1 STAR IS TOO MUCH !

I ordered 24 bottles, wrong lids. They didn't help me in the slightest. I was actually told that I am one out of 100,000 people to complain and that it must be my inability to read instructions that caused the mistake in shipping. I re-ordered the correct lids and re-paid the same shipping price as when I ordered the bottles ($15 for $5 worth of lids). The second order of lids did not fit either (which arrived a month later) so they told me there must be a defect in the bottles and to return my whole order. I did as they demanded and returned the bottles and 1 MONTH LATER RECEIVED AN EMAIL THAT READ THIS:

We received the parcel today however upon receiving it the bottles were completely broken and an employee had cut themselves. The package was not sent back how you received it. Therefore we can not issue a credit.

I tried to complain but realized the rotten lady I was speaking with was the owner's daughter and she proceeded to hang up on me 3 times in a row. This is a very amateur and cheap business run by a family and probably their cousins/friends. They will not help you out and act as if they barely make any profit, so they need every penny they can pinch.

Too bad I cant give them 0 stars. Terrible scam of a company. Do yourself a favour and find another supplier. You would be better off burning your money to heat your bathwater.

Orders placed, money sent, no product received, no answers, no refund. I have a claim in with BBB.

I have never received such horrible service In my life. I have been more than patient with this company. It took 3 weeks for me to receive my order/someone else order, I called and spoke to someone in customer service who stated my order was given to someone else and I had there order and It would shipped out the next day. So I then had to wait another 3 weeks to receive my order/someone else order. (On going issue) That's what I get for not doing research on the company.

Please do not give your money to this company. They lack integrity and morality. I placed an order with them a month ago. I had to call and email repeatedly to get a response on when my order was to be shipped. The girl on the phone will tell you - WITH ATTITUDE - they had a weather related flood and I should take pity on them..aka, how dare I call and be upset that my order hasn't shipped after waiting a damn month! I was told it would be shipped by the end of the week. I called at the end of the week to ensure it was in fact being shipped out. It wasn't even packed. When I said I wanted to cancel my order - which had not been sent, let alone packaged - she told me it was company policy to charge a 20% restocking fee! I said "for what!! you just told me it wasn't even packaged yet!" she replied with the generic company policy bullsh*t, its on the website, blah blah blah. I said to her, perhaps responding to emails would be helpful for customers to not feel so upset, she said I shouldn't have emailed,I should have KNOWN to call, despite on the bottom of the email that was sent to me after receiving my payment (no issues there btw) that it specifically said "if you have any questions please reply to this email". To which she snarkily responded that needs to be fixed. lol. This company is a scam. The customer is supposed to take deep pity on a company who has been paid in full with no correspondence after that point to communicate with you in the slightest. If you call or email, I assure you, you will be made to feel like you are ANNOYING them. I told her to enjoy that 20% restocking fee, as its the last money they see from us ever again. Please do yourself a massive solid and don't order from this company..unless you like losing money and time and peace of mind.
Also, I and others are of the belief that a company called Purple Citrus is another company owned by the same people. Buyer Beware!

I have tried to call your accounting department, I have tried following your process and submitted a ticket. Nothing. What kind of holly jolly business are you running? I want my order! I read bad reviews about your company but didn't believe any of it until now. WORST COMPANY EVER! If I could give zero stars I would.

I think their going out of business, it explains their service. We ordered 2.5 months ago yet to recieve our order.

Theyll only tell you about inventory issues once you contact them and the only contact method is via email (guess they got tired of getting yelled at) you get useless responses that take weeks to reply.

Not our first issue with saffire. This is our last order with these jokers. We spend well over 30,000 a year on packaging and pallets, theyve clearly given up,

My first order, back in May 2018, went okay. In the second order, placed later that same month, there were two items missing but there was a note on a small piece of paper indicating that the 2 items were backordered. I had to call and call and email and email (none of these communications were overly successful). Eventually though, after several weeks, the two missing items arrived. Then, towards the end of June I placed another order - it never arrived - and now, in December it's still indicating, on their website, that my credit card order is being processed for a refund. Multiple calls and emails are simply not answered. This place is a scam. My advice is to save your money and do business with a reputable firm.

