I purchased a dog kennel from Tractor Supply and requested the home assembly by Assemblers Inc. Tractor supply did their part perfectly. The equipment was delivered on time. Then here comes the weekend. Saturday 2/26/2022 10 AM to 2 PM, they do not show up. Tractor Supply got ahold of them and the CLAIMED that it was scheduled for between 10 AM and 2 PM on Sunday, 2/27/2022! There was NOTHING I could do about it, and they wasted my Saturday for me. Here comes Sunday,,,,,,,,,,I get there at 10 AM and waited until 4:23 PM!!!!! The NEVER showed! No call, no text, no email and Tractor Supply could not reach them!!!!!!!!~ This is truly fly-by-night behavior and they should not be permitted to do business in the State of California!!!!!

I waited two months for a treadmill that never arrived. Spent an absurd amount of time calling assemblers inc. and waiting on hold only to be told my delivery would be scheduled within seven days. Ultimately cancelled my order and then spent more of my time fighting to return the treadmill that was no longer in Academy's possession. Time is money. Stay far away from this one.

As soon as he heard there was a problem, he was at our house in 20 minutes to fix our situation himself and spent time showing us how use the grill. That part was excellent. Like others who have posted here, I have had a horrible time getting service. I paid for a warranty on my elliptical, but it has been down for over three months! The serviceman who responded ordered parts. After they arrived, I have been unable to get anyone to do the repair. That was in October and this is January. No one returns my calls.

They were assigned by Walmart to fulfill warranty repairs. Their customer service is really polite, I give them that. But they're very disorganized. Appointments sent in the email aren't met, I have to call many times to find what the status is. Phone calls are a test of patience, having to wait online for up to 40 minutes at times, to finally get somebody to answer. It's been almost a month now since I filed the claim, and still waiting...

I have worked for Assemblers Inc. for 10 years and I love my job! I've seen this company grow year after year and I'm proud to be part of the process. I work with a great team, who's led by a fantastic woman! The owner, Mike is a great guy and treats us like family. I couldn't ask for a better employer!

We have ordered a basketball hoop assembly, paid it and set three day windows in late April. They didn't show up and apologized after an-hour-wail calls, but didn't show up. Now its mid-June. They haven't responded to my emails so far. You can guess what kind of company you are dealing with. I would like to give a zero out of five.

Updates - it's already late July. No contact and no show-up almost over three months . The worst service I ever had. I would give a minus five star.

Please Please read the reviews before scheduling any service with this company. If I would have read the reviews first, I would never have wasted my time scheduling with such and unprofessional, unreliable company. I'm surprised they are still in business. If I could give a 0 for the review I would. We scheduled our service on June 23, 2020, two weeks in advance of our assembly date of July 6 and paid in advance...$329. They gave us a window between 12-6 pm. We waited for the technician all day and he was a NO SHOW and NO CALL. Who conducts business like this in 2020? We emailed the company the next day to request a refund and they offered some half apology...no explanation saying why the technician never showed or never called. Again, read the reviews and save your time and money...it's just not worth the energy when there are so many other reliable companies that want to work and do great business...unfortunately, they definitely are not one of those companies.

Upon arrival I was put in a conference room for 15 minutes, which the wait was apologized for. I had to have an elliptical fixed. The guy came out and vharged me $120 just for coming out. He ordered the part needed. He told me i would same money by installing it myself. Which he showed me how to do it. We installed it. Still the thing did not work. So we called him again. Came out and charged us again $120. Said he had ordered the wrong part. Ordered another. Said that he could not guarrantee the previous job because we had installed the part. Well, why did he not tell me that from the beginning?? So we had to pay for the new part. We finaly spent more than $1000 on fixing our elliptical. He ordered the wrong part to start with. We were never compensated for that. And that part we installed functioned fine. We were very unhappy that they took no respnsiblity for the wrong part being ordered and 3 call out fees by the time that the second part was installed. Still now the eliiptical has no programs besides manual. We paid $1000 for that???!! We are very unhappy with their service. They should take respnsibility for their mistakes.

