Where do i start the office staff and receptionist...

Where do i start the office staff and receptionists are rude and to ghetto they give absolutely no help. They dont know how to do There jobs half the time the supervisors just lie to u and dont care what your issue is. Its ok for them to be late or not even show up ut you have to be ready for them no excuses. Its a shame that they have government contracts and can treat sick patients this way and get away with it and there is nothing we can do about it but take the abuse

I am giving one star becuae there are no zero stars avalible my tranpotation driver left me even he saw me standing at my front door he drove passed me 2 times for my both appoiments and then I called the this number again to let them know that he just left and so please send me another ride to come pick me up the lady told be you still have fews mins he will come back and hang up on me but then I got computer called and told me the driver will be here in 20 mins but last 20 mins passed nobody showed up so I try to call this same number again to get help but they put me on hold and nerver reply back I had to uber after wating for provider ride for 3 hrs stright i was even late for my doctor appoiment like half hr plus I am recently my boyfrined passed away and I been going through alot recently and thats why I had scudule doctor appointment to get some medical help but this provider ride people made me feeling even worse than before I was wating under hot sunlight all I wanted is to see my doctore and nobody came to give me ride even after begging for help again and again I just wanted to kill my self after this please dont do this to people i suggest you to rehire all new people who make appointment for ride and all new well manner drivers because all drivers are horible and smoking in side the bus and I was snezzing and coughing in it the lady who make appointment never want to help and give right answers always cuting me in between giving wrong infromation out then leting innocents people surview and strugle even alot more.

I got in a sticky wicket when I wrecked my car. Someone told me about this transport system. Wow. Lifesaving. Wonderful. The drivers are always on time. They are very courteous. My goodness, they arrive at 5 a.m.on time and cheery!!!!! One cannot ask for more. I am so thankful for this. We are blessed. Thank you to all who make this free transportation such a success.

Wow. I'm coming from a Care source point of view. I've had Lyft pick me up driver was very polite. Sure your 15 min appt turns into a 3hr appt because of scheduling. I've waited on phone for 20 min. Before. Don't use them if your in a hurry. I always take a book and relax. No one has been rude to me on the phone. They sound like they're overwhelmed. Maybe they're treated badly. Who knows. I don't take it personally. They don't know me. I'll never meet them. Who cares.

Got picked up for my drs. Appointment an hour and 45 mins early. Got there an hour and 25 mins early. I got finished at 11 and i called for my return trip home. We wont be able to get a car out there to you until 1:45, 1:30 at the earliest.... Worst service when you send it to your supervisor to get a car assigned, then are still are sitting here until the time said after you call and get told they will be there in about 20-25 mins. This is terrible customer service and a terrible company.

Don t ever depend on provide a ride I been waiting outside in the cold a little over an hour now and my ride still has not yet shown up but yet if you sleep in and miss a ride they have no problem sending you a letter stating you could lose riding privileges up to 6 months like seriously I m now late for my appointment and I m gonna get billed $100 because you have to show up 10 minutes early

This is an agency that apparently cares little about helping others. I have utilized them through my insurance...and they are repeat offenders. Inexperienced drivers who seem not to know how to get me to and from my appointments. Lately they put me on hold and even refuse to answer calls. I had to call an alternate transport agency to get transported from appointment today. You'd be better off avoiding free rides from them!

They really suck when they pick you up they take you all over the damn place then they make you late to you app then they take forever to come on so you can talk to the people to get a ride back then they make you wait forever just to get home and then again they have to pick more people up before you get home. I would say skip these people all together unless you have no other choice in which i say take a cab

Horrible work environment. Management sucks. It got to the point where I would dread coming into work. They forced us to lie to clients about ETA's or why our systems were ALWAYS down. Its all about the money for these people. They literally just employ anyone. Most of the drivers are ghetto, same with the dispatchers. They really need to be more professional, but i dont blame other employees for hating their jobs. This company pays dirt and expects people to want to work there. HA. All of the good reviews on google are all from employees, go figure.

Not good at answering the phone you will be on hold for almost an hour or even longer.My mom doesn t drive on the highways and my orthodontist office is in the Akron area so we rely on them to take us there and back home and when my appointment was over my mom was trying to get a hold of them to get a ride back home and we stood outside in the cold for a long time and didn t even get home until 5:00 pm when my orthodontist appointment was over around 12:00 pm we had to stay in Akron all that time just to get a ride back home from someone else.HOW ARE YOU IN BUSINESS IF YOU CANNOT ANSWER THE PHONE??!! I don t understand definitely not getting a ride them anymore.

I used to work for this company and dare I say it was the WORST job I ever worked at. The managers are horrible they mistreat their drivers and play favorites with certain drivers they like. The office personals are horrible at their jobs especially when it comes to giving the drivers the correct address for the pick ups and drop offs. The scheduling is the worst I ever seen, you have to call every night to see what time you have to come in the next day and you have no clue when you going get off. The earliest time they made me come in was at 3am.And worst of all they have the drivers driving crappy vans and buses the maintenance is very horrible when it comes to getting them service. I wouldn t recommend using their services nor applying to work for them.

