I called Coolray with an emergency call on a Saturday night and they came out promptly and repaired my AC unit within the hour. Excellent service and they had all the tools and equipment needed to fix the problem.
Will definitely use them again when I have an issue!

One of our two HVAC units that had not been replaced since our home was built stopped working a couple of days ago. I contacted two other companies to get quotes on replacing the unit, then called Coolray. An appointment was scheduled for yesterday at 6:30, the Coolray sales rep Russell H. got here exactly at 6:30 as agreed.
I was fully expecting Coolray to be on the high side pricing wise. To my surprise I was able to purchase a Carrier Infinity system for close to what competitors were quoting for smaller (2.5 ton versus 3 ton) units not of the same quality that I believe Carrier is.
We scheduled install of the new system today at approximately 9:30 AM. At 9:30 AM this morning a Coolray truck with two service technicians arrived. The lead installer as well as his assistant were outstanding answering all my questions plus taking the necessary time to walk me through the system and its' features. The install took approximately 4 hours.

Pleasant experience. He helped me to connect my thermostats to the internet so I can set it from my phone or I pad. He was very helpful answering my questions. I felt like he did a good job servicing my units upstairs and down,
Scott was very courteous and attentive to details during service check up of our 3 AC systems. He verified that our systems were in good order and answered all our questions. He repaired one of the water condensation drain lines and even took extra moment to route it such that it would not likely be hit by lawn mower blade or weedwacker.

Mr. Plumber not so upfront on pricing. Called to unclog a toilet. The next day when the person arrive the toilet was flowing again. They charged $683 to my credit card after telling me it was $49.
Our Coolray HVAC service technician, Harry Cerny, just completed the annual check up of our AC systems and all is well. Harry has been servicing our system since it was installed over ten years ago and one major remodel of the house. We have a very complicated system with 3 units (two 2-stage gas furnaces with steam humidifiers, one heat pump,) which are all interfaced with a 13 zone Crestron Home Automation system. Harry has kept this system up and running to our great satisfaction and comfort. He has been instrumental in working out any problems with our Home Automation technicians. We have been so pleased with Harry's work that we maintain a service contract with Coolray with the understanding that Harry services the machines. The office staff at Coolray have always been friendly and accommodating in scheduling all service appointments. Thanks again Coolray and thank you Harry for another job done well.
Called to repair leaking outdoor faucet. They also repair another plumbing issue. Chad did a great job. I would definitely use again and would also recommend to anyone needing a good plumber.
Coolray / Mr. Plumber scheduled to replace my water heater two weeks in advance. They called to verify that the scheduled date and time was still convenient for me. The plumber called to let me know when he would be arriving on the installation day.
The plumber, Blake Robinson, did an exceptional job removing the older unit and installing the new water heater with additional items to ensure that it met the county code. He labeled the water lines, verified that the new unit worked properly, and checked for any water leaks.
I highly recommend Coolray / Mr. Plumber and Mr. Robinson. (Exceptional Customer Service).
I write this after spending 3 hours cleaning up the enormous puddle of RAW SEWAGE left by the Mr. Plumber tech that was as our house. We had a sewer line blocked and I tried the $93 or Free offer from Mr. Plumber (part of Coolray).
To their credit, it was $93 and they cleared pipe. I wasn t expecting white glove service, but what I did not expect was to have to clean up the enormous puddle of RAW SEWAGE (did I mention that?) left in our bathroom. And when I say enormous, it is a small bathroom (about 6 x 6) and you could only see about 25% of the floor.
The other stuff being late, not finishing the same day, forgetting to schedule a follow up to finish the job is annoying but can happen. Leaving our home they way they did to me that is inexcusable. The tech did offer me the phone number of a restoration company so I could get someone to clean up after them. He also pointed out that I needed to take care of this quickly as it would quickly become a health hazard. I will think very long and hard about ever allowing Mr. Plumber or Coolray anywhere near my house again.

