all over. But one of the better Accords ended up being here, unfortunately. When we made our decision and were ready to close the deal, we were sure to get there right when they opened at 9 AM so we could be sure to get the car. We didn't leave with the car until about 5 PM. Little did I know that it was going to take all day long. For part of this time in the morning we took the car to a mechanic for an inspection, and we left at 10 and were back at about noon, so two hours are on us. But after that we were just sitting and sitting for what seemed like forever. A few things to note: - The warranty plan they sell is a ripoff. You pay a lot of money and it only covers certain major repairs that are highly unlikely to be needed for most cars. - I think (but don't know for sure) that once we said no their warranty, we were lower on their priority list. - We asked them to do a few things, and they did none of the things we asked. We tried to get new tires on the car (the treads were getting a bit low), and they said no. We tried to get a new battery (the tester indicated it was getting weak), and they said no. We tried to get new wiper blades and they said yes, but didn't do it. So remember, "no haggle pricing" means "no flexibility at all". - There was disgusting junk caked on the center console. We asked them to clean the interior, and they assured us that they would do a thorough cleaning, but their cleaning was very superficial. The gunk was still there, so we cleaned it ourselves when we got home. - We were getting it titled in the name of our trust, which created additional confusion and delays on their part due to the long name. At the end of the day, we couldn't get out of there fast enough. What a beat down. Not going back, ever, even if they have a car we are interested in.
Overall experience here was good until the financing of the vehicle. I decided to finance at the dealership because they pull multiple rates (form multiple banks) when they pull your credit bureau. When they shop your rate they obviously will get multiple different rate pricings based off the lender's rates. As a third party loan originator the dealership does not get the direct interest from the loan. They get a "cut" or are compensated for the referral. What I experienced during the financing was quite unethical and needs to be addressed. When they offered me the rate for the financing they didn't offer me the lowest rate that I had qualified for. For example, they might get three offers from three different banks and offer you the highest of the three. My assumption is that they didn't offer me the lowest rate because I declined their warranties, which they directly profit off of. After I mentioned their interest rate was too high for someone with an 800 FICO and 30% debt-to-income, they said they would try and get it lower. They then came back to me and said if I would accept their $500 warranty they could get me a lower interest rate. They were obviously able to do this because again, when they pull your credit they shop multiple banks and had a couple other offers that were lower than the one originally offered. The APR/APY I ended up with was almost a full percent lower than what they originally offered. This a very unethical way to do business, holding the customer hostage with a higher rate so you can increase their revenue by purchasing their warranty. Also, I left a comment in which the customer service manager (I believe Michael) called me and left a message. I called back and left a message, and he did not ever return my call. I am sure this is a daily sales tactic that they use to increase the company's revenue. Very unethical lending practice and unprofessional efforts to resolve the issue. You wonder why car sales gets the negative stigma it does. I worked in sales for years, highly productive, without unethical behavior.
Feels like a used car revolving door kinda place. Sales staff not very knowledgeable and the Maanger we spoke to didn't seem to care about our concerns. In addition, the vehicles were obviously not cleaned or detailed prior to making them available.
Nice place, not over prices and friendly staffs. But they donot update their website regularly, so had to go there few times just to find out the cars i were looking for is already sold.
Initially I thought it was great, as soon as I took the car home, the window on passenger side did not go up all the way, I called them back and they told me to bring it back, I did, they kept it for 2 days and I was told that the door was not input correctly and the would need to order a new door, when I contacted the salesman, he just kept saying he would get back with me. He never did, stop taking my calls. After about 3 car washes, the top coat began to peel on the hood, I thought I was minor, after 2 more washes, the whole hood began to peel and underneath it revealed numerous paint over marks that are a different color white. I have had tons of minor issues and not once have they ever tried to correct even though I have tried numerous times. Very dissatisfied and have not recommended.
Very poor customer support, there was a small crack on the rear view mirror, noticed after parking in my garage, i was able to get in touch with Wes Wilson (he seemed to be prompt, responsive) on May 9th 2019, i guess he placed an order but never came back with an update, there have been a dozens of voicemail i left, and email asking for update , nobody bothers to reply. Worst experience on my end. Finally got a call from Wes, parts was in and scheduled an appointment, they replaced the parts, had to wait just a couple of hour and boom. Overall a very good place to find good deals on used cars. Would recommend this place for a hassle free car buying experience but on weekdays, Saturday is super busy.