Please DO NOT make the same mistake I did and use Assemblers Inc. They are the absolute WORST COMPANY in the United States. That should be their new company slogan. That is something they could probably live up to. I bought a basketball goal on Amazon and contacted Assemblers Inc. to install. They sent 1 guy out to do a job clearly meant for 2 people, it even says it all over the boxes. Even the man they sent out said Assemblers does that all the time and he knew he would need help eventually. I told him just to come get me if he needed help lifting...even though that's what I paid Assemblers to do. He was a nice enough guy, but as I left him to his work he proceeded to install the concrete in a manner that my 11 year old son could have done. Not formed in any manner and completely un-level. I watched a YouTube video that evening to confirm that it was imperative that this part be level. I don't even think they guy had forms or a level with him. That afternoon he knocked on my door and told my wife he would be back in 4 days to finish the job after the concrete dried. When I got home I went outside and saw the awful job he did. He left the pile of dirt blocking my gate which he was suppose to carry off with him and 10 empty concrete bags scattered all over my driveway that I got to pick up. I waited until the 4 days past as I was going to discuss with him when he showed back up my concerns. However, he didn't show up on the 4th day, or the 5th day. At that point I called, texted and emailed Assemblers and have received no response. Now I have to have someone break the concrete up to redo what he did, I just hope the parts in the concrete can be used again and I don't have to reorder. What a nightmare! Vote Assemblers Inc for the WORST COMPANY in the United States...you can vote by not ordering from them. Show them that companies like this don't deserve your hard earned money.

Wish there were 0 stars and that I had read the reviews before paying the fee for assembly from Home Depot. The only reason it sounded nice was because they said I was to be contacted within 48 hours of my purchase to be scheduled. 3 calls (all 30 minutes on hold while at work) just to hear a run around every time. This was a Father s Day present and was delivered on Tuesday 6/4 with plenty of time to be assembled before 6/16. Now we just have lots of big boxes laying around on our patio. Guess I ll put a bow on those and say Happy Father s Day tomorrow... this company is a scam and I will be going to Home Depot to ask for a refund and to advise them of what terrible service their affiliate offers. Very disappointing!

This has been the worst customer service I've ever experienced!! I have tried on numerous occasions to have Service manager James Nix help me resolve this issue.. I've requested to speak with the company President/Ceo Mike Giaccone but I haven't had any luck reaching him.. hopefully he will see this review & contact me. I purchased a treadmill & stationary bike from Academy Sports back in Dec. 2018 I was scheduled for a delivery & assembly on Jan.4, 2019 between 10am - 2pm no one showed up or called me. I called cust. at 2:15pm they said the tech was running late & they would have to reschedule me for another day. After complaining about waiting all day they sent the tech he didn't arrive till 3:15pm & didn't finish till 6:05pm.The tech backed his truck into my basketball goal & bent the goal post... I called cust. service & reported the incident & sent pictures.. about 2 weeks later they reimbursed my delivery & assembly payment & said they would replace my basketball goal.. this happened Jan. 4,2019 & today is May 13, 2019 they have been giving me the runaround since Jan. to replace my basketball goal that their tech damaged! They don't return my calls or text messages their voicemails are always full & they very rarely answer when I call. I'm beginning for someone to help me resolve this issue!! Thanks!

Worst service EVER!!! I purchased a BBQ from Home Depot & paid for home assembly. BBQ was delivered on 6/6/19 and I was to be notified by Assemblers Inc. within 24-48 hours. I was never contacted. I have called several times, been on phone each time about 40 mins, disconnected, they marked my file complete, promised to contact me, never did, I had to call about 5 different times with the help of Home Depot. Finally they were to install yesterday between 2-5pm. They called me at 5pm and said they would be here at 8:30pm. My husband said "forget it. We're done." We had to cancel 3 events because we had no BBQ and we are so disappointed AND that Home Depot continues to use these people that we will probably no longer do business with Home Depot either.

Order a treadmill on May 8 2019 from academy. Academy stated I had to use this company to deliver and assemble the treadmill. I was asked from my 3 available days for delivery. I told them on May16,17,18. I spoke with someone on the 16 they stated I would get a call from the tech in 32 hours. No call. I spoke to someone on the 17, they stated I would get a call in 72 hours.

At this point still no call. My son wants to return the treadmill. I feel the news need to know how we are being treated. I have read some of the reviews an they are bad. I'm going to need a refund.

