Been attempting to contact a person at SF HQ regarding bugged rating caused by one merchant. My UberEATS has been deactivated fraudulently and cannot get a reason or phone call from anyone to properly dispute guaranteed rating drop caused thereby. All I keep getting is form responses that do not address the issue.

If somebody could contact me that would be fantastic.

I am Uber driver and I am VERY disgusted the company and can't wait to leave it. Not just the company ripping off drivers by charging them 30% for each ride - they do not provide absolutely anything back, period! Drivers have to pay for gas, buy a car, insurance, car maintenance and many more.
Customer service is so useless and unprofessional that I cannot even describe it but any Uber drivers can proof it.
Uber don't have even a phone numbers for drivers or riders to call at least in case of emergency. Uber owner gives ZERO benefits of any kind to drivers so the company that is $64 billion dollars in value don't want to spend pennies while making billions?!!!
Shame, shame, shame on GREEDY owner! unfortunately I have special reason to work for this terrible company for couple of months more but I cannot wait to get out - they treat drivers as SLAVES - period! I regret the day I started working for this company

Horrible business. Communication is terrible. They hire overseas people to give non-answers to questions that really do not help you whatsoever. No safety for passengers, driver's get ripped off and are not supported by the company. Take a taxi or maybe try Lyft (I am not sure if they are the same... if they are, then stay away from them too). Anyway, find the alternatives to Lyft.

For such a large company it is disgusting that your Customer Service is this atrocious. 10 times worse than anything I've ever experienced in my entire life. With millions of complaints about Customer Service, one would think that Uber would get the message loud and clear. Nope. Complaint after complaint. Well they're bleeding market share to Lyft and Uber just reported their quarterly results where they lost 5 billion dollars. How a corporation loses 5 billion in 3 months should be beyond comprehension, but at Uber they must run their financial department just like their Customer Service department. I feel terrible for drivers and consumers since Uber treats them like garbage.

I have had many issues, from app problems to not paying correctly, now having the worst customer and driver experience I hope no other passenger or driver has to experience. And all Uber does in the interim is send generic responses. Think 2x before signing up

Uber is great for riders, but horrible if you are a driver. They are very unresponsive and impossible to reach. They have no contact number, only an email address, and the replies sent are prefabricated templates to address general questions, they provide no actual assistance. I will recommend everyone use Lyft instead of Uber as their customer service and rider support are horrendous.

They also encourage you to buy things you don't need at prices you can't afford. I had people laugh about the interest rates on their cars.

I've been a driver and a rider and as a driver was asked to agree to new terms and conditions weekly and as a rider have frequently been frustrated by the unreliability of drivers... Recently I requested a ride, a driver accepted and then he drove away from me for 30 minutes... in that time I tried to cancel but wasn't able to without paying a late fee, despite that the driver was never going to pick me up. After 30 min he cancelled (without any penalty) and I was able to call another, but that that pony I was already in a lyft).

Then, come to find Travis Kalanick verbally abuses his own Uber drivers.. it all goes to show it can be as bad as I pondered when the really nasty allegations started coming out months ago... go with a competitor, any other competitor!!!

I have never used Uber but was informed by my bank that they had flagged a $536 charge made to my account..What? Someone got a hold of my card # somehow :( I got the info from the bank yesterday morning 2/25 at 9am as to where the charge was made. I e-mailed Uber support at 10am (had to wait the 3 hour time difference), got an immediate response from Alexis, we went back & forth with a few e-mails & long story short..my bank account was credited the $$ this morning 2/26 at 8:30am!!!!!!
Great job Alexis & Uber, I really wish more companies out there provided such excellent customer service!!!!!

Terrible customer service. Claimed I owed three dollars and it was taken out of my bank and would not allow me to schedule a ride. I sent pictures and was not able to use my PayPal. I added the same card from my PayPal and had to pay $3.00 that I had already paid. The csr was useless. I had photos from my bank account to prove that I had paid,I never received an email regarding an issue with my payment, because money has always been in my bank account. I'll be using lift going forward.

