If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. While the representative I spoke with was outwardly friendly, I was told the birth control pill prescription I've had since I was 21 is not covered (which is mind-boggling because ACA). This is an employer plan as well, although my prior employer with a member-friendly, superior health insurance company covered this prescription. When I asked for a list of covered BC options, they told me they couldn't provide that and I would have to ask my doctor, then call them back to verify if it was covered. Why do I pay all this money for sub-par health insurance? I would never recommend this company.

Called 3-4 times to verify wether my referral would be covered by insurance, was told each time that it would be covered, and then the final time I called because my primary care provider said the referral showed they were not in network, the agent was EXTREMELY rude and cruel, and told me I would not be covered. They 90 percent cruel and rude on the customer service line, and their system is obviously flawed. UPDATE: Called back to make sure they hadn't screwed up, and yup the rude person had in fact screwed up. Basically I cried and asked the new person that I just wanted to talk with someone who wasn't going to be rude or mean, they were very kind and did verify that the provider was in network. Bummed that I had to cry and ask for a human on the line to get decent service, but thankful to that one person for now.

I signed up for BCN through affordable care act. ...

I signed up for BCN through affordable care act. My doctor was in network, but my chiropractor was not currently in network, but was in the past. Immediately after signing up, I informed my chiropractor that I will be using BCN starting in January 2018. He attempted immediately by phone to get into network...repeatedly...and nobody at BCN could / would recognize any previous attempts. So then communication went to email (for verification purposes of all attempts) with no results. (There is an 1-800 number for service providers separate from members 1-800 numbers). So then I would call repeatedly to member services and ask how long this should take...the response was "maybe a month or so". Meanwhile the chiropractor has been jumping through all of BCN's hoops. The last communication from BCN to the chiropractor was that everything is in place. It is now 9-10-18 and I still can't get attended to by my chiropractor. BCN told me that they had enough chiropractors in network in my area so they didn't need any more! REALLY? I have been going to him for well over 10 years...he knows my problem areas...I feel comfortable with him...he has made countless attempts to get back into network...seeing I am a paying member, and he has done everything they asked. My suggestion to anybody considering BCN is to find another insurance company with a rating higher than 1.5 stars! (WHY DO YOU THINK THEIR CUSTOMER RATING IS SO LOW?) I doubt anybody at BCN reads these reviews, if they do, why haven't they fixed their problems?

They block patients getting needed medical procedures in favor of treatment which has no chance of working. They dont respect doctors and prevent them from doing their jobs. If they keep the business practices they have now the may be the reason we see a shortage of doctors. It is not the role of insurance companies to become your doctor. They weaken our health care system.

In another case they have not covered basic prescription needed for my health.

We had a very bad experience with Blue Care Network of Michigan. The call center representatives could not answer most of our questions and placed us on hold numerous times for long periods of time. The staff were polite, but gave misinformation time and time again. Our worst experience was when we wanted to switch plans to save money after a major life event of having a baby. We called and asked to change plans and they sent paperwork in the mail. We filled it out and returned it promptly. We followed up a few weeks later to make sure the change went through. A representative said it was the wrong paperwork and the time period to change had closed. I explained the error was on their end and they apologized and said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said they were busy on calls. I asked for a call back from a supervisor and they said that would happen, but never did. This was just one of many challenges. We do not recommend Blue Care Network and provide this review to help others when making their healthcare decision.

Shouldn't even be 1 star, the customer service representatives are horrible.
They act as if the customer is a bother when calling in, very poor hood attitudes, angry, rude and full of mis-information. If they're not intelligent enough to answer your questions (which they're not) they will obfuscate to avoid finding the answer. very sorry I have this ins.

Hands down the worst insurance company! Their plans are terrible and they do not care about the customer. I am currently disputing a medical bill that I was previously authorized for. My doctor s office deserves to be paid, but I shouldn t have to pay when I was told it was covered and got a reference number. I appealed the charge and no one will get back to me.

I had to go to urgent care out of state because I injure my wrist. Blue Care Network of Michigan will not cover it because they say it did not qualify for urgent care. We determined that this is why they didn't cover it after me spending an hour on the phone trying to find out what happened. So disappointed.

