It took over 4 hours to trade in our car and buy a van. We specifically asked not to have additional hard inquiries on our credit, since that had been done prior to our arrival. We discovered later that several inquiries had been added. After purchasing the less than 3 year old van, a plastic part fell off on the way home from the dealership. When they scheduled to "certify" the vehicle, we were told the part would be replaced. Ultimately they put some screws through the same plastic part. Our salesperson worked hard to help us make a deal, but that should be expected. Hopefully service in the future will provide a better experience.

Be sure to do a walk around with your service advisor. All service advisors SHOULD ask if the customer would like their car washed. I came in for an oil change today and everything was done in a timely matter. My service advisor was Paul. After paying for my service, I went to my car and noticed my bumper hanging out from the driver s side. It never came in that way but after confronting Paul, he was positive it came in that way but I see my car EVERYDAY. The bumper never popped out before. The car wash must have done it which is why I mentioned earlier to always ask customers if they want a wash done on their vehicle. Hypothetically speaking, if the bumper came in like that, it should ve been noted and then with a bit of common sense, don t run the vehicle in the car wash due to more damages occurring right? Overall, the bumper was never popped out prior to the service but Paul kept arguing with the me (customer) and he popped the bumper back in by lifting and connecting with the clips. But how do I know that there isn t any more internal damage? I ve had terrible experience with the service center at Toyota as you aren t treated fairly. I will never buy purchase a Toyota again just because of how poorly I m treated at the service department. This is just one of many experiences I ve had. In conclusion, please train service advisors to do a walk around prior to any service and to always ask the customer if they want a wash.

Service personnel recommended for Brake system flu...

Service personnel recommended for Brake system flushing and fuel injection system outright without inspecting the car when it ran only for 28000 miles. Off late got to know Toyota maintenance guidelines doesn t recommend this unless relevant indications, my car doesn't need that as it was running good, probably service center made money on my ignorance. Recommend to check once with other Toyota service providers.

Tried to get my car serviced yesterday at this location. I originally bought my car from the dallas Toyota dealership but i didn't feel like driving that far when this location was closer. I have the Toyotacare extended package which should cover my oil change and some other things. I was only expecting to get my tires rotated and my oil changed, but they said i needed to get my alignment done and something else which i'm not supposed to do for a while according to my original dealership. Under my toyota care package my oil change should have been free, but they tried charging me 200+ for my entire visit, and the oil charge alone they were trying to charge me 70 dollars. When i told them i had a plan with toyota where i shouldn't be charged they said it had expired last year. I have the paperwork in my car and i even talked to 2 different service people at the Dallas location saying they had no idea why they were trying to charge me for my oil change and said they should be able to see it in their system that I was covered.I have the screenshot from the Dallas location even stating i was covered from 25000 miles to 70,000 miles and when i showed them this they said that told them nothing.... I had to pull my car from service WHICH i did not know they put into service because I assumed he would wait until this was figured out before they started working on my car. Junior, the associate who was helping me originally told me that he would call the original dealership that I got my car from and would find out if i had coverage or not. I do not think he called them at all considering I talked to two different people there and they were able to pull up my info in 2 minutes. The ONLY reason why i was not charged was because eventually he said he didn't have the time to deal with me or my situation anymore and that he would just give me my car back. If i hadn't said anything at all they would have happily charged me the 230+ they quoted me. They kept trying to say that it must be an in house plan but i asked the Dallas location if it that info could be seen at any toyota dealership location and I was told yes by multiple people. I was literally told by multiple people at Dallas to take my car and run because they were trying to rip me off at this location. I called the manager at this location and he was ready to argue with me the entire time. Never once tried to hear me out or even try to figure out why i'm being told different things. Basically it was obvious he didn't care from the very beginning and wasn't going to help me in any way. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I ended up having to go get my car serviced again at the Dallas location just to make sure everything was done and to talk to them directly abut what this location kept telling me. They reassured us we should not have been charged and that they were also trying to do unnecessarily things for my car since i only have 25000 miles on it.

UPDATE: My dad called someone from HR to complain about the tough time they gave me at this location. The service guy AND the service manager i talked to both said they could not pull up my toyotoa care extended package in their system and kept saying they couldn't confirm something they couldn't pull up. The lady I talked to when I called to complain was able to pull up my extended plan AND SHE WAS ALSO ABLE TO GET A SERVICE ASSOCIATE AT THE LEWISVILLE LOCATION TO PULL IT UP WHEN SHE CALLED THEM (with no difficulty at all)...so there is some shady stuff going on here

Over all This is a reliable place to get your car serviced.

