Great response time. Had AC furnace and water heater installed. Did a great job. Had a couple of minor issues but they got those worked out. Stayed til it was done and we were satisfied. Good knowledge of products. Will use again.

Two weeks ago, TLC installed a new, state-of-the-art mini-split HVAC system in my home. It is quiet and very efficient and I will save a lot of money on my utility bills. Bart and his install crew worked as a team and did a great job; they were steady, polite and efficient. When they ran the service line on the exterior wall, they found that the bedroom unit sat directly under a rain spout on the roof. The next day, I saw that the exterior line was not optimal, so I called my TLC rep, then met with a supervisor to share my concerns. He scheduled a tech to come back and move the exterior line. Chico (Renaldo A.) came to the house and we discussed what would be the best solution. He was able to re-route the line and I am now completely happy with the entire job. TLC provides the best products and service in town! They listen and respond quickly and are the only company I use for HVAC and plumbing. I am especially happy with the work provided by Chico, Bart and his install team. Thank you, TLC!!!

I called needing help with electrical issue. I was transferred to a woman. She was so rude I will never give this company a dime. Second time trying to use TLC. First time tried to charge $800 for regular water heater. Purchased heater at home depot for $325. Paid someone to put it in for $100. What a rip off!

I was surprised they were able to get me an appointment on the next day. The technician, Joseph Gabaldon, was very professional, polite and thorough. He asked questions to assertain what the problem was and immediately got the proper tool and fixed the slow flo toilet. He checked the other drains to be sure none of them were affected. He was very considerate not to make any mess. He explained his diagnosis and made sure I understood everything he wrote on the invoice explaining what he did. I will definitely use TLC again and I hope to get Joseph.
Overpriced, dishonest and took 8 days b4 they would come out and replace a boiler in January of the coldest winter on record. Made promises for a pan (underneath boiler) wiring up 3 existing thermostats, etc, but backed out of each promise saying it was too expensive. After guaranteeing the work and including it in "estimate". Lied about the capacity of the boiler, something we didn't figure out until an honest hvac repairman came out to fix the various leaks they had left. One of the employees stood outside and smoked on the patio and threw his cigarette butts onto the patio and left them there. All in all a 13k fiasco perpetrated by rude, dishonest and slovenly people.
We can't thank you enough for sending James Crespin for assistance with a crawlspace leak on Oct 30. It was freezing cold that night and he showed up on time and got right to work. The problem was bigger than could be rectified that night but James got on the phone and got all the additional technicians scheduled so I didn't have to call back the next day. We're so grateful for James' "first class" service both on-site and via telephone follow up.
Chico arrived on time. He switched my heating system over to cooling. He checked out the whole system and asked me if I had any problems or questions about the system. He was very polite and very professional.
Poor customer service. they way over charged for the job they did. it was also done with out proper permits and inspections.
Chico worked his butt off to get my furnace replaced. He did a great job and our heater works better than ever.
Jose came for my annual a/c inspection and start up and did an excellent job. I let him know I had water leaking from the A/C intake vent and he hunted on the roof until he found the problem. A gap had opened up. He screwed the duct work down again, taped and then caulked. But not only did he do the gap, he did the entire length of the duct work to be sure it wouldn't leak. He went above and beyond what was expected. He was very professional and helpful, as have been all the techs that have come out to work on my HVAC.

Called TLC for an emergency issue that was quoted by another company at an outrageous amount. Isaac came out and assessed the situation. He was extremely professional and fixed the problem in less than an hour at a rate 6 times lower than quoted by other companies. He provided information on the problem and gave a thorough explanation on why it occurred. I will definitely make this my go to company for issues.
Kudos to Jay Judge and Carlos Ramirez for saving the day when my air conditioner broke down! Jay got a technician out to my house the same day I called after 3 other companies weren t going to be able to come until next week. One company did come the day before but they didn t have the part on hand and it would be 2 weeks before they could get it and come install a new motor. Carlos came over, diagnosed the unit and said it was the motor and he had several in stock at the warehouse! He went and got the motor, came back and installed it and my air is up and running!! It s 98 degrees outside right now, so I m very thankful. Jay and Carlos were very professional and caring. I will definitely use TLC again!

