Service has really gone downhill at this location....

Service has really gone downhill at this location. I bought both a 2016 Audi Q5 here at North Austin Audi as well as my wife's 2017 Q5 and made a service appointment for her 2017 Q5 (well, I tried to make one) to get a faulty water pump replaced and rattling moon-roof addressed. I left voice mails with one of the service reps for a week to which I got sent to make the appointment and never got a call back but eventually, I was able to make an appointment only to find out after talking to them for a while that they didn't have a loaner available that day and I specifically asked for that since I knew the car was going to be in service for a while. I have been a loyal Audi fan for years but this level of poor service follow-up and due-diligence is concerning, especially if my car is obviously not available the same day to major repairs that are covered under warranty and are known defects. Driving around with a leaking water pump and having the engine overheating is not an option I want to risk and waiting a "month" for the next available appointment when they have a loaner available just isn't right. Audi North Austin, please do better next time or you will loose a loyal Audi buyer.

A++ for service!!! Brought my TTS in with a low tire pressure warning after traveling in from Houston and Darrell Robles had me taken care of in less than five minutes and I was on my way. He even took the time to give me a detailed "mini lesson" on what to do next time, which was super helpful! Even though they're not my "actual" Audi dealer (and they knew it), the service was exceptional. Huge thanks to Darrell and the service dept. Cannot recommend this dealership enough, and I'm going to remember this when I'm shopping for my next Audi.

This review is left for the parts department that they are trying to rip the people off. Avoid buying parts from them because when you to return the parts they don t accept the return. Even if they do they charge you %30 percent restock fee. What a great customer service. Right?
They are rude and disrespectful and I even got a chance to talk to the manager which didn t really help and he ruined my day with his tone. It is very disappointing and I will definitely let someone in the corporate know.

Wish we had an Audi dealership with service center here in Waco which we really need because I do not like having to drive that far to take my car and my car was there for 16 days once I'm sorry 13 days and they ran a toll bill off of $86 and I had to pay or else it would have messed me up. I contact Audi about it nothing was done. I contact the Audi dealership about the tolls that was put on my vehicle when it was in their custody and nothing was done at all I had to pay $86 + out of my pocket.

Audi North takes great care of my car. They always have a loaner for me, and they are friendly and helpful. Scheduling appointments is easy. Pricing is comparable to other dealerships. The only suggestion I offer is greeting customers. After entering the service office, I stand for a minute before someone greets me. Not a deal breaker, but a "hello, we'll be with you in a minute" would be nice, especially considering the price of the car and service costs.

The worst agency I have in my life. Som very rasistas and they treat you very badly, I had to go to the other agency in the south where they treated me very well. I recommend that Latinos not go here to this agency, which is the worst than the most bad OMG people. Q it hurts that a brand as limda and good as the audy has people as bad as those of this absence.

Enrique was an excellent service manager and communicated well during the whole process. My only issue is that when I got my car back the sun shade in the sunroof was torn and this was not the way I had left it prior to leaving it for service.

Q3 passenger airbag failed within first 100 miles during the first week. I drove to the dealership and I was told that the car was really smart that due to the weight of the passenger it turns off (150 lb???). After dealing with it for a couple of days I drove again and requested one of the maintenance crew to be in the passenger sit to proof that it was a safety issue when they realized I was right they accepted the car in the shop. Has been there since then and until know there is not a hard date for when it is going to be ready. Audi is faster sending a bill of 660 USD for something that clearly I haven't enjoyed and which upsets me than fixing their mess. I had only owned Audi in my life (2 different countries) but after this experience most likely is going to be the last time.

A few weeks back I purchased a Q5 through Tanner at Audi North Austin - the entire process wasn t just painless, it was thoroughly enjoyable! His knowledge and passion for the cars was vast and comprehensive, and once our decision had been made he & the Audi team ensured we would not be there long and could make our dinner plans. If you are in the market for a new car, I highly recommend Tanner at Audi North Austin.

