Horrible and useless customer service, it's been 3 weeks to schedule an appointment to fix a washing machine and it's finger pointing all over from call center to technician to spare sparts for over a week and still not fixed. This brand will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

It was difficult to book an appointment for washer repair. I have to beg the call centre agent over the phone before I was given a date within the same week.
The service engineer was slightly late but called to apologize and told me he will reached within half hour which he did. He took 15min to repair my washer. Now my washer is up and working again!

If you are thinking of buying an Electrolux washer...

If you are thinking of buying an Electrolux washer and dryer, please allow me to share my experience with you. The machines are in general ok. But about a year after using the dryer, there seems to be a water gathering issue and water will not go out. So we got them to come and take a look at the dryer. A technician was sent and he told us there is nothing he can do and said it has to be sent back. Another date was arranged for the dryer to be collected and brought back to Electrolux for fixing. It was returned to us in working condition. Half a year later, the same problem came back again. This time round, we told them to simply send someone down to collect the dryer and bring it back for repair. They refused. They said the standard thing to do is to send a technician down to take a look at it first with a service fee of $95. We told them its exactly the same problem so we just need it to be collected. They said "No, we need to send the technician." We said, we can pay the service fee but just collect the dryer at the same time as its not often we have people at home. Both my husband and I working. They refused. In order to get the dryer fixed, I had no choice but to get the technician down. As expected, the technician called me while I was in a meeting (after being in my apartment for less than 5 min) to tell me he can't do anything and it needs to be brought back for fixing. I told him I already told Electrolux that when I called. His reply was, sorry, I am just a technician, please pay me $95. Another appointment needs to be made then to bring the dryer back, which cost $55. In total it was $150 and that is just to bring the dryer back to Electrolux. But that is not even my main complain, my main complain is, I told Electrolux that it is a big hassle for me to have people at home just for the technician to come down for 5 min to tell me something I already know then to have someone at home for the pick up. I have already said, if you spare me the trouble of waiting at home TWICE and allow me to pay the total of $150 just to get the dryer back to Electrolux as I have suggested during my first call to you, I would not have been so upset. So if you are thinking of buying an Electrolux washer or dryer, please be prepared to have time and money for constant repair.

The appointment time that was made for the technician to come was 1400 to 1800. Right now, it is 1815 and no reason was given to us why the technicians have not arrived yet. The only way we are able to contact them is through email, however, they are taking very long. Extremely disappointed.

AVOID buying Electrolux products, slight discount will not compensate for TROUBLE down the road. My refrigerator leaks before warranty period. Nobody follow-up for remedy actions after Service Technician, Mr Tan, deems that fault beyond his scope of work. Wrote in to Customer Service, reply from Syamir requesting for more info to proceed. Provided necessary details to them same day, and no subsequent reply from Customer Service again. Called Customer Service hotline a week later, I waited 1hour before anyone picked up the call. Spoke to Belle, provided all necessary detail (including the email reference). Citied to get back to me by end of the day as the Engineering Team is in a meeting. Till date, no action from them.

Made a service appointment with Electrolux. Was told that appointment confirmed for technician to come to my place on 26 March at 2 to 6pm. Called Electrolux at 5pm to check if technician is on the way: informed that technician did not get notified of the appointment. Terrible - Electrolux, people have to take leave to be at home waiting for your non-existent appointment. AVOID their products - after sales service is clearly not a priority.

They have one of the worst customer service.
Even if u purchase one of their expensive model... the warranty coverage is very lousy.

Changed a battery 4 months and it was not working came back and was told to purchase a new one.. the battery cost $135 it's half the price of the vacume

Have been trying to call their customer service hot line for the past few days, the talking machine kept asking you to hold on yet after 20 mins still no body bother to answer the call. After few attempts and waiting on hold, I have no more patience so sent them an email on 14 July till to date , no reply. What kind of after care service is this? Wake up Electrolux, time to improve on your after care services if you want to sell your products in SG.

Ordered a dryer that comes with stacking kit. Upon delivery of the dryer worker said stacking kit and dryer doesn't match. Poor courts pple need to bring dryer back and we need to wait for electrolux pple to send stacking kit over which we weren't even told when. Then need to arrange another day to wait for dryer to be delivered. It's a waste of time. I will not order another electrolux item.

I bought an Electrolux oven which started to have issues on its door after only using it a few times.
I have not been able to get a repair done, it has been 6 months since and the customer support keeps telling me the part is not in stock . 6 MONTHS and I keep being dodged every time I call or send an email.

This is not acceptable from a brand that is supposed to be reputable. I can see among the many reviews that I am not the only one and therefore I strongly advise people against buying any Electrolux products.

