Considering the fact that I am looking to switch to them from Spectrum its amazing that they refuse to answer the phone and let a new customer wait on hold for 20 minutes.
If this is how they treat potential customers Id hate to see how they treat actual customers.

This is the absolute worst internet provider in the world. Don't waste your time instead utilize any other provider because you will be very disappointed with their customer service delays, missed appointments, and failure to do what should be easily done---i.e provide a service and keep their word. Avoid them at all costs.
Without a doubt the worst customer service I ve ever dealt with.
I don t think their phones are actually connected I ve spent countless hours on hold with them to never even be connected EVER it s horrifying.
Email doesn t seem to work either, the only way to reach a person is to use the online chat feature which is buggy at best. Recently - this feature doesn t work at all - which is amazing to me. This company is impossible to reach - by any means, but still able to take my money? This shouldn t be illegal.
I am so fed up with trying to reach someone for a simple issue....and apparently they overcharge people so often that their one staff I spoke to in person in their office warned me of it.
I returned my router and she said they might still charge you for it, but just call them she clearly had dealt with this before... and sure enough I was charged for it, and have now spent over a month trying to get my money back. Nightmare company - do not give them your business.
If I could give Hawaiian telcom no stars I would!!!!!I called to check on my bill, from the start of our conversation the representative (ehu) was very RUDE!!!!!!he might have thought he was talking to a young child with what and how he was speaking to me!!!!!!I got so upset I hung up on him!!!!!!
Yeah, they're kinda horrible. Their tech support said they'd call me back in 10 minutes with answers to my questions. I waited for over an hour at the office I was helping out at. Then I spent over an hour on hold trying to call them back before I quit trying. And my questions were fairly simple. Would only take a competent support person a minute or two. :(
Payment and automated call system is utterly horrible. Zero customer service and impossible to reach anyone. Internet has been okay until recently which has been slow and spotty. I ve tried to set up auto pay for the last 3 months to no avail. It s incredible, trying to pay them and they are making it nearly impossible to the point about about to cancel service. Surprised they are still in business to be honest.
Sorry HT is broken. My 50 bytes are really 19, after TV is supplied. With 19 Bytes, we get a broken system not able to stream or even move a cursor at times. Try calling HT. Its ridiculous. {Secrete Passwords. Permission to review the account? Im calling to request help! OF COURSE you can review the account! Its 6 months later nothing is better.
Nothing but trouble. Been a customer of Hawaiian Telcom in all its different incarnations since 1987. Since we switched to fiber optic telephone service in 2019, we have experienced 3 outages in 3 months to our area, and couldn't process credit card sales for 5 full days during two of the outages. Calling customer service is a minimum hold of 40-60 minutes or longer. Numerous transfers to different departments with long hold times between transfers. No notification when a service technician will come out. One representative on the phone instructed me to crawl around on the floor and unplug and re plug phone jacks in the walls for nearly an hour before I realized I was doing the service tech's job and asked for someone else to help me.
Over all, service was without problems for 2 years. Then there was an error with my billing; my service stopped working and the techs sent couldn't fix it. I kept getting bills about 3 or 4 months after reporting my service stopped... I was pretty bummed. I finally got a bill of $00.00 due. I like supporting local, but something went wrong with my internet connection (probably building wiring), so I had to switch. I see a lot of complaints here, I was one of them! But they made it right, and I really appreciate it. Aloha aloha...
I have been trying to reach out to them with no luck for over a week. Here are some of my failed attempts: - Called several times last week, waiting over an hour one time until call got disconnected. - Used their online chat and left my contact info. Haven't even received an email from them. - Went to their office in downtown. Lady kindly offered to get someone to call me before 4pm. Nada. - Called again - wait time of 15-20 minutes. I hanged after an hour (see pic).
Good luck, this company is the wild west. I don't recommend them at all.
Not only would I not recommend Hawaiian Telcom, I would advise against using them. I have never had such difficulty with any company. My father passed away and simply making a payment (one would think a company would gladly want a payment) I was not allowed to. They were not even allowed to speak with me at all about anything in regards to the account. Every other company I have had to change and put in my name etc. has been very sympathetic and understanding of the situation and done their utmost to make the process as easy as possible and ensure their service is as helpful as can be. The problem arose after automated payments were set up with Hawaiian Telcom, the monthly payment was taken from my bank account and yet my home telephone service was disabled and yet again, they could not speak to me about the account at all. My security and fire alarm system is connected with that land line, the one they took the payment for, but left disabled. Perhaps I should thank them for my not having a fire start and go undetected and no fire department dispatched since the landline was DISABLED, otherwise my home and dogs would most likely be in ashes, just like my dad (and heaven forbid my neighbors who have a newborn baby be effected in that case as well). Thank you so much Hawaiian Telcom for your OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND SUPPORT. It warms my heart to know how much you care for this island's community, its people, and YOUR customers. And charging, TAKING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT while DISABLING my landline was the cherry on top. I gave one star, for answering the phone when I called each time.