Our experience has been a nightmere. Brandy was our sales associate back in December. First, it was a very cold day. She was very uninthusiastic about selling us a car or taking us to test drive vehicles. We drove a few different models and decided on the Q5. We wanted a few additional options that weren t in the car we were test driving, so Brandy showed us the other cars they had. My husband and I went to grab lunch and think it over. We returned that evening ready to sign paperwork. Since it was 4:30 and the dealership closed at 6, Brandy insisted that we didn t need to drive the Q5 we were actually buying and ran down the list of options on paper that it included. We had our young daughter with us and decided that we would just make it quick. When we went to get in our car and leave we quickly noticed it didn t have the promised puddle lights, a small interior button was missing, and there was a small scratch on one of the doors. Brandy apologized and reassured us it could all be fixed, we would just need to drop it off for a day of service. We agreed and left. In the following 2 months I was told to come by the dealership 3 different times just so she could tell a new excuse as to why she didn t request the parts to be ordered. Her boss took no ownership in helping to resolve the issue either. After the 3rd try I asked if I could drop my car off while I was out of town. Brandy agreed that it was a great idea and said there would be no issue having the car ready for me when I returned. Based on history, I asked for a call to confirm that the car was ready before coming all the way across town again. Brandy told me there was no way things could go sideways again and insisted on only calling only if there was an issue. Fast forward 3 days, I m landing at the airport and can t get ahold of anyone at the dealership. I head out there in good faith since I hadn t heard otherwise. Brandy apparently took the day off, didn t enter my car in the system for maintenance and no one could tell me where my car even was! They looked in their own service department, called Maserati, the sister dealership. It wasn t at either place. They were scouring the lots, couldn t find it. Finally after 35 minutes, her boss stepped up and gave me a loaner car, which was on empty and had a terrible seal on the front passenger side door. 9 days later they delivered my car to my work saying it was good to go - the scratch is still clearly visable and no puddle lights. I immediately contacted the dealership and was told they re working to resolve the issue. I haven t gotten any response back and haven t been able to get ahold of Brandy or her boss. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. Point being, don t buy a car from Brandy. Don t buy a car from Audi North Austin. Management doesn t get involved when there are service issues. We unfortunately have to escalate this to their corporate office.

Came in to test drive a used car - not an Audi - and we were not sure what to expect. The sales person - AJ - was super helpful. He was able to direct us toward a Buick Enclave that checked all the boxes for us. We had no intentions of buying a Buick but to get a low mileage luxury SUV w/ 3rd row seating under 20k was too good to pass up. I will definitely come back to buy another car from Atish "AJ" Patel... hopefully an Audi next time.

Alex was great! He explained the timeline to me and was prompt with his responses. I ended up leasing a new Q5 and did not keep my A4 after it was serviced however, Alex was still very attentive the entire time. I would have liked if someone came out to my vehicle and greeted me versus me walking in to look for my advisor. As a former Mercedes owner this was a standard practice at most of their dealerships. Thanks again for a great experience!!

So, I would say that my first experience here was ok. And that's not saying much considering Audi's reputation for providing excellent service. I think they (management) just need to train the service teams on how to better interact with customers. At NO point should a customer be bombarded with questions from two (or more) service reps. I mean, thats just common sense, really. Other than the fact that the employees seem to be displeased with their jobs, I'd say this place is good.

I have been continuously disappointed with my service experiences at Audi. I recommend only coming here if you absolutely have to. Reserving an appointment time does not do much as it takes multiple days for them to even look at your car. I have made appointments specifically around the availability of a loaner car and then shown up to have them tell me they have no loaner cars, causing me to have to make a different appointment and turn around me leave. They are slow to respond. I have asked for updates and waited a full 24 hours for a response. I have worked with guys in the service department who are not friendly. I have stood around waiting in line to be checked in while multiple employees stood around and chatted, only deciding to help me once I asked. As it stands right now, I have prepaid for a part I was told had already been installed and that was the reason they needed to keep my car for longer. I picked up my car and was told the part never came in and that it should be a couple days. That was two weeks ago and I haven t heard anything. I ve had to come here 4 or 5 times and they have been the worst dealership service experiences I ve had anywhere. Avoid this dealership if you can.

I was excellently served in selecting my new car, primarily by David Petrus, but the whole team was friendly and responsive. I have waited a long time to purchase my first Audi after owning plenty of other German brands, but Audi North Austin had a broad choice of models and specs it could not have been easier. Nice people, good deals and great car.

