Recently had TLC install a new cooler. I cannot believed the difference between my old swamp cooler and the new Convair. Huge difference, keeps the house substantially colder. Very happy with the new cooler and recommendation from TLC !
TLC replaced my 5 ton AC and did an amazing job. They also repaired a pinhole leak in a pipe in the ceiling. Today, they found the leak in my ceiling which was caused by the upstairs toilet. Shannon R. was excellent, professional, and wore a mask the entire time he was working. He explained everything well and problem solved!

I have used TLC at least twice - several years ago they repaired my refrigerated air, and today Will came and installed a new shower/faucet assembly and valve in my master bath. Will was great! On the rare occasions I've had plumbing or hvac issues they are the first I call.
Electricians got things done accurately and timely, however installation of the cooler was not satisfying. My price was changed after I distinctly asked for replacements, not glued together temporary fixes. They replaced the new screws to my new cooler with rusted and thicker screws after stripping the originals. Installer wasn't aware of how to properly install the cooler. After 10 - 15 minutes or walking back and forth he asked for assistance from other members of the company. A mess was left for me to clean on the roof after they left as well. I m disappointed.
Jonah C was the tech who almost single handedly installed my new heater and refrigerated air units. He was friendly and professional. He asked me for my preferences on the site for the install since we had to make last minute changes to make it work. The install went smoothly and looks great. I am very happy with the quality of work from TLC.
Tried calling for electrical service and no one even answers the phone or calls back. I don t know why they even waste the money paying for the top ad spot on Google if they don t even answer the phone.

Cody came to the house after we had worked with TLC for several days on a difficult electrical issue with our swamp cooler. He was not the first tech to work on the issue (but he was the last/best). He ID'd the issue within minutes, then began work late at night to correct it. He came out the next day to finalize his work and put in brand new parts. There was no additional charge (only what the prior tech had charged us). I just want to thank him for his exceptional attention to detail and super customer service. Whoever reads these for TLC should consider him one of your best! Promote him to a higher position now!!!!!

We had a leaking water line associated with our water heater. I called TLC Plumbing at about 7:30 pm and the technician, James Crespin and his helper arrived about 9:30 pm. James analyzed the problem and gave me a couple of options with associated costs. Once I chose the option James had the problem repaired within an hour. James was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend TLC Plumbing.
My air conditioner stopped blowing cold air right in the middle of a 100 degree week and it was over 90 in the house. The nice lady who schedules appointments went out of her way to find the soonest possible one for me. Frank the technician showed up right on time, was super thorough and got my air running colder than it ever has since I have owned this house. The previous company I dealt with told me I needed to replace my unit right away- I feel like TLC saved me thousands of dollars today. HIGHLY recommended!

While eating with my family at Furr's off of San Mateo Saturday evening 5 employees from TLC were talking HORRIBLY about the customers they had! They were making fun of a epileptic customer because they had a seizure and making fun of another customers child because he/she was mentally disabled! If that's how your employees talk about your customers I will never get services from your company. I am very disappointed..

I had what I thought was a small leak under my house. I ended up having to replace all of my 70+ year old piping. Travis came out to the house for a few days. Was very thorough and professional. Called TLC out to have my main water shut off valve replaced, because the old one nearly corroded away. James and Jude came out and quickly replaced the valve even though the valve was at the bottom of a three foot hole.
I always have great service when it comes to TLC. Today's dryer vent service, by Doug, was efficiently and professionally done. We now have peace of mind that we are not risking a dryer fire in our home and everything was cleaned up afterward. TLC's service workers are so knowledgeable and they get the job done right!

This Company is hit or miss. I had one good tech and about 6 or 7 guys who didn't care. We asked specifically not to have the swamp cooler drained onto the roofing, but instead of listening they tried to sell us things, identified a problem with the calcium in the unit but did nothing, and then still drained the unit right onto the roofing. This is a simple job and one of the more common. To disregard such a simple request from a homeowner is ridiculous. Meanwhile now I have a large calcium deposit on my roof, which TLC might not care about, but appraisers certainly do. One star for a failure to value your customer's input or property. Just do it yourself, these technicians are no better informed and probably less experienced than the average homeowner.

Our old heater from the 1940s was having issues starting & Jose spent time fixing the issue. This was a complex job & he was able to resolve the problem. After the heater encountered a second problem, he came back and spent time to make sure the wiring was properly connected. Jose was very courteous and we really appreciate his expertise in solving our issue.
Will did a great job unclogging my toilet. I thought I would have to clean up the water that had leaked, but he handled that too.
Renaldo was very knowledgeable regarding our heating and cooling system. He was also polite, respectful, and repaired our unit quickly. Our home is now cool and back to normal. Just moved here from MD. My shower was cold this morning,water heater pilot did not restart, so I called the same company the previous owner used (TLC Plumbing & Utility). Fella named Terrance called me back, was pretty quick getting here and very quickly diagnosed the problem - gas was turned off. In MD our gas and electric are together. Now I know they aren't here.
Since he was here I asked him about my swamp cooler which he was eager and quick to explain to me (we don't have these in MD, too humid). He explained why a soft cover was a bad idea where I live (higher winds here) and told me what all the sheet metal in my closet was for. I asked him, since he was here, if it would be a big deal to take the swamp cooler offer line for the season and you guessed it, no it wouldn't be. It probably took him all of half an hour to do it (in the dark no less). He was wonderful.
Also offered me advice on what to do when I get my gas turned back on (miss a hot shower). He was simply great to work with and couldn't have been more helpful. I'll be calling TLC when my gas gets turned back on to restart everything and when I replace this old furnace.
Confident and great and friendly service. Joseph even made it a point to drop in to check in on his work to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

The foreman at crew at Spain Gardens Apts was so incredibly rude. They had the entire parking lot blocked by the only entrance and instead of putting a sign up, or God Forbid engaging with drivers as they backed up by the site and pointing to alternate route, they chose to ignore the drivers; five grown men just ignoring the drivers as they backed. When a driver did finally engage then and got out of their car, they said this is a construction site. We don't have to explain anything to you. That guy needs to be fired!