The following day I received a confirmation for my scheduled appointment. On the day of my appointment the technician arrived on time and was super polite and got the job done quickly. I was going to give 1 star in the beginning, BUT I have changed my mind because the Assembler, Tim was AWESOME, VERY PROFESSIONAL, and KNOWLEDGEABLE. He was late, but he gave reasoning in great detail and still got the job done. Thanks to Tim for putting together my treadmill, now I'm able to get back on my fitness regimen! DO NOT USE - This company was booked for me through Amazon home installation services for the simple job of assembling a treadmill. I cleared my schedule for the 2pm-5pm window for the technician. No Call/No Show. I was told the reason for no notification was a "software glitch". I was also told I would receive a call the next day, which did not happen (I had to call again) and was told even though a tech is in my area that the company cannot/will not send the tech to assemble it since they are too busy. This company cost me money and has blown up the better part of a day for me. DO NOT USE.

I read all these reviews before calling to make an appointment, and that was the first mistake i made. I purchased a swing play-set from amazon and I called to get a quote for the installation. set up an appointment for Wednesday and pre-paid in advance and I was told someone would call me in a day or 2 to confirm the appointment. 3 days later on Monday I called back because no one called me, and I was reassured everything was good and that I would get a call back. Tuesday I called back and I spoke to a young lady who also assured me everything was on track for Wednesday. so I took off Wednesday to make sure I would be home because I was told the technician would only complete the job if someone was home. so I waited for 4 hours and i never heard anything. finally I called and the technician said he will be there in an hour. 2 hours later I called again and now the technician says he cant make it and we should reschedule for a week later, and then he also decided that was the right time to inform his manager and me that was he was in the hospital on Sunday and he was behind on his work for 3 days. I lost a day of work for nothing. not to mention I called every day to confirm only to waste my time. everyone please be aware. I got my money back but was a total epic fail. if I could give this company 0 stars I would based my on experience.

I purchased on 4/16/19 a Spalding permanent basketball goal from the Academy Sports Center in Knoxville. The total for this purchase was $1638.74. I was told someone from Assemblers Inc would call me in the next 3 days to schedule installation. Someone did call and said that a crew would be out to mark for digging in a couple of days. No one showed up or called. I called back on May 14, 2019, and spoke with Nick. He got the Area Manager Anthony Watson involved who sent me a text saying the local installer Bobby Montgomery would be coming to set up the installation. Bobby called me and said he would be there on Friday, May 17, 2019, to begin the installation. I paid Assemblers Inc $489 via credit card for this work upfront. We are now over 30 days from when I purchased this equipment! This installer was the worst. He had no way to get rid of the dirt from the hole he dug so I had to provide him with a place to put the dirt. I directed him to a place on my property to put the dirt. He put it in the wrong spot so I had to move 12 wheelbarrow loads of dirt. I have a sealed painted driveway; the installer mixed the concrete on my driveway and left concrete dust all over the driveway which both hardened on my driveway and got tracked all over my driveway. I know have to pressure wash my entire driveway to get it cleaned. He also dropped one of his tools on my driveway so now I have a 3" diameter piece missing out of my driveway. He made NO effort to clean up the job site. Additionally, he had a helper who brought his kids to my house who were running all over the place. On Monday, May 20, 2019, he returned to assemble the system. He left the glass backboard smeared with dirt and fingerprints and made again no effort to clean up the job site. After he left my son tried to use the crank mechanism to adjust the goal and found it did not work so now, I have to fix it. I am TOTALLY dissatisfied with this process. It will take me much longer to clean up this disaster than if I had just installed it myself!

I purchased a treadmill for assembly. Paid them $75 bucks and extra $30 due to they only cover 25 miles. A technician so called called me and left a message. Both of my phones do not have voicemail and both have caller id and call waiting. So unless he called someone else but he flat out lied in an email to his dispatcher that he called me. I worked from home today and I had my house phone and cell in front of me. No phone call! It is a shame that the tech lied. If you call one number , why dont call the other when I requested them to do. Other than that, Markisha helped me out a lot and another young lady at Assemblers customer service. Kudos to them and I was pleased with them than technician ( I know his name, but I am going to spare him the embarrassement). If this don't get resolved. I will call corporate and file some other legal forms.