We dropped of our Q7 on December 19,2019 and got it back January 26, 2020. Totally unacceptable. Communication was not very good. We had to prompt several times. David the parts manager should have been the responsible person to keep us updated. They fix the backing of the drivers side last February 2019 and they had to glue it again in January 2020. And they billed us for it. No apology from David or Audi. I DO NOT recommend Audi North.

5 stars for Cory Rutherford and Audi North Austin!!! Best buying experience ever! Was looking for a used car for my son before he heads across the country. Found a prospect vehicle on the website and decided to show up and take a "test drive". Cory met us and it was smooth sailing from that point on. No pressure at all. He gave us the info that we needed in a helpful and knowledgeable way. After listening to our needs/desires we identified a different car that was EXACTLY what we looking for. After a reasonable negotiation, we decided to buy the car. We were out of the dealership in less that an hour. Cory is the bomb!!! Thank you. - Chris K.

Dishonest Service Department- Please Read

I had the Distributor Valve replaced on my Audi A4 at Audi of Beechmont in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Within a year and less than 12k miles of this Audi Certified Repair I moved to Austin, Texas.

My Audi soon produced the same problem- Distributor (butterfly) Valve was stuck open and the turbo was not producing boost.

Took the car for service at Audi North Austin. They said the whole turbo needed replaced. Wanted almost 3k. I told them I could see the distributor valve stuck open and that it was under Audi parts and service warranty.

Audi North Austin would not budge, told me I was mistaken, that the part was 1 solid cast piece and needed replaced as a full unit.

Took the car to European Motorwerks. They told me I needed to replace my Distributor valve, had it fixed in less than 3 hours, and for less than 300.

Loyalty and Audi Warranty mean nothing to this business. Take your car elsewhere.

This is too good to make up. BEWARE of Audi North Austin, they will gouge you for every penny you have. I need to replace my alternator/voltage regulator so I figured I might as well replace the water pump while I am at it. I also wanted a quote for the positive battery cable.
I called Audi South and was told there were 2 possible alternators so I got a quote for both. The Bosche $175 and the Valeo was $205
Then I called Audi north hoping that they could determine which one to order.
They quoted me $575 for the Valeo and $620 for the Bosche, $450 for the positive power cable and $130 for a water pump ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND????
I then asked the guy in the parts department, Why would one Audi Dealership quote me one price and you guys quote a different price, are you guys independent and just make up whatever process you want? I then sat quiet on the phone waiting for him to answer me. About 45 seconds later he sheepishly replied, Yes.
I told him to have a good day and hung up. I thought they would be honest since they were the dealership. After I located the parts I needed I was going to ask to be transferred to service for an install quote thinking they might be expensive but I would know I am not getting ripped off.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE, They are are more crooks then your neighborhood mechanic! If you are gullible and have the money, they will ring you up

I came in today to drop my car for a recall, before booking an appointment I asked for a loaner car and the staff told me they don't have one at the moment and they offered shuttle service back home. I agreed to that and after dropping the car, I waited for 1 hr+ and still there was no sign of shuttle service. I was told again and again just 5 minutes, I do understand it can take upto 30 minutes. I even patiently waited for 1 hr and then I had to install Uber on my phone to get back home because when i asked staff they again said 5 minutes, the staff wasn't rude or something just oblivious. I didn't expect this from Audi service center

I continue to be amazed by the Audio North Austin service. The communication before, during and after is amazing. When a service is planned I typically call my advisor Darrell and he lets me know when a loaner will be available. I drive up, talk with him and then drive off in the loaner; usually in under ten minutes. He continually updates me and returns my car on time and clean! On multiple occasions, Darrell has gone above and beyond to resolve concerns I have raised about my car - he talks me through each item and always over delivers. I honestly feel he cares about customer experience and strives to give me the best experience possible. I recommend him and Audi and I am now a loyal customer and plan to return for my next purchase.

Audi at north Austin would seem fine if Audi in th...

Audi at north Austin would seem fine if Audi in the SOUTH Austin did not exist. I called to schedule a car maintenance on the same day and here is what I got from both sides.