I had ordered from Saffire Blue last week, then I received an order and suddenly needed some of the products I was waiting for.
I sent a ticket and Kellie responded within a couple of hours. She went out of her way to track my order and contacted a manager to get a rush added, even though I hadn't been waiting a week yet. My order arrived 2 days later and was completed correctly and meticulously packaged. Their prices are so good, product is high quality and they have a lot of hard to find items. Usually the wait time doesn't bother me and i like that they have the rush order option. I have only ordered from Saffire Blue twice but both times I have been impressed with the product and customer care. Will definitely order again.

Wish there was an option for no stars. I placed an order in June 2018. Its been more than 7 months! You cannot call and talk to them because you have to get a ticket number through email. No one ever replies back to the emails. My order was in processing for the first 5 months. Then after multiple emails (without any replies), they have cancelled my order and updated the status to "refund pending". And the refund has been pending since. It makes me so mad that they are continuing to sell and keep their website going when they cant fulfil 7 month old orders. They literally stole my money.

Does anyone have any advice on anything I can do to get my money back and make the company stop selling? I would really appreciate some help! Thank you

I dont even want to give any stars to this company. I took a risk and placed an order 2 months and it still has not arrived. It wasn't even a large order to fill. I contacted them via email twice only to get an automated response about some weather conditions .... I can't even get through the telephone because no one ever answers. Such a frustrating experience. Terrible business practices.

Saffire Blue Inc has completely disappeared. I ordered product on the 3rd, it's now the 15th and my order says "awaiting processing", which means they received my money, but have not shipped anything.

Their website says they had a weather related incident and there was a problem with their products in their warehouse. At no point have they tried to contact me and if it wasn't for the customer services agent at TD spotting it on their website, I would have never known.

I have sent 6 emails, 4 phone calls and attempted to contact the owner on Facebook. I have not received any response whatsoever. All I want is a refund.

There are plenty of other options for supplies for this industry. This company is plagued with problems and their customer service is unbelievably bad. The manager I spoke to simply told me I should have sympathy for them and hung up on me. She was unwilling to do anything about my situation. If you order from here be prepared to wait an unacceptable length of time, with no communication, to have your email requests for information ignored and if anything goes wrong, they will not assist you BUT they will take your money in less than 24 hours once you place an order. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt for several years but I have had problems with most of my orders and as a business owner their supply chain and management are just too unreliable.

i ordered products from this company as well as NDA, i completed my order with saffire before NDA and they still have no shipped it! My order from the other company is already here and was packaged beautifully!
I also called them before i made my order about a question and the lady couldn't answer it and said she would have the other girl call me back and i never received that call.

I hope the products are excellent quality.

They basically stole from me. Ordered from here a two years ago, my order was worth $200 and their system "crashed", as said on their website, causing a delay in order. Only thing is, I never received my order, or got a refund, despite the amount of times that I called, no one picked up. Stay away from this company.

Terrible customer service and long wait times. They send orders with items missing and fail to mention that they're on back order. You have to jump through hoops to get a refund. Unless you pay an extra $10 for "rush" orders, (which in my opinion you shouldn't have to pay extra for quality customer service and timely delivery of your package) then you can expect to wait weeks for your order.

I have to say that I was extremely and most pleasantly surprised to see a vast improvement in customer service and shipping times. I have since ordered again and anticipate a good experience! If you have had a bad experience, give them another try - their prices and product selection are second to none and they appear to making a lot of improvements.

I wish I had read these reviews before placing my order. It has been a month and I have tried to get a hold of them a number of different ways to learn what the hold up is and I have had no luck.

They are quick to accept your money and then do not send your product or respond to your inquiries.

I have given up on receiving the items I ordered. Can't believe I was scammed but alas, here we are.

