I have used TLC a handful of times and they have been amazing everytime, but I wanted to leave this review because yesterday my phone died and I got a little lost trying to find a auto repair shop, the only building I could recognize within a mile was this TLC, so I went in and asked the receptionist for help and goodness she was awesome. She was so kind and understanding and really helped me getting to where I needed to go! So the point of this review is, TLC is not only great at fixing my garbage disposal, but they are filled with amazing down to earth people. Thank you guys for everything!!!!!

TLC is always ultra professional. A bit expensive but well worth it. Michael Simms checked our furnace and made adjustments and suggestions that no one in 10 years has made. Great work!
We woke at 3:00 this morning to a flood. Our water heater had given up the ghost. A call to TLC and Bryant and Jacoby were soon replacing our water heater. Bryant and Jacoby did an excellent job. We couldn't be happier with these men. They were pleasant and professional and we had no worries about them being in our home and the work performed. I have never left a negative review before, but my experience with TLC has convinced me to break that streak. I recently had a service job done on my radiant heating system. The apprentice that did the work alone did not refill the system properly, so there are air bubbles throughout. He also cut out a section of pipe to insert a much smaller valve. He had to tug on the pipes to get it to fit, spent most of his time at our house on the phone asking how to do the job, and when questioned about the process by a resident mechanical engineer, he said "don't worry about it, it's fine" and it is now leaking at this new joint. I have had to call in another company to come and do it right because I do not trust TLC to ever touch any of my systems again. We couldn't keep the pilot lit and when the new company came they pointed out how the thermocouple that had just been installed by TLC had not been installed properly and had stopped working. No new problems since. Go with one of the many other options in town.
Mr. Shannon Rushing gave an spectacular service. He was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, a true professional. I trust his service 100% and will recommend him and the company to any and all my friends.
We want to thank all the staff that helped to complete the recent job at our home, moving a gas line, to reach our new location for our new gas range. Everyone was knowledgeable and diligent at every step of the operation. There were complications due to dealing with 40 + year old plumbing. Renaldo was very professional and he was early to my appointment which I appreciated. He was quick to do his job but took his time explaining what was wrong with my furance unit and was glad to share the maintenance plan. I had to wait a little over a week to get an early appointment available - that would be my only complaint to the company. Thank you Renaldo for your assistance and repair.

TLC Plumbing was absolutely amazing in the way it handled our water line break. Terence and Eric were totally professional, friendly and caring in taking care of our problem immediately. We will and would recommend them and TLC to take care of any of your plumbing problems in the future. We will never go to another plumber again. The price was completely fair. KUDOS to them and TLC. I have been a TLC customer for over 15 years. HVAC, Hot water heater and the latest water softener replacement. A few years ago, my very old rain soft water softener was acting up, Jay showed me the newer Kinetico series. I had just spent a few dollars on some unexpected repairs so he sent out a tech to get me a couple more months out of my old softener. Well that turn in to a couple years and now here we are. Jay showed me the latest Kinetico softener and I didn't think twice, he had it installed that day by Antonio. I have no issues with the softener and when i do, i know i can call Jay, Antonio or anyone at TLC and the will put me at ease. 5 stars service Thank you Jay, Antonio and the entire TLC family Happy Holidays

We hired TLC to run a new water line on our property because we thought we were getting the best, most experienced and professional plumbing outfit in Albuquerque. What a massive mistake we made. TLC is an arrogant, dismissive assortment of folks who will deflect blame for shortcomings to anyone but themselves. Water Authority turned the water on only to have every single fixture in the house clog with sand because TLC failed to back flush the new line after installation. Never again. Told us they would call to address our concerns, guess what.... they never called.
Lawrence was the best technician I every had the pleasure of working with. He was knowledge smart and professional. If any plumming issues every arise again I will call him!
I had James Crespin work on a main water line leak. I called some other local plumbers and immediately turned them away because of bad attitude. During a very busy time he was patient, respectful and got the job done quick. The work was very professional and took care of my leak and the very high water pressure in the house.
TLC Plumbing is the worst company I have ever done business with. They replaced 2 toilets for me back in March 2017. One of the tanks has a crack and I called to see what they could do, and they said nothing because they only warranty the toilets for 1 year. I asked how much to replace the toilet and they said approximately $800, maybe more. How did the price jump $300 or more in a year? I will never do business with this company again. They suck.

Thank you TLC! I moved to Albuquerque permanently not too long ago and I have found that overall most people dont care about quality or customer service. After being swindled by another business in Albuquerque and having to pay thousands of dollars to fix the damage they did to my home, TLC came and did the job right. Will reccomend to my clients and colleagues.

