I had 2 unrelated issues in the SAME week that needed to be taken care of, hot water tank and heating/ac unit.. From the START, with Amanda taking my phone call, so pleasant, and being completely transparent about when the appointment could be made, what related costs I could expect, to Mike H arriving promptly Monday morning and identifying the issue with my hot water tank and even taking an additional 20 minutes to do everything he could to make sure that problem had been fully resolved. He was so thorough in explanation and expectations. The next evening, my house was struck by lightening, blowing multiple outlets and electronics, including the AC motherboard! I contacted Mike since he was so kind to me the day before, who reached out to Cody right away and they were able to place me on the calendar quickly to be seen. Cody had an opportunity in his schedule to come hours before originally thought, he called and asked if he could come out without disruption to what I might already have going on since my issue wasn't isolated to just what his expertise was needed for. He was kind, very thorough, able to diagnose the issue quickly. He made suggestions and allowed me to decide the best course of action for resolve. I don't wish my bad luck of items on anyone, but this company really went above and beyond to reduce my anxiety of the situation and handled everything so professionally. They have EARNED my business from here on out! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Shannon R. was very professional and prompt and he also had no problem showing me how to drain my water heater correctly and he also told me that i could call him anytime with questions about the water heater and he also did a fantastic job fixing the plumbing underneath my kitchen sink and i also might add that he was very understanding of the situation with my wife working from home as she was on a conference call and he was very caring as to not make much noise as to her work so i give Shannon 5 stars and thank you TLC!

TLC and their group of people that US electrical Corp. Has been working with has been a great bunch of guys to work with on the project.

Chad is exceptionally professional and knowledgeable about electricity and machinery. He installed two bathroom exhaust fans on Thursday, 3/14/2019, and they are BEAUTIFUL! Highly recommend Chad for all residential/commercial electrical work. Highly recommend TLC Plumbing and Utility for most of household repairs!

After an initial rough start, TLC reached out to us, were much more responsive and solved the problem that no other vendors could help with.

They earned our business and a ton of my respect. Their installer, Cliff Sena was amazing from start to finish.

Although the initial estimate process was a bit slower and not what I had hoped for from a communication standpoint, the final product was well done and executed flawlessly. I am 100% willing to say that my initial impressions were not true, and I would highly recommend TLC, based on the final product and follow through, even given a bumpy start.

We had TLC out to our house on July 8th to give us an estimate for a new AC in our home. The gentleman arrive at our house at 11:00 am, as opposed to after 3 as promised by scheduling.

Promised to email us a bid on the 8th or 9th, bear in mind that we have no ac and it is essentially a heat wave.

My wife followed up, after we didn t hear anything, on the 9th. I followed up via email, with no response. Sad that we have to basically beg to just get a project estimate.

It is now the 12 th, we have called and tried several more times, with no response.

Manuel did an excellent job installing my water softener. He found a plumbing solution that allowed the softener to be installed inside and kept me informed throughout the procedure. He also fixed a bathtub spout free of charge. I was extremely satisfied!

Great service! Prompt and professional. Fixed a very hard to access problem.

Accidentally ripped a hose bib off my house and Shannon from TLC came out in less than an hour. He was able to repair and replace it without having to cut through any walls. He was pleasant and professional, got the the job done quickly, and was very knowledgeable. Best plumber I ve used in Albuquerque. Highly recommend Shannon from TLC!

Manny and Jude did an awesome job fixing a water pipe under a concrete floor. We had a huge mess on our hands and they promptly got us an estimate the day of the disaster, then got the water back on the next day. Worth every cent!

Lukas R was super helpful in checking our furnace and getting it set up for the winter. He was very thorough, took his time, and made sure that we were happy with his work.

Great job fixing my sink. Quick, efficient, and helpful information.

This was so easy. I called and made an appointment. The worker showed up on time and installed my new toilet in less than an hour. He was so fast, and there is a one hour minimum, that he also replaced a cracked hose bib.

I will definitely use TLC again.

James Crespin did an excellent and thorough job on our repair. He was professional and explained each step of the process. He explained next steps and was efficient. Will definitely use tlc and have James out when we need more work done.

A leak from my drip system surfaced at 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday - failing to fix it on my own followed by exploring options which in turn led to call TLC at 6:00. At 7:15 James Crespin was at my door to assess the situation. His service is excellent and beyond and I feel confident the problem will be fixed on Monday. He called his office to ask them to find a spot to fix the leak on Monday so I did not have to be without water for too long. He showed me how to turn the water off and on at the street and even left me the tool to accomplish the task. He told me to call him if I had questions or concerned. I am impressed!