Save your money and use a reputable company AND READ REVIEWS.

Horrible customer service. Zero communication. I stopped ordering from them two years ago, because they took months to ship an order, and would not answer my emails, ad they were rude when I finally did get a hold of them. Recently, I decided to give them another try, because they seemed to be the only company that had what I needed in tock. Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened. I sent 5 emails, over two months, requesting an update on my order, and no one replied. The final time, I received a reply (not even an email from an actual human), just a statement saying my order was cancelled and could not be fulfilled. No explanation, no apology, no human to reach out. This is the worst, most unreliable, unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. My orders will continue to be placed with New Direction and Voyageur. So much for second chances.

Since then, their product line has expanded greatly, and I continue to get more pleased with the company with each order! They are eager to help and respond with any questions I have, they are quick to ship my orders, and their pricing can't be beat (anywhere, seriously!). Truly a fine establishment that I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Very poor customer service. Placed an order and after a full week there was no movement on processing. I opened a ticket to find out approximate timelines, as suggested, I received no response. I called. No response. I emailed. No response. I tried Facebook, no response. It wasn t until I said I would file a complaint with PayPal for a full refund that they responded. Only to tell ME I was being unprofessional. I can not recommend this company and based on the 2 star rating here, I see I am not the only one.

I ordered 10 ten times in the past year and I was treated like I didn't exist as a customer. I am usually a patient person/customer and I never complain unless the service is atrocious.

My last order was placed on 13th December 2013 and up till now, I have not received the order nor received any explanation or phone call, etc from them till this morning. I had emailed them once last week when they finally reopen for business and although I received an email telling me that they will respond within 24 hours, not a word from the company. I attempted to call again three times this morning and all three times, the line was cut off after I was transferred to the voice mail. Terrible customer service. I am bringing my business elsewhere. They do not even deserve a star for how they treat me and my business.

I have used Saffire Blue as a supplier for a long time and they never disappoint ;-) . I find it upsetting that so many people have written such awful reviews and I can't help but wonder if they are in the industry for a hobby or business. TWO WEEKS is not a long time to wait for an order. Saffire Blue is not Amazon.If you need your order quicker - use their rush processing. I've been personally told when I asked that they implemented the ticket system because customers were stating they were promised free goods/shipping etc but they couldn't remember who promised it to them. Thus, going to a ticket system provides a conversation ticket number and everything is written in one spot where any customer service rep can jump in when need be. Good on them! I will continue to use Saffire Blue as they have always been great to me!

Go to the Better Business Bureau to get a true review of this company. I sent them $250 + through etransfer and never received my order. It looks like they had a fire and never took down their website. They are still taking orders and not filling them but keeping the money. The Better Business Bureau said they have done all the can and I still have not received either my money or any product. If someone says they have received something since 2018, it is obviously a planted review to keep receiving money. I learned my lesson, never pay with an etransfer. If I had paid with Visa I would have had my money back.

This company was absolutely TERRIBLE to deal with. Please, read the reviews that are written by members of the public and who aren't employees of this company.

The order took WAY too long to ship. Just think of your worst dealing ever with either Rogers or Bell and multiply that experience by 1,000,000...that sums up Saffire Blue's customer service. The staff are rude and petty, and they have ZERO regard for customers and their queries or concerns about their pending orders. They have some ridiculous policy that they will deduct 20% of the cost of your item if you choose to cancel, before they ship your item. After waiting for nearly a month, I requested a refund, and the order arrived two days later without any tracking notice.

Do yourself a favour, and avoid this company at all costs. I used a company from BC called Voyageur to order similar items that I'd been waiting on for weeks from this company, and the service was much more professional.

I ordered on December 15th, 2017 and still have not received my entire order as of today, February 8th. I've contacted the company numerous times via email, stating that I had customer orders that I needed to fill and asked when to expect the remaining items. My emails were ignored and I'm still waiting. Oddly enough though, this company had no problem charging me for the entire balance on December 15th knowing that some items they did not have and would never send me. And in reading the reviews, seems I'm not the only one. Would that be considered stealing? Perhaps this company should be flagged to CBC's MarketPlace to look into its questionable dealings.

