The food is always good at The Reef! As is the wait staff, the all know their job well and are very nice, fun people.

Highly recommend try the Sunday brunch We also had an Anniversary dinner there and it was outstanding!! Our waiter Ryan was excellent! I think this is now my favorite Restaurant by far the best!!

This place has amazing views and amazing food 10/10 would recommend

I had the prime rib mushroom appetizer and it was great..the bartender/manager is very arrogant and not likeable.

Right on the beach. Lovely outside deck for dining. Food was delicious. Salmon very nice, but the scallops were under cooked. Priced just a tiny bit high for lunch. Over all a good place to eat.

Excellent fare and great service! We asked to dine on the porch but was warned off due the insects. Located just a short walk from our Campground, it was very conveniently located. We'll be back and, hopefully, sit on the porch.

The meal was good and the view was awesome, but we waited 30 minutes before our waiter spoke to us.

Service was horrible. Food subpar. Fish was rubbery and tasted very fishy. Not what you would expect from a restaurant on the ocean.

We usually go for the buffet or a late lunch on the deck. It's not what it used to be in our opinion as both food and prices have suffered. Brunch selection and quality is reduced and it's not the same bang for the buck. The best feature now is the excellent service.

Please update your search engine hours to reflect that you're closed from 2-4 pm. We just drove from Jax and were turned away.

First time there. Went for lunch. Food was delicious. Ben, our server, was excellent. Very personable. Highly recommend.

My family and I ate here minivacation...the Seabass was wonderful..child portions were great...Service and personnel were great...the hostess was very nice. Waiter was James he was great.

Promises of 5 star experience are delivered by the service staff, but the entrees left a lot to be desired. A sauteed fish should not be served if it has clearly been fried. Quite disappointed in the food as I could have gotten the same entree in a diner for half the price, but the service was great.

Website did not say reservations require. Arrived just as they opened, only two customers in the restaurant with none coming in. Hostess tells us only available is outside or next available inside is 145. Brunch ends at 2pm. Not the nicest personality. Preparing for a large event - will find another venue.

The shrimp and grits were so spicy I couldn't eat them. Restaurant seems like it's stuck in 1985. Very few patrons on a Saturday night

Frequent here a lot. One of my favorite places to go as you just can't be the gorgeous ocean view! We were a little disappointed they were out of salmon as that's our favorite but understandably as we were there late evening and still on a modified menu.

Great brunch, all you can eat crab legs and unlimited champagne.

This has been one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. I travel to different states every weekend for work. So I get to taste alot of different foods. But recently My Girlfriend and I celebrated our 5 Year Anniversary. We we're seated and within a couple seconds our server Scott came and greeted us. He was very attentive and friendly. Florida is our home state but we have never been to St. Augustine. So while waiting on our food, Scott(Our Server) wrote down a list of cool things to do! Now... What we've all been waiting for. The Food. I am a big Fillet Mignon Guy. I get it wherever it's available. This was the best Filet I have ever had. My girlfriend got the Seafood Pasta which was also amazing. We also went the next morning for Easter Sunday Breakfast and they had a Breakfast Buffett of fresh food. To no surprise it was also amazing. A lot to choose from. Amazing Place 10/5 Stars for me.

Food is good. Service is Horrible. I had to ask twice for cocktail sauce. We had to find our server to get our check. Pricey! It was very noisy inside this establishment. We felt as if they didn't want us in here.

We were on our way to another local restaurant when our Uber driver suggested this instead. We are so glad she did!! We had an amazing dinner and just overall experience. Our waitress, Jeanne, was fantastic. She did not rush us at all and mad fabulous recommendations. We almost had the outside to ourselves (Sept) and it was a view to brag about! We started with the mussels, which were the best we ever had. The seafood stew was wonderful with a great spice to it. We had the scallops, which were perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were wonderful. We ended the evening with the orange cake and espresso. Truly, an amazing evening and we can t say enough about how much we loved our waitress and how she made the experience that much better!

Eating on the deck is fantastic and the food is pretty good. The prices are a little steep.

Food was decent, crowd was elderly! My husband and I were the you best people by several decades.

Will not be returning. We were ignored when we arrived. The manager took 10 minutes to come speak with us and there were only 3 tables of guest at the time (during lunch). Food is okay and server was inattentive. Too pricey for quality they serve. Manager didn't really seem to care about our comments or the poor service. There are 2 other restaurants within 2 minutes from there that have great food, great service and ambience on the intracoastal.

The Reef is awesome! My husband and I always go here for all our special occasions. Today we celebrated Valentine's day. Amazing brunch!

Tasty but overpriced.. left hungry and the menu said it came with shrimp but only two pieces on my place...bummer

Been dying to go here, being all alone I have been waiting for the opportunity, it came last Friday. My Daughter in law was in town. We went here for dinner and it didn't disappoint! We had a short wait and decided to savor a drink in the well appointed bar area. We requested outdoor seating and in 30 minutes just as the hostess said, we got seated.
What a lovely place. If you don't like the ocean, or looking at the sand and the waves breaking on the beach and some of the best seafood you have ever had, don't go, however, if like me you like all the above, emphasis on best seafood, well go now!
We started our meal with calamari, which was good, nothing out of the ordinary, then I moved onto Tuna Steak which was, as requested, seared on both sides served with a tangy dipping sauce, a little seaweed, green beans and rice pilaf.
It was soooo very very good! A larger than normal piece of Sushi Grade Tuna and it was perfect!!!
Even though the restaurant was very full our server, I believe his name was Dan, was excellent. He answered all our questions and made some suggestions and was very attentive. Our hot bread was delicious, and our water glasses kept full.
The Reef has an excellent wine list, plus a very varied mixed drinks list as well as craft and regular beers.
We were much too full for dessert but another time and there will be another time!

Excellent location to enjoy sunset and a good dinner. We both had fish. It was well prepared. Staff was friendly. Construction nearby made parking a little challenging but that should be remedied soon.

Outstanding seafood restaurant on the ocean nearby St. Augustine, Fla.

Beautiful spot on the ocean , a nice menu but , management and operational staff ( except one hardworking waitress ) should not be in the hospitality business.
Our table was never serviced by any of the 3 individuals that seemed to be doing absolutely nothing except standing around gossiping at the Hostess stand.
This establishment is in great need of some in house training and much more dedicated staff. Even though I called ahead for a reservation we were seated at the least desirous table in the room in full view of the kitchen door and hostess stand. ( that s why I could observe the business end of this eatery ).

The outdoor seating is amazing on a clear night. The food isn't nearly as good. This restaurant has a great menu but fails to deliver a product that matches the price tag.

I ordered the Citrus Salmon and was served a piece of very undercooked salmon that was still cold on the inside. After sending it back I was given a piece of salmon that had been cooked past well done. Total price for 6oz of bad fish, a hand full of fried spinach, 4 slices of mandrin oranges from a can and 3 oz of grits - 24$

I have the Seafood Trio with lobster, scallops and shrimp. Wife has prime rib. Both were very good. The ocean was right outside our window. Good service.

Amazing views, amazing food, amazing staff. What more can someone ask for? Check out the Mahi Mahi and the Cheesecake. Both are amazing.

They don't have crab and pimento cheese dip anymore. The spinach and artichoke dip is good, though you can get that anywhere. I didn't care for the coleslaw. It was rather dry and vinegary compared to the slightly sweet, creamy coleslaw I'm used to eating. The crab cake sandwich was okay but I ended up ditching the bun because the bun swallowed up the delicious flavors of the crab cake and the sauce they put on it. I love the atmosphere here. Will definitely come again. Service was awesome. Good music. Thanks!
