I have had Internet and phone service with HT for the past 7 yrs. The service is very reliable. I can only recall one time during the seven yrs that my service was interrupted. I think that deserve 5 stars.

Asked a lot of what seemed like shady questions over the phone so i refused to get the service. They wanted my full social, if i had any locked gates, alarms, and dogs. The full social over the phone is what really set off the red flags. If that is how little security they have over personal info I don't want to be a part of it. The customer service rep also got offended and really rude when I told him I wouldn't give my full social over the phone.

I hate there customer service. Very rude. I waited over 1hr and still didnt get through. Yet they are fast to shut my service off. All i was trying to do is call to make a payment. They make like they are getting calls about good service i can garentee people are yelling at them because service sucks and the workers do too.

I called in a service issue.... lady was nice and ...

I called in a service issue.... lady was nice and took down my number... said the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour... we'll call back. I got the emailed version of my trouble ticket and they put the wrong contact number down... so I called back... I used the email system they provide and it kept placing my in a loop. I then called the customer service... the robot said 30 minutes but I could stay on the line. SO I stayed on the line. I have now been waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes... nothing... and they have the wrong number to call me back to boot. Still no service... and I cannot get anyone to help me to correct that wrong number...

Terrible service, entirely unaccountable and dismi...

Terrible service, entirely unaccountable and dismissive of customer concerns. After reporting an issue in March and April, I was still waiting on hold and sending emails without receiving response in June. They provided terrible support and service during pandemic times and were egregiously incompetent and indolent with their management of my issue. I wish I could say that they were worth supporting, as maybe they seem a 'local' alternative to Spectrum, but it's not worth the 12$/month you save by signing up with them over Spectrum. Heaven forbid you run into an issue with your internet and they lock you into the byzantine purgatory that is their customer service team. They have no accountability nor reactivity towards the issues and downstream complications caused by their faulty service and technician knowledge/attentiveness is additionally subpar. Overall, I have spent a full 40hr workweek waiting on hold with these pitiful pansies, and I would not wish the experience upon anybody except maybe the service representative who repeatedly marked my service request as resolved despite my fervent insistence that the issue was, in fact, not resolved.

Overall a shoddy company with disenfranchised employees and a general air of despondency, spend your 12$ on spectrum and at least get a responsive call center staff, slightly more reliable connectivity too.

I'm writing this review because this now has happened to me three times. I called because I have a new address.There is an option for a return call because generally it takes 30-45 minutes for someone to answer the phone to assist. Well when I get the phone call back I got hung up on. They pick up the phone and just breathe and wait for you to say something and hang up on you. If I had nothing else better to do then sit here and wait for you guys to call me back it wouldn't be a problem.
This is by far the worst customer service ever. If I could give negative stars I would.