Update 2018-03-05:
I received an email this morning from the company stating that they were happy to offer me a gift certificate for the portion of the order they'd not yet delivered. Apparently there's a real shortage of eucalyptus oil I was informed. A gift certificate ..... for MY money ..... that they took 3 months ago knowing full well that they did not have those items in stock. I asked for a refund. No, can't do that they wrote. Credit only. Sooooo, you're offering me a gift certificate to use on items that you probably don't have in stock anyway? Scam. Scam. Scam.

I don't know who is giving this company a 5 star review but Saffire Blue is not worth a single star. WORST company I have EVER dealt with and the WORST customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - I never will again. Saffire Blue needs to make some serious changes to how they operate and the customer service they provide. It's ridiculous. I wish I read the reviews before placing my order because they are all accurate.

I sent an email prior to even placing my order, enquiring about some products. I didn't receive a reply until 16 days later! After a week of placing my order, I sent an email asking for any updates on when my order would be processed. A few days later with no reply, I called and was told I can't talk to anyone on the phone, only email. What kind of customer service is that if no one is even promptly answering emails? 9 business days after placing my order they still had NO IDEA when they would be processing my order. They even stated that although my items I purchased were in stock, "we cannot guarantee they will be in stock once your order has reached the front of the processing queue and is being packed for shipment." That's not how a proper company operates...

I ended up going through PayPal to get a FULL REFUND on my order. PayPal even froze Saffire Blue's account. I suggest anyone to do the same thing because you will get no where speaking to Saffire Blue and will be charged a 20% "re-stock fee" anyways if they even let you cancel your order - because they wouldn't let me. Choose New Directions Aromatics or Botanic Planet, fast and great customer service.

The ONE time I don't bother to check reviews befor...

The ONE time I don't bother to check reviews before ordering and now I'm regretting it. Been shopping online for about 18 years and this is the first time I feel like a fool for not doing my homework.

I am in the same boat as others here, having placed an order and now in the seemingly eternal 'in processing' queue, wondering if/when I'll get my order. I guess what stings is I've ordered from some pretty questionable looking places but at least I knew I was taking a risk (and only once in my life did I have to file a claim with PayPal for a $5 item from overseas). But the SaffireBlue website just looks so legit and professional that I let my guard down.

I ordered from another site (Canwax) that states upfront they're experiencing delays due to the Christmas rush and my order was still processed and shipped within three days. This leads me to believe that SaffireBlue doesn't take their online business too seriously. Or they only have one person filling orders part time. Same thing, really. The fact they don't simply inform customers about lengthy processing delays upfront seems a bit shady.

Thankfully my daughters and I will get to have our bath bomb making party for Christmas gifts in time (thanks to a different company), but I feel bad for those who rely on SaffireBlue for their own businesses.

**UPDATE**

I received my order two weeks after placing. Order was incomplete and emailed to let them know. Advised missing items would be sent when in stock (and they did arrive a few days later). Since the customer service rep had this information, it would've been helpful to have been advised in advance. To be fair, the customer service rep I dealt with was professional and polite.

I think the fundamental issue is that communication practices are poor before and after ordering, which leads to an overall unsatisfactory experience. The quality of the items is good so upgrading from one to two stars, but I would hesitate to order again because when I order online I want to buy with confidence and with this company it would feel like a crapshoot. If you want a high star rating you have to earn it by providing the customer with a great experience, which is not just about how fast you can deliver items but also about keeping the customers in the loop by having clear, upfront communication.