Unbelievably ridiculous and unprofessional inconsiderate morons, this people should not be in business, they have absolutely no regards for the value of potential customers. We called for an estimate on Monday, and they set up an appointment for the following Wednesday. We waited and waited and nobody showed up, not even a call! I decided to give them another chance to make it right, so, I called again the following week and asked what had happened. The person who answered the phone gave the matter no significance whatsoever, and only answered I don t know what happened, but let me call one of the plumbers to see when they can go . Again they set up an appointment for the following day, this time they did showed up, and I explained what it was that I needed. He said he couldn t give me an estimate right then and there, that he needed to come up with some numbers back at the office. So, he asked for my e-mail and said he would send me the estimate by the next day .one week and I m still waiting . Don t waste your valuable time with them. You are already dealing with enough stress with the problem at hand without having to deal with these people.
My husband and I have been using TLC for about 5 years now and everyone we have interacted with has been very professional and knowledgeable. They don t hesitate to go above and beyond and always do a great job! We recently moved out of state and are managing our rental from afar. Today one of the techs went over to change over the swamp cooler and noticed that the splitter we had on the outside spigot was causing it to leak and threw on a replacement free of charge. It was minor but it s things like this that will keep us loyal. We ve had years of fantastic service!
Scheduled an appointment to have a plumber come out. Confirmed the date and time multiple times and took time off work to be home. They never showed up. When I called they had us scheduled for a completely different day. To their credit they offered a 10% discount, but that hardly makes up for lost wages.
Edit: In response to the below post by the owner, you had an opportunity to make it right by sending a tech out when I called. You offered a 10% discount instead. That's roughly $10 on an entire day of lost wages. I know this because I called Albuquerque Heating, Plumbing, and Cooling after hanging up with you. They had a tech here in short order, and the overall cost for their service was $106. I highly recommend Albuquerque Heating, Plumbing, and Cooling. Their service was quick, efficient, and affordable. They also didn't waste my time.
I'm retracting my one star review upon further contact with TLC. I originally stated that we felt as we were being overcharged for the disconnect and reconnect of our AC unit we felt as if we were being over charged. We did not realize that the refrigerant in the ac needed to be replaced. We were just in sticker shock. We recieved a call from Levi who explained to me the ins and outs of the job at hand. He very generously offered us 10 percent off. TLC and I are back to being friends.
These guys are always reliable and professional. They did a great job for us in a real pinch! Not always the least expensive, but always doa great job and that, to me, is more important. Thanks TLC.
Had a water main leak right after the water meter. Usage bill was $360 for May! Called Abq Plumbing and Heating - they said couldn't have anyone out for two days. Jeff found the leak and Jack repaired it the very next day. Very professional and competent staff. Recommend them highly.
*Update April 2020: another great TLC experience. We had an issue with our water pressure. Quinn was on time, found the problem, fixed it, and was pleasant, professional, and friendly. Really, this is one of the best businesses in Albuquerque!
If you re remodeling, TLC is excellent. They've helped us couple of recent bath remodeling projects, including one that another local, well-known remodeling contractor completely botched. (And I mean BOTCHED - as in, contractors-installed-wallboard-over-their-own-tools-botched!)
TLC staff are always prepared, professional, courteous, and will let you know if they re running late - though in our experience they re usually right on time.
TLC might seem a bit expensive up front, but their HVAC/plumbing/remodel professionals will get the job done right the first time. If something went wrong, I d trust them to fix immediately... however, after several complicated projects, we ve never had to ask for a re-do, because their work has always been perfect. A+.

I called this morning and they were able to get a service man to my home that afternoon to replace a water heater. James was efficient, polite and made sure I was happy with his service. I will definitely use them for any future needs.
James Crespin came out to our home in response to a leak in our well line in tour home. He and his apprentice Caesar identified the problem and Fixed it. They were courteous and professional and did very good work. We would use TLC again and would recommend it to friends and family. Thanks James we can flush a toilet again!!

We called TLC to replace rigid copper lines and a faucet on an old garden style bathtub. They arrived on time. The technician, Javier, was very courteous, explained what he was going to do, asked if we wanted him to add shutoff valves, which we did. They removed the old faucet, cut the rigid copper lines, soldered on couplings, installed shutoff valves, installed the new faucet, tested it, checked for leaks, and cleaned up. The installation looks great. Start to finish was 35 minutes. We have used TLC several times in the past and have always been happy with their work and professionalism. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I hired TLC for several house maintenance issues such as clearing clogs in plumbing drain lines and heating/cooling maintenance. They do fantastic work at about $100 an hour.
I've also gone through TLC for a remodeling project in my house. They offered the most affordable quote of other contractors and is phenomenal work. Very happy with this company for their reliability, professionalism, and trustworthiness. I recommend them for any minor maintenance issues as well as remodeling and construction.
We have been using TLC exclusively for about a year or so after several less-than-satisfactory results from other HVAC/Plumbing companies. We are thrilled with them -- these folks KNOW what they're doing! We most recently had TLC install a mini-split room AC unit, and everything was done top notch. We weren't completely happy with one aspect of the job, so they came back the next day and made it right! Jeff and Brian were awesome. And we love our new AC unit!
I had leak under my sink and needed a plumber quick. TLC was able to send Shannon Rushing over first thing in the morning. He arrived on time and did an Awesome job!!! He was very professional, friendly and helpful. He fixed the leak in no time and did a thorough job. I would recommend him highly.