Appointment scheduling was extremely quick and the price in the provided estimate was relatively fair, minus the additional items added to the estimate unnecessarily. My complaint is with recent service itself. (previously I had a much better experience with standard maintenance service)
I didn't feel that the tech seemed all that knowledgeable (didn't seem to understand or believe my explanation of the problem without jiggling all the pipes and conduits running to my equipment downstairs). Two hours after leaving, my AC wasn't working again - which, if his "diagnosis" had been correct, it would still be working ("tripped breaker" when he arrived, but the breaker was still on when it died again - 9 times out of 10, something malfunctions to cause a breaker or disconnect to trip).
The technician spent very little time looking at the unit (maybe 5 minutes), quickly diagnosed it with a commonly diagnosed issue, and then tried to up-sell me annual service against my wishes, along with other items that, as it turns out, are not necessary even if the diagnosis had been correct.
It felt like the guy was sent to just show up and sell me as much as possible, not actually try to resolve my issue. An actual faulty breaker or disconnect is not all that common with a properly functioning unit, as it turns out. I'm lucky to have connections in the industry to educate me when technicians and salespeople might otherwise take advantage.
I realize it's their job to sell services, but I did not feel as if I was provided with any technical assistance that I couldn't have done on my own.
our Cool Ray technician, Robert, was very knowledgeable about our problem and came up with a solution ( which we all hope is the answer ) and spent as much time as was needed to help us out. I was able to contact him directly to ask additional questions a few days later and he got back to me that day. Now, we wait to see how all things turn out in the next weeks.
A/C went out on July 3 about midnight and Coolray had a tech at our house the next day before noon. Yep, on the July 4 holiday. I was so impressed. And our tech, Bernard, was the epitome of professionalism. He identified the problem, showed me the component that had failed, and had us up and running within about 20 minutes. And while he was there, quickly repaired another issue we had. Excellent tech, great service. I will definitely remain a Coolray customer. Please pass on our compliments to Bernard!