The Home Depot messed my order up and delivered my grill without me knowing while I was out of town. Called this company after I got home and a very nice scheduler named Cruz was able to get someone to my house to assemble my grill the very next day! Very friendly staff and professional assembler highly recommended!

I was rescheduled 3 times due to weather. It didnt even rain 2 of those days...

A guy finally shows up, and tells me that there is a piece missing and he cant do the job, and leaves. I go out later to find the "missing piece" sitting right on top of the box.

When I called to tell them their guy lied and left I was given the run around.

I was told I would have to pay $50 to have another technician to come out, even though it was no fault of mine.

A district supervisor did come out after several phone calls complaining, and he put it together. (Still no pieces missing)

I paid $400 on December 20th, and had to wait until January 27th to have my playscape put together.

Seriously probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

Purchased a treadmill from academy sports and ordered the delivery and assembly package from assemblers inc. I never received my purchase. Called multiple times with no resolution. They told me everything was in the works and yet nothing was ever delivered. What was supposed to be delivered in a few days turned into 2 weeks of me calling and getting no solid answers. It's been a nearly a month since my original purchase and I'm still trying to get my money back.

I bought a grill from Home Depot on May 27th 2019. I received a call from assemblers inc two days later to schedule the grill to be assembled a week later. They said someone would be in contact with me for confirmation of time. No one called me to schedule so I called the company the day the assembly was scheduled to figure out the issue. Wait time was a half hour to talk to someone. The woman I talked to said she would contact me no later than 5pm that day to set something up. No call. I callled the next day and waited another half hour to talk to someone. This person told me she would be escalating to a supervisor and they would be in contact with me that day. No call. I called again 3 days later because I was out of town and waited 40 mins to talk to someone and I got hung up on and no one called me back. I called again the next day and waited 30 mins to talk to someone and they said they would call me back in an hour to give me a resoulution. No call back. In addition to all my phone calls I emailed customer service multiple times and no one got back to me. This company is unprofessional and a waste of time. Don t use them! Scam.

I wish I could give them NEGATIVE STARS as a review. I have called FOUR times after our grill had gotten delivered to see when they would be available to come put it together and remove our old one (the main reason for our app.). I told them three dates that would work for me.. TWO have passed and I still have not gotten a response. I even asked to speak to a manager or super visor and they said they would email one of the assembly people directly and include me in the email.... NOTHING. NO EMAIL. NO PHONE CALL BACK.

DO NOT USE THERE SERVICES... Unless you want to wait a month to get a reply back.

Worst customer service. Made an appointment that got pushed over a week out because they "don't book inside of 7 days". But then day of, we get bumped because someone called in a "short notice" assembly, that they claimed for us they don't do.
NO notice was given to us that we would be moved not only wasting my entire morning but now my afternoon as well. Very snooty customer service rep on the other end, trying to say that 'No one was to blame'. Their entire administration staff is to blame. If you have the option, take your business elsewhere! NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE!

I ve never had a such a horrible customer service like this. I ordered a machine at our local store at the beginning of the last month and they told me about this company. They told me just wait for a phone call and I just waited but Assemblers never contact me. Next week, I found a contact number and called them several times, but it was really difficult to contact. I had to call them and waited for 20 min to 40 min everytime, but they didn t answer the phone. Once the phone was got disconnected while they were typing my name into the system, but they never called me again on that day. (I didn t hung up the phone, and I spent about 40 minutes in touch with them that day, I was really tired of getting back in touch.) Again next week, they finally called me and I paid for the delivery and assembly costs. On that day I expected to make a schedule but they told me a technician would contact me in 24 to 48 hours to make an exact appointment but....the technician never called me next 8 days. I had to wait again. I still didn't get any contact so called them and said if I can t make a schedule today, I d like to cancel the order. What happened to my order? But I couldn t get a explanation. their system is too slow.... hahaha So I canceled the order and I m waiting for a refund. They said they will send me a confirmation for the cancellation by email but I haven t got yet. I do not want to call back again. I wasted my time last 3weeks and got so much stress. I don t understand how do they business like this. I think the people gave 5 stars are only their employee. Customers are angry and employees are happy! I d like to give them - stars if I could do. Please trust these reviews. I m not the person leave reviews, but this time I couldn t help but leave a review this time.