This company took $550 from my bank account without prior authorization and it has been several weeks and several hours on the phone trying to get it back. They sent me a grievance packet. I am yet to receive the money back. I try to live with empathy but a company that treats its customers this way should do more to make up for their mistakes than taking their sweet time refunding the money they took and admitted they were at fault. What happens to you if you don't pay your bills on time? There are always consequences. But what happens if a company mistakenly mishandles private information (bank information). A shrug of the shoulders.

Instead of focusing on getting better, I spend half my time jumping through hoops to get common sense procedures such as removing a fast growing tumor that made me lose hearing in one ear, or to simply get a medicine covered that my doctor prescribed because I need it. Horribly restrictive healthcare rationing.

Very poor customer service and lack of transparency. Representatives are not versed in company policies. I received conflicting information after speaking to three different representatives all in the same day. After conferencing in with the Healthcare Marketplace and Blue Cross twice and being promised a specific premium amount considering our tax credit. Blue Cross continued to bill us for a much higher premium. I continued to call them for several weeks (over 20 phone calls!) to try to understand our bill. However, they continued to insist we had not paid our previous balances in full and therefore had incurred a balance. Although, our account on their website indicates otherwise and proves we have paid every bill in full up until the time we began receiving bills that were over $100 more than our original premium. Have since canceled our services and they are still attempting to collect money for services they suspended (over $400!). They make a profit by stealing from hardworking citizens and have enlisted the Healthcare Marketplace in helping them accomplish this. DO NOT JOIN!

I've never had any problems with Blue Care Network they have paid ALL my bills and I pay for my own coverage. It is costly but I've gotten what I pay for and more. Especially with Cancer treatments. As with any customer services sometimes you have to call back to get an person willing to hear what you are requesting. They do follow up when you are not happy with customer service.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I recently moved to the Lans...

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I recently moved to the Lansing area. I called BCN and said I needed a new doctor. They said I had to establish a new primary care physician. They pointed me towards where I could find someone in network.

I set an appointment with a Sparrow doctor, using the list on the BCN website. When I called I specifically stated that "I am setting this appointment for the purpose of establishing a new primary care physician in the area." Unfortunately, they didn't bill it this way. Now, they refuse to change how they coded it. BCN says Sparrow needs to rebill/recode it and they will pay. I keep calling Sparrow who says they can't help and refers me back to BCN. Then, BCN refers me to Sparrow. This has been going on for months ALL BECAUSE IT WASN'T BILLED RIGHT TO BEGIN WITH.

On my latest call to Sparrow they said it was my fault. Apparently, before the appointment I should have known to go into BCNs site, dig through their site for an hour, and found a place to put the new doctors name in. But, it can't be backdated. Not sure why they didn't tell me that before the appointment. BCN didn't tell me that when I called either (they said Sparrow should have billed it that way). Now, it's too late. I was fully insured and followed instructions given to me. I'm stuck with a bill, through no fault of my own.

I sit here now and I CAN'T BREATH. The doctor will not fill my asthma medication. They won't refill a prescription THEY PRESCRIBED FOR BREATHING ISSUES, because I haven't paid the bill. I haven't paid the bill because I was trying to get this billing issue resolved. Nobody will help me. THEY WON'T FILL ASTHMA MEDICATION, DURING COVID, even though I'm working through a billing issue. My life is at risk over $100 bill that my doctor and my insurance company are trying to pin on me. Now I have to wait for my asthma to get bad enough that I can go to the ER - I can't seem to get into a new doctor any time soon to get needed medication prescribed.

Fortunately, state of Michigan employees just had open enrollment. So on 10/1 I have new insurance and can find a better doctor. Unfortunately, I may not make it that long because I'm struggling with breathing issues as we speak, I can't get my asthma prescription, and COVID is spreading like wildfire in the Lansing area because of the college kids who spend all week partying and then staff all of the delivery services.

We have had nothing but issues since we first started the process of getting healthcare coverage outside of our employer. We originally called after it was all set up because our last name was spelt incorrectly on our card. Only to start a slew of other issues we would have not known about otherwise. (One of our children was not on our plan, they had the wrong month to start coverage. Our children had somehow then been signed up for Medicaid and our most recent issue, even though we stayed our daughters pediatrician multiple times our plan now doesn't cover her pediatrician.) No one here knows what they are doing!

Call center staff who don't really know what's going on, lots of time spent on hold, lots of time spent not solving problems. Dudes randomly cancelled my policy for no reason without telling me and then refused to reinstate it. So, that's fantastic. I have spent hours on the phone to resolve issues that should be quite simple.

