This year has been the worst for Uber as drivers with high ride amount with low ratings have horrible attitudes and driving skills and still they are still a driver for Uber. What s the point of the rating system if I see a driving with a low rating when using pool you have to wait DOUBLE the amount of time just to get a driver that is at least 3.99 or higher . 5 min wait + 1.5 min to see reviews and no option to accept this driver or not so we won t have to fall into a bad driver situation which leads to not getting picked up, having a bad driver, or at least a car that feels safe enough.

Ubereats says there is free delivery from this restaurant right now. When I checked their menu on the restaurant s website out of curiosity, I found ubereats has a $5 markup on the item s price. Why lie?? Just charge what is fair. No need to put up fake promotions only to get caught.

I worked hard to rectuit a driver for this company and when it came time to pay me for my efforts they told me thar they wernt going to pay me because the driver I recruited didnt fill something out correctly when she sighned up. Now I know why ths company drug thrir feet getting any phones installed at corp offices. Try calling corporate In San fransisco they just dont want to talk to anyone. The boss beats up on them sp they tske it out om the little guy. This company doesnt care about anytjing except for partying and scewing the female employees

The worst Idea not to have a direct line for customer communication. Your email reply back service is terrible... the worst I have ever experienced... Did you forget that 100% of your revenue comes from customers.... I recently left my phone in a Uber car. Logged in to my account, reported the problem. the account was locked and no one has reached out to me. I can not get in touch with anyone from Uber to save my life... I am going back to Yellow cabs, will never ride in an Uber car again... Because of their poor customer service and no direct line... Wish i could give less than one star... Thanks for nothing Uber

So back on on my birthday (June 26) , we decided to order from red lobster order number 10D9B. Unfortunately I had to work on my birthday, so we decided to eat In.. we were so excited for our food! Then we kept wondering why the driver hadn't left the parking lot in over an hour. So we called customer support and they tried to lie and say he had just arrived until she finally admitted how long he had been there... he didn't even answer the calls from the support system. I hope he enjoyed my $80 birthday dinner.. at least doordash deliver faster than expected and I remember getting a refunded or free dessert from grubhub back in the day.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I am a driver and they have not paid me for rides from a month ago. They keep telling me that I need to verify my account but the account was verified and they had been depositing my money into my account. For some reason they won't/can't seem to get the transactions from a month ago correct. When you call the driver number, you can't get an English speaking person who is located in the US. They talk in circles and refuse to give you a straight answer. They do not pay for surges when a rider is picked up in a surge area. I will never recommend anyone to be a driver for this company.

They never take customers feedback. That's going to be a big problem that eventually crashes them.

I was really mad several times about where Uber drops me off and I had no place to give them the feedback at all. e.g. I had the destination set as Facebook HQ, and map tells driver to drop me off at a warehouse, 15min walk from Facebook including going across a 6way road..

Uber eat is also trash. Set aside the expensive service fee, I had my order and the carrier never came to my door. I missed the carrier phone call so I called back several times, but they never picked up. After several minutes, the order was cancelled without refund, even I called and explained to their manager. I'm wondering why should I take full responsibility? Why Uber never takes the responsibility of not showing the estimation accurately? Why the phone call one-way only? So no tolerance of customer busy at the moment?? Why the carrier not came to my door with my address accurate? Possible the driver just want the food?? So money is Uber's and faults are always customer's??

They basically stole the uber cash I purchased with CASH at a store the balance shows up on my account but I can t use it at all , Uber support/help has been NO help at all I missed my shift at work and this is actually the second time this has happened !!! And they don t even have a number to call and speak to a human . I followed the directions to the T sent probably half a dozen emails submitted and used the help tab on the Uber Eats app and the regular Uber App I feel like I just got robbed by Uber .

I lost my bag/wallet in an Uber, and the driver had no contact information -- nor did he reply to the alert that I left my bag in his vehicle, until a day or two had passed. He said he would drop it off at the hotel I was staying at, and we agreed to pay him the fee for doing so. Well, I still don't have my bag and he refused to give me my bag even after we followed the $15 fee policy. I need to go back home, sonce I don't live in Orlando, Florida, and I need my ID that is in my wallet to get through the airport. Well now I'm going to have to figure things out since he still hasnt done anything, and the voicemail box for Orlandos Uber Office is full. So I don't have my wallet, or bag, a week later after he said he could help. I will not be using an uber again if they are this untrustworthy and unreliable.