Very knowledgeable and experienced technician. Pointed out not under current code flex pipe on my four year old furnace. Quick response on questions I had about my cold basement. An expert called the next day. He gave me options and costs for each over the phone. Excellent!
Overall experience from my initial meeting with the salesman Dustin Forrester who clearly explained the products offered & the installation process, to subsequently meeting the two installation techs, was very good. I also loved the fact that you get a text message on the day of your job, informing you of who will be coming to do the work. This message is accompanied by a photo, so you know who to expect at your front door. Upon arrival, both Daniel Gazaway and Tevin Bridges were professional and friendly, they also worked diligently throughout the day to get the job completed within a reasonable timeframe. Work areas both inside and outside of my home were cleaned up nicely and I'm extremely happy with the results. Overall experience means I would most definitely recommend Coolray to others. I take referrals seriously, whether it's giving or receiving them, a referral from a coworker is actually one of the main reasons opted to use this company myself. The sales technician was very professional and clearly explained all of my options for a replacement system. He did not try to over-sell something I did not need, but was careful to insure that I was presented with options that met my needs. The gentlemen who installed my system were likewise very professional, very thorough, and completed their work very quickly. I am very pleased with the entire experience.
My tech sent me an email with photo letting me know he was on the way. He was on time and when asked to show me specifics about the new thermostat, he was able to show and explain to me what was needed to make the changes in temp, etc. that I needed to know. The A/C service was done quickly and efficiently. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We see a different technician every time. They don't seem to share records of work done in the past so we are often revisiting everything. For the fees we are paying I would expect better records of service.
WOW! I cannot say enough about Justin's attentiveness to detail and willingness to talk me through the concerns I had for my system. As a Realtor I value more information for application to my clients and could not sing Justin's praises enough, that coupled with next day availability and timeliness was much appreciated. Could not recommend enough!
I had Coolray out a couple of weeks ago to fix my three year old system and they charged me $165 to clean the coils and release some Freon. This past weekend they had to return because that did not fix the issue. This time the found that a capacitor and the fan motor were bad and needed replaced on my 3 year old Carrier unit. Good news was the parts are warrantied bad news is Coolray was going to charge me an additional $380+ to install them. I failed to mention that I am under a maintenance contract with Coolray that should have caught any issues with the coils needing cleaned as they come out twice a year to perform preventative maintenance. Needless to say I will not be using them for the repairs and I will not be renewing my maintenance agreement as I feel taken advantage of in this transaction.
I've used them for many years and have never been disappointed. They are always professional, on time and reasonably priced. My maintenance contract with them has saved me money many times over. Waylon was just here to help me with a thermostat issue and he corrected it quickly and efficiently. He was professional and is a fine representation of what level of service you can expect from this company.
THANK GOODNESS FOR JOHN MATLOCK!! If it weren't for his excellent troubleshooting, skill, and plain common sense, I would have literally wasted at minimum 4,000$ to another company who totally misdiagnosed my plumbing problem, which it took them over 4 hours and $605 to do! Talk about paying for nothing! John was out to my house and knew what the problem was in under 5 minutes. He was quick, extremely professional and explained things to me keeping in mind that plumbing is NOT my specialty. I understood exactly what was going on and trusted him to take care of it. This company is so great, they even applied the service call charge to the cost of the repair. John is well versed in different aspects of plumbing, that being known.... why waste time with any other company? I know I never will, I will recommend John and Mr. Plumber to everyone I know.
Coolray installed two complete systems in my home a few years back. One of the systems was a multi-zone that provided service to the middle and lower levels of my home. Recently I was having a problem with my lower level over cooling and Coolray sent a tech out to diagnose an ongoing problem. It turned out that one of the vents was wired to the wrong zone and was the cause. Coolray repaired the problem at no charge even though the system was out of warranty. Pretty amazing stuff nowadays! They do stand behind their work and have some great employees.
Eddie was very professional and took care of upgrading my outlets and switches in my basement. My house was built in the mid 80's and if this was not addressed it could have caused a fire. Thank you Eddie!
I love Coolray / Mr. Plumber. I have always been thrilled with the service we've received, but the renewal process did not go as smoothly this time as I had expected. Perhaps it was just miscommunication but the charge on my credit card was processed a day earlier than agreed upon. So while my overall impression of Coolray is five stars Plus this incident has left me with a 3-star rating. I'm sure that will go right back up to 5..... I look forward to continuing a positive relationship with Coolray / mr. Plumber for a long time.
Marquist was wonderful. I always have great service with all technicians here. I've had to have a lot of work done over the last few years and they are always punctual, kind and understand when I can only fix what absolutely needs to be done.
When the deep freeze came through last winter and my pipe burst, they came out and fixed it. At the time they seemed nice and to do good work. However, my regular plumber came out and looked at it and told me that they not only charged WAY TOO MUCH for what they did, but that they didn't even do everything they needed to do. I had purchased their year plan but I'm just cutting my losses on it because I don't trust Mr. Plumber anymore.
The tech, Douglas, was timely, friendly, and knowledgeable. The comfort consultant, Dustin, was outstanding and was a fantastic help during the process of setting me up with a new system. Can t say enough about the great job he did. Well done.

The salesman Lance was the most thorough of all the quotes I received and helped us to reorganize the duct work layout to improve the system without spending a fortune.
The representative that came to my home was polite in the bless your little heart sense. He was oblivious to his own actions and refused to try and see were he was wrong. He spoke of me as if I was not in the room and couldn't speak for myself like a child. I was not given the opportunity to review the financial paperwork/agreement before they were finalized and was cheated out of my right to a copy because he chose to use my husband's email/phone number for everything instead of taking the time to ask me for my information since my credit was being used to cosign but I did not sign or consent to anything despite what the contract said. Luckily I did read everything once he left and was able to stop everything before it was too late.
The technician, very friendly and helpful, obviously knew what he was doing; diagnosed our unit's problem in a matter of moments. We've been using Cool Ray for almost as long as we've lived in metro ATL (30+ years), and have always been pleased with our service.

