Lousy product broke just after warranty (mine was a top-of-the-line microwave oven) which was met with non-existent customer service! Electrolux has just lost another customer.

REVIEW UPDATE: 10 minutes ago i received a call from Electrolux (they must have found their phone again) saying that my microwave oven has been repaired and that I can go pick it up.
5 minutes after that, i received another call saying that i have to pay an additional 25 dollars for a broken part as the repair charge (95 dollars) only covers labour - which was never mentioned to me.
After reluctantly agreeing to the additional charge, i asked if the microwave had actually been repaired. Turns out, it had not and will only be ready on Friday afternoon (2 days from now).
Electrolux staff have no clue what they are doing or saying and be warned that repair (service) fees paid upfront do not include replacement parts costs.
My advice: Swallow the loss, save yourself the hassle and go out and buy a new replacement product from a different brand!

Tried calling their CS Hotline. Never once did they answer the call. Had a issue with my washing machine EWF10843. DOOR could not open. My laundry are still in the machine since yesterday 08/08/18. Can someone pls kindly contact me? Products are OK but service recovery is really lousy. For customers thinking of buying their products, pls think twice unless u are a handyman.

Worst brand and customer service ever! Not only did the electrolux dryer spoil easily, the servicing team diagnosed the wrong problem and overcharged for the wrong diagnosis. The dryer stopped working 2 days after the repair which costs Sgd200. A subsequent servicing visit was arranged and a further cost of sgd300 was quoted for the repair. Why would anyone want to pay sgd500 for a dryer which costs less than sgd500? Obviously the first diagnosis was wrong and the refund should be made, less the travel cost of the service man. However , more than 2 weeks later, there is no reply from the Electrolux customer service team despite many chasers. This will be the last time that I have buy an Electrolux product, bad quality product with bad after care customer service. It just can t get any worse !

I have a front load washer-dryer combo and the drying function was faulty after 5 years. Called for servicing and the guy came down, replaced a part and it was all good again in 10 min! Great service!

Been waiting since earlier today for the technician to fix the washing machine and the technician only just calls my husband to inform him that "his car has broken down" and he can only come tomorrow?! I had to take leave from the office so that I could be at home today - nobody is free to wait for him all over again tomorrow! I don't buy that excuse as well; if his car really has broken down, will it be so quickly fixed by tomorrow?! When my husband said tomorrow is not going to work, the technician then says that he will come later tonight at 7pm. Husband calls Elextrolux, operator says they have no other technicians?! This is absolutely nonsense and horrible customer service!!!

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Vintec wine chiller sud...

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Vintec wine chiller suddenly stopped working. Per the customer review, there are lots of problems with this particular model of Vintec Wine chiller (coil/ thermostat suddenly broken down after only 2-3 years). Called technician which costed 150 sgd, only checked unit for less than 10mins and asked to be brought to service center (he quoted around 600 sgd to repair it). Called the customer service the next day, waited the whole day (although technician said to call before 12pm to get repair quotation) only found that repair cost is 800 sgd. technician unable to explain what is the cause of coil damage and neither could explain what is the preventative measure. Spoke to different customer service people who said that they are checking the issue with the manager (?). Team leader RYAN called back (after repetitive calling to customer svc) to explain the SAME SOLUTION.

If you are thinking to buy Vintec wine chiller from them, or any electrolux product, please bear in mind of all the NEGATIVE reviews posted here. Buy at your own risk as after sales service and customer service sucks. I am going to buy another wine chiller that costs much less than the repair cost of Vintec.

EDITED: Ryan, the team leader, has promised that manager will be contacting me soon with regards to my email. Until now (2 weeks later), there is no call from the manager. Please do think twice from buying products from them as this customer service is really bad!

If possible, this should be a minus 5 star review. I enquired by email about buying the back porthole rim for my washing machine on 19 May 2020 and was informed that I need to place an order. ETA is 4 to 6 weeks upon confirmation. I confirmed my order and paid the required 50%deposit ( My Order No. 20102614UJ ). After 6 weeks, on 13 July, I enquired about the status of my order. There was no reply. On 16 August, I follow up with another email enquiry on my order. The reply came on 21 August and I was told my order is estimated to arrive either late December or may change. On 29 August, I requested a cancellation of my order and a return of my deposit since M/s Electrolux was not able to fulfil my order as initially stated. The reply I received on 9 September from Ms Nur Ashida was that approval from the manager is required and she will get back to me. But up to now, there is no reply. On 7 December, I emailed to enquire about the status of my order cancellation. No reply again.
If I had been told on the onset that there would likely be a long delay, I would not have gone ahead with the order. I would have just replace the washing machine. Now end of December is here and I wonder will there be a conclusion.
This is worse than poor customer service. I will not have my other Electrolux appliances repaired if they break down. No more Electrolux for me. Or maybe perhaps I have been scammed?

If your Electrolux item breaks down, you must well throw them away. So called customer care hot line no one will pick the phone. I held on to the phone for a total of almost an hour.
3 emails send and no reply.
After registered on line for repair, 8 days later still nothing happen, not even a call.