Beware of this company. After being charged over $1K for 27 rides I never too (I've never even used this company or downloaded their app), I've been fighting to get my money back. This has been a growing thing for years with customers and noncustomers being charged fraudulently and realizing they have no live customer service people to talk to. You wind up getting an e-mail asking you to put in your card number and list of fraud charges and they e-mail back that they'll get back to you, but they never do. If you do a little research, you can see this has been happening for several years now, but Uber acts like it's something new to them when you call them on this. Keep an eye on your bank account and debit cards whether you are a customer or not.

Uber charged me twice but I have not taken a ride yet. Once you register, you cannot get out. The app does not give you the option to delete your account and you are at the mercy of Uber. And there is no phone # listed anywhere for Uber so you can talk to nobody.

Zero star would be a bit generous, it s unbelievable how bad the customer service for their own driver is. You see this new CEO on commercials saying we are listening and we are getting better every day. REALLY, he you should try calling into his own company. What is he taking they expect us to represent them with professionalism and respect but yet, I have been trying to get my account updated to Uber select and all I get is a run around. I will not drive for the cheap Uber-x rates with a luxury car. And when I call in all I get are lies and a run around with some call center in either the Philippines or Singapore. How would Uber enjoy if the driver just dropped off fares where ever we wanted regardless of destination and gave the rider the customer support number. I miss the days when companies actually answered the phone in the United States and actually addressed valid issues with out providing scripted answers. WOW WHAT A NOVEL IDEA ...... Mr CEO if you would like to make Uber a success and a top 100 company to work for why not deal with the internal customer service mess you currently have. You can rest assured that these continued one star rating will not be favorably look at when you finally go for the IPO you re currently trying to launch allegedly next year. If less than satisfactory is an option than this company excels at it. Imagine you place your order for a hamburger and have to wait for over an hour only to realize your order is never coming. Then get transferred to a supervisor that has less of the ability to do anything about it than you do. Even if the fault is entirely theirs, here is the list of options they can not give you. Just so your warned. They can t call to get your order remade, they can t give you a credit for the order ooooh no. You get to wait 3-5 business days horray. Because yup I am ordering this 3 to five business days from now. Totally awesome. I got up to the branch manager apparently we are doing the ol hand our headset over to the next agent to get you off the line. Because at the end of the call that is all the solution they can offer is to get you off the line and excuses.

My name is JOSHUA Gobena, I am driving UBER for more than three years, I gave more than 12000 rides and I have over 6400 five stars. Meanwhile On Friday June 8, 2018 I gave a round trip ride from San Francisco to San Jose Airport and from San Jose Airport to San Francisco.

The company took the fare all in all and they only gave me the tip. I tried to reach them through email and phone, they talk to me different people, they ask me the same question & they didn't solve my issue. The company robbed me. So please I need legal help.

1. They refuse to pay me for the ride I gave which is approximately $200 and
2. They refuse to pay me the $24 for the consecutive trips

I was charged for a meal on uber eats for a restaurant that was closed and emailed uber eats but they took weeks to respond and told me they could not refund me due to it being past 7 days. When in fact I did contact them within the time frame and they neglected to help me or give me a refund. Very very disappointed as I am a gold customer which I thought meant something and says better service buts its all lies. Anyone reading this be warned do not us uber go to lift and door dash instead much better customer service.

My hubby is an ACTIVE Uber SELECT (luxury car) driver. He has such a hard time getting legitimate answers to questions - it's frustrating! In Uber's infinite wisdom - at least in LV, NV - they promote the cheapest of cheap rides, and put the higher end Select & XL (SUV) options on the second page!?! BAD BAD MARKETING!! ANYONE in business knows, you promo your higher end up front, and people who want or need the cheaper option....will look for it!!! Since we can't get a real person, in the position that can hear this concern & address it, then I will review it HERE! MAYBE, just MAYBE, they will sit up and pay attention NOW!! We have been in sales and marketing for a long time! We have both been in the transportation industry in Las Vegas for approx 20 years! These 'powers that be' that are elusive - even an email address, let alone a phone number or even a business office address locally -- should actually listen & if nothing else....TRY OUT THE CONCEPT!!!! Everyone stands to make more money....the drivers, most importantly, and the Uber company itself! In Vegas, the "Norm" is... business people, as well as everyday people, want a luxury car at a reasonable price, especially in Vegas! Uber select is a fair option over an ill maintained limo company type car....However, even alot of execs who take Uber, don't know it's available in Vegas, because (A) it is not marketed properly -- only the cheapy uber X -- and (B) the option to choose SELECT & XL is on a secondary screen page!! PUT THE HIGHEST END CARS on the FIRST PAGE & the people who want the cheaper rides, trust me....they are going to look for it!!! Uber is getting a bad name or considered mediocre because the drivers can't make any money doing Uber X....which is the majority of chosen moves....because they can't find the luxury end option! So now that attitude trickles down and there you go....you've just gotten that I don't care attitude out of a driver and an unsatisfied client! Get with Uber!!! MARKET your SELECT CARS PROPERLY! ALSO, give the professional drivers the opportunity to make a living too! The final point -- give a LOCAL CONTACT phone call or email address to contact to the operation mgr locally.....seems he's always out hiking somewhere, instead of promo-ing to help the drivers & Uber's image!. A final note....when one does email the "help" customer support option - very generalized answers -- the 'canned pitch' is the response. If you're not permitting questions to be thoroughly answered, or the young people who don't know the answers can't elevate it for an appropriate answer....then there needs to be a contact to GET those answers!
I believe UBER CAN be a great company in Vegas -- but maybe someone should sit up and listen to some of your professional drivers who offer valuable experience and suggestions! Just sayin'.....