I will Never order from Saffire blue again. The products and prices are good but the service terrible. They would never deviate from their policys and send partially filled orders with back ordered items. If the item isn't in stock it should indicate that on the website when you order it so at least give the customer a chance to choose something else. It took 2 1/2 weeks to receive my order and when I received it today there were things missing that are on back order which I need for Christmas. Now I'm going to have to look around for this item elsewhere as I don't trust Saff8re blue to get it out to me before Christmas. Frustrating the customer really isn't good for business.
Update to this review: As of Dec 29 I still have not received my back ordered item or a reply to my email 7 days ago. I suggest checking the better business bureau website to review all the complaints filed against this business before placing an order. Update June 2018- I finally received my back ordered item in Jan. I had ordered somewhere else as I needed this for Christmas. When Saffire Blue finally sent it it was the wrong colour. I filed a complaint with the BBB, I wanted a refund on this item. Never received refund or a satisfactory response.

I'd like to post a very honest and neutral review because after reading all the negative reviews on here I was worried, but then pleasantly surprised by Saffire Blue (not to mention it seems most reviewers are either people with a fantastic experience or a terrible experience).

I placed my order online on May 27 and called in my credit card. The next day the status showed as "picking inventory". I read online lots of people saying it took awhile to ship so I gave it two weeks at which point it still said picking order.

On June 11 I called and spoke to a lady who looked into it and said they had been waiting on one of the packaging items I ordered but that shipment was supposed to arrive that day, and so my order would be mailed the next day.

One week later and my order still said picking inventory, so I called and spoke to a gentleman this time. He took my name, number and order number and said he would look into it right away and get back to me. A couple hours later I got an email saying my order was shipped, along with the tracking number.

I received my package two days later.

The two individuals I dealt with were both very pleasant, kind and helpful. The helped me in giving me the information I needed. My package included everything I had ordered (no errors or anything missing as others have said), and everything was great quality at a great price.

I'm giving them 4 stars because of the length of time from ordering to receiving my order (25 days). If you need anything right away , I would say look elsewhere but if you can wait it's definitely worth it. If I'm ever not in a rush for anything but want it at a good price I will definitely order from Saffire Blue again. I would encourage everyone not to be turned off by some of these reviews!!

Order placed early June 2018 did not arrive by mid August. All items were indicated as in stock. Numerous emails and phone contacts with company did not indicate when items were going to ship. When I phoned, the answering machine informed me they only respond to emails. I filed complaint with PayPal. PayPal reimbursed me in full within about 5 business days. Moral -- always use payment service with protection guarantee.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY ! I AM FILING A CONSULMER COMPLAINT. I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING WITH THEM FOR THREE MONTHS AND DIDN'T GET MY PRODUCTS! I asked and called several times, a the receptionist was so rude, and unable to provide me with any type of response. I asked her what am I supposed to do hun, as a reflex , and she answered me shouting DO NOT CALL ME HONEY IT IS CONDESCENDING , I AM DIRECTING YOU TO CUSTOMER SERVICE BYE. It is rude to treat a customer this way.

When I mentioned that I needed the product as soon as possible and whether it was possible, I got no response. I had to order from somewhere else, and also had to change my orders to late shipping dates to accustom the situation. My business has lost $700 because of their inability to provide me with the products and inability to communicate with us.
As soon as the receptionist was rude, and I wrote a letter that I was filing a complaint with Ontario consumer services, they gave me back my refund. They didn't even apologize.

If you've never been here, let me tell you right now, you're dealing with a bunch of rubes and rednecks who have ZERO experience in running a business.

The owner of the company read the book "The Four Hour Work Week" and thought it'd be fun to start a business that would require no involvement on his part and that customer service is a waste of overhead.

Look at all the one-star reviews, genius.

Worst Customer Service ever! It's been over a month since I placed my order. No update provided on order. I have called every day for the past 2 weeks and tried every extension - no one is getting back to me. I've opened a ticket through their website - no response. I've filled out their contact form on their website about 20 times - no response. I've emailed about 15 times - no response. I have been a customer of this company for over 3 years and they have lost my business.