The technician, Will, patiently listened while I explained the problem with my disposal, he assessed the issue, and explained what he was doing and what he was looking for as the potential cause. woke up to my water heater leaking at 5 am! and what they claim 24 hr service is BS waited on line 45 mins being told I will connected to the operator!! This place is a joke!! I would not recommend them and when I asked why that happened they were rude about it and said it could be a number of different reasons?? No sympathy! attitude was negative!! TLC is one of the largest plumbing companies in Albuquerque. They have a wide range of capabilities and specialists in each area. After buying a new home, I have been very happy with all of their work. Quinn, Manuel, Zeke and Anthony performed general plumbing, system troubleshooting, water softener installation and drain clearing. All of them were on-time, knowledgeable and efficient. Best of all, they worked together to get the job done in a timely manner. They and their managers deserve my complements.
Scott came by late on a Friday, 18 August, to address some mechanical issues noted in our coolers. Just so you know on 2/21/20 at 4:50pm......your reckless driver cut me off after they exited off Coors north, they immediately went far left and cut me off right in front of the Ouray light......I spun out and they took off.......this is unacceptable

Contacted TLC Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical on Friday (11/13/2020) to schedule a (maintenance) tankless water heater system flushing. Ms 'Loretta' was able to schedule me for Monday (11/23/2020). The procedure was performed by Mr Antonio Lujan and he was superb! He arrived on time, was professional and friendly, explained the process and answered all of my questions. Antonio even addressed MY wanting to have a water softener system installed to address this area's mineral laden ("hard") water. The 'flush' procedure took just about an hour. Easy..Peasy!! Thank you, Mr. Lujan!

Don't believe the price they quote over the phone. We were told over the phone that it would be $110.00 for them to clean our drain. I removed the toilet and cleared everything out of the way to make it easy for them to run the drain on the side of the house where the clog was. It was not an emergency and they could not give a time they would be at our house so my wife took off work and waited at home most of the day. When they arrived at our house in the early afternoon the guys were polite and professional and did a good job I will give them credit for that, but before they started my wife told them that she was told $110.00 on the phone but the guys at our house told my wife the girl that answers the phone should not have given us a price that it would be $196.00. The job could not have been any easier. They ran the drain where I removed the toilet and ran the main where there is a cleanout in the front yard. They didn't have to mess with the toilet I reset it myself. They insisted they run a camera in the drain I think to run up the price. I feel they took advantage of my wife since she was the only one home and after waiting most of the day just wanted the drain open. I am in a service business and if I miss quote a job I stick to my quoted price unless I run into additional unforeseen problems. This job went smoothly with no problems. I don't feel TLC is a very honest company and will never use or recommend this company.

We had a clogged upstairs toilet that a plumber from a different company was unable to fix, but upon the recommendation from a friend we called TLC and requested Chantry Mower. They sent him out to our home within a few hours and he fixed it within an hour. He was polite, professional, and a pleasure to work with!
I have used TLC for various projects through the years, and I have always been pleased with their responsiveness, integrity, and explanations. Recently, I selected TLC to install refrigerated air with my existing furnace. This project was fairly major and involved several TLC employees. Each one, from the sales rep to the electrician to the helpers, was very helpful and skilled. I was especially impressed with the primary installer, Carlos Ramirez, who worked extra hard to correct some problems that resulted from some of my existing equipment. Carlos went over and above to research and resolve at least two issues that interfered with the installation but were not directly related to the current installation. Some companies would have merely apologized and left. I appreciate the way Carlos took on the challenge and saw it through to completion. Such dedication and willingness to research and learn is what ultimately makes an excellent technician who can troubleshoot quickly and accurately. TLC, you should be very proud of your exceptional team. Thank you for a job well done!

