I'm not receiving help. I have been deactivated and I haven't been told why. I drove my vehicle on a vehicle approved account. But it said I was delivering on bicycle. Is there a higher authority I can take this up with, that won't send me a vague automated message? I've worked for 3 years and have taken over 1700 deliveries for this company. Would love to get back to work. But I have no responses from the help section.

I have been an Uber Driver for a Year rated at 4.98, filled out the background check about 100 times through their app starting about a month before it was due, even went to the Green hub to ensure they received it back both times the people said yes all good to go for 2020. This past Saturday they turned me off saying my background check wasn t done, I ve gone to the hub in Daly City and called the 800 both pretty much have their hands tied can t do anything until the help ticket gets answered at the corporate office, you would think that a guy that treats his passengers with respect every time and has 6231 drives in a year and part of their Diamond program have a little more respect from Uber instead wait is what I m told. I m a retired United States Army Ranger and can t get the respect Uber says they put towards Veterans!!!

Uber is stealing people's money. Apparently there's no way to call them and if you forget how to log in your account they just keep your money. The app also sends driver's to bogus locatios and deducts money from your account for cancellation fees. This has also cost me my job.

I was charged a completely fraudulent $150 cleaning fee. I arrived home at the airport after being away for an oncology conference. I requested an Uber and had a completely uneventful ride home with Kawshar UberX Chrysler Town and Country KKZ6941 . However, I was then assessed a cleaning fee for $150. Uber stated that "An incident during this trip resulted in a mess. Your driver s vehicle required cleaning." with no additional explanation. I have no idea why I would be assessed this fee. I feel I have no reasonable way to prove that I left the car clean though and am unsure how I am supposed to dispute this. Absolutely no incident occurred during my ride that would result in the need for any cleaning. There is no customer service phone number and I have submitted complaints through the app with no email confirmation that they are received or any response.

Uber is the worst company with whom I have ever done business. With absolutely no customer service they will fraudulently give away your account information and allow your money to be used across the United States as "Uber Cash". After contacting them in a frantic attempt to retrieve hundreds of dollars, I was banned from Uber via automated reply and my funds never returned. How an international business (if you can even call it that) can disregard a 5-star customer and neglect to return what was stolen from right under their noses, is beside me. I will never again in my life use or recommend to any other human being this company, and I am even ashamed that I could be so trusting in a place with no customer service. I should have known better.

My wallet fell-out in an Uber taxi. Inside my wallet was 700 dollars, debit card, insurance card, a gold neck-less and most importantly my green card. The driver's name is Charles but Uber refused to release his last name. I reached out to the Uber headquaters in New Jersey. The gentleman I spoke with was seemed annoyed and came across as he did not want to help me. I also made a police report but the police told me they were unable to help because I did not have a direct number to Charles or his car plate number. I am not only upset that I lost very valuable possessions, I am upset that as client of Uber, the company boldly showed that they are not interested in helping me find my valuables so I have to ask a question? Is Uber really better than a ordinary cab service? They customer service is ineffective and the company is unwilling to help. If Uber had displayed some effort in helping me with this matter I could not be dissatisfied with they service but the company expressed clearly that they do not have any interest in me as a client.

This has nothing to do with drivers -
I signed up for Uber a few months ago and I am happy with it.
However, I am UNHAPPY with Uber management - I keep on getting emails if I want to drive for them or if I want to do deliveries for them.
There is no way to 'unsubscribe' to these emails.
Please, UBER management, do not bombard your customers with job offers - at least create an easy way to opt out of these annoying emails.

Food was delayed ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES after I placed the order. UBER couldn t find a driver!!! What kind of customer service is this? Please figure out your back-end matching systems so that there are drivers ready to pick up as soon as orders are sent! Isn t this what you promise pretty much through your business? The restaurant already had the food ready when I called but they were waiting for a driver. I called ubereats, and while I was talking to them, the arrival time delayed more! I had them cancel my order. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If one driver can t pick it up, then send someone. If you don t have this kind of system, figure it out! We do not live in the middle nowhere that it should take 1.15 hrs to get our food!!