Some bad drivers out there who cherry pick. The UBER policy of charging the customer AFTER 5 minutes of waiting is FLAWED and NOT customer friendly. It encourages drivers to accept and then cancel yet still get paid. There is NO system of recourse for the customer, and their internal procedures appear to have no impact to the driver, which is why the practice exists.

Uber has the worst support I have ever dealt with, on par with Comcast. I left my keys in an Uber and have not been able to retrieve them. It took 5 emails for them to respond to me, and even after they did, none of the information they gave me was helpful. It is simply impossible for a company of Uber's size to carry out support issues through email. If Uber wants to satisfy its customers it needs a phone systems where issues and frustrations can be solved. If Uber doesn't want to help you with an issue, they don't, they simply don't respond to your emails and you are left helpless with no other options. I will be using Lyft for all of my future rides.

I was trying to become an Uber Driver/Uber Eats delivery driver and I started the online application process on August 14th- I uploaded all required documents as requested successfully and quickly and was waiting on my background check. Here I am 3 1/2 weeks later and still no background check clearance so I am unable to go online using the phone app and I have sent approximately 20/25 emails to customer support which are definitely overseas because I get generic response emails with NO answers to my question or problem. The responses have been from someone different every time and of which they have done absolutely no research to my issue whatsoever and just keep telling me to be patient they are working on the background check issue. Seriously? Had just one customer service rep done their job they would have had the problem resolved. Perhaps Uber should think about having customer service support reps in the US that can understand and answer drivers emails/concerns/issues and questions correctly. It should tell you something when a company does not even have a phone number for drivers to call - so we are at the mercy of emails which took me forever to figure how to send due to not having access to my phone app. I gave them only 1 star because otherwise they would not allow me to post this review. They do not even deserve 1 star. Pathetic company horrible experience. I am a Lyft Driver now - onboard process so much better!!!! I highly recommend the same to the rest of you thinking about signing up with this company!!! Do NOT do it!!!! 8 out of 10 times the drivers show up with no info at all about our intended destination, totally useless app for them. Just spent 30 minutes standing on a major intersection corner in 97 degree heat calling a moron driver with zero ability to speak even basic English or read a map. Finally cancelled and rebooked and the new fare was $5 more. When that driver showed up, no data at all a out where I was going. Going back to professional drivers in taxis, Uber lets any idiot in a car work for them and clearly their app is garbage.

My particular issue is so involved I don't want to bore anyone. Let's just say it has to do with payout I believe are grossly incorrect. Terrible operation. No way to talk to a real person and and online help only answers the questions UBER WANTS TO ANSWER NOT YOUR QUESTIONS. Make a mistake and there is no way to cancel or change your trip. Tried to set up a trip for 3 days from now and UBER sent the driver IMMEDIATELY. Driver was here in 3 minutes. Just 3 days early. And it cost me $5........ I will never deal with a company that refuses to talk to customers and provides no way to resolve issues that are not on the small UBER list of issues. First of all, for the last couple of days I tried to request a Uber and I keep getting an error message saying, "your payment is unavailable at this time." Be careful guys, UBER drivers are trying to take your money. They are picking up pickup requests and never showing up to your location. Then they would cancel the pickup request and charge you a cancellation fee. This happened to me yesterday January 7th 2016. Terrible Customer/Driver care, UBER has NO accountability or follow trough. Only concern is turning profits for investors and CEO salary! The IPO valued this company over $100 billion USD, less than 5% of this goes to pay drivers. Zero benefit payments, no salary or social security contributions.
I made the mistake of accepting to drive part time, after being referred by a friend. I completed 400 trips, delivered exceptional service and was promised $3,000 bonus . Now I m getting the run around and all I did was deliver on my commitments as a good driver. I will be filing a formal complaint with the department of Labor in Sacramento and the Better Business Bureau. Companies like Uber deserve to have the business license revoked.