This is the worst service ever! On July 11th, my mother-in-law called at 4:40pm on behalf of her brother, who suffered a stroke, to be picked up from his doctor appointment. She spoke with Grace who led her to believe that a ride would be on the way within the hour and she would receive a call 20 minutes prior to being picked up. After an hour, she called back and was told that the driver was running behind and should be there in 20 minutes. She called back a third time and requested to speak with a supervisor and Grace told her that she would speak with the supervisor herself. Finally, at 7:20, almost THREE HOURS after her initial call, the driver showed up. He told my mother-in-law that he just received the call and came right away.

To have a stroke victim waiting for as long as he did is unacceptable and atrocious. I do not recommend Provide A Ride to anyone unless you have a whole day to do nothing and enjoy subpar customer service.

it is bad enough that the transportation provided is lackluster. but to choose fuel reimbursement is just as bad. one person can get you your paperwork to take to your doctor but the other can't return your reimbursement check in a timely manner. you better be sitting on a bit of cash to choose reimbursement process. good luck if your on a fixed income. Sad a customer is stuck settling with whatever service they get. I'll be more than happy to talk with you mr. Owner. Just found out that they changed the time to reimburse you customers from 30 days to 60. Can't make a guideline make a new one .... Smh

I will admit that this service was absolutely awful 4 years ago when I had to use it frequently for the pregnancy of my daughter before she passed. But using it now to get to all of my appointments now that I have my 3 month old son, it has improved A LOT. ESPECIALLY during this pandemic. This pandemic has improved many services and businesses. On cleanliness, responsibility, and being kind. This service has also gotten pretty punctual with being on time too, which is very satisfying. I'm very happy with this service now. There are some rude MEN that drive the vehicles and make sly remarks, especially about a woman's appearance, but hey what can you do. Most men are pigs. As long as no touching is involved, I'm good.

I work in a medical building that receives patients transported by provide a ride on a regular. The company has a driver that dropped a patient off at the wrong office. My office manager and the patient told the driver he did not have an appointment here. The driver walked out the door. I opened the door yelled down the hall to the driver asking him to come back. The driver DID NOT look back, he threw his hand in the air and said I heard her, but did not return for the patient. I returned to the office to file a verbal complaint with customer service (although I feel nothing will be done about it) and to request a pick up for the patient. The diver was very rude and that is not safe for someone to just be dropped off like.

You need to update your systems. Frequent riders should only need to give first & last name for all information to show up. Such as Doctor's office and location. I am quite sure my daughter was not the first person to go to University Hospital. It should have been auto populated just by inputting the name of the Hospital. Instead she was told to call back when she had the address. Where's the customer service? Why couldn't he look it up? However, if it was automatically generated in your system it wouldn't be a problem.

I do not use provide a ride, but I work in a doctor's office any many of our patients do. Everytime I call for someone's return trip its about an hour on hold before anyone picks up the phone. I've also had experiences where people have waited for 4 to 6 hours for someone to come. I even had a handicap patient in a wheekchair from a nursing home dropped off and the ride never came. I had to argue for someone to come from the home and pick him up since he sat here the entire day untill we closed. Very poor service.

They refused to schedule a trip for a day of surgery (until the day before) but when I phoned with an exact time I was needed for that surgery (...the day before) they refused to schedule it. (a supervisor named "Derrick" confirmed this).

Currently, they are late for a scheduled trip - and I have been on-hold for 26 minutes, waiting to get any status (my medical appt is in 4 minutes).

The worst customer service representatives! They re extremely rude, highly unprofessional and in immediate need of professional training. It doesn t matter if the service is paid personally or by a third party they are still employed to deal with the public. The supervisor above one of the reps that I spoke with lack just as much professionalism. My ride was not booked due to call disconnected I called back and was treated just as poorly by a rep expressing pure ignorance and disregard to customer service. The call was again disconnected at the same point of scheduling I ll call back later hopefully I ll get someone that is willing to do their job.

I wish i could rate them a zero! We had a patient get dropped off at 1245 today and then picked back up at 5:52 when we called for a return ride at 2:30. We called 5x and got 5different pickup times. The patient was a 75 year old diabetic in a wheelchair! Our induce closed at 4:30 and they were told that - still didn't care. The poor patient was so distraught. You have to do better!

Absolutely awful. I had a dentist appointment for a couple of root canals at 8:00am. The ride was supposed to show up at 6:30, seeing as its a hour and a half ride to cleveland from my location. Its now currently going on 7:15 am that my ride showed up. My mother told him I literally cannot go and he gets really angry and says "well I drove here all the way from akron!" As if its my fault he's late. Hes still sitting outside despite us telling him we're not going. Worst service Ive ever experienced. I waited through so much pain for a year, banking on this day to fix my teeth, and now BECAUSE of this company, I have to reschedule. My sister also ran into issues with this company, and needing to reschedule an appointment. Judging from all the reviews, its clear this company is no good. I have never been so upset in my entire life, and sincerely hope this company gets shut down entirely.

