Took my car in for service. Contacted Eun Shin to have a loaner ready for me the night before my appointment. Loaner was ready when I arrived, same make and model of my current vehicle (hence no learning curve). I also requested a car wash and fluids topped off. Eun contacted me when my service was completed and I returned to get my vehicle and everything had been completed. Car mats were even cleaned, which I was not expecting. Great experience! Glad I chose Richmond BMW for my car purchase.

From Paul Taylor's expert case management, the maintenance techs skills, the safe and well stocked waiting area to their providing me a loaner during the service, I couldn't be more satisfied as all my expectations were exceeded. Recommend this company to all BMW owners. Also provided a complimentary wash and detailing which was icing on the cake.

I am done now with bmw ..I bring my car For oil change an tire rotation ..I pick my car up the tell me that a need a 2 back tires and front end alignment .after a day my car start to shake .I get the service done at another location ..but my car is still shaking..i take it to my other mechanic who I regular do service on my car and he say your axle is broke 700.00.ok..3 weeks later I notice oil leaking out my car I take back to my mechanic he said oh a line is broke or hoses something like that and u going to have to get another oil change 470.00..this is not the first time I have brung my car to them and left having more problem than I started with ..I don t know why or how yaw rating but it I don t see give them 4 let alone 5 stars and the customer service is not great ..

I've bought 6 cars from this dealership and they've given me no reason to go anywhere else. They have always treated me with exceptional care, the process of buying a car has always been easy, and servicing my vehicle has always been a painless experience. Not all of them were new cars; my 08 M6 and 09 328i Wagon never gave me any issues. They really know what they're doing in the shop.

Akshay, the new car manager, worked to help me find my dream i3 and gave me a crazy deal. Steve, Eve, and Andrea in sales were very easy to work with and genuinely good people.

I believe that having a good experience while buying a car reverberates throughout the ownership of that vehicle, and I continue to feel good every time I go back to buy a new car or service my vehicle. Thank you Richmond BMW!

I had made arrangements to have the plates put on prior to me picking up the car. I made the arrangements at noon, on 8-16-19. with the salesman. I picked up the car that night around 7:30. Plates had not been put on the car. I called the salesman twice that night, and no answer. Left voice mails, and called again the next morning, which was Saturday(8-17-19). He answered and I asked if he had gotten my voice mails and he said no. I told him I drove the car home with out plates and he said" I had asked for the plates to be installed" No apologies, and he had to find out what was the plate situation was. He called me back and said, plates had been printed and I could pick them up. Still no apologies. I told him I would pick up the plates and spare key that was supposed to have already left in the car.

The folks at W Broad were professional, prompt, friendly, and attentive. I was especially impressed with my interaction with Rick Nelson. He made an immediate good impression with me on the phone, and I grew to appreciate him even more when I left after having had my car serviced. He was personable and gave me time and answered my questions. Rick is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, diligent, and really a refreshing and pleasant person to deal with. I read one review in which the customer stated that it was like "coming to visit a friend" when it came to Rick Nelson. I absolutely get that. I would recommend W. My wife and I bought a used car from Richmond BMW when my wife became pregnant with our first child. Before the birth of our child we had to have the car serviced 4 times for the transmission alone. We had broken down 4 times in a period of 5 months, all issues with the transmission. I would not recommend buying any used cars from this dealership. We have lost a lot of money because of this deal, and am still trying to work under the lemon car - which this car certainly is.

From the salespeople, to the managers, to the people in finance, everyone at this dealership was friendly, honest, transparent, and actually willing to help. "Distinctively different." This is how I would describe my Crown Mini buying experience at R-BMW. I bought my first new car in 1955; the car business in those days was like parachuting into a jungle where salesmen were the menacing tigers. Having repeated this process some three dozen times over the years, I can say this time was more like a buying outing than a sales adventure. The Crown staff maintains a friendly atmosphere with no hint of pressure. My associate, James Gardner, was a professional and courteous guide, as were others who assisted me. I trust the service department will continue my good experience.

The service that my car was turned in for was never performed. I had to bring the car in a couple of times after leaving the center as things were left incomplete. It was still not done after returning. There are no checks and balances in place. Even after reporting to the service engineer, I was informed that the service manager would be contacting me to address this immediately. Its been more than a week and no one has gotten back. I have been a BMW loyal customer for more than a decade but now I am ready to call it quits and take my business elsewhere.