BE CAREFUL This company is not easy to deal with if orders do not get filled as expected. I placed an order in May, the total amount of the order came off my Credit card very quickly but my order took forever to arrive. It was 7 weeks before I saw it, and than one item was not available and not shipped. There has been no credit on my credit card even thought I have brought this to their attention in writing three times and have made phone contact twice. Of course they tell you over the phone that it needs to be in writing. So I'm done with this company and if you are thinking about it - think twice.

Carrier oils come in clear bottles and smell rancid. The Sea buckthorn berry oil is "cold pressed" apparently, though only CO2 extraction is possible for the berry oil so they must have gotten theirs from another dimension. The aforementioned oil I received has copper glitter in it and possibly dye. I kid you not, it's shimmering! It's probably canola.

Bizarre company. Lesson learned. New Directions or Voyageur Soap and Candle folks.

Worst customer service available. In one day, I used 3 methods attempting to contact this company. The only response I got was on Facebook telling me they couldn't help me, but would forward the message. 24 hours later with no response from either email or voice mail - I asked the social media team how long a response generally takes as I was getting quite frustrated after being advised that products ship within 10-12 business days, today being 19 business days. When given no answer to the question of how long the reply would take but told once again they would let someone know I had emailed them I told them I won't be ordering again as they aren't helpful and no need for responding as I had FINALLY gotten the shipping email by time they responded. . The rep choose to take this personally - telling me I didn't need to be rude - it's truthful! I will certainly be going ANYWHERE else.

This is the absolute worse company that I have had the misfortune to deal with. I order things online all the time. I usually receive things within a week. I have been waing for my oder for three weeks and I have see neither hide nor hair of it. They take forever to answer their emails too. Even if their products turn out to be good. How can I order anything from such an unreliable company? I'm very disappointed. I have customers waiting for my products. I can't wait forever for my things to come.

If I could rate 0/5 I would. I ordered products back within the first two weeks of January, and within 3 days it said "picking inventory". It's February 6, and it STILL says "picking inventory". I have left two voicemails, to which only my first got a call back for, the woman stating "oh they should be ready in a few days". I asked "what does a few days mean? Do you mean business days? Is there a guaranteed date?" and she ignored both questions, stating "yeah so it'll just be a few days".

I feel like they just want to take your money and run...though thankfully you don't need to pay first for your order if you're picking up. I'll never use this site again, and would much rather pay a little more for better service, and folks that CARE to get back to you. If you run a business, I highly suggest looking elsewhere for your ingredients, or you might be waiting months to receive it!

I'll only be shopping at New Directions now. Thanks for messing up so bad that you made it clear to me.

Hands down the worst experience I have had with an online company. I contacted SaffireBlue prior to placing an order to let them know that I needed the product in a hurry. They told me no problem, I then placed my large order and called to ask for a rush delivery which they accepted. They sent a small portion of my order as most of the items ordered were out of stock. When I called they said it was my fault for requesting a rush order that if I had waited I would have received all items. I was also told about their hidden 20% restocking fee which miraculously appears on your invoice after you're done buying. I emailed and called numerous times for service, on one call I was called a liar for saying that I was promised delivery on a specific day!!! I finally managed to receive my order with 3 of the wrong items. A week later, I'm still trying to get a response from them on how to return the items.They will probably charge me 20% restocking fee for their error....I'm still waiting. Do yourself of favour, DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Update: This has been going on for over 2 months and still not resolved. I sent pictures of the product they sent me and they agreed to take it back. They told me they would arrange for pickup - it never happened. I still have the product to return at my place. I think the best thing to do is not deal with them and file a complaint with BBB and a dispute through MasterCard.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Buyers who purchased any products from here need to call their credit card company and initiate a dispute. I placed an order back in the beginning of August and it has yet to be filled. According to Visa rules, they need to ship within 14 days of billing you (or something along those time frames.) You also need to demonstrate that you tried getting in contact with them to resolve the issue.

After 2.5 months, my order is showing a refund in progress. Visa had already reversed the charges. So no need to sweat the loss money!!!