My mother is 79 yr old Dialysis patient..stage 4 Cancer and on Portable Oxygenand it take a hour and a half to return home..when her oxygen tank is empty..I called and all they said was to bad sir..we share ride so if your mom lives down the street .we still will take her cross town to drop off a health person..Sad so sad.

Spent 34 minutes on hold for a ride home - wound up paying $85. for a cab home. Figured we were abandoned and stranded out of town.
Another client called for a ride home at 11:30 AM was still waiting at 4:30 PM.

The worst service I ever I had. I missed two of my doctors appointments because of this service. I was told on the phone my ride was 15 minutes away. I call back 25 minutes later and they tell me its cancelled. Also they hang up on you when they put you on hold.

I'm not going to go all in on Provide A Ride but I'm very unsatisfied with their quality of service on many level. Customer Service would be first for major revamp! I waited for 45mins for someone to answer and before I could responded to the hello I was hung-up on. The females all sound like their mad as hell! Second getting to your appt.1hour an 30 early and wait for your return trip for hours. There should be more consideration for the passengers health conditions, some of us can't sit for long periods or need to be at another following appt. THANKFULLY I HAVE YET TO HAVE A UNKIND DRIVER! I hope some of these issues can be addressed soon. Lot of people depend on these services so Provide a Ride work really hard to resolve these overwhelming issues!

I was picked up at 9 o'clock this morning. I live in Akron.One other person was in the van. We both went to cleveland. My pick up time from the doctor was 11:30-12:00. Instead of taking me home after my appointment he went to Ravenna to pick up a lady that was going where i was. The we picked up the first person that was in the van. Cool! Then the driver says" we're going back to Beachwood to pick up the lady".( with the one o'clock appointment)where i had just left. "Then we're headed to Akron."Did we head to Akron? HELL TO THE NO!!! He took his one oclock appointment home first. He took her to Ravenna. It is now 3:11 Im still in THE van. Provide a ride should not sub-contract to incompetents. 10 o'clock appointment should not have to wait in cleveland until the 1o'clock appointments are done. A person that gets in the van first should be taken home first. Not after everyone else gets home to make it convenient for the driver.This was the most ridiculous and degrading ride I ever took. The driver 'bill' told me i should not complain because its a FREE RIDE. So i had to let the idiot know ,that I worked and have a pension coming if I live. So in essence, you're hiring people that dont feel the customers deserve respect.

Arrive to pick me up for my appointment two hours and fifteen minutes too early, thus I waited in the physician's office for two hours until my appointment. The cab was filthy and seems as if it wasn't cleaned in years. The driver attempted to proselytize me to become christian, which I am not, and said it was satan's fault that there are so many psychologically and physiologically disabled people in Youngstown.

Then I had to wait for a ride for 3 hrs for a ride back. Oh and they keep pushing the refund program, if I had the van and drivers to accommodate my wheelchair I would not be calling Provide a ride. It's a black woman that works on the inside of the building that's terrible. Acted so like a "hood rat" and didn't want to help, do her job or act professional. I was waiting to be seen after a phone call received and you could hear her loudly and ghetto through the glass slide window in the main entrance talking to her co-workers about how I wouldn't leave. Then she kept coming back to the window with lie after lie. With the fake smile looking dumb not knowing she could be heard. I'd recommended not requesting service from these guys or even employment. Very unprofessional and it seems they hire just about anybody that can pass a drug test which isn't hard... I actually felt like the lady was under the influence because of how loud, uneducated and ghetto she was being at her own workplace. Prime example of why black businesses get bad names or why businesses overall doesn't want to hire black people. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau this company needs to be shut down.

Had a ride scheduled for an appointment, got an automated message that the driver will be at my home at 8:38 a.m. I went outside to wait as soon as I hung up, by 9 a.m. I called Provide-a-ride they said the driver had been at my home and left! They are hit and miss. They subcontract out to shady companies, but some times you get a good round trip. It's almost as if their vetting process is nonexistent. Roll the dice if you'd like, I will be seeking other options now.

Horrible! Horr....I.....ble! I am a rider from Elyria and it's terrible how poor the service is to both riders and employees! I do NOT recommend provide - a - ride. Instead I would rather pay from my card from Lyft or Uber to get a ride to any (and all) medical appointments. They left me stranded twice! They did the same to my grandmother who was very ill (may she rest in peace.)

I had to take my son out of school and they didn't even pick us up! We had to reschedule my son's appointment, which was an extremely important to go to. We've been on a really long waiting list for the appointment and now we have to start all over again because they didn't pick us up!

We had to wait over 2 hours for a ride home. Can hardly blame the company, I blame the hospital for outsourcing rides in Youngstown from a company in Cleveland. Could have used some honesty when calling for the ride, didn't know it would take so long. Maybe could have eaten something while waiting. Not a good situation for seriously and chronically ill.
