How they get you - By bringing out some of there puppets and publishing them on social media sites and lure you into the trap of joining the company.
What they DON T tell you - how many have failed and are failing everyday to keep up. Of course, why would they. Would not recommend anyone.
All Uber cares about is how to make money doesn t matter how they do it. You ll be lucky to get your fuel cost most of the days. All you do is add kilometres on your odometer which only leads to quicker car service which you have to pay out of your own pocket. Don t forget about the tolls either... As a driver you pay them, you do get some of it back.. but you pay it first. You only get paid on Kilometres, bad bad luck if you re stuck in traffic. Recently did 7.3kms job in 33 mins and got paid $17.79.
If you re in a taxi, that would have been atleast $30.
Ratings - Mostly people don t even care about ratings.... out of 100 may be 50 will... Very few will rate you good, mostly they just Judge you and take there own frustrations out on you by rating you negatively. When enquired about ratings, you get SLAPPED in your face with the policies.
Support - That team is a big joke. That s just someone like you and me sitting on the other side of the computer & they have been Instructed and Trained to go around the situation in at any cost. Pretty much like our Judicial system. Forget about helping you, they even make you more depressed by blaming the whole situation back on you. I have even receive responses such as, THAT S ALL I CAN DO. HOPEFULLY YOU UNDERSTAND MY SITUATION
Just goes to show even they are fed up of receiving complaints all day and not being able to resolve them in a Justifiable manner.

- when it actually comes down to helping a Driver Partner (YOU)......... It either goes round and round in a never ending circle or they shut it straight away by SLAPPING the privacy policies on YOUR (DRIVER) face.
When asked about any outcome of My recent experience of DISCRIMINATION, it ended- WE HAVE STRICT PRIVACY POLICY AND WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS
And because I complained about my problems, I don t get any offers to make extra cash. Friend of mine, sitting right next to me (Uber Driver as well) received a text saying, If you do 20 trips between 4pm-4am, Uber will deposit extra $100 in your account
I did not even get a single offer, email or text for that matter.
I CAN PROVE ALL MY ALLEGATIONS.

But just because I m just a common man like yourself, nobody is even going to CARE what we have to say.

Navigation- One of the worst I have ever come across. so delayed... and the number of times it has taken me to no through roads is unbelievable. I have dashcams to prove everything. stick to google maps.

OVERALL - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS JOB TO EVEN MY WORSE ENEMIES.

Riders, will say and do anything to get a free trip, they don t care about the drivers at all as long as they receive a free trip and the said part is that Uber will take the word of a rider before they would the driver.

Uber, owes thousands of dollars in toll roads that they have never paid me for.

I am filing a lawsuit against them today, they also stole tip money from me, for example how can anyone tip .10 cents when I drove from them at the time they didn t have a 20% tip ratio they only had $1 to $20 tips.

They re the most crooked company I have ever worked for.

I had over 10,000 rides over 5,000 Emoji s and over 7,500 great comments from riders I also had a 4.98 rating driving for them for over two years.

I m not bitter all I want is what they owe me and nothing more, so sense that I have given them every chance to pay me back and they won t I have to sued them in court $5,000 is a lot of money to me, it might not be to them but it is to me, I worked for it and I should get paid for my hard work to try and help build up the Uber name.

After 5,000 trips as driver, Uber has fired me for refusing to take passengers to their drug dealer of choice. Their decision is final and without getting full details from my side. So much for new Uber Corp mantra of making Uber better for drivers. When badly behaved adults can make false statements and leads to such events its sad day from a justice and fairness perspective.

When you fire people BEFORE getting all the facts shows how badly behaved drunk or high customers are far more important to Uber than drivers. Drug users and drunks are a source of revenue, regardless if their actions are breaking the law or not. The drivers are just a disposable asset that can be dumped at anytime without good cause, let alone facts from the driver, and being fair is out of the question. Awesome double standard!

Good job protecting the safety of your drivers and promoting drug trafficking via Uber services. Clearly Uber Corp profits and $3 cancallation fee are more important than protecting drivers from dangerous drug trafficking areas.

This company lets their drivers make fraudulent claims for cleaning fees. Also, the employees who handle these claims do not even know the company policies. Uber is charging $80 for light vacuuming and drying of this drivers seat cover although their policy plainly states that this type of mess may at most be charged up to $50. Never using this service again. Beware of this fraud people!