STAY AWAY. I was lied to and conned. I purchased a CPO vehicle a few years ago. I was strongly advised to finance through BMW because I would get an extra free year of maintenance. I went with that, even though I had a lower rate from my bank because they told me it would be worth it. However, it turned out to be a lie and they never actually extended my maintenance plan. They've admitted the mistake but now when it's time for them to actually cover my required maintenance, they are ignoring my calls. I spoke with the manager Pam one time, who promised me she would look into it and call me back, but this did not happen. I've now called 8 times over the last 3 months including through corporate but I keep getting ignored. The corporate office has told me they sent them 3 messages for them to call me but still nothing. I would never buy anything from this dealership again because of how dishonest they are and will probably never buy a BMW again in general due to their awful customer service.

Went in with the attention of buying a 2015 M4 but turns out it was sold however they just had a lease return on 2017 M4 and it was everything I was looking for all in one. Had to get some things straight prior to making the purchase. Came back the next day and ended up buying the car. My salesman Lazarus was very helpful and informative. Since the car was just returned it hadn't made it through the shop. So we had made arrangements for him to come pick the car up from and deliver it back! If you are looking for a new or pre owned BMW Lazarus is your guy at this location!

This was the BEST car buying experience I ve ever had (trust me, I ve had many). I initially went to Richmond BMW to check out an X4. After quickly realizing this wasn t the right fit for me, Eve walked me around the lot and showed me a few vehicles while explaining all the different BMW series. I ended up leaving without a new vehicle that day but gave Eve a check-list of what I was looking for in a vehicle. Over the next few days, she sent several links via email to vehicles she thought I might be interested in. She seriously went above and beyond to find the exact vehicle I wanted and at the price point I wanted. She even went so far as to email me a trade-in quote without even seeing my vehicle. I would rate the entire process an A+ from start to finish and only gave 5 stars because 10 isn t an option. There was zero BS, zero pressure, zero low balling on my trade (I d anticipated they d end up trying to go lower on my trade from what they d quoted via email, but they didn t), and zero fuzzy math . Once we were finished with the finance paperwork, the BMW Genius sat in the car with me and gave me a very detailed yet easy to understand tutorial on all of the features of the vehicle. He ensured I was comfortable with the vehicle settings and that I understood the basic capabilities of all the technology before I even left the parking lot. I was HIGHLY impressed with this crew. Via text, Jon made arrangements for me to have an appointment to see the vehicle Christmas Eve and to make sure that I was connected with the sales rep, RJ, that would be assisting me. RJ had the vehicle that I was interested in ready and waiting for me to test drive when I arrived. We comfortably moved through the negotiating phase without any tiring games that so many dealerships try to use. Anton was super helpful and efficient in moving me through the financing phase, as I had my 11 month old in tow. It was the hands down my best car buying experience to date. Came in for oil change and tire realignment at 9am and it's 1pm and I am still waiting. Asked a few other questions that I had to fix at the front desk and he couldn't help me so he said he'll find a person who can help me out but didn't. I reminded him 3 times but never came back to answer my questions. They do not have courtesy for the customers and perform poorly at following up. I've been to other BMW dealerships in other states and this one is the worst by far.

The GM, Ms. Guardino, directly reached out to me the same day I left my review and listened more about my unsatisfying experience in details and sincerely apologized for the inconveniences. She is very courteous and professional. She further assisted in answering all my questions in depth. After the conversation I had with her, I realized it was just a fluke and I had an excellent sales experience when I came back in the same week. I absolutely recommend to my friends and family at BMW of Richmond.

I had a scheduled appointment to drop my car of at 7:30a. I put the keys in the drop box at 7:10a, then paid $25 for an Uber to take me to work in Goochland. As the end of my workday approached, I hadn t heard anything, so I called and got a gentleman named Paul, who after a long time said he doesn t see where my car was ever serviced and seemed confused. After a while, he put me on hold and then another man came on the line confused and asked me more questions after repeating the same thing I had just told Paul. He finally realized the key was still in the night box and the car was on the lot untouched. He then says, oh well, I can t get to it today, can you leave it until Saturday , in a very DISDAIN way. No I can t leave it, mind you, the job to be done wasn t huge, and I did have an appointment, and it s now 4p and I have no other way to get home. So I pay another $25 for an Uber to take me back to pick up my UNSERVICED car, get to Richmond BMW and again, no apologies, no sorry you had your time and $ wasted on Uber, no nothing. So crazy, and I will spread the word and myself nor my family or friends will ever use this place that has such poor customer service!!!