Unfortunately, our experience with Uber Eats has been very poor. After using the service for months on end and seeing a very positive increase in sales, we were very happy with the way Uber was helping us being new customers to our business. However, after a series of emails and phone calls back and forth with an account manager regarding a request to increase the delivery boundaries back to their old size, our account was closed. For a long time Uber was able to deliver our orders to customers online to five miles away. All of the sudden however, the distance practically got cut in half and many customers contacted us and asked why they could no longer order on Uber Eats. We called Uber in an attempt to gain some answers as it was a surprise to us but unfortunately we did not receive an answer that made sense. Subsequently, after contacting them again, our account was permanently closed because they felt as though e violated them by contacting them and requesting an answer which we believed we deserved. We understand that companies often have to change their practices and we know that Uber likely had a good reason for making the delivery boundaries smaller. However we did not appreciate being left in the dark on this matter and we only wanted an answer as this change hurt our sales greatly.

We are very sad that our business partnership with Uber has come to an end. We know why the team decided to shut down our account, however we do not believe it was fair as it was unjustified and the customer support was very poor. If we had received a thorough explanation from the beginning, we likely could have avoided the entire situation.

As an immigrant living in Canada and the owner of a small business, I am disappointed with the lack of empathy I received from Uber. The language barrier can be very difficult sometimes and in this case, I believe that it had a large part in the removal of our business from Uber Eats. I was only trying to do what was best for my business. When Uber makes a decision that alters my sales, I feel that it is my responsibility to find out why the situation has changed. I was merely trying to do my job.

We know that we are partially at fault for the closure of our account. We acknowledge that. We know that we reached out too many times to the Uber support team and that they felt that we had crossed the line. However, when we don t receive answers, we believe it is our obligation to make sure all decisions are justified. We also do not believe that we were treated daily by the account manager that handled our situation. She was very rude and unprofessional and it is sad to think that if we had a more understanding account manager, our business would still be open on Uber Eats.

We always hope to cooperate with you to stay in ubereats and maintain friendly relations with Ubereast , but unfortunately we have been retaliated by Rachel Obront account manager, who has always occupied the power of misconduct, venting Rachel personal feelings at work, very unprofessional and immoral. We are very disappointed with this, why Ubereast hired this account manager, Because Rachel Obront power is in the company's position, I will go to the public opinion upside down, deliberately destroy the reputation of the restaurant, say some of our very serious problems, and let others think that we are not good, Rachel plays like a child. not letting a company survive, but also let local guests not get more concessions. To be honest, we are very perfect in cooperation with other skippedishes fooddora doordash, so we are bullied by rachel Obront personally, we still love Ubereast company. I hope to get help from senior leaders Boss CEO and resume cooperation as soon as possible.

What a nightmare. Uber in general Horrible customer service. I used to love using Uber eats until they suspended my account as a result of multiple accounts and outstanding balances on Uber Ride which I have never used. I signed up with Uber for Uber EATS and this how they repay me after the hundreds of dollars I spent ordering through them. I am extremely disappointed. They don't have representatives who answer phones. They prefer to e-mail to save time. How stupid is that. If you enjoy peace of mind, DO NOT USE UBER

In many ways, I have to commend Uber for allowing me as a driver to earn extra income and do it whenever I feel like very seamlessly. The company is not without some pretty significant downsides, however. As a driver, fares are often pretty meager, as low as $3.66 USD per trip for me. This is because Uber takes a ridiculously large portion of the fare for themselves. Now, 25% or less in exchange for maintaining the app and whatnot would be fine, but it's often closer to 50%, which is unconscionable. That's far from the only fare problem, but the bigger problem is that it really feels like driving for Uber amounts to taking out a payday loan to cover eventual repairs on your vehicle. Combined with not making anything to reach a pickup destination and not being able to see where you'll be going until you start the trip at the pickup location, these downsides make driving for Uber a much tougher proposition than it might seem. All of the scandals and ethics issues the company's been embroiled in definitely do not help either. As a passenger, I don't have much to say, as I've only used the service twice as a rider. As a rider, it's quick and convenient, and relatively affordable, although lack of a customer service phone number really hurts. Uber's original goal of easing congestion has done just the opposite now, however. They've basically abandoned that far less profitable goal and essentially just built their own private taxi company. Uber has a long way to go before becoming a "good" company. Right now they're just a necessary evil.