I initially left a negative review. I've updated this to four stars because Ian reached out to me and helped resolved my issue. Props to Sara for her assistance as well. The only reason it's not five stars is because of the initial hassle in the first place regarding scheduling an appointment, but I'm glad they were eventually able to accommodate me. Thank you!
Frustration x10. Time is something I value...explaining situation only to be transferred then having to explain situation put on hold then hanged up on! Ridiculous would be NO Stars! I learned about making positive transfer like 25 years ago.
I thought I'd try to do the right thing and do business with an Hawaiian company. So unreliable. Nickel and dime you. Horrible customer service. My installation was done by a contractor. Be barely knew what he was doing. 2 days this week I've had trouble. Each time they knew that they were having problems. Customers service rep tried to BS me with likely problems. Tonight, I'm down again. Customer service says they'll call back in "more than 20 minutes." They weren't kidding. it took them two hours 20 minutes. I will go back to Spectrum as soon as I can.
How is it possible a utility company that services the Hawaiian islands, has not 1 person to answer billing questions!?! No one answers the Maui # listed on our statements (EVER) & after 13 rings I went into a automated recording.
Is it even legal to charge an addt'l $5.00 if you want a human to help you with billing questions...
If there were another choice for us...Hawaii Telecom would be out of business & the CEO, who allows this inept behavior needs to be fired...or improve to acceptable customer service standards!
Just no where to talk to a human, no store locations.. When calling for service or information you have to wait almost 40 minutes. Totally unacceptable customer service if any.
September 7, 2016...Newly connected service, after 3 days no service at all. Called Hawaiian Telcom, the person on the line gave instructions on how to get it started again, without success. Finally gave us an appointment for September 20 (10 days of wait for a technician to come and see the problem)! Tell me, can anyone live without Internet or TV for 10 days nowadays? Why the long wait? UNSATISFACTORY!
I would give this company less than one star, if there was such a choice. OMG!!! My 89 year-old father, was told he would have phone service "the next evening." NOT!!! That was five days ago!! I called every day to find out the status of the order and got told "we're working on it," "there's a problem," "technician will fix it from the outside," and then, "we're sending a technician." Today, a "technician" named "James" called from the front door, and since this is a secure building, I told him I would meet him downstairs. I looked out the front door and didn't see him. I checked the parking garage door, and didn't see him. I called him, and he said he was at the front door, so I went back. He was sitting down, on a bench, behind a plant, and finally stood up when I opened the door, and called his name. SERIOUSLY? He's got long hair, a very full beard, dark glasses, and his baseball cap on backwards. I asked him for an ID, like I do with any service person coming to my Dad's residence, and he said he didn't have one. He said he might have one in his truck. So he walked around the building to his truck, where I met him. He said he didn't have one and must have left it in his personal truck. I asked him to take off his glasses so I could at least see his face. He took them off, and said he "had a problem with his eyes, that the sun bothered them." I also asked him to take off his cap. I told him he was not what I expected, to which he replied, "because I look like this?" I said yes, and he said he/they could have somebody else come out. I told him I would appreciate that, and asked if I would be contacted today, and he said, "I think so." His whole demeanor was slow, unenthusiastic, seemed almost relieved that I wanted another technician. Yikes!! SO, I came upstairs and called TelCom's customer service line: was put on hold, told that all customer service people were helping other customers; put on hold, again; told I could have someone call me after "20 minutes" so I wouldn't have to wait on hold; I chose to do that; my phone rang, I picked it up, and was told: "all customer service representatives" were busy, and they would take my call shortly; I hung up and called the same customer service number, and was told, "the call center is closed. Please call back when it is open, from 8-5, Saturdays." It is currently 1:15 pm and I've been at this for several hours. SERIOUSLY???