Even a tire rotation is a big deal for me and i wanted to get work done at the right place.
Coming to Lewisville Toyota you will have the complete peace of mind about your car and the best part is they dont force you to change something which is not really urgent.
This is something i really liked as I can plan for my car expense well in advance and I will be done with the fix at the right time.

Also the associates you deal with are good and very good in explaining whats going on with the car.

To conclude as i mentioned above one of the most reliable place to drop off your car for a proper car care.

I have purchased 4 cars from this dealership over the years and their service department is getting worse and worse with each new owner. 2018 $70k Tundra - They can't figure out how to do the required software upgrade on it and wont' call me back about it. Plus, I have a Toll bill in my name for some reason for a 2018 Camry (Toll dates are from Mar 2 - Apr 16). I NEVER owned or rented a 2018 Camry from them and now I have to deal w/ the DMV and Toll way collections department about Toyota of Lewisville's mistake. The Toll bill is $125! I can't think of a worse cust service experience and I will never purchase a car of them again.

I was in search of new Toyota Sienna one of their sales man calls and told me that they are having a great deal going on because of end on the month wanting to make their goal, I drove out their with my family and test drove the van, the price I saw online was $45K but after test drive the sales man whom have no knowledge of about the van took my information and came back with $55k sticker price! please stay away from this dealership!!

My wife and I looked at a brand new SUV. I'll be honest in that we didn't intend on buying that day but we decided to fill out an application. We didn't know our exact credit scores going in but had an idea and knew neither of us had bad credit. They told each of us that our scores were about 100 points below what we had seen just a few weeks earlier online. We were told we'd have a 10% interest rate and couldn't qualify for any special 0% through Toyota Credit. I've qualified for those special Toyota 0% deals before from another dealership. They eventually said they could get us a 5% interest rate and demanded at least $3,000 down. We walked and they chased us out trying to stop us from leaving.
We decided to go to another dealership and got the special 0% interest on a brand new RAV4. The other dealership even gave us window tinting free.
My wife had a horrible experience with this dealership years before but then some friends had a great experience, which is why we stopped there to look. We are an all-Toyota family and will only own Toyotas. But I will go to any other dealership than this one to buy from in the future.

Old phone numbers to different departments. Voice mail that. won't take messages. I did talk to two people who were nice. But the dealership as a whole gets a D- from me.

This is both a review of Toyota and Lone Star. I bought an 07 Camry in September of 2016 for my daughter. It had been garage kept and it was a "Toyota" so I WRONGLY assumed it was a good buy. Well turns out Toyota was not only sued for accelerators and air bags. They also put in dashboards that MELT in their Camrys. Due to a class action lawsuit, not their own volition they did a "Warranty Extension" and replaced the melting dashboards in Camrys. The owners were notified in May of 2016. Again I bought it because it was a TOYOTA (safe, reliable, good company.) It was garage kept so the dash and car were pristine. It turns out I bought the car in the middle of the warranty extension, I was never notified, and the dash did not melt until it was parked outside the following summer. I began researching why it melted, found the "warranty extension, and called Lone Star. My issue with them is I called them and they took my VIN and said I was still eligible. I rearranged all the cars so my kids could get to school and drove to Lewisville only to find out that the car is literally 4 months too old. Seriously 4 months and no one could be bothered to tell me that before I took the time to go up there. POOR SERVICE!! Then as they informed me that there was nothing they could do a very rude woman (did not get her name and by the way I am a woman so I use her gender only so their service department will know who I am talking about) that worked there said it was my fault for not getting it in sooner. Not "I am so sorry we didn't tell you before you drove here" and she was not even who I was working with so she went out of her way to be nasty. Well her mouth made sure I will never do business with them again. How was I to know that a MELTING DASHBOARD was common in Toyotas. When I first noticed it I thought maybe a product we used to clean it had done it then it became obvious this was more than that. It really never dawned on me that once again TOYOTA had released an inferior product. Honestly shame on me I should have realized that this company is actually now known for that exact same thing. Again my issue is mainly with Toyota, but Lone Star could have been handled much better. Wasting my morning was their fault and then they were rude. Then I call Toyota to see if there was anything that could be done. Same attitude just too late. Well this is my last Toyota and I caution anyone else who is thinking of a Toyota or Lexus. Toyota is no longer a name that means quality.