I have been using Uber on a regular basis with no problem until yesterday. I wasn't feeling well and left work an hour early. I called for an Uber that never showed up. I waited 10 minutes and then was told the driver cancelled. Two minutes later the car that was supposed to pick me up drove right past me. I called for another car and exactly the same thing happened. The third time this happened I called the driver. I asked him where he was and he said he was sent to an address a mile away. Even though I made sure my pickup address was correct Uber sent all three drivers to the wrong address. At this point I am furious and frustrated. I asked the driver to please pick me up and he refused saying I was "too upset". After waiting 45 minutes I finally took the bus home. Later on I realized that my account has been charged for all three trips I didn't take. I have been given a 15.00 credit that I won't use but they took 25.00 out of my account. I have been emailing over and over and the only response I received was to say I was given a credit. The response also apologized for the drivers, but the drivers didn't do anything. This was a mistake on Uber's part and they are taking no responsibility. Stay away from Uber, they are rip offs.
I am updating this review on 5/29/18 to let everyone know that Uber asked me for my banking information to research what happened and I still have not received a refund. I called my bank yesterday and the woman I spoke to said this happened to her too. I can stop the payments through my bank but will wait until tomorrow to see if Uber is going to do the right thing. The bank lady's response was "That's not going to happen but it's nice of you to try". I wish i had researched Uber's customer service policies before I took my first ride.

Good luck getting help or contacting a human being for support. How can a company focused on a customer mobile app and service just go off the grid. Appalling. You can't simultaneously claim your product is going to help people and then hide from them. Even Google is easier to get a hold of, and I don't pay them directly for anything.

They outsource to foreigners who dont understand what you are telling them, and repeat the same useless help. It is maddening!

The one star review of Uber has not been earned. I was unable to give a no star review, couldn't post it othrwise. I have tried for the past three weeks to get a ride, that it's not funny. Each time the app would allow me to choose method of payment, route to take and vehicle wanted. Unfortunately that is where it stopped. The following screen would inform me that I could pay for my ride using Android pay. If I were using Android pay that would be a good idea. But I wasn't... So the app would send me back to the what vehicle do you want screen. And the maddening cycle would continue. I have still been unsuccessful in receiving my ride. I am not alone several people in this area have had issues as well. One couple couldn't even get it to except their credit card as method of payment. They finally gave up and called a Lyft.
If these issues aren't fixed you will lose even more customers and money.

Any company that won't answer the phone is not a company devoted to true customer service. Uber has more than enough money to have people answering the phones. Their failure to do so does not speak well of its founders.

I was wrongfully charged for a cleaning expense. In a matter of an hour and a half spanning from whence I was dropped off to when I received the updated email receipt, the company "Uber" made the decision that I somehow owed one of "their" drivers $150. It has not been confirmed that there was an invoice that shows a professional cleaning service detailing that vehicle. The only details disclosed to me where some half shot pictures of what seems to be "vomit" but could have been easily staged. Through no fault of my own or without any consideration to the consumer, "myself", the company "Uber" reserved the right to take advantage of my card on file to compensate what seems to be a scam. Anyone reading this beware, through my in depth research the company "Uber" is solely protected and has reserved their right to take advantage of the riders that instills their hard earned money and trust in them. I will no longer be using this so called company for my transportation needs and I hope this helps anyone to make their decision in this matter.