We had our HVAC system inspected by them about a month and a half ago. The tech even made us replace our furnace, saying there was a 'crack' in it. Didn't really have to use our heater until this weekend. I paid close to $1500. This is the coldest weekend in this year, and the heater is not working. It's 60 degrees in my house. My husband calls them and is told no one can come until 2 days later. I call them and they tell me someone will come today but they can't tell me when. It's been hours since that call. As far as I can tell, they are crooks. They are about to lose my business.
Being a long-time customer, I have received great service jobs from most of the technicians. I have to rate the recent maintenance job performed by Jeremiah Daniels at the top of my list. He paid attention to the smallest detail and efficiently brought my units back in line.
Had heater install a few years ago technicians did a great job with the installation and clean up I have had a maintenance agreement with them since then. Have had a lot of different technicians to come out to my home but I think Rodriguez has been one of the best
I had my first Mr Plumber 108 point inspection today. I never realized how important having a service like this was. Before today, it was wait until something goes wrong and then call the plumber. Now it's all about seeing where something can go wrong before it does and taking the appropriate steps to prevent it from ever occurring.
My plumber tech, Ron Austin, was very thorough, detailed and took the time to help me understand exactly what I needed to have done, the cost and the time it would take to get the work done.

Kenneth was professional and courteous upon his arrival. He made sure he understood exactly what our experience was with the HVAC issues. I felt like he actually listened to me - which sometimes doesn't happen when a technician comes to the house. He quickly assessed the issue and had it repaired. Then he and Gary checked breakers to make sure everything would continue to work correctly. I appreciated that Gary was willing to assist Kenneth by going back out to the truck for materials and not just stand there since he was the supervisor. This was a great experience and I will continue to use Coolray in the future.

I tried Coolray for the first time and I must say I was fairly well impressed. The technician clearly knew what he was doing and answered all my questions. Also did a few extra steps that I never saw my prior company perform in their service calls. I will become a regular.
This was the worse service. Charged $1800.to replaced compressor for labor. Yet it was in warranty It took several phone call and the 1st install was bad. It was not installed right. After several calls and a week later they sent a Good service man and 6 hrs later it was fixed right and is working great .metro mech. Did the 1st install when we bought it. And have had a lot of problems for years.
Coolray has been my "go to" company for HVAC maintenance for over 25 years. I've also purchased an A/C and heating system in the past. They are professional, prompt, honest, offer fair pricing and provide quality work.
We had been with a smaller HVAC group since we got into our house several years ago and while they generally did good work, the service was aalways a little...meh. Then About two weeks ago our heat went out. When we couldn't get ahold of our regular HVAC guy (yet again), we made a call to Coolray for an emergency visit. The difference between our previous HVAC company and Coolray was just night and day!
While the job ended up being a lot bigger, more expensive, and stressful than we would have liked, the entire Coolray team was amazing from end to end. I just had my furnace repaired by Louis Gusmann. He came on time & did an Excellent job on servicing my unit. My heating unit for the down stairs kept defaulting to a lower temperature, even after I had it set to hold on a certain temperature. It made our downstairs very cold & uncomfortable. I thought my unit was going out, but Gusmann took his time to diagnose what the problem was & fixed it. I'm so thankful that I've been a Cool Air Mechanical customer since last year. When I bought my AC I was given a "lifetime" warranty as long as I had it serviced 2x per year. Suddenly last year this "lifetime" warranty was endangered if I did not upgrade to a surge protector so I finally had to spend another $250 to re-enable my "now really lifetime" warranty. Not very customer friendly to change the conditions. Giving 4 stars because they came quickly once when my AC died and it was dangerous to my health to wait a few days. If not for the "lifetime" (with new conditions) warranty then it would be 5 stars.
We had Coolray install anew HVAC system in early May. The lead installer, Patrick Amoah, was nothing less than courteous and professional. He and his work partner showed up on time and worked so very hard all day! He made sure that we understood how the thermostat worked, help us setup the app on our phone and other devices without rushing us through that process. I am so very happy with the whole experience.