Audi in North Austin: the moment they received my call, they started to complain they were overwhelmed by the work they are undertaking right now (I haven't even started to mention what the problems or service I need). It took me several times over the phone to politely ask them to confirm a date I can come in for service that they finally agree to put me down on their calendar, which, no surprise (by this point to me after their complains), is in a month. Also, they asked me to call their part department to figure out the part for my car service and asked me to make sure that their part department should have that part available on the day of my service. Otherwise, i would still have to wait till they get that part.

Audi in South Austin: the moment they received my call, they greeted me briefly and asked what service I need. Then they asked for the model of my car and insurance information. Then, they quickly checked with their part department to make sure the part was available. Luckily, they had that part. Then they checked with me about availability they had for me to come in for the service, which was in two days!

I had my car serviced in Audi South Austin within two days.

I live in the north of Austin, so I prefer to go to a nearby Audi service. However, based on the experiences i encountered with both Audi dealers, it is definitely worth 8 more minutes to drive through 130 to the Audi at South Austin to get my Audi serviced.

P.S. because of my work, I moved three times in the past four years and had my Audi serviced in DC, OMAHA, and now South Austin. Every time, I had a pleasant experience with the Audi dealers and they all placed great emphasis on customer's feedback (it looks like the headquarter of Audi is super strict about having their dealers 100% satisfy the customers). With these prior experiences, Audi in North Austin is the first Audi dealer I think that shows lack of competence at their work (at least in the way how service department deal with customers) and that they don't seem to live up to Audi's customer service level.

My search for a newer vehicle began online less than a week ago. I knew what Model, Make I was looking for. I wasn t expecting an Audi dealership to have the Mercedes Convertable that was in my top 3 cars I was interested in purchasing. AJ immediately followed up with me during regular business hours. I drove over to test drive the vehicle. He had already begun the # s on my trade in value. After seeing the vehicle & test driving it, I knew it was the purchase I wanted to make. Cash down and scheduling finalizing contract at the beginning of the week. As it should be on a dealership
Saturday, sales & finance were swamped. I provided a deposit in good faith to return Monday to complete my paperwork. All staff treated me as if I was buying a brand new Audi. The things that were important to me (tires, minor cosmetic & minor maintenance issues) were documented to address prior to finalizing. The process was seamless and not stressful. I appreciate feeling valued as a customer and sales giving the fair amount for my trade in and offering delivery. This is the best car buying experience I have ever had. I m ecstatic to have a gorgeous vehicle with no hassle. However, what sets North Audi Austin apart is their attentativeness and involvement in customer satisfaction.

Thank you for the best self bday present ever!

Honestly there are some people at the dealership that care as far as servicing your vehicle. And there are some that do not. And unfortunately most of them I feel they don t care. The service manager is great. Tim. They don t respond to their voicemails. And some of them don t even acknowledge your existence whenever you walk in even though, that they are your service advisor. They charge $160 an hour to diagnose your vehicle however they can t return a simple phone call. Unless you get a hold of the manager directly. That s just a poor team effort. And that s not the proper Way to run a business. I m not going to name any names specific. Because I personally think that s not professional. However if you re in the business involving somebody else s property that they worked hard for I feel you should be more sympathetic. Also owning a vehicle is expensive. It would be nice to have somebody to actually care about your problems. But no one at this dealership seems to care besides the service manager. It takes a team to succeed. Hopefully reading this review will help you guys succeed in the future. And of course you will always receive business. Because owning a foreign car from another country leaves your options much more limited.

Be aware that this dealer does not have a solid team of sellers that are willing to sell or demonstrate their products.

I visited the dealer to test drive a new A5, and the sellers judge you based on how much money you apear to have. They just lost a solid sale!

I came to the store to seriously buy a new vehicle but the sellers were not prepared to sell even saying bad words about other competitors such as BMW.

I am very disappointed that #AudiUSA, such as prestigious brand do not have mechanisms to train their people and treat customers so badly!

We first visited Audi North Austin to take our car to the Service Department. We knew right away this dealer was different from any other Audi dealer we have interacted with, after we meet Darrell Robles. He took care of us, was very polite and thorough. He made sure we were taken care of while our car was in service. Kudos to Audi North for such an excellent service, especially when we were not their direct customers.