My complaint is not with the dealer, it's the vehicle BMW x5. (Pull my paperwork-warning your printer will explode) We even sent a letter to BMW headquarters years ago voicing our lemon, No Response.
By far the worst vehicle we have ever owned, Plagued with defects & factory recalls . Even now it's due for two more recalls, & you can hear it coming because after having the ac compressor replaced it squeals like a pig. Never again will we own a BMW, do yourself a favor get a Lexus or a Tesla. You'll save 10s of thousands in repairs and heartache , trust me.

I think it s amazing that after 9 months of purchasing a car from this location, I still have not received an owner s manual. I have a chain of text messages, phone calls and in-person visits and somehow they can never locate it. The last piece of advice that I received was to Google It and all of my problems should be solved. So sad that as a first-time customer, I have no intentions on returning.

On the Dec 31st 2016. I dropped my car 2015 bmw 435xi at dealer in Richmond VA for car anually inspection plus the 10,000 mile priod maintenance. When I picked up the car the people at service dept let me know that:
1/- There will be a charge for inspection (new rule changed in Nov 2016?
2/- There would no vaccuum /cleaning in and out side because the machine ( vac pump) was broken down. They ggave me a voucher to be back for vac and cleaning.
3/- Couple weeks later, I went back BMW with my car for vac and clean services. But again, people at services dept told me that they did';t have the above services on Saturday.

Historically I have only purchased local vehicles after seeing and test driving the car. My wife and I found a used BMW X3 at Richmond BMW that met our requirements, and being in Greensboro, NC, Steven Lerner and his staff provided timely, accurate and reliable information about the car to aid in our purchase decision. After delivering the car to Greensboro at our request, we found that all facts and conditions were very accurately represented, further speaking to the trustworthiness of Steve and the team at Richmond BMW. I had been looking for a certain model and year of a BMW for quite some time. I finally located the vehicle on the internet through Auto Trader. I made the deal with Steve Lerner, and he was a pleasure to deal with. I had to drive from Columbus Ohio, nearly 500 miles away to pick up the car. Josh Alford did all of the paperwork on the deal and he was also great to deal with. This dealership is top notch, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used or new car. If anything was an indication of what my experience at BMW of Richmond would be, the very first phone call was. After speaking with Andrea, the calmness of her voice was nothing one would get from an accomplished sales agent. It felt like talking to a long time friend about buying a car they have listed. Just simply courteous, super nice an friendly. Every other individual involved in the entire process was only a natural enabler: Tom, Shashank, and Aaron the auto tech guru (thanks, Aaron for scrambling my brains with the tech walk-through of my 650ix). For only the second time of my life, I never felt like leaving a dealership, except for the thrill of rushing off to experience a long sought after sporty. Dealerships typically knock down the value of a trade-in, but not these amazing folks. They recognize worth, when they come across one, and although they will naturally work on maximizing their margins, the simple fact that a car with good value is recognized for what it is, shows a fair amount of respect for both the person and the car they're trading in. Anyone I know in need of a great car, a great BMW, will be worth the while to encourage them to head down to Richmond BMW for a buying experience for the ages, one to forever remember.
To all those who made the buying process of my barely used 2015 BMW 650ix Grand Coupe (4.4L V8, 445 Hp, 400 + lbs feet of torque) a triumph (Andrea, Justin, Tom, Alen, Aaron, Shashank...), you are all my heroes. Wherever I go, I park my 650 isolated from any other car, and everybody turns in the direction of my jet engine Bimmer, looking at man and ride as though I was walking on water. Steve and Rick provide a helpful and knowledgeable advisory 'tag team', treating each individual with respect and addressing vehicle problems and questions with a wealth of solutions and advice. I legit said unless you can give me a deal I can't refuse I am not interested because I love my car and had it imported from Germany. I also originally started dealing with the Midlothian BMW dealership and honestly they were not listening to what I had to say or the fact I was not motivated to purchase a new car. Eve from Richmond BMW was very patient and reached out to me about my fustrations addressing every aspect. She listed to my wants and what it would take for me to consider a deal. I have to say she exceeded my expectations and definitely worked her magic for making a deal. I will only go to this location from now on. I appreciated the respect I received here without the stressful car salesman experience. I purchased a used vehicle the evening of 11/20, but before buying the vehicle I specifically asked the sales representative if the vehicle had been checked for oil leaks and I was told "yes all of our vehicles are reviewed by our service team and any issues are corrected prior to adding the vehicle to the used car lot." I felt comfortable with the comments from the sales representative and purchased the car. On 11/25 I took the vehicle to BMW in Charlottesville (the sister dealership to BMW Richmond) to have a pre-purchase inspection done so I can get a general guide of what repairs may be needed in the future. During the course of the inspection I was presented with the final report which stated "immediate repair needed" for an oil pan gasket leak. The cost to repair this leak was approximately $1,200. I was shocked to see that this needed repair as I was told 5 days earlier that the vehicle did not have any leaks such as that even when I specifically asked about that. After the findings, I reached out to the sales representative at BMW Richmond to ask that the dealership cover the cost of the repair since it had not even been a week since I bought the car. The sales representative has not responded to any messages since 11/27 after I reached out multiple times asking for the progress to this problem. I then called Richmond BMW on 12/2 to speak to a manager, I was not able to speak to a manager and left a voicemail asking someone to call me back to discuss the situation. I have yet to hear back. This situation makes it seem as though customer service is not a top priority to this dealership and that the service department does not complete a review or repair vehicles prior to adding them to their used car inventory. I would advise all customers to not take BMW Richmond at their word and to have a pre-purchase inspection done at an independent BMW repair shop prior to any purchase.