Stay away. If you work for them watch your money, they will screw you out of it, If you are a customer don't count on the in home dept to be professional and do what you request. The managment is poor at best, I wasted the last 3 years dealing with unprofessional people there. They add and add to the work load , but are to cheap to pay people for what they are actually worth. I used assemblers inc through amazon to install a trampoline for my kids for christmas. It was supposed to be a gift from santa and assembled BEFORE christmas day so they could wake up on that day, look outside and see their gift from santa. They were scheduled to come Dec 21st, however, the techician never called and never showed. HORRIBLE!! So now its not getting assembled until after christmas. And I paid in advance!

The worst. The very worst I have ever had for service. Horrible. I have a BBQ and a patio set purchased from Home Depot to my home. I have been waiting for 18 days for some one, anyone to get my merchandise assembled. Prepaid for this service. I have have held from 15 minutes to 50 minutes for an answer, get the same response each time. Oh we will move you to critical status . Still nothing. Took a day off work and called three times on just that day. Some one will call you in two hours then one hour the nothing. I will not ever use this service nor will i ever recommend them. I think this company might be a scam. I would avoid do business with them.

I hired and paid them $300 nearly 3 weeks ago to assemble a playset for my children. Bought the playset from Sam s. I had to call the main line five times (LONG wait times( to get an appt with the assembler, which was more than annoying. They claimed initially the assembler would contact me but it took me calling and calling to get the process moving.

I finally made contact with the assembler Dylan and set an appointment for which he just no showed me. When you attempt to call the main office line there s an 18 minute wait.

The receipt that was emailed to me at my request is unintelligible.

I will like need to dispute this with my cc company. Miserable experience and its my 3 young kids who are the victims of all of this.

These guys are pathetic. We had a window from 8-noon to have our trampoline installed. They never showed up. I had to call 4 times and each time they told me they would call me back. I finally called them back again and was told they could not be back out for another week. AVOID AT ALL COST.

We recently purchased a treadmill from the Academy store in Fort Worth. The assembly service was offered to us but we declined. After getting home we realized that putting this machine together was way to much for us. We went back to the store and got set up with Assemblers Inc. The customer service representative was very polite and set us up with the technician Cory. He arrived on time and put our machine together within an hour. We will definitely recommend them.

I paid for assembly of a grill, they scheduled a THREE DAY WINDOW, never called or showed up. then they apologizes and scheduled a fourth day and the AGAIN never called or showed up. when I talked to them again they said they had to contact dispatch to see if there was a technician available as if this was the first time they heard of my order. They are literally a time theif. Ened up returning everything. total waste of time, I hope this company goes out of business asap.

Terrible customer service! Started with the rep on the phone raising his voice to me when I was unclear what he was asking for and asked for clarification numerous times.

In addition, I was asked to provide 3 windows of 4 hours on 3 different days, for potential appointment and was told someone would call me to confirm which slot. This itself is highly unreasonable, and on top of that no one contacted me at all to confirm anything and I took an afternoon off work and tied up my entire weekend!

After the 4th phone call to customer service followed by half-hearted apologies and NO action I am about to ask Home Depot for a full refund and some compensation for all this hassle!

People that work here are successful when they are here to earn an opportunity or career, do not mind hard work, think outside-the-box, and operate with honesty and integrity. The sky is the limit for those who want it badly enough! I am beyond grateful for what this company continues to afford my family and I!

Still trying to get in touch with someone to come assemble my grill, after already paying 89 dollars for assembly fee. Grill was received on 6/5/19, and I was told that I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hrs. to schedule a date. Well this is my third time calling them back after I was told yesterday that I would be receiving a call back at 12 noon..... Guess what.... Never received that call. I wish I would have read these reviews. I have been getting the run around with these people. All you hear is someone will contact you and they don't. It's been 3 weeks and no one still have not contacted me about assembling my treadmill. I spoke to supervisor about refunding my money she will haven't seen my refund yet either. Bad experience.

Absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with in any part of my life. I do not know how they are in business. Oh wait, I guess because they take other people s money and don t provide the service paid for.
I took two different days off from work only for No Show! No call! I spend both days calling only to continue to get lied to by customer service in an effort to get off the phone with me. Their customer service operators and dispatchers lied to me every phone call.

Here is how the second day of lying went.
Promised that technician would arrive between 9am and 11am. (I had my doubts after being lied to and no show / no call the first time. However the customer service rep assured me she spoke with Steven the technician personally and he will be there!). Well 11am came and no show, no call. I called and explained the situation to the CS rep. She puts me on hold 15 mins and at 11:20 tells me the technician is 30 mins away! I figured this info must be corrected, 30 mins away.. she must have spoke to Steven right?? Well, 30 mins later still no technician. I called back again and explained the situation AGAIN! This CS rep puts me on hold for 30mins! So, now it s 12:30pm and she says she is sorry but the technician is running late but he will definitely be there by 5pm! Can you believe this!!?? You can t make this garbage up!
Well, guess what!? At 5pm I call CS AGAIN because you guessed it.. No technician!
ANOTHER 30 mins on hold!
The lady comes back on the phone and says the technician is 4 HOURS Away from me!

I just spent the entire day for the second time waiting on a technician to show up and getting lied to the entire day by customer service and dispatch. I blew two vacation days for this sorry good for nothing company.

So, after paying for a service in the middle of May, I still do not have my basketball goal up on July 3rd.

I should have took the advice of all the terrible reviews I read.

CONSIDER YOURSELVES WARNED. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ZERO STARS.

****WARNING**** Do not use this company! I bought a grill from Home Depot. With in 24 hours I received a call from a very nice women setting up an appointment for me to have my grill put together. I was told they would be at my house between 8 - 12 on Saturday. No show, no call. I then called Assemblers trying to find out where the tech was. The very rude lady puts me on hold for 10 minute, just to come back on to tell me that she couldn't get ahold of the tech because he's (probably) busy and that he would show up. Guess what? He didn't show. Do not know why Home Depot even does business with Assemblers Inc. Better bet I'm getting my $90 back.

I was having a horrible time getting an appointment for assembly of some patio furniture for the Fourth of July. Many calls were made, many someone will call in 24-48 hours and many disconnects. My patience level was depleted, until I called and was connected to KEVIN SHIPPY. Kevin went above and beyond contacting district managers etc until I finally got an appointment!!!! I thank you Kevin for your ability to make things happen, your professionalism and your know how. Maybe you should train your co workers...

They called to obtain payment in one day, I was told I would receive an email in 24-48 hours to set up delivery. It has been ELEVEN days with no email or return call. I have called numerous times and am always told that it has been assigned to the Area Manager Roy and to allow 24 hours. Each time, they will reach out to him and have him return my call today. Today they offer me a 20% discount for a service they cannot even schedule. No thanks, they say they will refund the payment. I obviously do not believe a word they say now, so I will be disputing with my credit card company and filing a complaint with Academy and the BBB. They do have a couple of polite ladies on the phone, I feel horrible for them having to take the calls for this company. Save your time and effort, do not use this company.

The other reviews that say DO NOT use this company are to be considered as I would advise all to definitely not use their services in the areas where other consumers are complaining. After a prolonged time period for Assemblers to deliver and install an item that I bought at a nationwide company, the retailer decided to provide their outstanding customer service and deliver and install the merchandise with no charges. Naturally, I called Assemblers and cancelled the services, but I had already (weeks before) paid them to deliver and install the merchandise. So I also asked that my credit card be credited because the services were cancelled. The nice lady I was speaking to assured me that my credit card would be credited. After a reasonable period, I checked to see if my account was credited and it WAS NOT. So I called the credit card company and cancelled the charges through the credit card company. By the way, during the attempt to get Assemblers to conduct their business, I tried speaking to supervisors and management and even the CEO, but extensions did not work and voice messages to call me were not returned. Of further interest, note that Assemblers responds to positive reviews and ignores the negative ones. It appears that in some parts of the country there is outstanding service, while in other parts of the nation, the performance is poor. Buyer and Retailers beware of Assemblers

Never showed up for an an installation appointment from amazon. I waited 4 hours and no one showed up. I called amazon to ask whats up and amazon called Assemblers Inc who was like Oh our bad maybe we can do it in 10 days from now... The appointment was today, not 10 days from now... Hence the 1 star review for horrible service IE not even bothering to show up... I instead Installed it myself.