ZERO STARS. There is no customer service at Uber. It is impossible to contact them with an issue other than what they have listed on their website. I have an issue with someone having my phone number in his user profile. He has mis-entered his phone number by one digit can I get telephone calls from Uber Eats two or three times a day. I know this person s address from Uber drivers. I have tried to contact Uber and they are impossible to reach. The Uber eats drivers have also asked this person to correct his phone number and so far, he has not done it. Can you say harassment?

Uber is the WORST company. Some drivers cancel on you and charge you a cancellation fee. No phone number. I never got a response and there is no way to cancel. Uber needs to be taught a lesson in the courts or with Frontier justice.

I bought a $50 gift card through the app and a $50 card at Target. The $100 is posted in my credit but every single time I try to book a ride using the credits, the payment is denied. I have been given the same six "fix" steps over and over again, yet it still won't work. Uber has effectively stolen my money since it claims it won't give a refund. Now I have to sue them. I've filed a report with my state's attorney general and am exploring other governmental offices to help. #UberSteals

I've used "schedule an uber' feature twice. The first time the driver was late (airport ride so added stress). The 2nd time the driver was 15 minutes early (came to my house at 520am for a 535 to 545 am pickup, again added stress). THEN he had the nerve to charge me a fee for waiting. Uber makes it impossible to get in touch to dispute so that's why I'm leaving my comments here. Lyft, here I come.

So they pair up me twice with a driver who never bothered to show up, cancelled on me twice and I got charged twice for that. Prior to that,the first driver drove past my spot and would not bother to respond to any of my calls or messages. Mind you the ride was $2.05, tell me how with all the cancellations I ended up with $6 +$6+ $3.50 over what the initial fees were. Don't even bother messaging customer service you won't get no response. I have the screenshots of everything I am telling you guys about

Edited to add: 3hrs later, my request hasn't been acknowledged nor handled. Am I supposed to just sit back and and eat that $15.50 worth of cancellation fee that I am not responsible for?

Unbelievable!!!!! This company hasn't paid me going on 3 weeks! When I talk to the reps "OVER SEAS" over the phone, they're clueless and they tell me different things. And when I ask for help from there local offices they claim they cant help. And now I just called the main offfice and they dont answer there phones. This is crazy!!!!

There's no phone number to talk to anybody if they're just voicemails the refer you back to the website. I've contacted uber website and they refuse to provide any insurance information! DO NOT USE UBER!!!! You risking your life riding in car with no insurance coverage!!!!!

Uber is a pretty decent company to work for: their prices are popular, their service is good, and most people are amenable to taking Uber over taxis, shuttles or limousines.

However, most services like Uber allow riders to tip the drivers via the app; Uber does not: only for the Taxis that use Uber. It strikes me as contradictory that they have developed an app which allows getting rides to be a "cashless" transaction, yet they will not let the riders tip through the app. Most of my riders say they would tip, but they rarely carry around cash. This strikes me as the ultimate Irony.

I believe this needs to change: I know their competition does this. Note to Uber: get with it, guys!

Awful company!! THEY ARE CROOKS. You get random extra charges on your account, and they expect you not to notice. I emailed them several times cause I was charged an extra fee for a ride that canceled on me. And an additional $6.00 when my driver went through construction when it was advertise at $2.75 upon pickup. We emailed back and forth numerous times. I sent them a screenshot of my bank statement, wrote a thorough explanation, and did everything they asked of me. They thought of every explanation to not refund my money.

Very cheap company, very clear to see very cheap unqualified representatives that have very hard time at speaking English which they re still don t make themselves clear, plus constantly lies, as long they re always right for them to not listen to costumers or drivers complains and unsatisfactoriness.
I was a uber rider just a very short period of time to know how bad costumer service uber have, and Yes I am an uber driver, a very unsatisfied one

I would give no stars if I could. I worked for uber eats for a short time, until the day where I drove 40 miles out of the way to resturaunts that didnt have any orders. When trying to contact uber support i was then lied to by several different people on how they would help me. They refuse to let anyone speak to management or HR which is actually illegal. I have never seen more disgraceful treatment of a human being by a support line. I was lied to and given the run-a-round for hours on end. I will never work for them again and I will try my absolute best to make sure they loose business. No one deserves to be treated like that.