He was selling drugs out of his car and stopping frequently doing ilegal transactions with strangers! I felt my life was in danger. I am very sad to give this 2 stars, as Uber Eats has been my go-to for food delivery for years.
Even if food was cheaper on the other apps, I would wait at an hour to see what they had to offer for deals and free delivery and what-not.
It is with great sadness that I warn you in the southern Denver area at this moment, I would highly recommend looking at the other apps.
September 2020- In the last 4 orders over the course of 2 weeks, 3 of them were either a) someone else's order b) not delivered at all and cancelled last minute or c) The restaurant called me directly saying they were out of 3 out of 5 items and didn't know how to help me- had to "sub" other things- which I didn't want.
I gave it one last shot tonight, even felt surprised when it was actually on its way- I was stoked it actually came through- when I opened it, it was someone else's order.
Although I did get my money back, I was starving and opened the order to find mushroom-infested food which is the only food in the world I won't touch- another night going to bed SOO hungry. Uninstalled the app tonight with great sadness

I work for Uber at their main HQ. One of the best companies I've worked for. Uber is great to their employees, has a great work environment, and I look forward to coming to work each and every day.

I also take Uber from work to the Caltrain station every evening to go home. I always have great drivers and all have a great attitude. Since the drivers do not know I work for Uber, I always ask them how they like working for the company and whatnot. All of them absolutely love it. I always hear great feedback.

i have tried contacting support for the last week.. my account was charged 52.99 twice for a ride that was 37.23... so a total of 105.00 out of my account for one ride. i think its ridiculous that no one is helping me out with this issue nor gettin back to me in a timely manner. everyone that has replied on this issue just keeps giving me prompts on issues that have nothing to do with this and it is very irritating i just want the money back that was taken out of my account.... uber owes me a total of 68.75

I am a driver for Uber with a Class A CDL driver's license that I've had for almost 20 years. My full time job is for a transit company. For the same amount of years I've had a clean driving record and backround. Uber has frozen my account with them because a passenger falsely accused me of driving impaired or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Which I have never done or ever will. And if they thought that please drug test me so we can prove the accuser wrong. Instead they have believed or said the are investigating the complaint. Ok cool. But could I have the money "cashed out and put on my Uber debit card? Can I talk to a live Uber supervisor? Of course not! One lie can keep a bill from getting paid. Thanks Uber.

The price increased substantially for my pool and Uber promised a $5 credit if I was late being dropped off (I was dropped off 15 minutes outside their range from the original ride). Uber has robotic help service that ignored all my messages. I can t believe the way they treat customers!

Tonight at midnight we helped a young couple that was dropped off at the wrong location in Vermont. Apparently the driver was pretty put off having to come all the way to Underhill VT from Burlington and the couple paid $80 to be dropped off at the wrong address. We gave them a ride to their B&B.

Im a passenger of uber in Ukraine. I had car accident with uber car 28 of june in Kiev, on the main street. Uber driver was driving fast around 80-90 km, and didnt even try to stop before street light on the cross, another car were turning on the red light, and he saw that, and they crashed . Uber driver without license, he is working illegally, this is common in our contry, and as u see for UBER.
When I wrote the claim to the local company, they just wrote sorry and stop unswering.
Iv god injured: face, head and body hematomas, bruises, head concussion.
Im waiting any reaction from the main office of UBER in San Francisco, it shouldnt be like that...