My experience with Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville was by far the best experience I've had at a Toyota dealership. I went in to have routine maintenance done on one of my vehicles, and had the itch to look for my next vehicle. Just leaving the service area I was greeted by Thibaut Verlinde, well mannered and very professional, lead me throughout the entire process of looking for my next vehicle very easy and stress free! I definitely recommend him to all my family and colleagues!

I have specifically asked for the general manager Kyle Oakes. And all they do is transfer me around. I leave messages and nl one calls me back. I was lied to and taken advantage of when i purchased my vehicle. I feel ripped off and disgusted with lone star toyota. I regret purchasing my corolla from them. Their customer service is so horrible that i had no choice but to seek help elsewhere. I do not recommend anyone ever step foot in this dealership. I am single mother with 2 kids and can not afford to have a dealer steal money from me by adding things to my buyers order without explaining it to me or making sure i am aware of the add ons. Without my consent they added an extra 5,000 worth warranty bills to my purchase. This is outrageous!!! Maybe after this comment someone will take the time to contact me. My 2011 Tundra had a problem with the DRLs (daytime running lamps) burning out. The service department went above and beyond to find the fix. I had purchased 3157NA bulbs (at a local auto parts store after being told they were the correct bulbs), but 4157NA was the required bulb. This was not obvious at first due to the bulbs in my truck being badly overheated /burnt. It took some serious diagnotics and time.
Bulb selection for DRLs can be critical. I will get mine at Toyota from now on and avoid the whole fire hazard thing.

Even though they have provided service to my vehicle for a little over two years, they still haven t kept their promise in giving me a used bed cover. Well I admit I did not read these reviews prior or I would not have had this experience. It was the typical 'Bait and Switch' I dealt with the Internet salesman Mark Stoller he sent me the invoice for the car I agreed to purchase at a slightly higher price - I agreed to pay and when I loaded me and my babies in the car to drive the hour to the dealership.. we got there and it was not the car he had agreed to sell ( and it was the same high price. It seems if you read these reviews it is a common thread. My favorite part however is when they tell you at the end when you question it that 'we were going to tell you later' - oh really? When? zero stars. Universally a bunch of liars and cheats. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

Went to this dealership to purchase a car. They were trying to sell me a 2013 Avalon with 48k miles for 24,000 when they were pricing it online for 21,000 with certification. When asked them to price match they price they refused and stated they could give me the same car for 22,000 with certification and 21,000 without certification when online it clearly stated 21,000 WITH CERTIFICATION. After going back and forth they honored the deal they were showing online. The car had a dent and scrape on the passenger side and they stated they will fix it without any charge. The following day I see the car still had the dent and scrape I took it back and they said they never agreed to fix it and if they would fix it I would have to pay. I was unable to see the scrape or scratch the day I took the car with me because after being there for 6 hours I walked out at 9PM. We got into another argument with the dealership Incl. the finance guy Eddie who states his customer love him because he always "helps" them out. WRONG. He is the main one working the numbers and adding on extra stuff to the contract without letting you know and if you ask questions regarding the numbers he gets upset. He tries to clean his hands and BLAME EVERYONE ELSE BUT HIMSELF. He will say "Im just the finance guy" But was very involved in any argument regarding the car price and car scrape/dent. if he is JUST THE FINANCE GUY why is he not minding his business elsewhere.... When I went back to close the deal with them and took my cosigner they stated I showed up without notification when I clearly contacted them to let them know I would be there at 8PM. When I show up my salesman had clocked out for the day so we had to wait for him to get there and Eddie didnt know where my file was. After waiting 2 hours they tried to get me to run my credit all over again and start from scratch when I refused they stated that was the only way and that if I didnt want to run my credit I would have to go back on Monday. Keep in mind I was already at this location 3 times prior for various reasons. I finally decided the car was not worth all the trouble I was going trough with them so I told them I wanted my down payment back and that I would leave their vehicle at the location. Then Eddie stated he was unable to refund my deposit at the time because "ACCOUNTING" was closed and to call back Monday to have them write me a check. I called all day Monday and they transferred my call back and forth ONE GUY also stated that EDDIE my finance guy was the one who is suppose to write me my check. So why did he not do it on Friday? They guy told me "he had no idea why he didnt write me the check Friday" Then he stated he will give me a call back. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. So I spent all day Tues calling them and again I was transferred back and forth until I was able to get a hold of EDDIE who stated my down payment was "NON-REFUNDABLE" when he clearly told ME it was on FRIDAY because the deal never closed. When I asked him WHY he stated "IM JUST THE FINANCE GUY IM JUST DELIVERING THE MESSAGE" I asked to speak to Garret who according to Eddie is the one who has to write my check and I was NEVER able to get a hold of Garret. I finally decided to contact the BBB to get my money back and magically they called saying my check was ready. If it wasn't for me contacting the BBB these people would have stole my money! Stay away from this place. They are thief's they are after your money and they are unorganized, once they think they have the deal they don't care about you! If you do sign a deal with them review your contract CAREFULLY before signing anything!