James and Josh were awesome! Got here early and fixed the problem fast. Both were curious and professional. Definitely recommend TLC

I haven't used the service, but their drivers are really safe. That kind of detail shows that a company is being run right from the top down.

Eric H. was friendly and very knowledgeable about the new Breezair cooler he was installing for me. He was able to answer all my questions on it. I really appreciate the quick service replacing my broken traditional swamp cooler and spending 3 hours on the roof when it was 98 degrees outside.

Excellent experience with TLC. Needed a water softener ASAP and TLC was able to come and install a Kinetico system first thing the next morning. The system is great and I appreciated the fact that in 5-10 minutes Jay was able to tell me all I needed to know, including the price. No games and no time wasting -- like some of the other high priced systems available in ABQ. Thanks also to Rob for excellent service. BF

The price for a brine float for the water softener was what we needed. Helpful, friendly and the price was reasonable

When you have a plumbing issue in your house, especially a water issue, you really want to know you're in good hands. I can't speak to the price of TLC, as I'm not from Albuquerque originally and didn't shop around to fix my issue, but what I can say is that the care they took with the leak under the slab in my kitchen was 2nd to none.

Initially, we had Jeff T. come out for the leak detection. He was extremely thorough and by the time he left, we had a very good idea of exactly where the leak was in our kitchen. Rudy M. came the next day (and every subsequent day for 5-days) to work the fix itself. I can't say enough good things about Rudy. He was always communicating with me and my family to make sure we knew when he was coming, what his thought process was, and how he was moving along with the fix. He was professional and always willing to help with any questions we have (along with his additional helper Gabiel). I'm glad I have Rudy's business card because I know I have someone now that I can trust when we have issues that need to be solved and done so in a timely and efficient manner.

I may not sway anyone one way or another and I believe TLC has a reputation for being a bit more on the expensive side, but all I can say is that we are very satisfied with the team that came and the work they did for us was exceptional. Thank you TLC, Rudy, Gabiel and Jeff.

TLC installed our 1400sqft home with 5 mini split units. BART C was leading the team that finished the job in just 2 1/2 days. Bart was an excellent communicator and was very thorough. I felt like he went the extra mile with his work and clean up. They even took care of a few things that I didn t realize we re a part of the job, which was really awesome! I think TLC is great but I think that the team assigned to the job gives TLC a good name and reputation.

Joseph was very nice and professional. He advised us of our options and worked quickly but thoroughly, all the while answering our questions. We always use TLC because their staff is. Very well trained. Max and Cherie Kiehne

TLC has provided timely, quality, and professional services for me for the past several years. I have found their technicians to be on time and within the window they provide, respectful of your home and property, careful to clean up after the finish their work, and have always resolved the issues they were asked to perform. Their customer service department is responsive and they and the technician keep you informed of their status. We are very pleased with TLC to provide our electrical, plumbing and HVAC needs.

Johnny Ray is a first class guy who deserves more than 5 stars. He makes TLC look good. I had what I consider to be a difficult project and I was concerned about getting it done because my wife is scheduled for surgery Wednesday. Johnny quickly made my worries disappear as he spent the afternoon in the hot sun making sure everything was perfect before he left. He was pleasant, courteous, and professional. Next time I have a problem I know who to call.

The guy that came out, James Crespin, was nice, professional, and quick. He did a great job, we were without water for a whole 24 hours due to 2 plumbers not being able to come before they closed at 5pm. James came after hours so we wouldn't have to be without water for even longer.

If the people driving pickup truck "tkp 181" can't even secure a bucket down enough not to fall of their truck and hit my car on i-25 I probably wouldnt trust them enough to secure hvac pipes

Had a backup in our kitchen sink drain. The technician Will S. snaked the line and put a camera down there. He checked the main line as well because there was a little standing water. He snaked and scoped the line and figured out we had some flat spots that were not properly pitched. There wasn't much he could do about that but went above and beyond telling me tips to avoid backups in the future. Would highly recommend TLC!

One of the TLC techs was great unfortunately I had to call 4 times to get my swamp cooler running last time was today because water was not filling appropriately. I saw TLC came out AGAIN however still not fixed . we have to go out every 2 hours and fill cooler. Still..... we tried to fix ourselves but could not open swamp panels ...so tightly secured from previous tlc week's service.