Well, over the years these guys have provided great service (including telling me when I didn't need service and save a buck!), but this last time they truly provided great service.
I was about to leave for overseas when an issue arose on a Sunday. Even though it wasn't an emergency, I tried to have them come that day, before leaving the country, but to save me the overtime fees, they made arrangements to a) come while I wasn't home and b) call and TEXT(!) with updates, and then c) proceeded to independently troubleshoot what turned out to be a complicated and potentially expensive repair. The plumber Mike H took the time to explain in great detail over the phone what he had to do, and then afterwards they mailed me a detailed handwritten receipt.

Had a broken hose bibb on one outside spigot and another one didn't have a bibb at all. Both needed replacing. Shannon did the work (including draining my pump so he could work on them) in just one hour. Marvelous!!! I feared it would take hours and that he might not be able to complete the project. My house is VERY old :)
re BreezeAir Evaporative Cooler: Mixed Review.
Positive: Quick response and installation, Good crew, very efficient unit, it cools very well.
Negative: Controls and features are a little different than standard cooler. Be sure you understand and want the features you are getting. Be sure that the unit is suitable for your home and the area you want to cool. Noisier than I expected. Response to our concerns are pretty slow. Would I do it again? I dont know. BreezeAir is very expensive. We are getting used to it and will live it with it for the next 6-8 years
Extremely pleased with my experience with TLC. Sought out a quote for a new furnace and was pleasantly surprised at how competitive and in-line the quote was with other companies. Riley called 30 minutes ahead of my appointment for a quote and came out to review my current setup and quote a few options. As soon as I decided that I wanted to move forward, Riley booked the appointment for the next open time. The day of the install, Brian showed up on time with his team and got right to work. My furnace is in my attic, so he and his team worked straight through for nine hours to get it installed. A few items were identified along that way that Brian felt should be addressed to bring the furnace up to code, so Riley stopped by to quote the additional work. I appreciated the communication and professionalism of everyone through the entire project. I'm highly pleased with my new furnace and the care that went into the work. We had a backed up line, we couldn't shower, bathe, or flush our toilets without sewage water coming up the shower drain. Aaaand to make matters worse, it was late at night. We called TLC, and our service provider Simon Garcia arrived promptly within 30 mins. He was highly knowledgeable and efficient, knew exactly what to do, how to fix it, and in less than an hour, our drains were working again! (Hallelujah) And to top it off, he was also very kind, respectful, and polite during all of our exchanges. Two toddlers asleep in the room next to where the problem was, and he tiptoed around the house and I could tell he was trying to be quiet, haha, later found out, he's also a Dad, and gets it. I seldom write reviews unless I'm really impressed. Simon was awesome. Already plugged his number into my phone should something like this (heaven forbid) happen again.

James believed in us when our landlord didn't. Real stand up guy. Funny too. Probably a good plumber, but we didn't actually have an issue, just a cheap faucet with a temperament.