SO... My Dad still doesn't have the phone service he was promised five days ago, AND TelCom sent a very unprofessionally attired technician to come into my father's home, AND I have called customer service over and over to cancel our order, and still haven't gotten through.
SO--I set up phone service with Spectrum, which will cost my Dad $17.83 LESS than TelCom, and includes Wi-Fi.
Their customer support is very poor. After going through a lengthy automated system a trouble report is made, but the problem doesn't get fixed. Speaking to a real person is almost impossible, I have waited on hold for more than an hour before giving up, which seems to be the core of their strategy.
Phone service has been for almost a day, and nothing has been done. It is not a wire problem, because I have internet over the same line and that still works. Apparently, somewhere in their central office someone has screwed up the phone configuration and they are either too lazy or too inept to correct it. They have advertised their land-line phone service as being "always on". That may have been true once, but no longer.
Horrible DSL Speeds and technical support is no help. In a suburb in Kapaa, Kauai. Paying for Basic Service only getting 0.5 Mbps. Not worth the money, my phone is faster...
7 months ago I was seriously injured at 5:54am while walking out to the bus stop and in the process stepped on one if there metal plates that cover their equipment under ground, which collapsed and severely spranged my right ankle where several ligaments torn and fell on my left side and had a closed fracture. Now trying to settle my claim and all there insurance company can offer is under $10,000. This is a slap in the face. If your equipment did not malfunction then I wouldn't be in thus position. Being will take over a year for my ankle. What a joke! Did I mention that the meter cover is rusted and you can't see it in the dark. How often dies Hawaiian Tel Com inspect their equipment? Probably never. What a shame for a local company!
We came to cancel service as well as return the modem, we've been trying to cancel service for a while and due to my mother losing her account password/security question & answers we were not able to get it done over the phone. We've requested a temporary pass code to be mailed to us and was told we should get it in about a week. 1 week later, pass code still not received, so we decided to just go in person. Office is located in the downtown area, our only parking options are street meter or parking lot that charges an arm and a leg per 30 minutes. There is no parking validation, and finding street parking in downtown is like trying to win the lottery, so no choice but to pay the parking lot the ridiculous amount they charge for the time we were there.
Reasons she wanted to cancel service: 1) When the WiFi does work it's sometimes slow as hell (max speed I've seen was about 30mbps, when I called about that the agent said "can deliver up to 50mbps, does not guarantee the speed will always be at 50mbps, sometimes may drop below half speed during network congestion" all I got to say about that is "no way in hell we experience network congestion 24/7") 2) Some days, even though the WiFi was connected, I wasn't able to access the Internet (YouTube, Web pages, images, FB, etc. Tried everything and nothing loaded) I've tried to help my mother figure out what was not working, I've reset the modem, unplugged all the wires, disconnected everything, but nothing worked. Even when I called about the problem and have the agents reset the modem/network on their side it didn't do anything to fix the problem, the agent told me that they don't see any issues on their side. Um... What the hell? If there's no issue, why isn't it working on any of the devices I've tried to test the connection with? 3) The price for service keeps going up. My mother used the same service for the last 3 years, haven't added anything to it, but the prices just keep going higher, went from $30/month (Internet 50 maps + modem rental) to $42/month, then $54/month and last bill I saw when my mother said she wants to cancel service it stated $117/month. At first I thought "that can't be right, it clearly doubled the last bill, maybe she forgot to pay last month and was charged 2 months of service + late fee?" So I took the bill and throughly read the entire thing (fine print included) and found out that my mother did NOT forget to pay the previous month, the price went up so high because her "promotional discount rate" had expired so she was charged the regular rate. I had to do a double take because I couldn't believe my eyes, $100+/month for slow WiFi that rarely works right, and it's not even one of those "Fiber" high speed Internet that promises to deliver speeds up to 100-300mbps. Ridiculous. Clearly trying to rip us off, because even Spectrum don't charge that much for internet service.
So we decided to just upgrad our phone plans to unlimited data with hotspot, and cancel this B.S.
I have waited 3 weeks for someone to come and repair my internet. I have contacted them 3 times and the wait time has been over 2 hours along. One time after waiting 2 hours i was disconnected.
I had an appointment today between 11am -2pm for a tech to come out and it is currently 5 minutes to 2pm. No show, no call. I am currently waiting on the phone for a rep and have been waiting about 40 minutes already.
Customer service is really bad....... i am looking into internet with another provider now.
