I originally leased a car from Lonestar Toyota back in 2016 and they made the experience super easy and got us an extremely low payment. I went in recently to buy the car before my lease was up and Jack Mitchell and Oliver were extremely helpful in explaining the process to us and getting everything done in a timely fashion to send me home with my car. This is the one dealership we have found that feels like home and you're treated like family when you walk in the door. My family has bought a couple cars from here and will continue to do in the future.

This was my 1st purchase from Lone Star Toyota and I am very pleased. I had purchased my previous Toyota from another Toyota dealer, so it was a big decision to change dealerships, but I did because of salesman, Xavier. He entertained my questions and made the purchase experience hassle-free. I recommend Lone Star to anyone looking for a vehicle.

This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a Toyota dealer (the Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville, i.e.). I have been to many Toyota dealers, such as Toyota of Richardson and Plano, and they were good. However, this one is really awful. Honestly, the building is very nice, but the administrators/supervisors--at least, the one I had an appointment with in order to see a specific car, a Silver Toyota Camry 2011--are not professional at all. Here is why: I had an appointment with one of the sales managers, whose name is Ryan, in order to see and test drive the aforementioned car. When I arrived, he told me to wait because he did not have the key with him. It is with the service people, he said. I waited for a quite a long time. Finally another person arrived, and he showed me another car--a gold Camry LE 2011. I explained that this is NOT the car I wanted to buy and showed him the Silver Camry that I saw on their website. He told me to wait, and he showed other models. I told him that I came for the Sliver Camry 2011. "If you sold it already, just tell me," I said. Finally, after I insisted that he show it to me, I discovered to my great frustration and disgust that it has hail damage, of which there was no mention whatsoever on their website! I regret that I wasted more than an hour for what is essentially a junk car. Leave aside the lack of professionalism; such blatant dishonesty is reprehensible.

This place is a joke! Call to schedule service for my wife car because Toyota of Plano was booked until mid April. The service advisor talked like he didn t want my business! Told him a had a maintenance package but he refused to look it up for me. This reinforces why I didn t buy a vehicle here in the first place!

Buyer beware!

I have a loaded 2019 Tundra Platinum 4WD purchased from Lonestar Toyota in Lewisville, TX that I originally loved until I discovered 3 defects that Toyota service folks see and acknowledge but Toyota wont fix under warranty because they call them "normal." Never had a Toyota, but due to their BS and not standing behind their products - it will be the last. Have fought with the Lonestar Lewisville Service department and also had a case open through the National Toyota Customer Experience Center since October last year. Both are providing no solutions. They see and acknowledge the issues but wont fix them.
#1. Bed is visually uneven when view from the rear. Measuring the floor to the fender lip proves 7/8" difference from left to right. Toyota response "Many are uneven so it is not warrantable."
#2. 20-30 small paint specks that when clean and polished can be seen and even felt with fingernail. Toyota response "Spots are visible but not not out of spec so not warrantable." When I ask what spec is, no one has an answer.
#3 Grill molding just below the hood pops loose and shows an uneven bulge. You can pop in back down but then pops loose again after first bump in the road. Toyota response "We checked brand new ones in parts inventory and they all do that so we wont replace it under warranty."

Potential buyers should consider a different brand and dealer.

On October 25, 2017, we bought a 2014 Ford Focus ST from Lone Star Toyota, Lewisville and less than two weeks later we had to bring the car back because the turbo was unplugged. During this visit, the mechanic told us that the clutch was bad and that it showed sign of being damaged by the previous owner.

When buying a vehicle from a dealership, you would want to feel comfort in knowing that they did every check of the vehicles so their buyers would not have issues immediately after the purchase.

Before the second car payment, my son called Angelo, the salesman who sold us the car because the car stopped on him at a four-way and had to tow it home. He left voicemails for Angelo and asked the receptionist to leave him messages, but we still could not get a hold of him. After trying several times to speak to him, I asked my son to contact the manager, again no returned calls. Finally, I called to speak to someone in service who told me that we would need to get the car towed to the dealership for it to be checked out and but it was better if we took it to a Ford dealership. I also talked Jane in the finance; she informed me that we have warranty coverage to cover repairs.