This company starts off good to show off but after a while they show their true face. Management is non existent. They come in whenever they want and leave earlier than anyone else. They all have their clicks or in crowds. If your not apart of it then you might as well pack up and leave. People here show favoritism over quality. For example there is a girl there(wont name names) that got a promotion even though her quality of work was subpar. She is constantly chatting with people and never at her desk. She maybe works 10 out of the 40 hours that she is at work. They promote people they are friends woth and leave the good workers behind. That's why there is so much turn over. Pay here is a joke and benefits suck. Also 2 unpaid holidays. The rest of the time you have to work or take the chance of losing your job.

Unbelievable. I ordered a Weber Grill through Amazon that included free assembly through this company. After scrambling to make arrangements to be off of work the morning of the scheduled service time, receiving several email and text confirmations of the appointment in the days leading up to the scheduled service time, the technician was a no show. I even received a confirmation email the morning of the appointment with a picture and name of the tech. However, I received no phone call, email, text, etc explaining why he was a no show. I've tried to call the company directly and receive an automated message that all agents are busy and it will be an estimated hold time of 20 minutes plus. I'm so angry about missing work needlessly, I've not wasted my time to sit on hold to speak with someone yet. Based on the other reviews of this company, I doubt that it will do much good. I wish I had been aware of this company's poor customer service record before buying the item assembled. I should have bought one from the local Lowe's store already assembled. I have always been beyond impressed with Amazon's customer service and realize that its not their fault. However, I am letting them know of my dissatisfaction and am I somewhat surprised that they continue to associate with Assemblers, Inc. My suggestion is to stay clear of this company at all costs.

this place lies and tells you the pay is $10-16 an hour. once working for them they charge you out of pocket for a uniform fee so you can wear their ugly workshirts while you use your own personal tools.
once you get there to train you realize they are making 60% of your commission and all you make is 40%, you pay gas you pay for tools you do all of the work. the worst part is when you get your check and they were ripping you off on your paycheck and you only make $7.25 an hour. My hard work was averaging $12 an hour by commission only (everything you put together determined your pay and there is 0.00 hourly pay). my review for them is: SCAM ARTIST, BEWARE

I called Assemblers, Inc to put together a gas grill I purchased from Home Depot. They immediately charged my credit card with the assembly fee and assured me someone would call me within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. I sent 4 emails and have made numerous phone calls to Assembler's Inc and each time I was promised a phone call from a technician to assemble my grill. (UPDATE) It took over a week for someone to call me and they were finally able to make an appointment to put my gas grill together. Once they arrived, they did a FANTASTIC JOB, plus they were professional and friendly. The customer service department is awesome and Pixie Honeycutt did a great job at following up and returning phone calls while trying to contact my technician. I would suggest they create a better process for technicians scheduling and returning phone calls on the front end of this transaction.

After missing 3 scheduled appointments, I continued to try to get them over to the house to do the required assembly. They never showed up. I m surprised that Home Depot contracts with them to do the installation of a product purchased at Home Depot. The floor manager from this company, Blake, was very unriable. He even laughed to my face when I told him how time was of the essence as my property was a million dollar vacation rental and the guests were expecting a new grill. The person who answers the phone may sound professional at times but don t let that fool you. They are setting you up for failure. Amazon booked them to install a basketball goal at my house and they missed their appointment three times, promised me over and over that they would come and never did, cost me many hours on hold for their call center, and then just cancelled my (several times re-booked) appointment with no explanation. I live in El Paso Tx. My husband and I purchased a Proform 720 Eliptical from the Academy Store. Assemblers Inc. contacted us on the very same day of purchase to schedule an appointment for an Assembler Technician to come to our home. Thereafter, happy to say we met Gilbert who had come to assemble our Proform 720 Eliptical. He was so polite and very nice. He assembled our new Eliptical to a perfection. And went out of his way and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with his fantastic knowledge and precision. Fantastic Customer Service I could not have asked for anyone but Assemblers Inc to do the assembly for us.