This is so far the worst customer service I have encountered.

As I was unable to get the vacuum bag filter ES51, I wrote the Customer Service. They advised me to buy from the Service Centre at Galaxis. I went there, and asked for a box of ES51 filter. The counter staff gave me a box of S.Bag filter instead and assured me that S.Bag is correct. I brought home but found out it doesn't fit. I called and wrote to the Customer Service again. They replied that "our stocks are non-exchange/refundable", even though I highlighted the issuance of wrong product by Electrolux Service Centre staff. Is this reasonable?

Service man showed up.

Booked for a servicing. Inquired how can I pay prior due to being at work, and not wanting to leave a huge sum of cash with helper? Call person said paynow, or paylah. I'm like great!

Service man comes. Fixes fridge. I confirm the cost, and tell him that my wife will use pay now when she's done her client meeting.

Get a message from service guy: "no payment yet sir, I'm still waiting."

I reply: I think she's still in a meeting. You'll get it before the end of the day.

Next thing you know the service guy takes apart the fridge again and leaves!!!!!

We call Electrolux and they say we can pay later. But the fridge was intentionally taken apart.

I'm currently waiting for the same service guy to come back and put my fridge back together again!!

Call and request for spare parts. They say will take 6 weeks delivery. Wait for 3 months and still no response.

Spare parts came. But some of the spare part that came were wrong. Customer service had no clue about their own spare part. Now not only I paid for useless spare part, I probably have to wait again for their spare part. Seriously regret buying this brand.

Bought an Electrolux vacuum cleaner for $169. After 3 months of spordiac use it stopped working. Brought it back to the service centre and was told the motor was spoilt. I was told it would cost another $150 to repair it. Really a lousy brand. Better to get a Japanese vacuum cleaner.

We asked for the electrolux oven in our unit to be repaired with a 95 SGD service fee imposed by Electrolux.

The technician came late and told us to replace the top heating element unit of the oven as it is faulty to address the oven tripping the main circuit breaker.

However, even after the replacement, the technician still did not fix the oven tripping issue when the oven is being turned on. The technician suggested that we leave the oven to run for 1 hour to draw out any excess moisture as he has other appointments to go to. We reluctantly agreed and allowed him to leave and let the oven run for another 1 hour.

Now, the oven is still tripping the circuit breaker when being turned on and when we asked Electrolux to call in back the technician to fix the issue, they arei charging us 95 SGD service fee AGAIN in order to fix what the technician did not fix at all.

How can you charge customers for another service fee when in the first place the issue was not fixed. This is definitely a scam.

To any customer planning on calling Electrolux service, please look at other services as their technicians are clearly inept and incapable of fixing issues of their own product.

Also, when planning to buy an appliance look at other more reliable brands with a better after sale customer service!

Never buy Electrolux products! Bought a vacuum cleaner 6 months ago and head is jammed. Have to buy a new head coz they will have to break the current one to remove it. Have to come back again to collect the new one assuming I can even use the current one for the next 2 weeks after it's broken. There is very little customer experience taken into consideration. There's a reason why you pay more for Dyson. Vacuum cleaner worked for 8 years before it gave way and the Customer Service was always good!

My Electrolux oven works ok till one day I received a call from Electrolux service center telling that if my power supply wire was not connected properly, it may cause unexpected incident. Concerned, I gladly agreed their offer of sending a technician down to check. After their technician came down one day while my helper was at home alone, he opened the power socket, did something then signed a form telling everything is ok.

My nightmare then started: a few days ago when we prepared whole tray of doughs for bread making. We realized the oven was not even switched on. After I switch on the power from the power socket, it tripped my entire house power supply. I threw away the entire tray doughs since it can't stay the whole night without going bad. The second day I started to call the only contact number I found from entire site of Electrolux Singapore. It is appalling to realize that the call never got attended after many attempt. I was just left listening to music mixed with " please hold" prompt. The longest hold I had was about an hour, the shortest being 15 mins. There is no option to leave a message, no email address from their entire web site. This repeated for a few days till now, I wrote an email to their corporate media contact few days ago and still no reply.

I just bought the oven for a few months. It was working OK and Electrolux sent someone down to screw it up. Then I cannot get into contact with them.

For sure this will be the last thing I buy from Electrolux.

Very disappointed with their after-sales service. ...

