AWARD FOR WORST MANAGER GOES TO: **MAT DAVIS OF TOYOTA OF LEWISVILLE**
Toyota, if you read this, either train this guy to know how to treat customers or just send him to clean the toilets and not deal with customers. Not sure exactly how he is the servicing manager?
SAVE YOURSELF FROM:
- terrible treatment by "a manager"
- time and energy wasted because Mat truly doesn't care about customers (even when it was all their fault!)
- zero resolution (you'll get no apologies from him)
- WORST attitude by "a manager" (this takes the cake)
In summary, IF YOUR CAR NEEDS SERVICING, save your time and drive a couple more miles to take it elsewhere, at least any other place where MAT DAVIS doesn't work.

Shopping for an SUV Friday morning and stopped at Toyota of Lewisville. The salesman, Henry Ventura introduced himself within a few minutes and then left me to browse and didn't bug me at each car I showed interest in. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I love my new SUV and Toyota of Lewisville will be my first stop to check out if and when I need to trade in this one. Thank you to all the staff :-)

The manager "Steve Tower" is a breath of fresh air...

The manager "Steve Tower" is a breath of fresh air when it comes to lending credibility to a dealership service department. He is fair, honest and empathetic when dealing with customers. His support staff, with the exception of the body manager, who lives in a state of denial, are very helpful. This is my chosen dealership and I enjoying doing business with them.

However, the guys at Lone Star Toyota made it so easy and were so good to me I cannot be more thankful for them!! Ivan the New Car Director and Xavier my sales guy were awesome. I got my 2017 Highlander and could not be more in love! Better yet, I don't feel anxious, I feel happy and know that I got a great deal! Should I want another car I know where I will be going! They do false commitment and i was cheated by showing documents of breakdown coverage instead of millage allowance and when i received a bill from Toyota Financial Services and i tried top contact them they said they cannot do anything. And the contract was showing less millage allowance. Be care full, you will get cheat.

Terrible customer service in the new car sales dept. I went to the dealership to do a trade in and order a new vehicle. Spoke with Sam and Jim. They told me they would call me back the next day. At the end of the business day, I spoke to Chris, new car sales manager and told him how frustrated I was that I didn't get a call back. He just directed my call to Jim without trying to rectify the problem. Spoke to Jim. He reacted negatively to my complaint and refused to give me the name of the owner. Highly recommend that you visit another dealership if you want to be treated like a valued customer.

Bought a 2015 "certified" Venza end of July. Was promised cert. paper work and owner operater manuals. Called up there 4 times left 2 voice messages with no call backs. Finally talked to Chris in internet sales. He promised to get back with me over 2 weeks ago...still haven't heard from him. Call again 10 days ago ,spoke to Sam (used car manager) he said he gave the salesman our paperwork but who knows where he or it is. Also said he'd check into it and get back with me. Still waiting !!!!! Of all the Toyota dealers to choose from in DFW area this would be my last . Worst customer service ever!!!!! Well now end of November...no word from them. Also car fax showed clean one owner no damaged car and salesman also said it had 160 point certified inspection. Well after we got it home discover rear bumper and hood have been repainted for some reason??? And not very good either!!! So don't trust car fax or salespeople when purchasing a "certified" vehicles. In over 50 years of driving and buying cars we have never been treated like this. Sad...let the buyer beware!!!!!

I recently bought a new Toyota Camry at the store. Mike was outstanding. Overall everyone was very nice and the whole thing took under 2 hours. I came from Frisco but got a rockstar price. Definitely worth the 15 minute drive. I have since brought in my car for the free oil changes that Toyota provided. I'm a big fan.