Overall, this was the worst car buying experience I have had. I have bought 7 cars from dealers over the last 18 years. They are far too busy with not nearly adequate infrastructure. The whole experience took 3 times longer than the most extreme acceptable time limits: 7 hours... and we only looked at and test drove 1 (yes, one) car. Pros: decent, let's say fair, prices... "no haggle" prices (more on that in cons)... new, nice vehicles... our salesman was a decent guy... the facilities were mostly clean but very crowded (holy orange!)... vehicle was as advertised... optional valet parking. Cons: "no haggle" pricing, sure, except the managers pressure you to buy extra warranties and insurances if you decline them with the salesperson, going so far as to refuse to seek other financing options unless you buy the extras (for me, those extras would have cost an additipnal $4,000)... it took 7 hours... the place was packed with people and cars (apparently they are moving to a larger facility soon)... financing options are minimal (unless you buy extras)... we were asked to move out of our booth during the financing part which made us uncomfortable (this was also at about 3 hours into the visit)... charging stations for mobile devices were not functional... at 7 hours it is very difficult to read contracts and I suspect this is a shady design (to exhaust people so they arent detailed with the specifics, like $4,000 in unnecessary extras). They offer a nice extended warranty (75k miles, basically bumper to bumper). Most modern vehicles should last 100,000 miles without major problems. Since their vehicles are low milage and newer, this is quite unnecessary. Remember! You will need to secure full coverage insurance before you complete the transaction. So, inquire about the finance company as early as possible, if you are financing. If I were you, Id put them on a strict time limit immediately. They do not have the best deals or cars! Feel free to walk away!
We bought Lexus IS from them! great car with fair price! Salesman, Jeremy was very helpful! but unfortunately general manager was very aggressive and disrespectful to us as customer! We requested to get the tires changed because they were not in a fair condition! but he refuse to do that! and kept saying it meets our standards! apparently their standards are very LOW!!!! anyways we ended up buying the car only because spent 4 hours in the dealership! Very good car but very very bad customer experience!! I encourage the to work on it!! I wouldn't recommend to anyone because I believe customer relationship and experience is more important than selling your cars!!
I get the point is just to sell cars fast here, but it can make it really inconvenient when buying from out of state. They can't hold a car for more than 24 hours. I showed up for my appointment on time and the sales rep had us waiting for over 30 min just to see the car and halfway to the car (which was a far walk) he says that its basically already sold and there's no point in going out there. May be the best option for some people but I would recommend another dealer.
Bought a car from Echopark Dallas last week. The process itself was pretty standard except that it was painful to get them to cover a cracked window glass that they said was within spec (until the crack continues to get bigger). My main gripe with them is the fact that they didn t give me a second key fob. I didn t notice when we left and called that afternoon to ask. They said that they only had one key and that I would have to buy one myself. Who sells a car with only one key? They should make buyers aware of this before they commit. A key for this car costs $250. They shouldn t hide this from buyers. Once you sign the papers it s too late.
Update: Within minutes of posting this review, customer care called me asked me to email them the photos of the dome light. Let's see how it goes. Will update further. Original review: Well, I did like the car buying experience but it is the after sales that is in dire need of improvement. There were problems with my car, specifically, the interior dome light switch was missing. I was told that a customer service personnel would contact me regarding the issue within a week. It has almost been 3 weeks and no one yet has contacted me regarding the issue. The salesperson who assisted me in buying the car has stopped responding to my emails/calls. I'm very frustrated on seeing such attitude from such a respectable organization. It seems that all of the employees will do whatever it takes to sell a car but no one would bother about a customer once the car has been sold. Disappointed !!
My wife and I bought a 2016 Hyundai Tucson from drivers select back in January.. since then I have had to replace the tires in March. my left turn signal stopped working and my front passenger door won t open unless you pump the handle 6-7 times. We have also had to replace the battery. the process of buying the car was pretty simple however we did put a $500 deposit down and came back in the next day only to find out the car had been sold but they had another one just like It except it had considerably more mileage. I worry this car will continue to be a headache.
Three hours later we were still trying to begin our paperwork. We were passed around to four different salesmen. I recommend this place only if you wish to waste four hours of your life.