Very disappointed with their after-sales service. They charged $95 just to check if your oven is repairable. We were told one of the heating elements maybe damaged but all three elements need to be changed otherwise the heating may not be even, and this will cost about $600! Of course we decided not to repair and buy a new one from Electrolux directly so that we can offset the $95. We called their product hotline to place order but were told they only deliver the oven and don't do installation. They expect you to install it yourself or get a contractor to do it! Further the person on the line is unhelpful and not knowledgeable with their own products, and even asked us to buy from other shops. We eventually got one from Mega at a cheaper price with one-stop service. We were contemplating not use Electrolux oven again after such a bad after-sales experience if it was not due to the limitation of our cabinet measurement. The new oven manual timer is now giving problem, sometimes it doesn't ring especially when it is set to only 5-10 mins.

Absolutely awful customer service. AVOID this brand in Singapore at all costs. Washing machine broke, they said they would pick it up later in the week. The following week on Wednesday they turned up. It is now a week later and they have not done a thing. Standard reply on calling, "XXX" is on another phone call right now, they will call back later (they never do) or 'there is nothing showing on the system'. Even the manager Wei Lun does not bother calling. What I got out of them today is that 'about another week', it takes that long to fix a standard part and test it by the way, obviously. They no longer answer my mobile so I have to call using other lines!!

bought an upright vacuum cleaner 6 months ago. Looking for replacement charger. Not exactly an unusual part. Called service centre and told: we dont keep stock can get you one in 3 to 4 months, this is due to overseas shipping and we cannot give you an address to ship yourself. Read on the website "At Electrolux, we are always here to help you" except when it comes to parts it seems. Sorry but I shall not be purchasing Electrolux products with this kind of after sales service, very poor and disappointing, will have to purchase new vacuum cleaner but it will not be electrolux.

Guys just remember there is no such thing as service hotline, repair or customer service for this brand. Buy at your own risk, once spoilt please throw it away don't bother calling service hotline as no one is going to pick it up.

Got my repaired cordless vacuum back, family members discover it was a much older/used as compared to mine (used only for less than 5 months) .... The filter, the suction and etc were all super dirty and with crack on the suction. I can confirm they switch mine which was much newer!!!

Just bought the washing machine on Sunday and the delivery guy came today. After the delivery guy came and removed my old washing machine. The water started flowing. The delivery guy didn't not do anything and told us they will only fix the washing machince tomorrow and told us to clear the floded house by ourself. Left my mom at inside the flood with the old washing machine infront of her. Then insist us to close the water pipe ourself which they failed to switch off. It flooded to the living room. When to courts for asisstance and it took me more than 2 hours for the company to get the people to fix the washing machine by today. Went home, got our own plumber to fix before 3pm. Called the customer service operator, they hang up 2 times before picking up the third time. The company even faulted us and claiming that our water pipe is already spoiled before they even fix it. Ask for compensation, the manager called back and still faulted us and after telling the story, he will get back to us. Worst service ever

Terrible after sales service for washing machine. I would have put zero stars if this was an option. The Electrolux washer was bought in in 2020 and after about 6 months of use, the circuit board was apparently damaged and thus the washer cannot be started! Calling the customer service rendered no assistance at all, only to tell us to wait for the spare parts with no ETA in sight! The least they could do is to provide a temporary washer or replace it with another set until the current one can be fixed and returned! It's been almost a month and not only are they not giving us any temporary solution, the customer service refused to connect us to the manager for escalation, giving some silly excuse that the call cannot be connected. Customer service at its WORST!

Bad service, bad product. Sent in my robot vacuum clean as still getting E21 error. Told the customer service officer that i clean the contacts regularly and still getting the same error. Collected back the vacuum as Electrolux said they have fixed it. I saw the description on the service note and it said that they just cleaned the contact. Unable to do further testing, I went back with a leap of faith that it has been resolved. Furthermore, i am not allowed to keep a copy of the service note. I just got the E21 error again repeatedly. Wasted my time and money going down and get nothing resolved.

Disappointing experience. I called to repair my wine fridge as there was condensation between the glass. The only way to repair is to replace the glass door. As the charge for the technician is 150$ I wanted to know how much the new door would cost and see if it was worth to repair or buy a new one. The customer service promised me to call me back ASAP as I had an appointment with the repair center scheduled. However even after calling back 2 times to remind them I am still waiting for a response... overpromise and underdeliver.

Extremely bad service, my most unpleasant experience with a renowned international home appliance brand. Repaired & replaced different parts of my heat pump dryer within 5 mths and now needs repair again. This time I emailed their office to complaint, asking for a call back to follow up. 2 weeks already & still no one bothered to call me. Quality of product is bad. After-sales service is worst. I will give them a 0 star for this review if I can select. I will definitely NOT recommend Electrolux to all my friends and family.