This has to be the most incompetent company I have ever had to deal with. No one knows anything and everyone wants to pass the issue off to the next person. When dealing with people with medical needs, your staff should have an appropriate level of training, sensitivity and knowledge. The company is full of a bunch of idiots and the stress of dealing with them will make any illness worse.

This company is either intentionally taking your m...

This company is either intentionally taking your money with no intention of paying for services on your behalf, or it is incompetent. Either way, if you have any other option, DO NOT GET Blue Care Network to cover your health needs.

I needed physical therapy two years ago, and BCN paid some other company to send me a letter telling me I didn't need any more physical therapy. Which is odd, because the company was in California, and my foot, which was not better was in Michigan. And this company had never seen me, and both my foot, my doctor, and my physical therapist all said I still had a problem.

Last year, surprise, still my foot isn't better, and again this time, they say no more visits are authorized. Which is strange, since I have a high deductible plan, and they haven't had to pay A SINGLE dollar this year for ANYTHING. So they're telling me, and the physical therapist, I don't need any more care, and I'm not allowed to pay for it!?

I call them to find out why, and to see if I can get this decision changed, I was just on the phone with them for 40 minutes. At the end of which, I still don't have satisfaction, they're saying that physical therapist must not have submitted an authorization. This seems pretty doubtful, since the therapist says they did, and I believe them, one they seem honest, and since they're still in business, they know how to bill insurance companies.

Now I'm on year three, after the doctor I saw wanted to do surgery, I got a second opinion, this doctor says physical therapy. I'm expecting of course for them to say I don't need it even though standing, and walking are painful, and running is not possible, and I'm only 41.

Final update: They "paid" aka let me pay for a round of physical therapy and several more visits, again they weren't even paying anything, because high deductible plan, they just didn't deny me and tell me I couldn't pay for more visits to treat my foot.

I pushed for folks at my workplace to vote for a different health plan this year, and we've got one, thankfully. I hope they take better care of me than BCN did, but that won't be hard.

For whatever it is worth, maybe they're working on changing things, as they reached out to my comment (several years after I left it originally), and they did approve me to pay for foot treatment this time around, but I was long over them, life is too short to have your health endangered by a crummy health care company.

If you are considering them for coverage, stop now and don't look back. They have unethical business practices. They claim on the phone that my policy was cancelled successfully. That was two months ago and they are still billing me every month. Beyond that they locked me out of the online portal so I can't remove my payment information. They are refusing to refund any money. I will be contacting the BBB.

Unable to schedule surgery for my son because their system to verify eligibility is down. Now, I have to ask my doctor to call them to verify in person - so everyone else has to do extra work and my 10 month old son has to have his surgery delayed because of their system issues. If this was not a situation where my child was in pain I would consider this a joke. Also - my employer and I together pay $810.78 a month for the joy of these benefits. How is this even a real business? I pay you $800 a month and I can't even get you to confirm that my son is covered under your insurance?

We have had BC/BS PPO for several years and was ve...

We have had BC/BS PPO for several years and was very satisfied. Recently we were switched to BCN HMO. My first experience with this "coverage" has been a nightmare.

A simple preventative procedure that I have had done previously because I am high risk for cancer in this particular area will not be covered. The out of pocket cost $5000+. I have "insurance" put it is essentially useless, AND, I am paying thru payroll deductions for this "coverage."

Today I have talked with the doctor's office 3 times, their billing expert twice and a representative from BCN including a supervisor. That person said it could be covered if the billing department coded it differently. The billing department says they can only bill it one way which is the code that BCN will not cover or it is billing fraud.

The BCN supervisor went so far as to say that it would behoove me to get familiar with ICDM codes!! So, evidently patients now should be familiar with medical billing codes to have a chance of certain procedures to get covered. Seriously? It is up to us, the subscribers, to educate ourselves in a very complex area of our health care system. That is not realistic.

So the two sides, the doctor's billing agent and BCN, will not budge. The billing agent says this is the code, the only code they will use for this procedure and BCN says that code is not covered but there could be other codes they could use where it might be.

This is life with an HMO. I was with Health Plus several years ago for just two years and my experience there was about the same--------they will deny most procedures but if one is persistent and has the time to appeal once, twice etc., most of the time one will get the coverage. Time will tell whether this eventually gets covered. I will make the time to appeal and make phone calls.

Meanwhile Medicaid patients who pay nothing for their coverage receive benefits, most of the time for nothing out of pocket. Isn't the American health care system great.