I hadn't used them in a number of years. I thought I could save money with some other folks. (I didn't.) And the last guy that came to my house from a plumbing service in an unmarked truck looked like he sold plasma for a living.
So when I needed an annual flushing of my tank-less water heater, I called TLC. A properly uniformed and knowledgeable guy (Leroy) came on time and took care of the service in a thorough and professional manner. Was it cheap? No, but neither is anybody else. And they leave you with the feeling that you have been well taken care of. That's worth it to me.
We had a faucet that needed to be replaced because of a bad leak. We had already purchased the new faucet and called TLC to see if they could come out to install it. It was 1 pm on a Friday afternoon. We were told by an individual that talked down to us as if we were children that it was Friday and that the plumbers had already gone home for the weekend. What happened to 24/7 service that they advertise? Called Albuquerque Plumbing and they had someone out within the hour.
My sprinkler valve broke on the weekend, causing my yard to flood. I called TLC Sunday afternoon, one hour later a technician called me back and he was at my house 30min after our call. 1.5 hrs total response time on a Sunday, pretty outstanding! Chris, the technician was straight forward, located the valve within 15 min, turned off the water to my yard while allowing the water supply to the house to continue. He suggested to contact an irrigation company during the week so I would save some money. TLC billed me one hour for the job. I am happy with the work performed and especially Chris communication and his approach.
Brian Richards was such a friendly and competent repair technician. He quickly diagnosed the issue with our furnace and explained what the problem was in ways we could understand. We are selling our house and have taped his card to our furnace should the new owners need someone as helpful and knowledgeable as Brian Richards.
TLC replaced my leaking water heater and did an outstanding professional job, same day. Tech Jude Gonzales inspected my 15 year old water heater and determined that it was time for replacement. He advised me that some of my venting and other aspects were not up to code and explained exactly what could be done to make it right. He completed the entire installation in one day and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to get TLC and Jude back in the future. Nice to know we have a company like TLC in Albuquerque who can handle just about any homeowner issue.
Had the dryer vent cleaned. Doug was courteous and understanding when I had to go kennel the puppy. He did an excellent job. The price was very reasonable. Will definitely use TLC for this every year!

The day before Thanksgiving and my regular plumber canceled on a repair for a toilet. I called several other plumbers but no one could squeeze me in. I finally called TLC and explained my problem, and the dispatcher told me they would be able to fit me in at the end of the day. to my delight, Irvin was near my home and came over around 1pm. He quickly repaired the faulty toilet. Thank you so much TLC you saved the flush.
Had an excellent service call from Terence. He was polite, responsible and asked questions before continuing to install the toilet I purchased to ensure I would be satisfied. He removed the previous toilet and boxes that held the new toilet. The toilet was installed without any issues and it has been working flawlessly for the past two weeks. Thank you. I chose TLC because of the great reviews from others. They are the most expensive in town, but it seemed like they were still the right choice to get the job done right, so I decided to hire them to come out and service my furnace and winterize my swamp cooler. I am sorry to say that I could not have been more disappointed with my service, or the customer service after the fact. If I could give 0 stars I would.
The technician got my swamp cooler winterized very quickly. However, when it came to servicing my furnace, he flat out refused to touch it. He said that the safety didn t look right, that it had been rigged up in an unprofessional manner, and that he wasn t sure if it was safe to start, saying that he wouldn t touch it, literally. He tried to convince me to buy a new forced air furnace, which would have costed $3200 to $3400.
Although he was only at my property for 30 minutes, maybe less, and had refused to do what I had hired him to do, he still tried to charge me the full $120 for an hour of service. When I complained he gave me like an $8 discount. With tax it was still like $116 to not even get the work done.
I called around to other plumbers, thinking maybe my furnace was broken, and ended up finding someone from a much smaller company to come out the next day. He had my furnace running within 10 minutes, and he had a wand to check for gas leaks, to ensure that my furnace was safe. He only charged me for a half hour, and the rate was cheaper than what TLC charged me when their technician refused to do the work.
I called and left a message with TLC about my experience, requesting at least a partial refund, because their technician showed up without the necessary tools and refused to do the job, causing me to have to hire another plumber to do the work I had paid them to do. They never returned my call.
For what they charge, I really expected better. At the bare minimum, I expected them to at least do the work I had hired them for, not try to sell me a $3400 heater that I didn t need.
TLC has done repairs at our house on various plumbing issues twice in the last couple of weeks. They were always on time (always called 30 minutes before arriving), did wonderful work, and were very reasonably priced! I moved here from a smaller community where we didn't have access to excellent, fast, reasonably priced plumbing repair...I tell you TLC is the dream plumbing company! Everyone we met has been professional, personable, and really helpful. TLC rocks and I'll use them again and again!