This is a horrible place to associate with. They swapped my car with a different one when purchasing. We did not realize that until later. At the time, we did see that we were being overcharged on the financing papers. We pointed that out and were told we would be sent a refund for the difference. In the end, they never sent us a refund. The car has issues that they refuse to fix. Also, we are stuck with these "free oil changes." Only, they are not free, they charged us $400 up front for them after we told them not to. That was the main thing they were supposed to send us a refund on. When we go, it takes hours to get the oil changed. And while we sit there and for several weeks after, we get sales calls. They refuse to stop. They are relentless. We have tried putting them on block on our phones but then they just call from other numbers. Even while sitting in the waiting room for the oil changes, they will approach you and try to convince you that you have to buy a new car.

I want to add more now, two years after my original review. Their service department is awful. They do a repair, half way. I have gotten my Sienna back with the repair not done and had to return. I have had where I waited for parts, and the parts never arrive, they forgot to order. Their work is beyond inferior.

After moving to Lewisville my 2013 Toyota Corolla ...

After moving to Lewisville my 2013 Toyota Corolla needed a service. I called lone star Toyota of Lewisville before bringing my vehicle in for service. I inquired about when they'd be available for a routine service and they said they had openings at 10:30, 11:00, and 11:30. I said I'd bring my vehicle in at 10:30.

I arrived there around 10:20. I was informed that it would take at least 3 hours before they could work on my vehicle. Grudgingly I accepted this as I was already there. I used their free shuttle service to get a 4 mile ride home.

After 3 hours the advisor called me and told me that my vehicle was ready. I asked them to send a shuttle to pick me up and they said they would. I waited for 2 hours until the shuttle came.

When I got to the dealership I paid for my service and was handed the keys. I was provided a receipt but no documentation about the inspection performed on the vehicle. No one explained what the inspection consisted of and what the results were.

A few days later, my tire pressure monitoring light came on in the dash. I checked my tire pressures to find them all below 25 PSI (OEM recommended pressures are 32 according to the door jamb sticker). This means the tech either didn't check the tire pressures or set them extremely low.

I won't be returning to this dealership for the reasons explained above. To the dealership service department, I'd recommend fixing the issues listed below:
1. When a customer asks what time you're available to work on a vehicle, tell the truth. Don't say "we are available right now" when you aren't.
2. If a shuttle is going to take 2 hours, at least give the customer a heads-up. It's no big deal that it takes that long but just let us know.
3. Provide a copy of the inspection report to the customer (like every other dealership and most chain shops do...)
4. Discuss the inspection with the customer.
5. Fill the tires to the manufacturer's specifications.

I wish I could give 0 stars... this is a fraudulent, lying, and untrustworthy dealership. They had me sign 2 contracts, neither one I got a copy of... and then the finance company got a completely different one that I didn t agree to. My payment went up again, and nobody at this place wants to take responsibility. I ll be contacting the BBB, and making sure that I NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. You guys need some training in ethics. I hope y all enjoy that $10k downpayment that I worked my butt off for. I m disgusted.

No other person comes close to the experience and the knowledge this guy has when it comes to helping someone purchase a new vehicle! Had one for my car serviced there they put scratches on my car and when I showed it to them they said no this was there from before but the paperwork didn't show any scratches and they denied it completely. Service that's why I just said that my manager will call you but nobody called me till now. Please inspect your car before giving them for service.

I just had a 105K oil change service an hour ago,...

I just had a 105K oil change service an hour ago, before I bring in my car everything was OK - it was just a routine "oil change". The check engine, VSC and TRAC OFF is NOT lit ON it is "OFF", but after the oil change service all of this is warning is now lit "ON" on my dashboard.
I did ask why so??? The answer was "oh we have not done anything to cause that" - I get that, I understand that because it was just a routine oil change right But the fact of the matter is, it was not there before the service, and after the service it is there now. Another fact is that the car was "touch" last by the Toyota Service, isn't it that at least as a courtesy, Toyota Service should at least check it out if it is a legit problem or not .... remember and take note, it was not there before they did anything on my car.
But yes they will do the diagnostics and check it out, but with a price attached to it - a diagnosis fee of $99. It just doesn't sit well on me, kind of unacceptable - it was not there in the 1st place before I came in, and after the service magically now there and can't explain why.