I bought a 2019 XTS on January 4th. The car did not have the SD card for the navigation in it. They say that was normal and they would have it to me in 3 or 5 days after I contact customer care to have it ordered. I contacted customer care on the 6th and left a message because apparently they do not answer the phone. Someone did call me back that day and said they ordered the SD card for the GPS. Well it's January 23rd and I still do not have an SD card for the GPS. I called on the 15th to follow up left a message and no one called me until I texted my salesperson the next day, the 16th. The person that called me said they did not know if they got the card and if it was there or if they did not get it in. Well that means they did not even follow up with the SD card after 5 days of not receiving it from where ever they get the card from. So now another week has gone by and I left a message today and did not get a call back yet. So I got a car from DriverSelect EchoPark with no navigation. Extremely frustrating and no follow ups. I will never consider buying a car from this place again. Nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Send my navigation card!!!! Update 01/28th still no SD card for my navigation, despite the woman on the phone say they we re going to 2 day ship it on Thursday.
Very upset with the fact that the car only came with one key. I guess I should have confirmed this before purchasing, but I figured I would have been told this during the buying process. It's a shame as the purchasing process was pretty streamlined. I wouldn't recommend this dealership based on the fact that they withhold this type of information until after the fact and when asking if they could provide me with another key they simply refused. First dealership I've had this type of issue with. It's going to be another $300 to get this issue fixed at another dealership after having spent thousands with this dealership.
If you intend to buy a car in cash or pay using the dealership's own financial options, then you should go ahead and buy the car from them. If your want to get a car loan from your bank, then this dealership is not a right choice.
Did not have the car we set an appointment for. They could have called before we drove an hour and 30 minutes away. Blamed it on a system issue. It happens I guess. Laid back place but they do not have car titles on hand.
Good things- 1. Service is good and friendly. 2. Managed properly. 3. Good infrastructure. 4.190 points inspected cars so think the car will be good and I will not see any issues in future. Things needs improvement- 1. Know more about the car you are selling. Don t sell the car without having knowledge like It s privately ownded, private lease or, rental. At least tell correctly if asked for such type of questions. 2. Don t get bullish on selling Gap insurance and extended warranty. 3. I informed that I and coming to see some listed cars and drove 50 miles took leave. If the car I asked to see is already sold then you must inform us. 4. Car loan is 2 times costly when taken from outside marked as compared from Drivers select
Cars are price to sell, but they are aggressive to keep loans within their network at a very high rate (Wells Fargo) even though I have perfect credit. They also wouldn't accept my loan from my credit union.
This place only gets two stars from Me because the guy that helped me was nice. Terrible experience with the sales manager. Im a nurse and was furloughed for 1 month 1/2. I let the guy know this. I sent my check stubs, proof of income. The sales manager told me I was denied because I didn t have a real income due to be furloughed which was definitely not my choice. The other part that got me was that he didn t even know my name when he sat down. He had to go back and check multiple things. The upside of this is even though they denied me I was able to go 20 minutes down the street to CARMAX and get the same exact car approved in less than 10 minutes !
I liked the no haggle price. But the 30 days warranty is a pure fraud. You better check the car top to bottom before you buy it. I had a couple of issues the day after the I purchased the car and texted the sales person. I did not even get a call back nothing, I took it to the dealership and they took care of the issue under warranty in 2 hours. Yes you save on the price, you get what you pay for. BE PREPARED FOR THAT.
The place is no price hassle(their prices are normally very good)...their margins are low according to salesman less than $500 per car but they trick you on the interest rate...My Score was +730 and I was getting 5.95% rate!! When the market is around 3.5%-4%...that is 50%more interest for the life of your loan...so I pushed back. They came back saying that if they could offer me closer to 4% will be ok?...why they didn t offer a fair/transparent rate from start?...so their biz is on the high interest rate....You can t bring your own car loan so you are trapped on what ever they offer you...Is ok, they need to make money...but I wish they were more transparent about it and were hassle free with fair interest rate as well. Still waiting for final answer from them..I won t accept more than .5% of market rate. Will update this week after final decision.
I bought a used 2016 Lexus about 2 weeks ago. Less than a week later I was driving and all the sudden the break lights come on and tells me break malfunction and break system shutting down. Luckily I made it back to my house and was able to get the car towed to a Lexus dealership. When I spoke with them the next day I was informed the car had some body work done and could possibly not be covered under the manufacture warranty. I attempted to call the dealership phone number that s on the 20 pages that I signed but was a bad number. I also sent a text to Larry the rep that sold the car to me and got no response. I finally found a number after I googled the drealership and left a message for someone to call me back. Finally 4 days later I get a call back from Miriam and that s when I found out about the work that had been done in the car. She said she could send me an email with what they did, which I didn t receive until 2 days later. Ultimately the Lexus dealership was able to get the parts fixed under warranty, but I still should ve been informed of the repair work before I bought the car! I won t be recommending anyone I know to purchase a car from this dealership!