MY FURNANCE NEEDED TO BE TURNED ON. MY HUSBAND HAD JUST PASSED AWAY AND I WAS FRANTIC AS 24 DEGREE WEATHER WAS TO HAPPEN AND IT WAS FRIDAY EVENING. I CALLED TLC AND THEY WERE THERE IN HALF AN HOUR. I WAS OVERJOYED. THE SERVICE MEN WERE SO KIND AND THE LADY ON THE PHONE WAS THE BEST. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.

Will was very professional and came up with a fine solution for the flange.

We had a complicated problem with an old but dependable furnace. Another repair company started the process of fixing, but it didnt work -- In the coldest time of the year, I might add. We called TLC, and had a repairman the next day. Frank Nieto was courteous, competent and determined to warm that frigid end of our house! He fixed the problem, warmth was restored, and confidence in TLC, high! Prompt, reasonable and effective!

Doug Cuffley came out to fix my clogged drain and he was so fast and did a great job! Plus he was really courteous and professional, a great guy! Because of him I will definitely use TLC again and recommend them to friends and family!

I have to say I am blown away by TLC. Brian Richards brought a team down to our house to switch our swamp cooler to refrigerated air. He answered all my questions and helped me understand what we needed. Him and his crew worked hard, fast and everyone was so professional and kind. Will definitely be calling Brian again in the future!

Water heater broke at 1pm. They were there by 3:30 and finished in a few hours. Exceptional service and the two employees that installed the new unit were very respectful and professional.

They have been competent and have presented viable options whenever we have had them out.

The best plumbers, HVAC techs and electricians in the city. If you want it done right the first time and done today you need to call TLC.

I recently purchased new appliances and when they were installed the washer didn t work. The installer told me it was a plumbing issue (although water was coming from the wall).

I called TLC on my moms recommendation. They were professional and friendly on the phone. They sent James Crespin to my house. He was great to work with. The company kept me informed about his arrival (a problem with the late installers who I had to rearrange my day around with attitude from their phone center) James went above the call of duty trying everything within his scope to help me with my issue.

I highly recommend TLC and that James is a keeper!!!

Punctural, courteous, high quality. My 17 year old 50 gallon tank hot water heater went out. I called several other companies who indicated they could get to me in a few days. The TLC folks promptly responded and scheduled a time to repair or replace right away. I had to replace this aging tank and TLC did a fantastic job. While replacing my hot water heater I asked the cost to replace my ~35 year old furnace, the cost was not so bad and we scheduled to replace that within the week. Overall I paid ~$6600 for both the furnace and water heater. I thought the water heater cost was a bit high but the furnace replacement seemed reasonable. The quality of work received, the courtesy and professionalism of their technicians was 'par excellence'. They may cost a little bit of extra money (for the water tank) but well worth it. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

I have used the kinetico water systems for over 25 years. Jay is really helpful and knowledgable about the systems.

First, may I say TLC has never performed work for me that wasn't above average! They need more than 5 stars. Just sayin'! The best purchase I make each year is the service agreement with TLC. It is money well-spent and gives me peace of mind. My furnace would not start up this autumn. I live in a mobile home and it can get cold quickly. Leonard came out (with Julio) and found the problem, got the part, and my home was warm and toasty! The two of them were super nice and professional. May I also give a thanks to Steven who came out the day before to shut down my cooler. The technicians at TLC are terrific and highly skilled. When I call, the people I talk to are also amazing. THANK YOU!!!

Alberto Aguirre was wonderful! Extremely knowledgable, kind and efficient. He helped me get the correct products to meet my needs and installed them quickly. I highly recommend TLC. Their scheduling is prompt and friendly. Everyone is a professional there.

Wow! Santiago with TLC was an absolute professional! Not only did he fix our plumbing issues, which turned out to be minor despite what we thought, but he inspected the line with that sewer scope and took the time to explain to me more about the type of plumbing we had for our home. Then, since he didn t preform any major work he also - didn t charge us a dime- for all of his time and advice. We will be using TLC from now on! Thank you Santiago!

I have called TLC twice. The first time was to ask how much it costs to do a diagnostic. They said $109 to come out. I called mutiple other companies offering $80 or less to come out and if I use there service the $80 will be used towards the fix.
I then found out my problem with another company and didn t like their price, so I called someone else to diagnose it again and rename a price. I wanted to make sure it was the best price so I called some companies asking what the usual price is for this problem. I then called TLC again and they said they will not tell me unless I pay the $109 for them to diagnose it. I ve had the problem checked by mutiple companies. TLC is a scam buisness and I would never recommend them to anyone. They should at least give someone the decency for a rough estimate over the phone.