Signed up for the 1 gig plan. Not able to get even the 80% min that is required even after technician help. Getting 700 max. Called customer service and they won't let me downgrade to 500mbps without paying $120 cancellation fee even though I had the service for only 2 weeks so far. Terrible customer service who doesn't put the customer first and makes up stupid 'rules' and 'policies' that don't make sense.
This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Firstly, they only offer an 8hr window for you to get your service set up, Monday through Friday. That doesn't work for people who work and cant afford to miss.
The technician estimated that it would take 4 hours for him to install internet at my location, in Aiea. When Spectrum set up their internet, it took 25 minutes. He was clearly lying.
The customer service was atrocious, dont expect them to be helpful at all.
Stay away, worst service and support possible. Not worth saving a few bucks over Oceanic/Spectrum. Hawaiian tel does not care about you or the horrible service they provide.
Don't listen to the mainstream reviews. Its a good and well done company. They just need more people for calls. Its the only company i know that gives out 300 mbps with a good price 55$ monthly and showing as the front page on their site. Unlike the other companies which only boast about their company on their front page site and give about 100 mbps of speed for internet speed for 30$ monthly. It's the only good fast internet provider on the island.
JUST got service put in this afternoon. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet, I'm having technical difficulties with the service!!! NO television, NO internet connection!!! Hawaiian Telcom rep say a there seems to be a problem (duhh) with my box or wiring, the closest available appointment they have for me is next week Thursday (6 days from now)!!! Wait it gets better, the rep says that I 'sound a little frustrated.' Umm do you think should I be happy and throwing a party for UNSATISFACTORY service and equipment less than 24 hours after installation and no sooner appointment other than 6 days from now?!!
I've called on 3 different occassions and was on hold for over 2 1/2 hours with no answer. I dont even get all the data i pay for. Very disappointed. I will be cancelling service with them.
the worst internet provider ever. would put -5 stars if I could. never has delivered the speed we are paying for. customer service non responsive. avoid if all possible. we only one choice at the time. as soon as contract is up will change as there are all kinds of choices now. lesson learned. not surprising they almost went bankrupt.
I have their TV/Internet service and love the speeds, HD TV programming and picture not to mention the Price can't be beat. They always have promotions running and with no contract it is easy to switch once a current promotion runs out. Customer service has been excellent when- ever I call to make changes to my service or the one time I had a connection problem. They came out within a day and changed the equipment which may have been the problem without any fuss. Phone- customer service is always friendly and informative they even suggest better packages based on what I use most. They really do their best to deliver exceptional service.
We wanted to cancel our land line a week ago. I was on hold for 30 minutes and decided to try to cancel on line. I filled out the request form with our cell numbers, no one called either of us. Today I called again, was on hold for almost an hour when a man finally answered the phone. He took down all of my information and then told me he had to transfer me to sales. I was on hold for 25 minutes and they hung up on me. My husband called them and they called him back and then put him on hold for 30 minutes. He hung up and went to the on line chat and told them he was trying to cancel the phone. They said someone would call him back within two days. You have to be kidding! We are going to cancel all of our accounts with Hawaiian Telcom and go back to Spectrum. You people need to get get your act together or you will lose a lot more customers!
When I started my own business I needed internet in order to process credit cards and help customers. I called Oceanic Time Warner business and they would not have anything to do with me because I was a "new business."
I then called HawaiianTelcom and within minutes had an appointment scheduled to install my internet for almost half the price I was quoted by Road Runner. When I then had a question about my bill they explained without being condescending or sarcastic. I know there is good and bad with every company, but I am just really glad I went with this one for my business.
I'm having so much problems with spectrum and their junk equipment that I thought about looking into Hawaiian Tel but after looking at the reviews that 1 star line us awfully full. Think I'm going to stay with spectrum
Piss poor company. Hawaiian telcom owe me money because I had repay for the box that I already had in my house. They had mess up on my bill. Now there are telling me that they will send me a check to reimburse me. That had been months ago. I had to call them back and they had told me that the claim never went in. It is now been a month and I still not heard from them. Please people do not waste your time and money with this company go to Oceanic Cable. Now that is a 5 star company.
When I called, the automated voice said all lines were busy, but it offered to have a rep call me back if I pressed "1," or "3" if I wanted to stay on the line. I pressed "1." No response. I tried "1" again. No response. The voice repeats the two options, and I press "1" again. No response. If H.Tel. really would return our calls, we'd be a lot happier. But their elaborate pretense is particularly irksome.