Lets do the analogy and reverse the situation, let say the dealership loan me a replacement car, beforehand it is being checked and guaranteed everything is OK even extra check if there is dents and, then I returned the car with a small dent - let say it was not the same after I returned it. I can not say, "oh I didn't know what happen, maybe somebody cause" at the very least I think I will be responsible for it, and most likely it will cost me.

But why not on this case, it wasn't there beforehand anyway.

I spend a lot of money for a service on my car since I bought it, from 5K service now to 105K, but recently I just do the oil change. It is not my fault that I had a lifetime oil free change - it was offer when I bought this car. And don't get me wrong - the car was really great had no major problem since I bought it.
But sometimes I got a feeling that since I had lifetime oil free change, I feel like the service department wants me to spend more for the service and this is one way of doing it.
Intentional or not, but this is what I feel right now and seems like what it turns out to be, the way just happen right now.
I am not sure if writing this review will do me good in the future, because for sure I will be coming back for 110K and beyond oil change service, but I am hoping the "Lone Star of Toyota Lewisville" will not take this review personally.
I am hoping the dealership will do something about it and improve how you guys do your service.

Brought out a dirty cabin air filter to tell me I needed a new one. Problem was it wasn't my air filter as I had just changed mine and I write the date with a sharpie on it. They also charged 5 hours of labor when I waited 30 minutes to fix something plus they marked up the part 200% Never again.

I purchase a lifetime oil change contract in 2007. Granted I've owned my vehicle for 11 years and 152,000 miles, however when I went to the dealership this week to get my oil changed they demanded to see my original contract and a purple key fob to change the oil. I don't recall ever having a purple key fob and have never been asked for this item in the past 11 years of free oil changes. As you choose to buy a service contract from this dealership please be mindful that lifetime does not actually mean lifetime it just means as long as they want to deal with it. I am still alive and I still own the vehicle. Lone Star Toyota won't be getting any of my business for my lifetime.

These guys are criminals. Their computer shows a history of changing my oil for free for 11 years and now the new owner decides not to honor the program. I reached out to Rene Isip the previous owner personally and he agreed they should honor the program.

I call today as well but every time I call this place the person who take care of the licence plate is not there and they always take my info do they can call me back but i haven't receive any call or email yet. I call today, the second day... they didn t even assign me a new advisor because my advisor was off today. I just want to know if they can fix my car or not.... if it s in there still tomorrow too. I kept my 2001 Honda so that I could give my 16 year old son a quality car that I know has been taken care of. I decided that I wanted to upgrade to a Toyota Avalon after looking at several other makes and models. Sales Rep Bruce Clark at Lone Star Toyota sat down with me and we figured out how to get the exact car that I wanted. Exterior Color, interior and all the bells & whistles. The process was easy and i never felt pressured to purchase. I highly recommend Bruce & Lone Star Toyota!

Had some issues with oil consumption around 95,000 miles - the service department had to go to a lot of work to diagnose the issue, and then when it turned out to be some pretty major work, they worked really closely with me to help keep costs down. Love that! All fixed, ready to drive it another 95,000 miles. Also liked how they stayed in close contact with me throughout the whole process and explained everything to me in detail (and repeated things at the speed I needed . . . slowly . . . ). As an educator, I love it when things are explained well that just makes me happy...

Yesterday, I had my Toyota RAV4 serviced at the Toyota Lewisville location. I have avoided going to any Toyota because of my low opinion that came from my last two experiences in Grapevine. The location in Grapevine was actually shocking to me (compared to my experience with a Toyota dealership in CA) because the service waiting area was small and crowded, with cheap office style seats sitting right next to one another, without room between them. The room was poorly ventilated, had old industrial carpet and was downright unattractive. Their idea of refreshments for their customers were two vending machines, one for drinks and one for snacks, in the same close, small area as customer seating. The machines made noise and emitted heat on a hot summer day with a weak air conditioning system. Their restrooms were dirty and the door would not lock properly.

