Decided to go to the aquarium on a whim while visiting Denver and I was not disappointed. Had a great time, did not expect there to be TIGERS OMG. And petting the stingrays was a great tome. Pretty sure I made a new little friend.

The aquarium had some cool species that I had never seen before. However, the biggest downside to this aquarium was that the signage felt very lacking. I frequently found myself wondering what something was with no information to be found.

Well it is always fun to come to the aquarium, but I dont think anything has changed since the previous Ocean Journey. Every time I come we see the same stuff over and over. I would suggest some change, maybe eventually expanding and getting some whales in here that would be cool. Good location, right by the heart of Down town and near invesco. Good fun place to explore when your bored on a weekend.

A very good display of marine life. Great ppace to spend some good time and watch exotic aquatic species up close. We were allowed to pet Stingrays which is a very special experience.

I've always had a good experience at the Denver Aquarium. They have lots of big fish to look at, mermaid shows, and you can pet the stingrays. You can tell the staff cares for the animals and the facility is very clean. I was surprised to find that they do have a tiger exhibit too. My only complaint is that the admission is pricey for an hour (1.5 hours at most) of fun.

Worst aquarium I ve ever been to. Took 30 minutes to walk through the entire aquarium. My husband and I paid $7 to park and $40 with military discount which is completely overpriced for such a short experience, safe to say we won t be returning.

Some lovely very large tanks with many varieties of fish along with smaller ones all over. Even a tiger enclosure! Dining area. Very clean bathrooms. Younger children very much enjoyed the different fish areas and it is built kid-friendly. Easy for them to get very close at their level. We put in two hours rambling through. Expensive but fun for such an inland aquarium!

Great place to see both fresh and saltwater ocean life. Can be very crowded on weekends. Staff throughout the facility generally are unable to direct patrons how to get to different features within the building. Many employees may be students on summer break. It can be difficult to get through crowds with strollers.

WAY, WAY, WAY too expensive for the size of the aquarium and the variety of species they have on display. Did I mention it's way too expensive? Because it is. I left feeling quite ripped off.

Wonderful aquarium with a great diversity of marine life. There are several touch pools, and a really awesome demo of flash flooding. There are "meet and greets" with several animals at various times and opportunities to view feedings. A great immersive experience for kiddos of all ages!

Rude staff. Not a whole lot to look at really not worth the $20per person and the $7to park. Was there for less than 45mins in that time tryed to ask two different staff members a question and both blew me off. Very disappointed.

Make sure you kids have laced shoes if they want to climb the coconut tree feature. This was not disclosed when we purchased the tickets nor listed on their website. Also was a short attraction (less than an hour). But you can always take a second pass to try and get more out of it.

I brought my family here for the sloth event. We overpaid & walked around the whole aquarium for an hour & a half. It was over packed & there were NO signs that directed to where the sloth was at, so we missed the entire reason we came in the first place! I'm super disappointed.

Took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day. Had a lot of fun. Quite a few exhibits were off limits or not functioning. Will update this review once I go and see them!

EDIT: The exhibits that I had missed were all up and running. A fun little aquarium especially with the little ones!

We had to wait at the table for awhile before someone could clean off the trash from table, same with ordering drinks and food. We were there a total of three hours from being seated to being down eating. Food and decor are amazing, though.

Fun place to take the kids and explore, they love it! Favorite highlights for the kids were the sea otters, tiger, and the sharks, but lots of other interesting marine life to see along the way.

I went with my family and there was sharks and lots of big fish. There was tigers too and parakeets and frogs. They had really good information about the animals and sea life. I got to feed stingrays for 2 dollars and you can pet them. There was mermaids that you can take pictures with. All around amazing.

The aquarium was smaller than some of the others I have been to and with school field trips that frequent here it can get a little cramped. However, there was a nice variety of animals here -- including a tiger. Overall, it was a good experience if you need to kill some time.

It's would be amazing without the closures due to the virus. But even so the fish, manta ray petting and Tiger are totally cool.
Also the aquariums restaurant had great tasting food. And there was hand sanitizer everywhere!

Pristinely maintained tanks and tidy enclosures for hours of viewing pleasure: edutainment for all-ages. No flash photography, please! Pricey entrance fees justified when one considers the enormity of maintaining and caring for the creatures and botanical life inside this very large venue. Highlights include a sting ray petting area, Bengal tigers, sea turtles, sharks, colorful sea stars, schools of fish from around the world, amphibians, serpents, otters, and more. Big gift shop at exit along with an upscale restaurant for cafe dining and private events. Helpful and enthusiastic volunteers. Parking $8 across the street; city parking $5 one block further (pending space availability); a dispensary discreetly located across the street.

Really fun place to enjoy a great meal ( be very specific that your food is to be fresh and properly cooked ) The Captins Platter is Huge and a fair price. Cool souvenir cup with your meal! Get them.

The aquarium thats attached is very nice as well. Take your dining receipt to receive an additional discount at the aquarium.

Cool experience, despite my feelings on zoos and places like this which expose the animals to high stress. I much prefer the format of the wildlife sanctuary which does not stress the animals as much.