Called customer service. Automated system said 12 minutes wait. It has been 50 minutes. Do I wait longer? Will someone answer within an hour? Or will it be 2 hours as some people reported. Really? Do I have 2 hours to sit here waiting for a customer rep to answer? By then it is the end of the business day. Do I wait 2 hours for nothing because they close?? I can't believe that ANY company has th is poor of customer service. This is the worse I have experienced.
edit - it has been an hour and 10 minutes, I am not waiting anymore because I will likely be on until they close in 40 minutes and get hung up on. If you read all these reviews, they only respond to 5 star reviews. How about responding to the negative reviews (which is 90% of them)? They won't because they don't care.
Terrible internet speed, keeps disconnecting for no reason, I can't even finish a normal online game with friends without disconnecting once. It occurs very often. I never hate a company so much in my life.
worst customer service I ever experienced. spoke to a girl named melanie, she should be fired immediately. she made me feel like she was doing me a favor the entire time
Terrible connection and download speeds, service cuts out frequently. Paid for 300 Mbps download, tested it and I'm only getting 1-4 Mbps. I am definitely switching. If I could rate less than 1 star I would rate -10. Terrible company.
Terrible service. Had an appointment set up for new installation. I called a few days before to confirm the time and was told all was well. Four hours after they were supposed to show up I called wondering where they were. It turns out that they had canceled our appointment without notifying us in anyway at all. It turned out that one of their employees didn't finish setting up our paperwork so they had to cancel. I don't see why they couldn't have told us that when I called a few days previous.
But accidents happen so we set up the paperwork again and reschedule with the manager named Carrie who assured us that she would take care of it and make sure that everything worked the next time. We rescheduled for two weeks later. Two weeks later I called a few days before the appointment to make sure again. They never set up our appointment! Carrie, who said she would take care of it personally didn't even finish setting the appointment.
So the phone operator I was talking to said that she would pass on the information and have Carrie call me "in a few minutes". She didn't call for six hours. I was done at this point, I was trying to find a better internet service with better customer service. Instead I found a company with even worse service.
So I'm no longer going with them. If they can't even muster up enough service to schedule an appointment twice in a row then how could I ever trust them if something actually broke. When I expressed my frustration I could tell from their reactions that they had heard it all before many times. None of them reacted in anyway that I could call sorrowful, they just don't care. Also, be sure to watch their contracts. Their special deals only last for so long before the price sky rockets astronomically.
If you need a reliable business phone and internet, DO NOT go with Hawaiian Telcom. My business phone has been down for 10 days and still no fix. The internet has been off and on that entire time as well. I'm losing money every day I don't have a working phone and Hawaiian Telcom could care less. I've called them a dozen times so far. BEWARE
My DSL connection is only 7/1 becuase Hawaiiantel doens't offer anything faster for my area, i was forced to get a second line. I wish oceanic would service this location.
We have TV + Internet. TV is mostly pixels and blackouts even when we have paid for a movie. Always rebooting. We have no fiber optics in our neighborhood for the last 20 years. Internet slow and below 20 Mbps. I was told if I separate and drop the TV, we can get 50 Mbps of internet. After reading Steve Maratta's comments, I see this is only More hot smoke. I don't need Colon Cancer this week!
just trying to shop around, I left hawaiian telcom about 15 years ago because of poor customer service and trouble with landline, sharing with other people, I could hear neighbors on the phone while talking to a friend. I wanted to shop around, after reading the reviews thinking it has improved tremendously, I guess I better stick with spectrum even thought the rate is going up and up. I am surprised to see that you have not improved, I did not have a choice about not posting a star, but it won't let me post a comment without it. HT pls improve so you can compete with Spectrum who has excellent customer service but expensive.
All I needed to do was edit my current credit card info...easy, right? WRONG!!! Couldn't get online to do it (wouldn't recognize my username name or password). Rep sent me a password "recovery code" ...didn't work. He said he would reset it and call me back in two days since it takes that long for the system to acknowledge new code. No call back. Every department I called today including technical support AND the main office on Bethel St. said, "No one is available to assist you" AND there would be at least a 20 min. wait ...REALLY? I had already waited 28 mins. on hold waiting for someone to respond.
The inaccessibility to get a customer service rep to assist customer's STINKS!!! The ability to update credit card info STINKS!!! After all, when I needed to update Time Warner, it took all of 2 mins. A rep answered right away, took the new exp.date and 3 digit code over the phone...done!!!