I took a chance and went to Toyota of Lewisville this time and I am very glad I did. It was extremely clean, with shining floors and aesthetically pleasing decor. There were 2 waiting areas with comfortable couches, loveseats & chair seating, a separate work area, and a cafe area for refreshments. The music playing was at a comfortable level and I was able to do some work while I waited. My experience was a pleasant one and improved my opinion of Texas Toyota dealerships. I will not hesitate to visit Lewisville Toyota for services in the future.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS DEALER FOR SERVICE! They will tell you to fix things that are not broken. Or they will even go as far as breaking your car and then tell you that they did not break it. They will also blame it on the previous mechanic shop that you have taken your car to for service prior to having it service at Toyota.
This had happened to me. I took it in for an oil change and they told me the previous place I took it to had broke my oil housing and oil sub pan. Cost me $3600 to change the damage that they have done to my car. This is shameful for them. Do not trust them. Liars!

Angel Calix in the Sales Department is my angel! I have never had such a wonderful (and I mean this) car buying experience. He helped my daughter buy her first brand new car and not only sold her a very dependable car, but taught life lessons in a positive way. Angel had tremendous follow up with both of us. He kept his promises and made it happen. When we finalized the deal, there were no surprises. Like I said Angel is an angel. He has created a lifelong Toyota customer in her and now myself. I will buy my next cars from Angel and Toyota Lewisville. My daughter said that the Finance Department was stellar and treated her with respect and honesty. They made a miracles happen!! Waited 1-1/2 hours for a oil change and rotation and then the washed my truck without permission after I had just had detailed. The car washed they used left a bunch of water spots and scratches on the front end of the truck. Why would they wash a clean truck,better yet why didn t they ask me first. I m assuming the run it through a automatic wash. If you re not going to do it right don t do it at all. Thanks for scratching my truck. I won t be going back.

What an experience I had with Rene Isip dealership! During this trip and two car purchases later over a two month period, I was sick to learn that Rene Isip sold the dealership and I ended up with the car from HELL. The original sales manager I had been dealing with was fired and I did not know who to turn to. I made an appointment with the new owner's General Manager, Jack Brennan and Service Manager, Chris Brown. Was I ever pleasantly surprised that they were willing to listen to my story. Jack and his entire team that he was building all worked together to make it a much better experience. I was actually dealing with honest and fair people. They understood I was not happy with my transactions. They went above and beyond to make it right for me and now I love my new car and couldn't be happier. I would recommend this dealership to any of my friends and family and feel confident they will be taken care of and will not feel the agony of buying a new car. Thank you Toyota of Lewisville for making me a very happy customer!

My wife and I bought a new 4-Runner about a month ago. Let me start by saying that the sales people are great. They stayed late to wait on us because we could not get there until almost 8 pm. We were never rushed, all questions were answered, and we left with the deal and the vehicle we wanted. It was not until we went into financing where things started to take a turn. They wanted an opportunity to beat our bank's rate and they did....great! We finished singing all of the paperwork and I asked for copies of everything. I was told that they would mail them to me. I thought that's weird, but OK.... I've bought and sold a dozen cars in my lifetime and I've always gotten copies of the contract at the time of purchase. A week goes by and nothing in the mail. I email the finance person we were dealing with and she assured me that she would get them in the mail that day. Another week goes by and still nothing. I email again and no response, so I call and talk to someone in financing who is apologetic and says as soon as he gets of the phone he will mail it. Another week goes by and nothing. So finally I drive the 45 minutes to the dealership wait for 20 minutes and get the copies of the deal. Customer service seemed to stop after you buy the car. The finance department appears very unorganized. If they are going to be a customer facing part of the organization then they need to have much better customer service skills. This was the second 4-runner I have bought from this dealership, not sure if there will be third...