Got a decent deal on a car, but the process was excruciating! We started at 9 am with pre-approved financing. Selected a car by 10 am, and then the salesman disappeared. Occasionally he would pop back around with a question. Didn t drive away until after 3 pm! (And the whole time they they were hard pushing in-house financing). I ve never experienced such a sluggish process while buying an auto, and I ve bought many! I would happily have paid more money somewhere else to avoid wasting my entire day.
Be very wary of working with them, especially with Shelton. I was 95% close to buying, but the high-pressure sales tactics on the extended warranty were a deal-breaker for me. I shouldn't have to say no a third, fourth, and fifth time. Also, finance offer was laughable (double what my bank is offering) - and the salesman even suggested that they could try to lower the APR by taking the warranty - total bull hockey! Have some integrity, EchoPark. If you aren't willing to make a sale without mandating the warranty purchase, be up front and say so!
No one approached me until after waiting for over 30 minutes I was told the wait would be 20 minutes. The gentleman who approached me (Jay) was very kind in answering my questions he s the only reason I am giving one more star to my review.
The price is ok, but the service is not that good. We come in at 3:30 with an idea of which car we want to but. But we did not leave until 10!!! Get leave a lone for almost 1hours. Takes them about 20mins just to make copy of our documents. And is the first time I see a dealer just give you keys and let you test drive yourself.
The pricing and quality and selection of vehicles is great The staff and management not so much. For staff that wears "care is contagious" shirts, you'd think that would of been the case. I almost just walked out at some point for the attitude and the very confrontational way of speaking whenever I would ask a question or say no to a service. Mix that with some of the BS they would use to try and sell their services was insane. Idk if I would ever buy another car here, and I don't really recommend someone either unless there is a really good deal.
Great deal for a great car. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WORKS BEFORE YOU WALK OUT OF THE LOT! The navigation SD card was not in place. I tried calling the location at least 10 times. Every time I am promised it will be ordered and to wait a couple of weeks and they will let me know when we can come in to have it popped in. I do not hear back from anyone after that! This is happened at least 6 times. Then I call the main office. A very nice manager tells me that's unacceptable and that he'll make sure someone contacts me to get this resolved ... I'm still waiting! The price and quality of the vehicles are great, but this horrible customer service experience is going to keep me away. I'm also going to make sure no one I know goes there. A $200 part is going to cost them tens of thousands of dollars ... UPDATE: Apparently there was a snag with my request and information. Long story short, the part was finally ordered and mailed to me. We put it in the car and it is working. Back to being a happy customer, though there was no need for the struggle and long wait. Thank you.
Had an appointment flew in from Arizona and had constantly contacted them to make sure 2 vehicles were there to view on arrival. Got there no one was ready or had any information saved waisted hours going over every again only to find out BOTH vehicles sold the day before. No one notified us. Huge disappointment waist of time and inconvenience. Went to Westway Ford. Better quality and customer service
Not for the impatient person! Took over 5 hours here. Yes there is no negotiating so no haggling or managers to deal with so that part is easier. Howver, everything else about the process is more difficult because they keep most of their cars offsite. You don't come here to shop. You need to know exactly what car you want so they can order it from their lot and that takes 40 minutes. If you want to look at another car, it's another 40 minutes. Took over 1.5 hours to get car washed and ready to go. Overall the people are very nice but it was still as painful as ever to buy a vehicle.
Still Waiting for my tags and registration and it has been almost a month? Called and emailed. Left multiple messages - no one is getting back to me.
We called to verify the truck we wanted was there. We drove an hour to get there. When we got there, they couldn t find the truck. An hour later we asked to change sales agents, because ours got testy when we asked if it would be much longer to see the truck. The manager found the truck in about 5 minutes. We test drove it and decided to buy it. Filled out all the forms. Second sales guy came by to inform us that the car was incorrectly listed (so worth less) but of course they don t change the price. We decided to still buy the truck. Then came the warranty sales pitch. We said no. Three times. We asked him to stop trying to sell us the warranty, and that we really didn t want it, and if he tried to sell us the warranty again, we were leaving. Then he tried to sell us the warranty again. We left. Waste of 4 hours. Great truck that was misrepresented. Manager tried, but the sales guys were the very worst ever.
Great prices and big selection of cars found exactly what I wanted, down side it took me 7 hours to get out of the dealership with my new car had an appointment at 12pm and left the dealership at 7pm very slow at getting you out because each salesperson is trying to help 5 people at once and they did not wash my car, pull off window stickers or put gas in it before giving me the keys like I was told they would i left the lot with the gas light on.