Hawaiian Tel and in particular Scott Barber, Pres. & CEO ... shame on you for such LOUSY customer service!!!
Terrible. Absolutely horrible company. The worst. Go with Spectrum. They never have customer service representatives to help when you need it, when you want to cancel they hold you hostage and say they won't cancel until you return the equipment that they placed in your home. they won't even come and unscrew the equipment that they placed in your walls. they charge $55 for that. they put in it my walls! and they're going to charge to come remove it? or they won't charge if i just leave these two massive boxes in my living room wall. terrible company!!!!!
Had no internet cable or phone service since 730am I called Hawaiian Telcom and not one person did anything to help me. There was a fire on a pole 2 house away from me. Hawaiian Telcom was notified no one came to look but wow spectrum came right out to fix neighbors problem had 8 trucks on my street and no one from Hawaiian Telcom. Very upset bad customer service guess I will be switching to spectrum. Hawaiian Telcom said I have to wait till Wednesday for someone to come out
Customer service....... WHAT customer service all you get is talking to a machine nobody I tell their line then getting transferred and transferred and transferred only to find out each person that you get transferred to cant help you
I just recently subscribed to the Hawaiian Telecom internet. I subscribed to the low one for 15 MBPS but when i check my speed it shows up around 1.5 or 2 MBPS !!!
I switched to HiTel from spectrum/time warner after being a TW customer for over 15 years. I was sick of spectrum's "boil the frog" gradual price increase tactics; every bill went up just a bit with them and never back down. I have been with HiTel now for 6 months. My throughput is plenty, constant, and I pay exactly what they quoted me every month. I've saved about $350 so far. If this keeps up I'll never go back .
garbage of a company. to pay online , they charge you $1.95. To pay at the First Hawaiin Bank $1. They got my zip code wrong and only realized it now when i had to make a payment online and kept getting error about my account zip code was invalid. Where are their stores located besides the Bishop street office? I can't even find a closet store to pay in person. Avoid this company if you can.
Horrible~call a 643-6111 0r 643-6000 get a useless robot that does useless things ~ my landline has been out 3 days.Time to switch to (ugh) a cell phone.
Trash company hire trash drivers parking illegally using cones to try to minimize their crime or illegal parking for the matter. Cant stand companies that hire drivers whobare either lazy or not smart enough to find a parking spot that wont make their company look like complete jerks.
the worst service ever.. no contacts for maui operations to get updated information on status on line connection going on 4 days.. i call to check and their customer service people keep saying the same thing.. when ask for a manager none available to get a accurate updated information .. the worst public utility ever.. this should be a no star.. to post.. bad service
how is this and spectrum the only internet providers?? they just lie and lie and lie to us.
my internet speeds plummeted after about two months... when I called and asked why... they said they no longer offered that speed in my area?? what? why? and your still charging me for that speed? they didnt have an answer. I canceled immediately... a bill came in shortly after for the same amount for the speeds I signed up for. these companies are criminal.
Trying to get someone to answer the phone call is downright ridiculous! I have spent 7 weeks trying to disconnect my father's phone service. He passed away April 1st, and he had automatic payment through his checking account. Just got a call from the bank, they are trying to get another payment! Auwe to the feminine guy that told me "if you would stop talking, be quiet and listen to me" I had to remind him that we were the customer. If I could, I wouldn't even give them 1 star
Im actually really happy with Hawaiian Telcom, i came from oceanic which was so bad they had to re brand.. Service is great prices have been great and i haven't had any issues since i signed up. I always recommend Hawaiian Tel.
Hawaiian Telcom doesn't even deserve a 1. Scheduled an install 11 days ago for today. Waited here all day for the installer. Called in twice to verify an installer was coming. Called at 4:45 p..m. to confirm no one was coming. No reason given why they were a no show. Now told I cannot get an appointment until November 20. Ridiculous!!
Went to the Bishop St location (TV depot) around 9:30 am and there was no one in line. I exchanged my worn out remote for a new one, free of charge, and it only took 30 seconds. Very quick and hassle free service! The parking situation at this location is not ideal, but I was able to find street metered parking just 1 block away, so it wasn't a big deal.
Trying to get help and assistance with your services always takes hours or even days. I ve been trying to get a hold of a representative for 3 days now. Each time I call the answering machine is always saying all their representatives are tied up and the wait time is 20-30 minutes. This isn t the first time that I ve been trying to get a hold of them.