Beware, these are scammers and the invest ZERO dollars to restore their cars. I went to the service center on 5/18/2020 because of my vehicle's safety recall. I called recall & service center before I visit the service center. Recall servicing should be free, but when I visited there they tried to charge $150 for the diagnosing fee. So I came back home without paying the fee and called toyota safety and service to check again if I misunderstand any of this situation. I was not wrong, it should be free from the start to the end. MAKE SURE THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CHARGE YOU FOR ANY UNNECESSARY FEE. I went to the Dallas branch of Toyota and everything went good as it should be.

Show up in person and told the car is sold two days prior. They didn't really push to get us something we were looking for. They don't seem keen on selling us the vehicle. Incompetent is the only way to describe this dealership. First, I decided on a Rav4 after a trip to the State Fair. Toyota gave a $500 coupon at the fair and I met every requirement to get the $500. The dealership first said they will send the coupon in with my paperwork and I'll be reimbursed for the $500, Then after the deal was done, they said they do not have guidance for the coupon, therefore it is no good there. In following with their incompetence, I purchased my toyota over a month ago and I still do not have a registration sticker because no one knows how to transfer my disability plates to the new vehicle. This is the only dealership I have purchased from in the past 30 years that didn't know how to process a transfer of the plates.

They work with me to get the price right and explained financials to me that I didn't understand before. They didn't have the color I wanted on the lot so they went and found one for me and while I waited for it to arrive they provided a rental. Conrad was very helpful and went through everything the dealership had to offer. I really like Toyota because they are reliable vehicles but it's nice to know the service is just as reliable.

We had our 2011 Corrolla in for the airbag recall since Nov 2016 and were provided with a rental until first week in Sept. 2017. We were notified of progress if recall in a regular basis. The rental office was always accommodating as we even had a family vacation and needed a larger vehicle and they happily upgraded us to the new RAV4. This was such an amazing vehicle, that my 16 year son said this is vehicle he wants for his personal vehicle. Looks like we will be back in a few months to purchase a new Toyota!

My salesman was great and the used car department seemed fair. Jennifer, one of the finance managers was amazing! She made the process go from dreaded to almost enjoyable. The dealership did say that they would have my license plates in within two weeks, and it has been three and half and they haven't contacted me, yet.

After many car purchases, we weren't looking forward to the experience of buying a new vehicle, but the time had come. We visited a number of dealerships in the area, and each was a huge disappointment. Just when we thought we were doomed, we came across Ali and Thibaut at Lone Star Toyota. What a great bunch of guys. Thibaut took the time to show us a number of vehicles and show all the features that came with each vehicle. Ali was great in negotiating, and we felt like we arrived at a very fair price. On the day the vehicle was ready, Thibaut personally delivered it to our house, and picked up our trade-in. It was a great experience, and I would highly endorse both Thibaut and Ali.

Friendly folks, easy to do business with, and super nice dealership. Kids play area, free soft drinks, flavia, cookies, cheap food in avalon cafe. Just a good place to buy and service a car.

Also, they wash your car. Or my car, rather. But they'll wash yours if you bring it in.

My husband and I spent yesterday afternoon with Edgar Arroyo and Ivan Funes at Lone Star Toyota Lewisville buying two new cars for our family. Edgar was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and enjoyable to work with. He helped us consider all of our options and make two excellent choices. He was so kind helping our daughter get settled into her new car. He was delightful and made the process fun and entertaining. Ivan was professional, detailed and also patient as we worked through the purchase details. I wish I can give no star.I had a very bad experience.
Before going to this dealership I had the down-payment and financial support ready to buy a car.
I had a target price (which I can afford) and I can be little flexible.
Instead of talking about numbers, they talk about my shirt price, am I single or married, what I do with my salary, etc.
When there was a $1000 difference in our negotiation, they asked if I had a credit card so that they can swipe for the $1000 down payment even before I agreed upon the final price.
They had no idea how to deal with a customer.He walked away even before I could make a decision. Very rude and arrogant. Will never deal with them again!

I took my vehicle for the 5000 mile service. The service adviser was very professional. I was taken care of quickly. When the service was completed he explained what was done. He answered all the questions I had about the vehicle. The dealership was very crowded however there were enough seats for all.