I have a new home and late one afternoon/evening I experienced backup flooding in our toilets. I called TLC and within an hour Santiago Baca arrived. He quickly diagnosed our issue. I watched him run lines to break the blockage and even used an endoscopic camera like a surgeon . I am grateful for his expert service.

I had a blown garbage disposal and the poor guy went down a rabbit hole of my creation (for which I am heartily sorry) but he (apparently without effort) maintained his cool, calm and professional politeness. I am a several-time repeat customer with TLC, and have never had anything but outstanding service. Kudos and sincere thanks to Zachary R. for another pleasant experience from TLC.
We called and made an appointment but no one ever showed up. When we called the office, they said we weren't even on the schedule but would have a technician call us "right away". He called several HOURS later and acted as if he wasn't supposed to have come. No one ever followed up with us or apologized. My husband took vacation time from work to accommodate THEIR schedule and they never even followed up or apologized for what was clearly their fault. It was clear they didn't care about correcting our plumbing issue or rescheduling. I have no idea how this company has such high ratings.
I highly recommend TLC. This is the second opportunity I've been able to receive services through TLC. Lawrence was professional, thorough and knowledgeable! He provided excellent service and inspires my loyalty to TLC for all my utility needs.
Excellent employees at TLC! In particular, I would like to commend your technician Roman M for being professional, efficient, knowledgable, and charming! Plumbing problems are normally the worst, but with Roman on the job, everything was an absolute breeze. Superior service!
I have done business with TLC for a number of years, and gave them far too many chances to "make it right" (my fault for coming back). I will not be doing business them in the future for the following reasons:
1. TLC failed to follow up on the permitting and inspections for the initial install of a furnace and water heater, and then failed to follow-up with a reinspect on the failed furnace inspection (both instances, I called the ABQ City Inspector myself). It took from February 2018, from the installation of the furnace, until December 2019 until they corrected the issues with the install. At this point, it was a poorly executed correction, but the inspector was willing to pass it, and I m tired of dealing with TLC.
2. TLC tried to bill warranty work as new work on two occasions. - The first occasion was when a tech either missed/caused a leak in my swamp cooler line when he started it up. That made it look like the tankless water heater TLC had installed just a year and some days before was leaking. They wanted me to agree to pay for the visit before they would send a tech. Only after multiple phone calls was I able to have a tech come and look at the leak. He also said it was clearly warranty work, and apologized that dispatch gave me a hard time about it. - The second occasion concerned a correction notice from the ABQ city inspector on a furnace they had installed. The tech tried to claim the correction of the obvious defect would need to be charged as a new job.
3. TLC provided an estimate for both swamp cooler replacement/refrigerated air conversion without first inspecting my property. He missed critical information about my configuration which would have resulted in change orders and tried to sell a refrigerated air system not compatible with my home. Fortunately, I had another company making the bid at the same time that was extremely thorough and caught those issues. We went with them.
4. A TLC salesperson opened a credit line in my name without my consent (it had been framed as a pre-approval process). I only learned of this credit line having been opened without my permission after the job had been completed by a different company.
5. A TLC manager, when I called to inform him what his employee had done, failed to see a problem with TLC employees opening credit lines without consent. He told me, That s just how we do business. The manager also tried to tell me I had signed a work order (I hadn t I couldn t have, as I had only communicated with the salesperson by phone and e-mail after his initial drive by of my home (where he failed to inspect anything). I also have at least one e-mail exchange where I continued to ask about his bid after I had supposedly agreed to the job.
Again, that's a summary of my interactions. The "make it right" philosophy has not been something I've witnessed, and frankly, I'd prefer a "do it right the first time" approach.
I needed a reputable plumping company to drain our tankless water heater. Based on previous reviews I called TLC. I was not disappointed. From my initial call to the service technician who came to my home and completed the job. Mr. Shannon Rushing (service technician) called prior to arrival and arrived on time. He was professional, courteous and thorough. The job was completed in a timely manner and no mess. He provided good tips to keep the tankless water heater running properly. I would most definetly use TLC in the future and recommend to friends, neighbors and family. Price was fair and service was EXCELLENT! TLC thank you for assigning Mr. Rushing to our home, I feel we have a trusted technician for any future needs! Thank you!