After being overcharged US$25 on a trip to LAX I was offered a 13.99 credit. Many emails to various customer service agents only provided generic answers. Train your people to identify and solve the exact cause of the problem!
So frustrating and unprofessional. No wonder you don't have a Rider contact phone number. It would be constantly manned dealing with complaints.
Lesson to be learnt....always screen shot the initial trip cost......always!

I made reservation for uberEVENTS recently. They charged me 2.5% service fee ($200) based on the "maximum" amount expected. Within four hours I wanted to make a change. Their FAQ states:
"Once your order is completed, there is no way to update the details of your event."
This is the MOST OUTRAGEOUS policy I've ever seen in my entire life.

UBER denied me to drive with NO REASON. My background check and driving record is clean. When I emailed (only way to contact them) they would not give me a reason and blamed the background checker. The background checker said I was clear. UBER needs to give me a reason why I cannot drive when I have followed through on everything I needed to do.

Uber is the WORST! I had concerns that my account had been hacked because I was receiving emails at an old email address for rides and Uber eats orders that I hadn't placed. Instead of deactivating the account in question they combined the old account with my new account. Then after bringing up the concern that my new account could now be in trouble they put my account under review and I was no longer able to book rides. I deleted the app since I couldn't use it and now I only use Lyft. They have no customer service number so all of the conversations had to be through email which I don't think they understood the concern. I had a different customer service person helping every email. I feel like this could have been resolved if I had been able to speak to an actual human.

I've had the worst experience working for this rideshare company. I drove last wk and it has taken well over a wk to get the money they owe me. I've been instructed to wait 48hours every time. I've not touch the cash out button since Tues of this week and today @ 3pm I tried and STILL I can't get my money. I filed complaint after complaint. I've never been so mad ever!!!!!! The fact they have no other resource to give a driver what is owed is UNEXCEPTABLE!!!! I caution others to consider them as they dont have options and no one of authority to fix the problem. I will not ever recommend drivers for this company. Will add this post where ever I can to prevent others from the same experience

Warning do not sign up to work for Uber or Uber Eats if you want fair treatment and do not want to be taken advantage of. They should be put out of business for illegal emploment practices.
For over 6 months I have been working with Uber Eats and throughout this time I have maintained a 5 star rating.

During the Memorial Day holiday weekend a promotion was offered in my area. I completed 4 different deliveries during the promotion time and area but did not receive the Boost pay. So I contacted support and of course was told every single lie they could find for why they didn't pay me. I even had screenshots to prove my case and I demanded to speak with a manager but was never allowed to speak to anyone. Finally 1 support person paid me the Boost pay for 1 of the 4 deliveries.

After a couple of weeks I gave up trying to get paid for the job I completed and this week I logged on to the app to work because I really depend on Uber Eats as a 2nd job as the money I make is used to buy groceries. When I logged on to work I immediately went to "Upcoming Promotions"and found a message saying there are no promotions available check back later. Again I call Uber support and was told there there ARE promotions in my area and they have to escalate the issue to another team. Here we go again with being sent automated messages full of lies. The messages tell me the promotions are only for people who drive on a consistent basis with Uner and I should just take deliveries at the flat rate because I may get more deliveries.

Point blank because I dare to complain about not being paid the amount I was promised my account has now been blocked from being allowed to work for any promotions. It is evident that someone has blocked my account.

As an employee I don"t see how a company can legally block some employees while allowing others to work. I am seriously looking for legal help with this issue.

I love uber. As a driver partner for 5 months with over 1300 rides given I've had a great experience. I've made a ton of money since going full time that I'm enjoying surplus income above my expenses for the first time in my life. The incentives are amazing. I've earned guarantee rates as high as $55/hr!

Drivers who complain about no benefits and the costs simply don't understand the difference between a contractor and an employee. Drivers who do not give rides in busy areas certainly make less than those who do. That's a choice. They offer total freedom and crazy good pay for anyone willing to drive the incentive offers.