Then we met their sales department. Bottom line, if you're thinking about an Audi do yourself a favor and call Eon Thomas. Any negative and preconceived notions of car salesmen go out the window with Eon. I won't bother the readers with more details. Just call Austin North and ask for Eon if you're looking for a great no-nonsense, personable, and thorough car buying experience.

I should have taken my business elsewhere. Short v...

I should have taken my business elsewhere. Short version - Go somewhere else if you appreciate quality customer service from a premium dealership brand.
Long version - Went to the Audi N. Austin dealership about 2 weeks. The 2-stars are only because of David, the sales associate. He's actually 4-5 stars, but the rest of the buying & ownership experience weighed in heavily unfortunately. I wanted to get a certified pre-owned or extend the manufacturer warranty on a Q7. I considered a Q7 because it can tow a lot...with the tow package: tow module, wiring harness, and hitch (around $1100 worth of parts). Looked at a 2017 and 2014. David was working hard. We walked around and looked at vehicles all the way up until closing time (7pm), and I appreciated that. I came back a few days later after he had the cars ready to test drive.
I wanted the 2017 model, but the "mysterious finance guy" that only David could talk to wouldn't budge on the $750 I wanted to go down. I felt like they didn't want to sell me that car so I told them to keep it and went with the 2014 plus extended the manufacturer warranty. Asked them for their best offer for financing and was told my credit score was 851 (above perfect??) so they offered me 5.99%. I told them that was insulting and nowhere near competitive (market average at the time was 4-7%). "Magically" their lenders came back with 3.79% to beat a pre-approved offer I already had. Bought the car and realized that the "detailing" only covered the outside and the front seats. Found food (yuck) and other trash in the 2nd and 3rd rows. Very disappointing from a "premium" brand.
4 days later, it won't start because of a dead battery. Got a jump and drove it 1.5 hours back to the dealership. Car barely started again when they wanted to see the issue. Sat around for over 2 hours waiting for them to figure out the cause with no one coming to talk to me about what was wrong with the car or what they were doing to fix it. I had to ask 3 times to speak with someone. Finally talked with Thomas (Pre-Owned Director) who proceeded to tell me all the favors he was doing for me. Huh??? He agreed that it's highly unlikely a battery tests good (done by them) and goes bad 4 days later. I said a failing battery should have been caught during their inspection of the vehicle. He marginalized all of my previous bad experiences and offered no way to restore my confidence in that dealership or the Audi brand. I ended the conversation because he was not addressing the issues I had. Got the car back, and they didn't even do a courtesy wash. Pathetic.
Since then, I found the air filter foam covering was disintegrated (lots of small pieces and power from the foam. That shows either the service dept looked at and left or they didn't look at it at all. The cabin air filter was also filthy. The vehicle didn't come with the tow package which is the main reason I wanted the vehicle. Tried to order the parts through Audi N. Austin, but the parts dept was vague and apprehensive about giving me any information...like what parts I'd need to install the tow package. Ended up ordering from an Audi dealership in Atlanta, Georgia.
As of now, I have buyer's remorse and am sour about the buying & ownership experience. Hoping the towing experience will improve my opinion of Audi, but I fear the vehicle will leave me stranded alongside the road.

Did nice work on the issue we took the car in for but had some issues getting return phone calls for the estimate. Compared to our honda dealer the customer service did not measure up but the work was done well and the price was better than I feared.

Excellent service. However I am the WIFE and registered purchaser of the car. Why do they keep reaching out to MY HUSBAND despite my correction? Even the request for this survey came to me in his name!

With an appointment my Services were delayed, miss...

With an appointment my Services were delayed, missing items in my car horrible customer service.

I called in the morning for the next available appointment and told them I needed my car to get looked at because my mechanic was telling me that my oil was leaking. So the lady on the phone gave me a 2pm appointment time and said if it is only an oil leak you will have enough time for repairs. That was important to me because I live an hour away.