After tireless efforts to reach a plausible decision on where to take the car and who is responsible for the repairs. We decided to get the vehicle towed to North Central Ford Plano, who also informed us that the clutch and flywheel was bad and that those damages look as if it was a previous owner. I contacted the warranty company and found out the repairs were not covered and Lone Star was not offering any mitigation. On January 8, 2018, we had to pay $2000 for this repair before the second car payment was even made.

Still, in disbelief, we purchased a vehicle from a dealership who has the equipment and the manpower to offer quality service, which was NOT given in this case. Today is January 14, 2018, and we have not received any calls from Lone Star Toyota Lewisville regarding this matter.

The previous week I had scheduled maintenance performed at the dealership in Arlington, but the next week I had my vehicle towed to this dealership in Lewisville because my vehicle broke down on that side of town. This dealership in Lewisville (knowing the service history and knowing of the warranty) would not cover all the costs of the work to my vehicle. This dealership charged me and stated that I had to be reimbursed by the dealership in Arlington. Since that time, both dealerships have been blaming the other stating that the other should have covered the costs of the tow truck, labor, and parts. I believe that its sad that we live in a society today where no one wants to "do the right thing." I've been loyal to both dealerships for years but obviously loyalty means nothing to either dealership. I plan to take my business with Toyota of Plano in the near future.

I can rely on him to email me information and when something new comes on the lot, he is the first to contact me if it fits my needs. Quite possibly the worst dealership you can do business with. Bought a new car here last year. The entire purchase process was full of lies and misdirection (that were totally unnecessary as I wanted to purchase the car). The car (new) has been in the shop over 10 times since purchase. The manager of the service department has been extremely confrontational about performing service (which is listed in a Toyota issued technical service bulletin as being necessary service!). Final kiss of death? Went in last night as my situation has changed and I am no longer needing the car. Just wanted them to do a quick appraisal. I was told over the phone that this is no problem. Made the drive in. Spent 30 minutes there before they told me to come back on Monday because they are too busy on the weekends to do appraisals on cars. Oh really?

Make the drive somewhere else to do your car purchase. Listen to the other reviews. For such an expensive purchase, you can do a lot better for service, care and quality.

He is extremely knowledgeable about Toyota vehicles and will consult you in every aspect of the vehicle. I would recommend him for anyone buying vehicle from lonestar. I wanted to share my recent experience with my daughter's brand new Toyota Prius. Within three weeks of owning her car she managed to scratch the bumper. The damage was a little more extensive than is covered protection plan we purchased. It only covers minor touch up paint. I emailed photos of the damage to Selena Coffman after a quick call explaining the situation and within no time we were contacted by Chris Brown who asked us to come by with the car so he could examine it. When I arrived, he took the vehicle to have his painters look it over. Within 5 minutes he came back and said, "we can take care of this". I left the car overnight so they could work on it the next day. The dealership has a shuttle that drove me home. The following afternoon, the shuttle picked me up and took me to the dealership. I was greeted by Chris Brown and taken to see the car. The paint job was perfect, I was amazed at the quality of the work. Most importantly, Chris covered the work under the plan even though it shouldn't have been covered. It's this type of service that drives loyalty. Definitely impressed.

We used to use this location all the time for service on both of our LEXUS vehicles when it was TOYOTA OF LEWISVILLE. Once it changed it's name to LONE STAR TOYOTA, things started going downhill quickly! We started noticing that every time we had our cars serviced there, they would find things that were NOT wrong with the vehicle. We had to go to PARKWAY LEXUS in Grapevine for a second opinion, where we found that wasn't the case at all.

Also, the last time we went in for an oil change on our LEXUS RX350, they actually told us they no longer service anything but TOYOTA vehicles. We told the agent "Guess who owns LEXUS ? That would be TOYOTA". He said "sorry, that's our policy". That's when we left and will NEVER return.