If I could give a negative star, I would! I ordered an uber and was advised of pick up in 5 minutes. The clock continued to increase, so I called the driver. After 10 minutes, he said he would be there in 15 minutes. Twenty five minute later, he still had not picked me up. I canceled the order and resubmitted a new order. That driver was there in less than 2 minutes. Problem? Uber charged me $13.48 for the request I canceled. Apparently the driver stated he picked me up and was en route to my destination. Although I canceled the first trip, I was charged for both. The worst part is the route I canceled charged me for a pick and destination address different from the one I ordered. On the Uber app it showed the first request was canceled. After reviewing my credit card statement I realized they charged me for both routes. I tried to dispute the canceled trip:however since the app did not allow this. It took all day to get this resolved with Uber (once I submitted a complaint on the app, they advies I would receive a call or email within 30 minutes). It was nearly 8 hours later that I FINALLY received an email. All they had to say was sorry and I would receive a credit within 48 hours... we will see.

This is very frustrating i was requested for pickup a customer from Oakland Airport and i went to pick and it was my first time and the police officer stop and issued me a citation and now i am trying to get help from UBER but they are not helping me they are telling me it's your responsibility to pay for the Ticket and it's $450 they knew that i am not UberX and i don't have permit but i didn't know that it was my first time picking someone from the Airport and none of the Uber customer service is helpful at all.

UBER denied me to drive with NO REASON. My background check and driving record is clean. When I emailed (only way to contact them) they would not give me a reason and blamed the background checker. The background checker said I was clear. UBER needs to give me a reason why I cannot drive when I have followed through on everything I needed to do.
People are driving for Uber because of convenience and not because they like to. Uber is the worst platform who has no sympathy for the people who actually made them billionaires. Shove it!

Horrible company. I'm a driver and I'm constantly being cheated and having to argue with the company over things. They take action against drivers without conducting proper inquiries or investigations. They penalize drivers without looking into the facts. Their support system is not very supportive at all and in most cases either non-responsive or when they do respond their response is totally off-the-wall like a bunch of retards and has nothing to do with whatever I contacted them for in the first place. Uber has a lot of business growing up to do they're very immature company

You download the app to make extra money right? You start driving and after couple of weeks you will know the game.

Honestly, you are not actually earning yes you earn cash but eventually you will spend the cash because you are driving cost

plus if you are in a car accident Uber does not care if you lose you car, they take their money and all they say sorry I m not saying that they should fix or help you fix your car but seriously your probability of being in a car accident is high since you drive too much for just a very little amount of money. You may make 1 thousands a month but lose it in just in couple seconds with a car accident.

Plus your probability of getting traffic tickets is high as well. You earn 100 and pay it within seconds.

Also, their promotions are working better for them not for you, it looks great and you make money but your hard work does not pay enough, instead they earn more.

You do way too many great things but one negative customer gets all the attention you will probably get punished for it. They care more about the rider not the driver.

The app crashed on me, I was working for a promotion that requires to be online to get the offer for couple trips in a row. The app crashed in the middle of the trips and I had to start all over again. Contacted the support but no help even though they can check it in the system reports.

That s my experience driving with Uber, it s nice but you need to do the math and understand how Uber works to know how to actually earn money driving for Uber.

Give it a try don t just make your assumptions based on my experience.

Located on Market street, the commercial hub of SF. The office is clean and nice. Nicely placed in the market area. Only issue is when one enters the location to be Uber HQ, maps shows the location to the backdoor instead of the entrance.

My 1 experience using the service was great. That is until my card information was hacked. Uber is impossible to contact via phone, and has been asking for my bank account information via email. They've also blamed me for the 5 fraudulent charges that were posted to my bank account within a 2 day period. I would never recommend using this company to anyone after the pitiful customer service I've received.

We got into an UBER at SFO with a Bangladeshi driver. His UBER X was not only FILTHY but he had the worst BODY ODOR!!! Since we were in a hurry we accepted his ride.
Believe it or not, while his interior of the car was filthy he had the NERVE to tack on $50 to our charge for a CLEANING FEE!!! to clean HIS dirt and BODY ODOR!!
OUTRAGEOUS!!! as there is no customer service number and no way to reach a human being to protest--YOU ARE STUCK WITH THE CHARGE.....so it seems the 'fraudulent' drivers can do whatever they want

This company is doing scams on people and making money this way. They should not be allowed to charge the riders for a cleaning fee without the riders being present to confirm the problem.

No way to contact Uber, unless you are a driver or a rider. HQ phone only responds with an email address. Uber does not respond, except to drivers and riders.

Uber communication is non-existent except for Uber riders and drivers. Situations do arise which can only be resolved with contact from Uber, but Uber does not communicate except with drivers and riders.

100% bad experience starting on day one as a driver. After expenses you barely earn minimum wage! Also, I was emailed an incentive to guarantee $5,000 in my first month, but Uber refuses to actually pay it. They lied to me and they'll lie to you. Criminals.