He is very customer service oriented and has one of the most pleasant attitudes and demeanor I have ever seen at a place of business. He is definitely an asset to your company and if he worked for me, he would be promoted and given a raise for efficiency, high quality standards and stellar customer service.

A cosmetic repair to the convertible top along with the car's annual service were done to satisfaction. A check on the road force test for 4 newly purchased ties found excessive numbers on all tires with very high problems with two of the tires. Replacement tires are underway.

Horrible experience at Richmond BMW. I selected an appointment time using the online portal and arrived early to ensure that I would not forfeit my place in line. Even though I had a booking, I still had to wait before being served. The following day, I was updated on my car's status only to find out the the diagnostic was not even done! This of course did not stop them from charging me the full diagnostic fee. Car repairs aside, the lew of comments regarding my vehicle as "those older version cars" and "yeah, you'll probably have to weigh whether or not the repair will be worth the value" BEFORE I even turned in my car key seemed off placed and uncalled for. I expected a higher level of customer service from BMW.

If I could give zero stars I would. This dealership is the sister dealership to Midlothian BMW and they are both very poor in customer service and I suspect a bit racist as well. I took my car to Midlothian and they did nothing about my door lock which is under warranty. While speaking with the service person my conversation was interrupted by a white male and my rep got up and proceeded to speak to him about his car! I left there with NO paperwork and I suspect they did nothing in regards to the lock. I called their sister store, Richmond BMW , and you can't get through or when you do you are promised calls back from the loaner car coordinator and I'm still waiting for that call for over a month. I finally filed a formal complaint with BMW Corporate and they emailed the dealer and they were to follow up with me. Have not heard from them! I'm driving my car 100 miles back to Alexandria to get serviced where you are treated with respect no matter what color you are! Have been driving BMWs since 1999 and have never experience such disrespect and poor customer service as I have in the south! My money is as good as the next and I too can drive a BMW. Don't treat me different because my skin in darker! Don't shop here!!!!

I have been driving and buying cars for 40 years. I've owned 3 BMWs.
I went to the W. Broad dealer to see and test drive a couple of models.
Each time we went for a test drive, the salesman (Jack) drove us to a vacant lot.
There he accelerated at full throttle for several seconds and then slammed on the brakes.

A very dangerous thing to do. Had a brake component failed, we would have crashed into a steep embankment and been seriously injured. For what?

Who knows which cars have been abused in this way and how many times? I decided I could not buy a car from their lot but I needed some pricing info so I went through "the treatment". Jack didn't budge much on the price but he did try the cheap tactic of offering me worthless incentives to get me to buy a car that day. Ugh!

I went to the Midlothian dealer. Everyone I dealt with was terrific. I test drove a couple of cars, decided on the model and options and got a price. I went home to discuss it with the wife and choose some colors. The next day I called Jack and asked if he could match or beat the other dealer's price (the Broad Str. dealer is closer to my home). Jack agreed to match the price.

I went to the Broad Str. dealer the next day, with the wife, but they refused to honor the price Jack had committed to. They claimed that the Midlothian dealer could never have sold that car for that price even though I had the terms sheet with me. The manager said I should "take this as a learning experience". What was I to learn? I learned that I don't like cheap used car sales tactics.

So, we went to the Midlothian dealer. They had a new car on the lot that I love. They gave us a better price than I hoped for and did everything they could to ensure that I was happy with the car and the experience. I am. I can't thank Jimmy and Rick enough.

I later found out that the both dealers are owned by the same person.
But I can't recommend going to Broad Str.

Go to the Midlothian dealer.