I've been driving for Uber probably about almost a year now in my town where I live and it's always seem to work out alright other than the fact that sometimes at night I'd go pick up somebody and no one was ever there but a few weeks ago I had a miscellaneous vehicle charge for $33 so basically my payout for that week was minus $11 I only drove a couple people to the airport that week after I got off of work and I have sent multiple emails try to do everything I can to call someone and I haven't got any response but it's silly because normally they respond back within a few hours on the app but now that I'm like what the hell is this charge for they don't respond at all so there's other ways to make side money I'm done with Uber they are a bunch of crooks

Yesterday morning I was unable to get Uber Pool ride because I was told over and over again that my phone and my email are being used by another account. It's my account and nobody is using it. I'm the only one who is using this number and email and it is my account and from this phone I am using right now. I have been using my account as a driver and a rider for last 2.5 years here in the US and abroad so it can't be used by anybody else but me. Anyhow, even after I called Uber's Help Center the kid was humming and yumming she couldn't put a complete thought together and did not know who to turn to for help after numerous waiting periods. So I wasn't able to get my account restored for some reason and due to no fault of mine. Anyway I figured will take a taxi. I was on my way to get a Hertz rental so I can drive for Uber. I took a taxi. I paid that taxi $19.35. (Wait until you hear about Hertz. Check my review under their location on Bryant Street.)

When my credit card was changes by routine, its hard to go through and update all accounts.
I never got a notification that the old card had to replaced after not beeing actual any more.
They locked my card/account. I dealed with their support and they said everything should be allright again, but nothing worked.

Then i needed a ride, nothing was fixed so i had problems to get away on time.
The support of uber did nothing.

Just cannot recommend any of their support.

This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I've spoken to a different rep each email I send, and I'm lucky enough to get a response back. I shocked with the lack of service you guys exhibit in times of need, guess taking my money for a fare is enough for you to sleep at night.

My driver has told you guys that he has my phone, you confirmed this with me. I still haven't gotten it despite my multiple efforts to retrieve it. I've missed a flight, I've missed work, I've put more effort into this than I should. You guys are a billion dollar company with the integrity and customer service of a lemonade stand.

I was only a customer in 2015. And this was my first time working for uber. Working for Uber is cheap and they take away 30% of are money. I, am very angry with the customer support, he stated that I been talking to you for over an hour. It wasn't even 20 minutes, this International Alien was a POS.

It was weird. I, had accepted a ride thinking it was just another customer needing a ride. The guy on the phone said this is uber, are you heading to get Joseph. I said yes, he said go ahead and cancel the ride. It was weird how they hacked into the Uber app and knew where I was and who I was picking up.

I am heading to my law office we have here in my city and going to find out, a way to sue over this identify theft and money being withdrawn from my Uber driver account. I, also am "in fear of my life" due to the fact that my home address is on my Uber account profile and vehicle information.

Uber has deactivated for cancellations fraud for no reason. I have no Cancellations on my account neither cancellations fee. Customer service are just like robots and go by a script. I spoke with a supervisor over the phone which she was the worse. They can t escalate this issue since the APP showed these cancellation! 5 star driver

They accepted my Amex from someone for $609 apparently without checking ID. I had to cancel my card and file a fraud report. Really? That's unacceptable and just plain stupid!! Looking forward to finding out the results of the police investigation. Amex is awesome and canceled the charge when reported. I cut up my card and waited a week for a new one. If you make a purchase with a credit card and they don't check your ID, report the negligent employee(s) involved. And DON'T get upset if the do check...thank them.

I am using uber in egypt cairo the problem is that support for customer issue with drivers is not dealt with by the professional way and they leave customer deals with uber drivers into which some of them are not professional in dealing with customers and even thieves and no one care when you email your complaints. Terrible outsourced customer service! My first trip fee was manipulated to counter a $5 dollar discount. Was charged a toll fee and the original fare was increased to equal a grand total of $5. Its ridiculous that a company of this stature would resort to such petty tactics.

I'm a driver. The CEO is a Iranian American that does not give a c*** about the work horses. Customer service is horrible. They lack basic skills of understanding. Mostly from Argentina. They constantly just send your problems to "specialized teams" that just seem automated. Reason is that there are so many problems and complaints from both workers and customers. They will send you to a restaurant that's been closed for 1.5 hrs before you even get the order. Then cancel the order when you get there then wrote you up for it like it was your fault. Someone needs to make a Facebook for all the drives to start a Union. That will wake them up if we all go on strike for a bit. This is only second income for most of us anyhow.

Ridiculous. When I applied for the Topshop mini campaign, I got charged for tolls (even though I never asked to take a toll route). Also, when the wait time starts off at 6 mins for a cab and increases to a 15 min wait 10 mins after requesting the cab, I get charged $10 for cancelling. I then look at the app and their were 6 other cabs around the block from me!!