The only reason I m giving two stars instead of one is because they ve been good to me until today. I took my car in this evening that I bought with them and had a LIFETIME OIL CHANGE as a bonus for buying the car when I did and the guy at the counter asks me for some card that they are required to ask for to verify. Of the 8 years I ve been bringing the car in I ve NEVER been asked for this card . The service guy then tries to shame me for not doing all the service to the car there since I ve had it and I ask him to add a service where they would charge me because I didn t want to do it myself. After the 2 hour wait (no big deal, I ve waited longer) I sign off on the service, I ask him about the charge for the cleaning I asked for and he said he I got you taken care of . I get home and open the hood and nothing was done, he didn t take care of me . How can I even trust that the oil was changed now! This service guy was rude when talking to him, his approach to sell service is to shame customers and now I should feel good about buying another car from them this year - because I am due and looking. Not from this dealership. It s a shame because I felt they were trustworthy until now.

Great experience from Lonestar Toyota in Lewisville!! My initial contact was with Jordan Rebelos in Internet sales. What a knowledgeable and courteous guy, who even picked me up at the airport! My new Prius was detailed and had a full tank of gas when I arrived.
Gary Lindsay in Finance provided good finance options and patiently explained any questions I asked. I drove home in my new car, having had the easiest and best car buying experience!
I'm happy to recommend Jordan and Gary and the other great folks ar Lonestar Toyota, when next you find the need or desire for a new Toyota.

I don t normally give public reviews, but have to make exception for Lone Star Toyota. Found Tacoma I liked. Immediately started reading some older reviews on my cell phone about the dealership. Typical good and some just average, but one caught my attention with regards to under new management . Been there a few times in my 70+ years. Wow! Incredible experience with salesman. Even more impressed when manager was brought in to help get my new truck within my budget. He and I finally came to an equitable compromise. Best run dealership I ve ever experienced. I knew the dealership had to make a profit or they would not stay in business very long. On the other side of fence, he knew I was serious about my budget. In closing, I parted with a new truck, Lone Star parted with extremely surprised and happy client. Five stars out of five definitely warranted.

I took my uncle with me for my first car buying experience because of his keen expertise on the process. He has purchased many cars and told me that he was very happy with the overall sales and financing experience that Scion of Lewisville gave us (which is a HUGE compliment from him). Thomas Mathew was polite and efficient as my sales associate finding me the exact car I wanted and keeping in communication with me prior to the sale. I was thrilled to see Hoss Muleki as our financing advisor since he also helped us out in the shopping process two weeks prior to buying my 2013 Scion tC. Being able to work with two people who were already familiar with my shopping and buying process made the day all that easier and pleasant. So happy with both of them!

On another note, I was very unhappy with a sales director, Preston. He wasn't in on my preliminary meeting two weeks ago and when he stepped into the process today in order to clarify a pricing situation with my uncle, rather than hear my uncle out so that we could explain, he exclaimed that he wouldn't be selling us a car today and asked us to have a nice day. It was the most childish and unprofessional I had ever seen a grown man act, especially one in a job that strives to promote customer satisfaction. Preston's role at Toyota of Lewisville should be greatly scrutinized. Steer away from him at all costs.

Aaron the finance guy and Joe Pulaski delivered 5- star service by far. I went to another Toyota dealership first, where they told me there was no way they could get me into a car because of a repo from many years ago. After telling Aaron why I did not bother to come to his location, he promised he could help me. I decided to give it one more try against my better judgement. Aaron worked magic and not only put me in a car, but a car that I absolutely love and am proud of. Joe was very accommodating and answered all the questions I asked, and on top of that, answered the ones I had yet to think of. They both made sure the process was as seamless for us as possible and that we were happy when we left. We recommend going to this location for a car and asking for them specifically.

Bait and switch. This dealership and salesman Joe Pulaski, succeed in predatory practices and deliberate deception. By pocketing promised taxes to be paid to the State upon the sale, they have left us to come up with the additional $1800.00. Furthermore, they continually pass the buck from one employee to another, then finally ignore correspondence altogether. Apparently, this is par for the course with this dealership. Take your money elsewhere!