I have been using TLC for the last 12 years and they have taken very good care of me. Whether it was for a heater/air conversion, or a plumbing issue, they have always been professional, prompt and efficient with their services. I recently converted to Central Air and again, their staff was kind, knowledgeable and efficient from the first phone call until completion. I highly recommend TLC and would give them more than 5 stars if that was an option.

I've never had a bad experience with TLC. I've used them for plumbing concerns in the past. Today I lost power in several rooms. After some troubleshooting, I decided to call TLC. The electrician, Dakota, was at my door in less than three hours. It's Saturday of Labor Day weekend! He found the problem quickly, fixed it and a few other miscellaneous problems. Super friendly and professional. I'll happily pay weekend rates for great service!

Mike J and Simone were clean, efficient, helpful pleasant, and very professional - in the true use of that word. We were in a bind and TLC helped us out the same day. I recommend them highly.

Placed service request on web site late in the evening. Received prompt response from on call and made arrangements for service appt. Santiago Baca was prompt and extremely pleasant to deal with. Made fast diagnostic of problem and presented options for repair. Because of his advice I was able to save money on the repairs. Fast, friendly, reasonably priced....what else can you ask? Based on all the sterling reviews, I am sure that for the most part TLC does good work. However, I was scheduled to have a plumber come out today between 12 and 5 to deal with a substantial root intrusion. At 5:05 when no one had shown up I called the office. Receptionist said she would check with the tech??? Tech called at 5:15??? Is this the time to tackle a job like this. I waited all afternoon from 12 to 5 ...If you are going to be late...is it too much to ask to have enough courtesy to call and update the customer? When I initially called I informed them that this was a substantial root incursion and that I wanted it cleared..the source located and repaired. I informed them this was not an emergency since all other drains are working fine. Is after five in the evening the right time to tackle this job?... BTW no one offered any type of apology for being late and not even attempting to update the customer. TLC might be taking on too much of a workload at the expense of customer service.

They service my business facility and I have always found them to be reliable, fast and always take care of the problem. From a leaky sink to some major repairs to my HVAC unit. They are not the cheapest guy in town but as the saying goes you get what you pay for.

We are, in large part, customers of TLC because of Wes Hollaway. He had done work on our 1939 home prior to our purchasing it in 2016, and he has continued to help us troubleshoot and improve the plumbing, heating, and cooling on the main house and the casita.

What is it about Wes that makes him stand out not only in his field, but in the area of all contractors and service companies? He is highly skilled and knowledgable in his field. He is an excellent troubleshooter and is also always willing to explore and explain different options to us. He is respectful and kind when he is on our property and in our home. I have observed him mentoring co-workers/apprentices who have come with him to our home and he is consistently respectful to them and (as two educators ourselves) we recognize his distinct ability to teach and mentor others. In fact, we have learned quite a bit ourselves from Wes.

The truth is, Wes is someone who we trust and depend on. We feel fortunate that he is someone we can call when we need his help and expertise.

I have always used TLC for projects big and small. Here's why.... The friendly professionalism, amazing communication, and excellent work. From the office staff, to the service professionals... They can't be beat. Trust is the name of the game when it comes to having people work on and in your home. TLC has never disappointed. Just had Reynaldo and Carlos work on my AC unit. Last Thursday, we came home after lunch to find a spring bubbling up in the middle of our front yard. Called TLC and James arrived quickly to assess the problem (50 year old galvanized pipe breaks!). He and Cesar arrived the next day to dig a new trench and lay down a new water line. They worked SO hard and kept at it until they could connect the line so we had water for the weekend. It took several days to finish the project, but they did a great job, and did I mention they worked SO hard? This is why we always call TLC. : )

TLC fixed my heater and took time to help me understand the puzzling thermostat. So thankful to have Carlos R and Robert Z help me so I have heat again! Highly recommend TLC Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning!

Always have has great service from TLC. They responded very quickly to my boiler issues and determined it was beyond repair. A new system was put in 2 days later by Chico who was responsive and professional in all aspects. Would highly recommend him and TLC.

Shannon Rushing was the tech that came to help me. Snowy cold snap and my pipes froze and burst. He was respectful, professional, and explained all repairs needed and why. Did the work quickly and never once complained about the below freezing temperatures he had to work in. Within 2 hours I had water again and felt like I hit the jackpot! TLC has hired the best plumber ever! Highly recommend using TLC for all your needs they deal with. Shannon made a difficult situation seem painless.