Terrible products - I moved into my new apt with all Electrolux products installed by the developer . My oven kept tripping every time I tried to use it . The refrigerator leaked and now on the Chinese New Year weekend the refrigerator goes out .... completely stopped working ! The Electrolux office And Hotline is closed for 4 days so I have to wait till Tuesday meanwhile all the stuff in my fridge needs to be thrown away ! Thank you Electrolux.. Great Customer Service . The last time I tried to call in , it took 2 days before I managed to actually talk to someone ; the hotline is impossible to get thru !!

If there is minus rating, I would have placed it. Customer beware! If your Electrolux appliance breaks down and they do, you might as well throw it away even if it is relatively new.I have never experienced such 'non-existence' customer service in Singapore. Customer Care? Really? I called "Customer Care" number four times this week, each time waiting between 30 minutes to 70 minutes but no one ever picks up the calls. I tried sending an email too, no one ever reply. I even appeal to their CEO via email, no reply too.

My electric induction induction stove came within with my condo at Parc rosewood, within 3 years, it began to fail with E9 indicator. On average we cook 4 times a week, just for lunch. It cost around $95 just for the technician to come down to inspect and another $500 to change the components. The technician told us it is possible water seepage. We had it repaired and now, 2 years later, it broke down again, not sure what is the issue this time but certainly not due to water seepage. The technician and customer service are generally ok and helpful, but I certainly don not have much faith in the product. I am getting the technician to come again, not sure how much it will cost again, just the house call will cost $95, if it is going to cost another $500, I strongly discourage people from supporting this brand. I will continue with this review pending on the results of the investigation tomorrow. It almost felt like there is a time bomb tied to the warranty period.

Technician came in, visiting and inspection cost is 95, and replaced interface at 75. Worked well for a few hours by day 2 the hob shows E9 error code again. Rather disappointing

Day 3 technician came and save the day. He cleaned the glass panel and did not charge this time. Warranty a bit short, just 3 months. Good service!

I have bought a front load washer ewf12933 during the expo roadshow last week at a good price.
The sales staff recommended to me as this is 1 of their latest model which have the ultramix features that attracted me.
I am happy with the washing result and the detergent are able to fully dissolves without any residue.

Purchase 8kg washer last year and love the vapour feature, especially when I wash my baby clothes and it comes out soft and fluffy.

Got once experienced unable to open the door after washing, called the customer service and they guided me with some simple troubleshooting. Ended up I am able to get the door opened! At least it saved my time, if not I have to take a day off to wait for technician to come and fix it.

The customer service person is patient in guiding me through. I'm really thankful.

Eight attempts through email and phone to reach Customer Service. Have even tried their CEO. Worse than the last time I needed another of their "Just out of warranty" products break down. I expect white goods to last longer than two years. Buy any other brand, it can't be worse stress or value for money. To continue the saga. It took 15 e-mails, excluding 4 unanswered Service centre phone calls, to get a response. The dishwasher has just broken down again. Third time with same fault, once with another. It has worked a total of 12 days in three months between repairs. The Electrolux tumble drier, just out of warranty, has also broken down and was fixed alongside the dishwasher on it's second repair. I have asked for the CEO, Mr Kenneth Ng to contact me, both by email and by phone when I spoke to Ms Angeline Wang, Head of Domestic service department. He appears unwilling to account for the poor customer service and reliability of their products. Please be aware Electrolux also make Zanussi, AEG, Kelvinator and others brands. Check carefully who is the parent company before buying, unless you enjoy sub-standard quality and after sales service.

I have an unused oven that is new since September ...

I have an unused oven that is new since September 2016, it came built-in with the condo. I heard from neighbours that it is a persistent and known issue that the moisture from our climate will cause the oven to power trip especially from a period of time of no usage, e.g. long holidays. This oven has never been used so I consider this new. So it puzzles me why it would just have moisture and trip. I have had ovens in 14 of my previous houses and none had issues like this! Servicing just for the guy to determine the problem is $95, come on, all my neighbours have already diagnosed the problem. For our model, there is an upper and lower heating element that would costs additionally close to $300. And that problem would probably still resurface if you go on long holiday? Which means just buy a new oven! That said, their business model is great. Build something cheap that would not last, and charge ridiculous for servicing and parts, so their cash flow keeps coming in. I suggest for your sanity and your money, please boycott Electrolux ovens!

I bought my 10 kg washer/dryer on 18th Feb 2020. It has been an unhappy experience for me since. Its was lousy product, making alot of banging noises during its spinning cycles and accompanied with severe vibrations as well. I have complained. Electrolux have sent their technicians to attend to it several times but unable to fix this problem. I have used Samsung, LG and National washing machine, this is my worst experience with a brand new machine. My adivce. Don't touch them if you can.