Hope this alleviates some stress for some of you :-) It's disgusting that a company in this day and age would resort to these tactics.

Terrible. I ordered $70+ worth of fragrance oils as the website created the impression that these were essential oil blends. Turns out they are highly toxic and have caused an ongoing 3-day headache and rashes on my skin.

After requesting to return these, they emailed me: "Please note that we are unable to accept returns on any cosmetic ingredient, fragrance oil, essential oil, candle wax, candle colours, or candle wicks."

The essential oil I bought also feels contaminated with chemicals and I wont be using it. However, the Aloe Butter is very nice :) Still, not nice enough to be using this company again.

Terrible customer service. I had a poor first experience with them but thought I would try again and give them the benefit of the doubt.

This time I had to get my credit card company involved as they charged my credit card the date of purchase but I received no confirmation or communication from them as to order status or shipment status. After 16 days of zero communication (after I left voice mail, and emails inquiring the status of my order) I called my credit card company to dispute the charge and what do you know I get an email later that day saying my shipment is on its way!

Never again will I do business with this company. Sorry.

STAY AWAY FROM SAFFIRE BLUE!!! Items are never instock. They've got no problem taking your hard earned money but they won't send you an email stating your product(s) are on back order at the time of purchasing. Instead they send you a note along with your incomplete order letting you know after the fact and give you a choice of either waiting until they receive the product to ship the product(s) or a refund. In which they charge you a 20% restocking of your total order which was never instock in the first place. What kind of Cartel is this!?!

Honestly I wrote a terrible review before this and I'm changing it. Just to say even though they charged me 200 for my order and never sent it to me and then never answered me back for months and months.. however just the other day after going through the dispute with my bank and someone finally answering the phone at saffire blue and then waiting another couple months I did indeed get my money back and that I am grateful for. I will not buy from them again. Shame!

for over two years, my orders have been processed promptly and goods arrive approximately 7 days after placing the order. Lately, especially after they started touting "rush processing" my order has been sitting in different queues A through to D, 10 days post-payment without being sent. This is ridiculous and not the way to generate income. I will now order from New Aromatics... they may be pricier but at least the goods will arive on time.

Honestly, people are so mean to this company. They have been struggling since a flood totally destroyed their warehouse. KAREN think twice about reporting and not being KIND to this small 100% CANADIAN SMALL BUSINESS trying to do their best despite horrible tragedy. Their warehouse had a FLOOD. I met the owners in person and I will tell you they are honestly trying to make an honest living and run a good business! They are passionate about what they do. They are people with feelings like you and me. They have been very hurt by all the haters who tried to tank their business after the flood happened...so sad. People need to stop and think about the fact that this business is run by REAL people with feelings, who experienced REAL hardship. I have ordered thousands of dollars of product from Saffire Blue and have never been disappointed with the products I received. Sometimes, it takes longer. But order fulfillment is accurate and very good. But I have found that kindness goes a long way in dealing with them - treat them kindly like you would want to be treated. I always get what I ordered, and their products are really top quality! It's a bit slower than others sometimes, but the prices are great. Just factor the time lag into your ordering choices - trade-off. Just understand, it's a business run by real people with real feelings, who are doing their very best. I looked the owners in the eye and I respect them so much. It's terrible that people didn't have their back when they experienced hardship...Give them some slack. Support Canadian small business...Nuff said.

I have been a customer of this company for 4 years...