And folks, I am not talking about a heart transplant here. I am talking about a diagnostic colonoscopy. Not covered according to the BCN because of the code the billing agent would use and the billing agent says that IS the code and that's it. Sorry for you BCN subscriber.

Here is the kicker; if the polyps develop into cancer the surgery and followup radiation would be covered according to BCN. As long as they are coded correctly, of course! Sounds a bit absurd but this is the reality I am faced with today.

Stay away from any HMO if you can. And, if you can qualify for Medicaid, do so. What used to be a "bare bones" government health insurance for the very poor has developed into today's "Cadillac" plan. Seems backwards to me. Those that pay (a lot) for health insurance can't even get the services these individuals receive.

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. Super high payments for very little coverage. Tons of things require "preauthorization" or they won't pay, so you have to spend a ton of time wading through your policy to make sure you're jumping through all their hoops or you get stuck with a surprise bill - or the pharmacy tells you when you go to pick up your medicine that the insurance company won't cover your medication until the doctor's office calls them and authorizes it. ??? That's what the prescription is - your doctor authorizing you to get the drug! Then there's their automated phone system....choose option after option after option....only to be told to leave a message at the end...which may or may not be returned. Hands down, WORST insurance company we've ever been stuck with - the Comcast of the medical industry. So bad that my husband is looking for a new job simply because of how terrible Blue Care Network is. If you have any other options, explore those first.

The customer service at this insurance is the WORST. It seems like no one knows what they re doing. I called to get a new primary doctor that was closer to where I live and the lady on the phone directed me to a doctor Myer who works at Henry ford medical center. I set up an appointment with the place and the woman I spoke to there said they took my insurance. When I came in for the appointment the women at the front desk said that they don t accept blue care network of metro Detroit. So I had to pay $125 out of pocket when I was directed by a blue care network representative to go to this doctors office. Not only that, but the doctor said she couldn t do anything for me because my insurance was not accepted there. I called Blue Care customer service yet again to make sure I was getting my money back for THEIR MISTAKE, and the woman said she would call me back today in the afternoon about my refund or reimbursement and I m still waiting for that call.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The service and coverage are beyond awful. The directions for remaining on the enhanced plan are not clear, and they use anything they can to put you on the standard plan, which costs more. No one ever contacted us to say we were doing something wrong, and I am at a loss as to what they think we are doing wrong. Several people in my company have followed all the instructions and still received notice they will be on the standard plan. Of those who are being cheated, many are doing battle, but this shouldn't be happening. As soon as we can get out of this mess that is Blue Care Network, we will.

This company is an absolute joke and certainly don't care about their members. If I could score less than 1 star, I wouldn't hesitate. Customer service is absolutely atrocious, extremely rude and unhelpful. Thank you for not giving me the medication I need for a condition that I have had for 16 years because I haven't experimented with enough drugs.. BCN is worthless and have no commitment to any of their members. They do not care about you or what is in your best interest, it's all about money and they have made that very clear. If I didn't have to be on a group plan through my employer, I would never choose this company but you better believe I will NEVER recommend it to anyone.

Same as everyone else. Ridiculously high premiums and crappy coverage. Will not approve prescribed medications, physical therapy approved for only 3 appointments at a time (one week, when I'm supposed to have 60 days of coverage), many physicians and DME providers won't accept BCN due to extremely low reimbursement rate. My premiums are $500 a month and do NOT include dental or vision. I've already met my $2000 max out of pocket for the year, so that's $8000 a year on a $32,000 income. Who can afford to pay 25% of their income for health insurance?? We need to ELIMINATE health insurance companies and push for a single payer, Medicare for all system.

I ve never heard a positive thing about this company and when I found out that this was my only option for coverage I cried! I m chronically ill and require more care than the average patient but I don t need a lot of expensive doctors or medication. But I was shocked to to hear that BCN was refusing to cover my pain medication only based on the reason I m taking it! I take Subutex which was made for addicts but had recently been used for people with chronic pain. It s safer and more effective than narcotics and was prescribed by a pain management specialist that s leading in his field! I ve tried dozens of medication before and have been on this one for almost two years. But I got a call from my doctor saying BCN is refusing to cover it because I m not an addict. But if I was an addict they would cover it! They said I should take OxyContin again. How is that okay?! I m on this medication because I already tried OxyContin and I don t want to be on it! How is this okay?! It s jot an insurance companies job to tell me what medication I should take and the reason I should take it! That s my doctors job! Only 3 weeks into this plan and I know it s gonna be a long year....