Terrible customer service. We waited 2 months for an oven knob part to be replaced, with poor interaction with the service desk regarding the ETA of the parts - we had to chase them to get the information and an appointment for the technician's intervention. The technician fixed the oven quickly but billed us SGD105 for the parts instead of SGD70 in the quotation. Luckily I was there with the quote to have this bill corrected (which the technician did immediately) otherwise my helper would have overpaid

I bought a Electrolux washer cum dryer EWW1274 in 2014. It broke down just after the 2yr warranty period. I spent $316 to repair it. In less than 6 months, it broke down again. This time they quoted $677 to repair it. I said forget it, throw it away and never buy Electrolux washer!

Electrolux technician has went an extra mile by providing detail diagnose check of our oven and explain to us the importance to pre-heat the oven time to time, even we are not using it as this is our first Build In Oven purchased. Else the moisture in it, may lead to power trip.

Can I give 0? Wish... We made a HUGE mistake buying Electrolux in Singapore. We'd always thought it was a world-leading brand, and we paid a very high price for a deluxe washer and dryer. Do NOT do it! The stupid thing breaks about every six months. Thank goodness we bought the extended warranty. However, we still fought poor customer service, lack of parts, weeks without the machines, and overall appalling service. Now, it's out of warranty, and broke down right on schedule. These machines are fine - when they work. But they often don't work. HATE these machines. Never again.

My review is typical of the rest before me, nothing good. It's true they have interesting and attractive models but unfortunately their after sales service is definitely way way before expectations. I dare even say that once ur product is down, its as good as thrash. Dun bother trying to get it fix.

Electrolux 's service centre at Galaxis is really bad. I went down in early December 2017 to enquire about a vacuum head for my current vacuum cleaner. They took down the model number and says that they will help me order the parts. In early January 2018, they called me down and show me a part that isn't what I wanted. Their CSO says that they will check and re-order the part for me again, it is now coming to end of January 2018. And there is no word from them. I tried calling back in yesterday and today, and there is no one picking up the line. For each call, I am directed to a waiting tone, and I had waited for about 15 minutes each time and there is still no one picking up the line. Thanks for wasting my time. Stay off Electrolux product, even if the product design may be good. The service and support are really doing a terrible job.

I have sent my vacuum cleaner into your Service centre SC since a mth ago. I received a call from their staff that it was ready after 1.5weeks n took work leave to pick it up 2 working days later. Brought home the serviced item n realised the faulty battery issue has not been rectified. It was a waste of my time and Travelling expenses. Had to take another work leave & brought the item back to the Service centre and was told there was a mistake on the SC part n their staff told me it will be repaired and sent to my address. Another week passed before their staff called to say it's ready and seeking to confirm the delivery date. As it's meant to be delivered to another address, I earlier already left another contact person (my mum) and number but their staff didn't contact my mum even after 2 working days later. Is it how an Global renowned brand like Electrolux deal with their own inferior quality products and to their loyal customers that supported their brand? Shocking!? Appalling!

I am using Electrolux ac for last five years.i also have a whirlpool ac for my other room. Comparing both i would say the cooling of Electrolux is not just good but best. Low noise level and a reasonable cost is like feather in the hat.

As far as after sale service is concerned every time i wanted a service for the ac i would simply call their customed care, their assistant would reach me within 24 hours.

I bought a blender one year ago and i only use it for a couple of times. I place it in cupboard when I don't use it. Last week I was gonna use it again (three months after last use), I found the cap of the blender starts to get harden and pretty fragile that it will easily get broken to pieces even just normally use. What the worst is that the blender cap generates strong smell of wax like crayon. The smell also makes my juice taste like poison inside...

I reacted the problem to service hotline and they asked me to service center for them to check. But yesterday, when I brought the blender to service center, the counter specialist directly said that the cap belongs to accessory and is not under warranty. But I d like to ask how a blender function with a broken cap which even generates bad smell? And just one year after I bought it. The service center only offered me one option -- buy a new one with bottle instead of trying to solve my problem. They even didn t say sorry to me but kept doubting the way I used it. At the moment I realized that I m really stupid to buy the product of Electrolux brand. I definitely won t touch your products again and I will tell all the friends of mine to stay away from your products.

There may be some hopes for a low quality product with good service, but only despair left for a low quality product with worst service.

Ordered a dryer through a dealer who placed the order with Electrolux to be delivered between 2pm-6pm. Even though Electrolux sent me an official sms to confirm one day before, the delivery never came. The delivery hotline 64172488 provided in the sms was useless as no one picked up despite my repeated calls. I wasted my Saturday waiting at home. Buy Electrolux at your own risk.

Deplorable customer service by Nina. She failed to be clear in explaining the break down of service fees for repair of my dryer forcing me to seek clarification. She had the nerve to be breathing out loudly on the other end (several times) to show her exasperation. Customer service is an extension of your brand Electrolux. WORK ON IT.