Beware of dealing with this dealership. I have been a repeat customer and instead of treating me as such they have decided it's better to try and rip me off. We trading in one vehichle and signed paperwork, took the car home only to be notified a week later that they had made a mistake and raised our monthly payments over a 100 dollars a month. Tbis was after they ran my wifes credit nearly 20 times and dragging down her score. I believe in reputation in business is the most important thing for any company, but Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville would rather see if they can cheat every single penny out of every single sale than build long lasting relationships with customers. If you feel like being ripped off and treated like an idiot then this is the dealership for you. I strongly suggest you shop around and avoid this place.

This was not my first car buying experience. I've bought several cars in my life. My experience at Lone Star Toyota Of Lewisville today, on 7/29/17, was by far the VERY BEST experience I've EVER had! What made my experience today so AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL was my sales professional, Angelos Iosif, because he did literally EVERYTHING he could do to help me get the VERY BEST deal. Not only is he an AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL sales professional, he is also a very kind, friendly, thoughtful, considerate, positive, helpful gentleman. If I know anyone who is considering purchasing a vehicle, I would TOTALLY recommend going to Lone Star Toyota Of Lewisville, and meeting up with Angelos Iosif because he is the ABSOLUTE VERY BEST in the business!!

Do not even try and get a deal when purchasing a car. Sales manager is horrible and wasted our time. Too bad i forgot his name. But ok so we found a se camry we liked that had not been serviced or reconditioned and we asked for as-is price and salesperson gave us a price then we went for a test drive and they were gonna do paperwork, we went to get food and when we returned the sales manager apologized but said he couldnt honor the price the sales guy had given us cause he already had some money into it and needed to mKe a little profit but he did give us a lower price then what he said he was gonna ask if he certified it and reconditioned it. Then after he accepted our offer he then came back and said sorry he can only accept the offer if we financed thru them, we spent 4 hours here and left when they closed. A month later we found a cheaper priced same model but xle camry with lower mileage.

I went in there with my wife and mentor to try to do a two car deal with really no expectations. I went into LoneStar Toyota to look at the new Camry lease deal that I saw advertised on TV... I was originally thinking that it must be a teaser ad and that I would have to pay more than advertised. This has happened to me in the past, so I was expecting it. I was greeted by Corey Williams who happily answered all my questions and took care of me.. I was very please do get my new Camry at the advertised price without having to spend hours negotiating. The whole process in and out with the new car took only a couple hours and I walked out of there happy and smiling. I did not have that feeling in my gut like I have in the past. For the first time I felt like the dealer did not get one over on me. They even paid me good money on a trade -in that needed a new transmission. I would definitely recommend LoneStar to my friends and family. They are a "5" in my book.

I cannot say enough good things about this Dealership. I'm from out of state and I purchased a new vehicle as well as traded in one. Got all the money I wanted from the Trade and a great deal on a new Tundra. Lone Star had to get my vehicle from another store so when it came in The General Manager Buck Barton even shipped the vehicle to me and took my old one back so I did not have to drive all the way back to Texas. Unbelievable customer service!! Sales department called me a day after to make sure everything was good and even got a call from the assistant Service Manager Matt Davis to make sure I understood all the service features of the store. This is a great place to do business with.

I am not pleased with service after the sale. I have had several issues with the service. I have called Sam the used car supervisor several times left messages on his voicemail he has never gave me the courtsey of a return call. I made a special trip to the dealership on Wednesday I waited in the lobby for 45 minutes still no Sam. I went to the dealership again on Sat to see Sam he sent word that I need to make an appointment to see him. I would have preferred to speak to Sam one on one to address my issues but since I have not been able to see him I am forced to leave this review. As a retired US Marine I have put in 20 plus hours a day. I have never not been available for Marines when they needed my assistant for anything. Perhaps Sam you should make time for customers after the sale. If not return customers will NOT return. Explain that to your mangers. That will be a great conversation to be a part of. SAM