Lack of communication, multiple phone transfers, n...

Lack of communication, multiple phone transfers, no assistance, and blatant dishonesty from reps on the phone has convinced me to go above and beyond the grievance form I just ordered. The form, apparently, will take up to two weeks for processing to get it from their office to my home. I only live about 45 miles away from the office. I have never filed a law suit; however, I am currently researching the process due to a change in my policy without receiving prior communication. Likewise, there is no documentation of anything recent in my account. No one should go through painstaking effort to communicate with or get answers from their health insurance provider.

Two weeks ago, I was dropped from the enhanced to standard level, and learned of the policy change after trying to fill a prescription. My pharmacist told me it increased was threefold. I hadn t received any communication from BCN about changes. After spending hours trying to find information on the website and in my account, I called the company for assistance. Unfortunately, I received a run around and was transferred through multiple reps who each had to conduct research and then came back with a different answer amounting to no help. Anyone participating in the Healthy Living program knows that meetings and check ins have either been put on hold or are virtual due to current world circumstances. We are in the middle of a pandemic. I can t even get an appointment to obtain an alternate proof of weight that one BCN rep said I should get from my physician. Out of frustration, I have already made the request to completely drop my coverage through my employer when it is time for our contract renewal. I ll pay the small increase in a deductible to elect personal coverage from the market place in lieu of BCN insurance through my employer. At least I ll pay lower a lower price out of pocket. I have never gotten remotely close to meeting my deductible so it really doesn t matter to me. My experience has not been worth the time I ve spent in vain trying to resolve this problem. Like many public school employees, teachers at my school are receiving a salary cut this year due to COVID and reduced government funding. The combination of a lower salary and unexpected insurance increase is very challenging right now. The hoops required to communicate and get answers are very disheartening. The increase in what I have to pay is rather minuscule to BCN. However, it is significant to me. BCN really should take notice of the low average score from over a hundred subscribers. There s something to be said about 1.5 out of 5 stars and many people stated they would give zero if the option were available. Add me to that list. I would give zero if it were an option.

Extremely disappointed in being hung up on TWICE in one week by two different customer service reps (why ask for my call back number if you won't call back??) Most are rude and don't listen to what you are saying...I called for three weeks straight about a problem only to realize the answer was clear all along, but no one shared it with me. I understand healthcare is changing each year but the fact that my plan details tripled this year and I didn't get ant documentation, brochure, letter etc telling me about this (OR info while talking to many reps) is just horrendous and pure laziness. I ended up cancelling my plan after this and I'm sure they don't care they lost a customer.

It's a sad excuse of a company, they dont know their own policies, and when they say they are going to call you back they never do!! I am due is October and at the looks of it, I will be paying the whole bill, even though my policy says they cover 90% of out of network offices. I am beyond stressed and upset no one can give me a straight answer.

Oh I've been in touch with you guys constantly Taylar. I'm not the sort to just get on the net and write an angry review on day 3 of dealing with someone. Your poor review was well earned in this instance.

However, I will admit that your company has been of some help to me at times as well, and so I deleted the scathing review to post this, and admit that while BCN isn't perfect, few are, and that you have indeed helped me be healthier overall. I'm upgrading your review to three stars, and a more realistic appraisal of "they dropped the ball in this instance, which is terribly frustrating to a person in pain 24/7, but they also have helped me in many ways."

I think this a more fair statement than I made before. I'm still grumpy though, and until I get my spinal issues repaired with the assistance of BCN, will remain so. The difficulties of dealing with an insurance company trying to save money, while I'm trying to save me, are very frustrating to someone going through an injury/illness. I know it's a business for you guys, but all empathy has been lost from your end. That's a problem...

Customer service staff was rude and gave me wrong ...

Customer service staff was rude and gave me wrong information on multiple occasions. Tried to get list of medication brands and coverage (of the 4 drugs available for my condition) and was told by BCN customer service that I would have to ask my pharmacist for cost after a script was written. My insurance wouldn't tell me which medication was cheaper or if they were even partially covered!!? The drug formulary online is inconsistent with what I was told by BCN customer service and my pharmacist. In all seriousness, I don't know what I'm paying for...

Atrociously bad insurance company destroying patie...