I took my Prius to get the hood inspected. Not only was Selena, the customer service professional friendly, she also inspected it and told me everything was fine. Also, she had the hood and external cleaned and returned it to me in a quick and timely manner. Very reassuring to see such service.

Be careful of this dealership as they will get over on you if you not paying attention. First if you go there to buy a car that is advertised online you will not pay that price. They will add more to the price as I was informed by one of the managers. Then they will add other fees or services that you don t need. They handed me documents in a evenlope that was only the service contracts. I went back to confront the finance manager and she said she sent my contact to my email. Upon checking there was no contract emailed to me. After numerous attempts going there and emails never received my contract until I contacted Toyota Finance, which took less than 2 minutes. After finally getting the contract the online manager up the price 2,000 more than the price selling online.
Then I made it clear to purchase the vehicle in 90 days and if I want to finance I will use my bank that much lower rate than theirs 5.99 and my bank 2.99. One the day I went back to consult the finance manager she said all the documents are correct and she gave me a discount?? There was no discount and since I am retired military the military discount was not given even though I was supposed to receive a military discount.
Bottom line this this dealership can t be trusted!!!

Kass and Carlos were able to come down below the Costco price so we could afford it. They also gave us top dollar for our trade in.

Traded in vehicle in to Lone Star Toyota back in March for FJ Cruiser TRD that, after checking the VIN with Toyota, was not TRD at all. I can live with that since I didn't buy it caring if it was TRD or not, but an example of their kind of service.

Anyways, I received notice on November 14th that the car I traded in has been impounded since November 7th and that it is still partially under my name and as far as the wrecker service and impound lot is concerned, still my responsibility. I call Lone Star and they say unapologetically that I need to send in my paperwork to the towing company to prove I don't own it anymore.

Point being, avoid this dealership if at all possible, don't be like me with issues biting me in the butt almost a year later.

My experience started poorly. Arriving as scheduled at 7am, I was told my appointment couldn't be found - it was scheduled using their online website tool. Eventually "the guy that knows the web site" found my appointment.

I was supposed to collect my vehicle at 4pm. At 7pm I was still sitting in reception trying to find out if it was ready.

The diagnostics sucked. They could not replicate the problem, then thought they had and ordered a part (a part I was sure was not going to fix the problem). I waited 2 weeks for the part to be installed. I called and called. I could never get a response to find out when I could have the part installed, apparently my service agent had left the company, and no-one saw fit to take over the job ticket, even after repeated promises that someone would call me back.

I decided to give up on this dealership, and went to Toyota of Fort Worth instead. The tech diagnosed the problem (ordering the correct part - not the part Lewisville thought it was). They ordered the part. Kept me informed of the progress. Installed the part. It fixed the problem. Nothing extraordinary about that, so I'm not sure why Lewisville has such a problem getting it right.

Save yourself some time and hassle and got to Toyota of Fort Worth. It is worth the extra mileage to get the job done right, first time, on time, and professionally.

Matt Davis, the service manager there couldn't even apologize to me first for the poor service I received on my car, where I lost a bolt out of the axle of my car because the techs did not torque to spec, which almost cause me and my family to get into a wreck. All he could do was just argue with me that I was wrong and there was nothing he could do for me. And same thing from the service advisor Robert McMillian. I LEFT W/O MY TUNDRA! they promise to figure out what's wrong and to deliver my truck. in my anger at their stupidity and having been there 3 hours, I left my paperwork copy. they send my truck, with upgraded warranty, with an intelligent person after a couple days, but neglected my paperwork. After taking possession, they contact me notifying me that they screwed up yet again. they had the wrong Vin on the paperwork, so they wanted me to sign more paperwork. I eventually sign and send it back but still no copy for me. I didn't receive my copy till yesterday, 2/20/15, two months after the sale. I love my truck, but I can't recommend this lot, go to a different toyota dealer.

The service department here is horrible. I took my truck in for an alignment and dashboard display issue.
1. They offered a rental and did not mention anything about the fuel costs. When I got charged and asked why they said it was on my paper work. They never gave me paperwork for the rental.
2. Picked up my truck was told my part for the dash had to be ordered and would take 3 weeks to get there. I go back 3 weeks later the part was never ordered.
3. They said my alignment was fixed. It wasnt the paperwork was written with the wrong side as the issue.

Needless to say took my truck to original dealer where I purchased it, Toyota Vandegriff. They did an excellent job. Gave me paperwork for the rental went over everything I would be charged for. Which was 0. They had my dash part within 3 days. They fixed the alignment properly.