Where uber is lacking is in support and orientation... Like why did I have to learn from a passenger the other night that when riders specify 2 people for pool when they are truly solo, just looking to book a seat to keep empty, that I can change it in the app before I start the ride? I also find driver support a bit weak. If your issue isn't listed in the app it's tough to get the answer needed. This is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Don't listen to all of the victims commenting and giving one star. Half of the comments are bogus... A driver with low ratings blaming uber, when the riders rate the drivers. That driver just sucked and people didn't like him... Someone saying there's no way to cancel a ride, etc... YES there is. Stop blaming uber for your inability to operate the app or give good service people! Sheesh. You guys keep crying. I'm gonna keep earning $1500-$2000/week and enjoy how awesome my life is with extra money in it!

No customer support number? Seriously??? What a scam. I m a rider who requested a trip. The driver showed up on the wrong block and then cancelled my trip. Not only was my credit card charged for the full fare, but I was also charged a $5 cancellation fee. I disputed the fee and they gave me a credit of $5 to my Uber account instead of refunding the TOTAL fare to my credit card. What horrible customer service Uber! Never riding with you again unless you do the right thing and fix this. Lyft will be my choice from now on.

Then a week later they only took off the money he stole. Rather than crediting the entire fare for inconvenience. The company itself Is horrible. I am a driver and I was a Rider and all I can say is that a Uber doesn't give one krapp about anybody. They asked me to be part of a driver advisory panel to hear what it's like for me and then they make the meeting downtown in rush hour on the first snow day. It is clear to me that they are uninterested in improving their business or their standing with the general public. I will be moving my business. Many other businesses outdo Uber every day. Lyft and doordash for starters.

I'm a driver who experienced getting a 3 consecutive rides promotion on my App but did not receive the money. Driver help support tells me I was not in the correct area. I clicked on the icon and was given a very generic explanation about the offer but no mention of area for which this applied. Not shown on map. Help personnel were not able to give me any satisfactory explanation. Bait and switch comes to mind!

I was picked up 20 min late at the airport when it said driver was 4 min away. the trunk was broken so the luggage was in the front seat. driver missed my exit as i was trying to get home a faster way. Argued with me that they were just following the map. Blamed me and my friend for distracting her. If you are distracted you shouldn't drive. If someone saying exit here is a problem don't drive. Uber would not comp the ride. Absolutely unacceptable and wrong. Im pissed to even be going this a 1 star ratting.

You know why they don't, because customers have so many problems they would have to hire a bank of 100's of phone people. Decent enough service. The only complaint I have so far is there rating system. First, rating customers in a service oriented field is stupid. Second, Uber considers a four star rating as a fail, both for drivers and riders, hence, my four star review for Uber as a company. Is this considered a fail? At least it will help your overall rating.

My 18th time with Uber... The worst and maybe the last. I waited the driver during 10 minutes (That was written 2 min), it's ok. I choose a Uber Pool, Share a Uber with other user ok, why not. Extra Charge of 2.3X in the afternoon ok, I'll pay. For reach the 2nd user near Powell, we took 25min, and the second user didn't answer. Finally the driver brought me at home, and imagine what? 57$ with 13.48$ for the time?? WTF? I don't have to pay the time for reach the second user if he canceled. Plus I know that you charged the second user for the canceled course, that's crazy!

I almost died working for Uber Eats on a bike this past week which I was hit by an uber driver who had two passengers with her and they were the the only ones who witnesses a out of the car to check on you as I laid unconscious the intersection of Chicago and LaSalle . Chicago Illinois. I am typing this from the trauma unit here at Northwestern Hospital. I have represented Uber more then thier own company ever have or will.

Horrible company. I'm a driver and I'm constantly being cheated and having to argue with the company over things. They take action against drivers without conducting proper inquiries or investigations. They penalize drivers without looking into the facts. Their support system is not very supportive at all and in most cases either non-responsive or when they do respond their response is totally off-the-wall like a bunch of retards and has nothing to do with whatever I contacted them for in the first place. Uber has a lot of business growing up to do they're very immature company