Nick was very professional and met all expectations for our pump service review and maintenance. He left us in good shape for the future and the service call met all expectations. This sump pump at our home has been a challenge and I believe TLC knows the best approach for unusual situations like ours.

I want to thank Brian Richards and Derek Searles for the service provided with my swamp cooler install. They both went above and beyond. Brian confronted home depot for some parts that they should have provided and then they made the trip to pick those parts up. The level of knowlegde and expertise was very impressive and they both provided service worth 5 stars and beyond.

My friend called to have her heater turned on and her cooler shut down in October, and has to wait until Thursday to get it turned on. Apparently was on a wait list, if I would have known, I would have called another company and would have had it done within a week. Went through a snow storm and now freezing Temps. Just glad she has a space heater.

Of course, the furnace in our house went out on a freezing holiday weekend. I needed a Sunday repair- TLC was AMAZING! I called a 24-hour desk and provided a brief summary of my issue... a tech called back within 10 minutes to arrange arrival at our home within the hour. Leo gave us the bad news about needing a new board and having to order that part, but discussed options and possible good and bad outcomes of this repair. The next day, FIRST THING, a call from Leo to say that he found the part and was on the way to our home to try it out. Repair completed, testing done, heat in the house in less than 24 hours. Leo was very responsive, communicative and professional. This business does exactly what is says it's going to do- that's refreshing!!!

From the moment we contacted TLC to get the estimate to put in our refrigerated air, we have had an amazing experience every step of the way. Riley was awesome and helped us pick out the right size unit for our house and budget and went over all the financing options (which are also spectacular and very helpful, so we could get what we needed and fit within our monetary needs). The installation team was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Also have to give a major shout out to Martin for finding and fixing electrical issues that a different company left behind that could have caused issues (repair work done per a contract with our lot landlord). He fixed it up and made sure we were safe and secure and got our ac unit up and running in no time. Highly recommend TLC for any plumbing and electrical work you need, they are the best around!!!

I have used TLC for everything in my home that I have owned for the past 20 years. I just replaced 2 hot water heaters and swamp coolers. Adam in HVAC has done a great job and even replaced cement pads for the coolers. Carlos Robles in Install has been responsive and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone!

We had a fast leak (~100gallons/min) in our main line to the house during the weekend (emergency hours). They were prompt and considerate, providing a solution so that my family would have running water and then saved the non-critical tasks of the job (repair the sidewalk, patch a broken irrigation pipe, fill hole, etc.) for the upcoming weekday. The team was professional and knowledgeable, and will be getting our continued business for any plumbing care of our family home!

We had an expansion talk that failed. James Crespin responded and did an excellent job, removing the failed talk and replacing it with a new one. I appreciated his professionalism and highly recommend them if you have an emergency problem and need help in a hurry!

Needed anchor bolts on toilet replaced. TLC plumber was very professional and did a great job. What I really appreciate is that he protected my floors throughout the repair and cleaned up thoroughly after he was done. Even replace the fill tubing with a braided stainless line, which went above and beyond. Great work at a very reasonable price!

Great, great, great cleared my mainline a week or so ago with no problems gentlemen Douglas was fantastic.

On Saturday afternoon, I was stranded on Paseo del Norte and the bridge westbound out of gas and Jerry was kind enough to stop and help put gas in my vehicle. The traffic was extremely busy and he took time to go get gas, come back and put it in my car. Great to know there are people like Jerry out there! Thank you !

As I type this I am realizing that this is the first negative review of a company that I have ever composed.

I am hoping that my service today was not typical. I called their emergency line for a plumbing issue. I understand that the weekend after hours is a busy time. However I never received a call from a technician in the time that it took for a separate company to come and repair my plumbing issue. It is very disappointing because TLC is usually the first company that I think of when I need help for a repair issue.

The pump on my swamp cooler stopped working on Thursday evening. I decided on Saturday that it was not working at all since the temperature inside my home hovered at 88 degrees until after midnight.
On Sunday morning I called TLC to have someone come out on that day even though it is a day for regular work. Within possible 30 minutes Travis called, told me he would be at my home within the hour and then appeared at my door.

He was courteous, as usual dressed professionally in the companies uniform, as well as professional. He immediately went to the roof to see what the problem was. He changed the pump, checked the unit and was gone within 10-15 minutes.

I could not have asked for better service! All I can say is "thank you so much for such a wonderful experience."
