Lousy product broke just after warranty (mine was a top-of-the-line microwave oven) which was met with non-existent customer service! Electrolux has just lost another customer.
REVIEW UPDATE: 10 minutes ago i received a call from Electrolux (they must have found their phone again) saying that my microwave oven has been repaired and that I can go pick it up.
5 minutes after that, i received another call saying that i have to pay an additional 25 dollars for a broken part as the repair charge (95 dollars) only covers labour - which was never mentioned to me.
After reluctantly agreeing to the additional charge, i asked if the microwave had actually been repaired. Turns out, it had not and will only be ready on Friday afternoon (2 days from now).
Electrolux staff have no clue what they are doing or saying and be warned that repair (service) fees paid upfront do not include replacement parts costs.
My advice: Swallow the loss, save yourself the hassle and go out and buy a new replacement product from a different brand!