Atrociously bad insurance company destroying patient care. Impossible to get to a representative, their system is designed to delay and frustrate. Then you get transferred in circles so they can avoid doing their jobs and paying for medications. Then they send you to 3rd party companies like express scripts who fail to even recognize patients in their system. Insurance companies right now think they know more than the doctors and they should not have the say in prescriptions and testing approval that they do. They base what is on their formulary entirely off of costs and underhanded deals with pharmaceutical companies, absolutely not what is best for the patient.

Every thing you try to do takes FOREVER! If you have lots of time to be on the phone to make sure your insurance is paying what they are supposed to then you will be fine. If you would like to go to a doctor or get a prescription quickly....I wouldn't choose this service.

The first time I called to inquire about personal health insurance the woman I talked to was rude and I could tell she didn t care about her job so I told her I would call back if I decided to get insurance through them. I called back a few days later to ensure that I wouldn t have to talk to the same woman and I ended up speaking with Sandra and she was amazing! She was quick to answer all of my questions and went into detail about every plan I was potentially interested in. The woman previous to Sandra told me I would be paying $234 a month and thanks to Sandra I am paying over $100 less.

I am a provider for BCN patients for Physical Ther...

I am a provider for BCN patients for Physical Therapy services. We most recently stopped seeing BCN patients because their obnoxious processes inhibit patients from receiving quality, continuous care, ultimately leading to poorer outcomes for their enrollees. Once a patient is approved at a facility, they may be seen for one visit only. After that the facility is required to send in an evaluation justifying physical therapy services. (One would think that just having an ACL surgery would satisfy this requirement alone). Then one must wait 24-48 hours before receiving a response of whether the patient is approved for physical therapy services. This creates a scheduling nightmare because you cannot schedule a patient until they are approved for PT services. Did I mention the average approval for visits is 4-6 visits? Imagine having an ACL, total joint replacement, rotator cuff repair and you are told you only have 4-6 visits of PT for rehabilitation. Yes, one can request more visits after sending in more paperwork which requires another 2-3 day wait for response. Meanwhile the patient is sitting at home not receiving the physical therapy services they were promised when he/she signed up for his/her insurance plan. The truth needs to be known... BCN's priority is minimizes physical therapy services for their enrollees, not providing continuous care for their members in need.

Horrible experience with this company. I've called multiple times to resolve an issue, waiting online for very long periods. Each time they said my coverage was updated but never was. Apparently the customer service department does not have a supervisor and they can't provide a name or contact info for anyone in charge. There's no accountability for this company when mistakes are made or when they flat out lie to you. There is no feedback email, no way to reach out to a public relations person or anyone who has the ability to oversee potential problems. Remember that the same people who are making mistakes have access to your personal information and SS# but....there's no managers on duty? Any company that charges incredible fees to it's customers but refuses to communicate with those customers or have any accountability whatsoever is an immoral inefficient mess. NEVER sign up with BCN, you'll regret it!

This is, by far, the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. They won't cover ANYTHING without a fight. All the previous Healthcare plans my company provided were fine--I never even had to think about them. With these scumbags, I'm having to fight with them (sit on hold for an hour per call, fill out ridiculous forms, etc.) every time I have any sort of medical expense. They're garbage.

The worst! When I was calling during my pregnancy for information on what tests were covered, I could not get a straight answer from ANYONE about what was covered or not. Two different people would give me two different answers. There is basically no way to find out for sure what is covered in your plan. Extremely frustrating!

This company is a nightmare to deal with. We tried to set up recurring payments 3 times and 3 times they messed it up. We were unaware of the deficiency until we received a notice each time saying we were behind on payments. Each person we spoke with blamed it on the previous person we dealt with and treated us poorly because we were behind on payments which had obviously been their fault. Do yourself a favor and save the headache. We will never use them again.

Blue care Network should be ashamed of what they are doing to people during a pandemic. I waited almost a month for them to update that I paid for cobra, after losing our coverage due to covid layoffs so when my appointments came up I had to pay out of pocket. That even more money waisted. When I filled a claim they lied and told me I would receive a reimbursement check for a percentage covered. Then said they don't cover any percentage of an out of network doctor. Then paid the in Network doctor after I submitted a claim that I paid the bill already so this doctor was paid twice. They are liars and thieves. If you're going to cover someone then do it, stop delaying and weaseling your way out of things. They should be investigated for fraudulence. I can't be the only one this is happening to.