Will never use this dealership. The sales person was wonderful but the issue was with her boss who lies saying they were losing money on a car they bought at auction. The price was listed at $15490 and at full price with tax title and lisence should have been around $17,000 instead they tried to sell to me for $17,900. When I received the purchasing paperwork it said they sold me the car at $16,450 which is not what was in their own website or sticker. Then I had to fight to get tint repaired on the car when there was airbrushed the name of the business who did the tint on the inside window. Will never use them. Went to driverselect got a better car out the door full loaded for $400 more then their out the door. Thanks for wasting my time. I will be sure to let my friends and family know where not to go. Dishonesty doesn't work. Shady business.

This dealership does not follow good business prot...

This dealership does not follow good business protocol. They change purchase price in the middle of a deal, then they force you to buy under time pressure, and if that doesn't work, they try to force you to finance with them as a condition for sale. All this going on without your awareness and consent.
It appears they don't know their business or are not ethical. I do not recommend them and feel they are not to be trusted. Wasted 4 hours!

Working with Toyota of Lewisville to purchase our Prius V was a wonderful experience. Everyone was very helpful, the salesman "Gonzo" was extremely knowledgeable about the car, and pointed out all of the features we would want to use.

Our experience with Toyota vehicles, Highlander, 4-Runner, Camry, and now Prius V has been excellent. Build quality exceeds all of the competition hands-down, and we are very pleased with the long life of our vehicles. We anticipate the same with our Prius V.

We went in to test drive the Camry, Nick was excellent, very patient with us late at night even though we were still officially deciding between three cars. My wife and I decided on the Camry and then Nick got us set up to drive the SE just in case we needed a different model for specific options. I worked with Thomas Matthew, he was great in being willing to work with me over the phone and email before coming in so that I could get more information before making the trip out. He was really quick and helpful with putting together the information since we were on a bit of a time crunch. In addition, after doing much research and calling about, this dealership has very competitive pricing and a better working experience than other similar dealers (Toyota or otherwise) than in the surrounding area!

We also purchased a brand new car and in the end, we were able to get the best deal. Over at the finance office, Angel was really great to us and he was so nice. It is with great regret that I have to leave a 1 star review. I work in sales and customer service, so trust me when I say, this is very hard to do. I know how damaging social media can be and this was literally the last thing I wanted to do, but after several calls with no help, we felt we had no choice. We have actually purchased THREE vehicle's from Lone Star. The first 2 times were GREAT! But unfortunately, this last purchase, made on 12/3/18 was horrible.
We kept receiving calls and e-mails from you indicating you would pay off the remainder of our lease, etc. So, we decided to go ahead and take advantage of that. When my husband came in and purchased the vehicle, he was ASSURED that Lone Star would take care of the remaining payments on our lease (about 4-5 months left) and that you would take care of the mileage (we were only about 3,700 miles over). He was informed that we would be charged for the 2nd key to his truck if we didn't return it, but he actually drove the 45 minutes to your dealership about 2 weeks after purchase and returned the 2nd key to you.
We have loved buying cars from Lone Star the last 3 times and up until this point have been very happy, I mean why else would we drive 45 minutes to YOUR dealership when we have one less than 5 minutes from our home in McKinney (Patt Lobb's Toyota of McKinney) so to say we are less than happy would be a massive understatement
HERE LIES THE PROBLEM:
We received a bill from Toyota Lease for $2,381.31 - we reviewed the bill and called Toyota Lease and were told that we were charged $150 for the 2nd key (that we did in fact return), $556.35 for mileage (which we were told Lone Star would pay for) $350 for a disposition fee (no clue what this is) and finally another $1,324.96 for the unpaid lease amount (which again, we were told by Lone Star would be paid off). My husband has called Collin and your sales manager to no avail.
NOW HERE'S THE REAL KICK:
I sent this in e-mail form to Collin McAdams and he wrote back and ADMITTED IN WRITING that you did indeed receive the 2nd key, that in fact you had agreed to pay off the remainder of our lease and that there was a 'miscommunication' between him and his sales manager about the mileage and he was 'sorry'. That's great, thanks for the apology, but it doesn't fix the problem.
I've called Toyota directly and they keep telling me I have to work with you to get this resolved and obviously that's not working. I REALLY HOPE WE CAN RESOLVE THIS AND I CAN REMOVE THIS 1* REVIEW. If this is not resolved next week, I will unfortunately have to report you to the Better Business Bureau since I have it writing that you guys were supposed to cover these costs and in fact you did not.