I have been a customer of this company for 4 years. My customer experience has changed a lot in that 4 years. In their favour, they have a great selection of high quality products at good prices and they package their products well for shipping. I had a few occasions where the wrong product was shipped and after a quick phone call, they shipped the proper product for free, usually the same day. Their communications have usually been quick and courteous. When I started ordering from them it typically took about 2 days before my order was picked (fulfilled in their terminology), so if I ordered on a Monday, it would be picked and shipped by Wednesday. The shipping method I choose takes two days, so my order would be received on Friday. Over time, the processing time grew to 3 days, then 5, then 7 and even 10. I understood. It's busier at some times of the year. They did expand to a larger warehouse a few years ago, and I'd had hopes that it would mean hiring more staff and thus, more timely processing. Sadly, this isn't the case. On November 5, I placed an order, and chose not to pay the extra $10 for rush processing. On November 28th, my order was still not showing in fulfillment, so I contacted them by e-mail to see if there might be something on backorder. The response received that day was that it was in fulfillment and would be shipped in 24-48 hours. On December 5th I sent yet again another e-mail, as it hadn t yet shipped, as I had been advised. I was again told that it was in fulfillment. The order was picked and the courier was contacted on December 12th. This company used to be very pleasurable to deal with, but the past year has seen changes, and not for the better. My opinion is that that money and volumes have become more important to them than a good customer experience. I expect the people writing good reviews about fast service are those who pay the $10 to have their orders processed before the ones not paying the fee. I don't feel it should be necessary to pay extra. IMO, if a company has so much business that it can't get an order shipped after 7 days, then more staff are needed. I m also displeased with their new policy of charging a "small order fee" of $25 for orders under $75. People like myself who make soap or lotions for personal and family use don't want to make large orders. Of course, I made an order for $75 because if I'm going to be charged the $25, I may as well get product for it. I am very disappointed in how much this company has changed. I will be finding new suppliers.

I have been using Saffire Blue as my main supplier for years. The product selection is superior and the prices are unbeatable. I love the selection of fragrance oils - many I use in my formulation for my business. They also have a wide variety of packaging with a selection of compatible closures. I find their processing time to be normal. I do use other suppliers and they ship within the same timeframe. I have been issued backorders for out of stock items which I received when they are available again. I have been told they are issuing backorders against policy while they hammer out their hiccups. I urge everyone to give them a try and base their own opinion on their own experience. In my opinion, the poor reviews left about this business are perhaps from those who typically deal with Amazon or are hobbyists (not professional business formulators) Note: this company is not Amazon as Amazon is a huge company and cannot be compared on the same scale. Other suppliers would have difficulty keeping up with the turnaround time that Amazon currently works. I love that this business is Canadian.

I hadn't read the reviews up until now, I wish I had! Shipping was amazing, I did purchase a rush order and it got to me in 2 days which was beyond belief.

However, there were 2 missing items in my order, which were backordered. It wasn't mentioned anywhere that there were 2 items backordered on my receipt or the email confirmation they sent. I contacted them via email and they told me I could get a refund, which is also lovely. I then realized upon opening other products that I had ordered that 2 items didn't have the protective sealer cap on, which I can't use, for hygienic purposes, I do not know if they were contaminated. I've emailed once again and no answer. It has been two weeks and I still do not have a refund.

I called the business number and the woman told me there was nothing she could do, that I was to keep emailing. That is how they resolve their issues. She said they have been getting a lot of angry customers lately because things were in back order (which should be announced on their website, but it isn't) , and to 'try and not to be too rude' via email otherwise it might go ignored. That is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. Not very much prone to making your customers happy and having returning clients. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I ordered several items from Saffire Blue for my daughters Science Fair Project. When the items didn't arrive within the expected timeframe, I contacted them to ask about my order. They replied to my initial email by stating their standard processing time (7-10 business days) but did not provide an answer about my order (which was still waiting to be processed after 10 business days). I emailed them again, and did not receive a reply. Then I called them (several times), and did not receive a reply. I am still waiting for a reply and my order...
If you want to pay for something then be ignored when placing an inquiring, then this is the company for you.
So much for trying to support a Canadian Company...

Buyer beware. Used to be a good company to deal with - not anymore. The shipping itself is fast once they fulfill the order, which can take WEEKS and it still may be missing items because they don't update their website to display what is out of stock. So you can receive an order after a lengthy delay with items missing and no heads up - even the refund can take weeks. They couldn't care less if you are screwed as a result.