I was there on-time and I waited almost 3 hours until they were closing for the service guy To tell me ... yes there is an oil leak but you will have to come back and schedule the repair. I said oh do you not have the part? He said No it s a simple timing cap and we have those available but the mechanics are leaving so they didn t have time to replace it. I asked him how that was possible when I had an appointment and I have being waiting here for 3 hours. I was pushed off to the manager and given a loaner. After calling the next day. They still needed two days to complete the repairs. When I went to pick up my Audi a part of my dashboard was missing and I had to argue with the mechanic about how I KNOW that wasn t missing a when I dropped the car off. They happen to find it in about 20 additional minutes of arguing.

I bought my first Audi less than a year ago. I absolutely love everything about it - except for having to take it in for service. I took my car in for a recall on 1/28 & had done the appointment online and scheduled a loaner, as I was extremely busy with work and needing to go to an appointment I had already scheduled at the DMV. When I brought my car in, the service advisor, Darrell, was extremely unpleasant and asked me if the recall was the only thing I needed done on the car, which it was. I said yes and mentioned that I was in a bit of a hurry to get to the my appointment. He told me that they didn t offer loaner vehicles for services that take less than two hours - he said my service would take 1-2 hours tops. As this was something that I wasn t aware of due to the fact that while scheduling the appointment, there were no warnings or fine print stating that, I thought it was a genuine service they offered regardless of time. While Darrell continued to be unpleasant with me, he finally offered me the loaner because I had to practically beg for it to get to my previously mentioned appointment. I went on my way and brought the car back at 5:30 - 30 minutes prior to service closing. I walked inside and Darrell was surprised to see me & said he wasn t expecting me until 6 (unsure of what gave him that impression) and said he wasn t sure if my car was even ready . I continued to take his unpleasant attitude and my car finally got brought up to the front. This was not a good experience for me. I expected better customer service from this dealership. I ve always loved the Audi brand and plan on buying my next car through them. However, this type of service makes me not want to do business with them. I felt like an inconvenience coming in for a RECALL. I can t imagine how I d be treated if I came in for actual car maintenance. I don t plan on finding out, as I ll be taking my car elsewhere for service due to this service advisors lack of customer service, respect and attitude toward customers.

I'd like to thank Audi North's Service Dept. for the service completed on my Audi last week. Mike Laughlin was my Service Advisor at Audi North Austin and he was very polite, prompt & professional. I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment for a service interval and to also insure the availability of a service loaner vehicle . I was greeted at my car door by an Audi team member, we then walked inside to Mike where we double checked what was being done. As we finished up, I watched my car pull away and my loaner pull up :) Just like that I was done, it was seamless. I opted to speak to Mike at Audi North Austin through text and in the next day or so I received a message from Audi North Austin's Service
Department, informing me that my vehicle's service was complete. Thank you Mike and Audi North's Service Department for making this service visit as stress free as possible.

When I purchased my new vehicle I also purchased a roadside assist package. 1 month into my new ride I ran over glass on 183. Audi North Austin came to take care of everything. They replaced my tire and had it in 2 days. Simply took my vehicle in and they had my wheel with new tire waiting on me. It was seamless and easy. Darrel Robles has it all under control. Thank you guys.

Total rip off for the service you get.

Total rip off for the service you get.
After I took my RS5 in for service, I took it to another mechanic to see if what said was done was done and it was not. Did not use new oil filter for oil change and there were missing screws and some barely hanging on. Over priced For the lack of quality and service and seems like they are just there for a paycheck and don t care about doing right thing or customers. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle somewhere else.

Tanner is a phenomenal Audi Brand Specialist at Audi North Austin. From the moment I walked in the door of the dealership Tanner was extraordinarily helpful knowledgeable, patient, flexible, and genuinely enthusiastic about the whole line of Audi cars. I was so impressed with my experience that I have already told family members that when they are ready to buy a new Audi, they should go to Audi North Austin and ask to work with Tanner in particular.

We recently purchased a CPO Q7. Jacob provided us with exceptional service and went out of his way to ensure my husband and I were able to purchase the exact Q7 we had been looking for. He was very patient with us, as we waited a year before actually coming back in to purchase a vehicle. I have never experienced such exceptional service. Audi North Austin has gained lifetime customers from this sale.