He has a vast pool of knowledge and I could tell he had my best interest at heart and that is really important to me. I was very imoressed from start to finish and I have found my new car place thanks to Steve and his great team. THANK YOU!

Great experience with sales buying a new 4 Runner. Horrible experience attempting to get anybody from finance to return our call. Tried for five weeks leaving messages a total of seven times with no return call whatsoever. Going to dealership in person today to cancel extended warranty and be reimbursed for the cost of warranty pro rated as we sold 4Runner.

Kass Folkman is the best car salesman in the North Dallas area. Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville is the best place to buy your new vehicle. Everyone from Kass to the finance lady to the manager is exceptionally friendly. I really enjoyed my experience of buying my car at Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville. Kass let me drive cars and explained the differences of each. He helped me sync my phone to my new car. Taught me features. Was very patient with me while I learned. Last month I inquired about a used Toyota 4Runner with a car salesperson (Frances Purrier). She remembered me and called me the moment the got one in. While i was at work she took pictures and sent them to me along with the pricing and details. We agreed to go look at it even though it was not the right color. We were so impressed witha our Salesperson that we disregarded the color and purchased the vehicle. Mrs. Purrier was awesome! And we bought the vehicle.

I worked a deal with them for my girlfriend by phone and was unable to accompany her to see the car. All lines of communication were open but they refused honor the price for her or give higher price in print. They are either sexist or dishonest, take your pick.

It's been a few weeks since I visited this dealership, and had told myself I wouldn't comment on them online after my HORRIBLE experience, but the lack of contact makes me think I need to warn others what they might be getting themselves into. I visited the store one evening with my family to meet with "Ashley" that was misteriously gone when we showed up. Who knows if "Ashley" even works there. All my communication had been with her, so the fact she wasn't even there made me uneasy, as I had brought my wife and two young kids and wanted it to go smoothly. We were also informed that the vehicle Ashley had assured us would be ready for a test drive was not available at the dealership. By this point.... Over 30 minutes at the dealership, my 2 kids were going crazy, and I felt like a moron for dragging my poor wife and kids on a 1/2 hour drive to possibly get the "car of our dreams." The icing on the cake was myself being walked up to a manager named Chris by my salesperson that was completely condescending and unapologetic to me in front of my family, and we walked away with them snickering at us in the background. I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed for my family. This might be an iscolated incident, but I just wanted others to know what they might be in for prior to this happening to them and there family.

Big red flag on customer service in finance! I bought a vehicle from them about 5 months ago, used my own financing, but they botched the paperwork and I had to resign everything almost a month later.

I purchased a warranty plan, but they never enacted it somehow. Now that I have a warranty claim, I can't get the repairs done because I apparently have been paying for a plan this whole time that I don't actually have.

So my family van is held up in the shop, and I've tried all day to get in touch with someone at Lone Star Toyota to clear this up, but all I can get is routed to a number that won't accept voicemail.

I called multiple dealerships in the area and went to 3 of them and all told multiple lies and sales people disappeared for long periods of time. We were told by all of them they could work the numbers and get the payment we wanted with fair credit and a bankruptcy and an upside down trade in. All changed their tune once we got there.
Lone star Toyota convinced me to come down and they were welcoming and followed through on all promises and even included a warranty on the 2012 used van we so Badly needed.
They were amazing even with our 4 screaming cbildren!
