When I bought my AC I was given a "lifetime" warranty as long as I had it serviced 2x per year. Suddenly last year this "lifetime" warranty was endangered if I did not upgrade to a surge protector so I finally had to spend another $250 to re-enable my "now really lifetime" warranty. Not very customer friendly to change the conditions. Giving 4 stars because they came quickly once when my AC died and it was dangerous to my health to wait a few days. If not for the "lifetime" (with new conditions) warranty then it would be 5 stars.