On February 6, 2019 as I was cleaning up from dinner I noticed a lot of water coming from the fitting of my Insinkerator. It was after hours, but since TLC is available 24 hours a day, I called. I was fortunate enough to have Will Stuart come to the house within 20 minutes of my call. He was professional, pleasant, and did a perfect job fixing the problem. Hats off to TLC and Will Stuart.

We had our water heater stop providing hot water on Saturday.
We spoke with TLC on Sunday and decided our problem could wait until Monday. I called TLC first thing Monday at 7 am in hopes of getting worked into their schedule. They were eager to assist us and told us we would be taken care of for sure; only catch was it was between 8 to 5. That was perfectly fine; I was happy it was going to happen at all!! To my amazement Lawrence Sanchez called at 8:23 am and said he would arrive in 20 to 25 minutes; and that he did. He and Cesar arrived at 8:45 am to begin assessing our hot water heater problems. Step by step explanations were provided and two estimates which gave me choices were provided as well.
Lawrence and Cesar are "Wonderful Caring Individuals" who take pride in their work; it can be seen in their professional demeanor. We had "Hot" water by 2:30 pm. Lawrence sent me a text message this evening making sure we had hot water and to see if everything was working. Who does that?? It was awesome that Lawrence followed up. He had also emailed me some info on water softeners. Below is the contents of my reply to Lawrence's inquiry...
"Thank You I just saw them in my email. And YES, everything is working great; hot water setting seems perfect!! THANK YOU both again for the Professional Caring Workmanship today!! Selling a house in Edgewood. The 5 year old tank-less water heater was not keeping water hot. Realtor had a general contractor look at it. He and his plumber friends didn't know what was wrong with it, couldn't fix it, best he could do was offer to replace it at ~5K. My realtor then suggested having TLC look at it. Even though I've heard TLC is pricey, and they required payment for time spent once they left Albuquerque proper, I figured it was worth it if they could fix it instead of replace it. Quinn was the service technician. He called me on his drive out there, explained what he thought it was going to be - that is just needed to be flushed. When he got there and looked at it, he called again and said he was the process of flushing it, confident that was going to be the solution. Called again after and confirmed everything was working great. So for 250 bucks the heater was working great. It made my day not having to replace it, and explained to him that the contractor could only offer to replace it. He agreed that he'd make more money to just replace it, but it didn't need it. So I appreciate the honesty and professionalism of not gouging unsuspecting customers by recommending only the necessary services.

I woke up at 4:00 a.m to a wading pool in my bathroom the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The water was clear but it was seeping thru my walls and into my living room floors. My first thoughts were not good, how will I deal with this and get my friends to the airport by 5:30 and go to work by 10:00 am????? Despair ran through my veins. I opened the phone book and tore out the TLC add because it said leak detection 24/7 service. I waited till 5:00 am to make the call and to my surprise it was answered by a lovely lady who seemed like she had been up waiting for me to call. From there I was called back by a very courteous and knowledgeable man, Mario, who asked me a few questions, made me laugh and said he was on his way!!!!!! He showed up in record time, found the problem, fixed it and some other ailing parts on my toilet. He was so kind and helpful and really got the job done in one hour. He was so polite and made this whole disaster seem small. I am very grateful and I will have TLC in my cell phone for piece of mind. I have lived in Santa Fe and been a head of household home owner for over 20 years, it is crucial to have a great honest knowledgeable company to call when things aren't working. TLC's management team reached out to me almost immediately after posting my review and dissatisfaction with my original experience and were genuinely concerned with my opinion. They worked very hard to re-earn my trust and my business. Thanks to their second efforts and professional resolve, I will consider using them again in the future. I am sorry but due to my original extreme dissatisfaction I cannot rate them any higher, but wish to acknowledge a wonderful and professional resolve of my concerns. Will came on time, accurately diagnosed the problem, explained the situation, proposed the solution and did the work flawlessly. I couldn t be happier with his job. It wasn t easy and another plumber the day before had declined to even try. It was a fix to a very old broken flange that sat too high and made it impossible to install a new toilet. I will absolutely call Will again if something else goes awry.
They lost $4500 in repair work because the estimator would not call me back. Their response to the collapsed sewer line on the weekend was good. There was nothing that could be done by the plumber due to the situation. He stated an estimator would call me Monday morning. The follow up was not good. Here I had a collapsed sewer line in the street and everything in the house was unusable due to this and I could not get a return phone call. When they didn't call me, I called them, had to leave a message, and still no return call. I called another company, Rogers Plumbing, and they took immediate care of me. You shouldn't have to work to get a company to take $4500 from you.
Shannon and Gaby were my service professionals today. They replaced my water heater. Loved the new technology they used. Shannon explained what everything was and the reason for it and showed me how to operate the new water heater. They left the area they were working in super-clean. Friendly, very efficient and timely, and they answered my questions. They clearly enjoy their jobs and the company they work for.
Chad quickly worked up an estimate for the things I needed done, and then did them all to my satisfaction. He was professional, and cheerful - a pleasure to do business with. I will definitely want him to do any future work.

My pressure tank failed. We have a well. TLC replaced and improved all plumbing, new pressure switch, new pressure tank.
Contacted TLC due to a leaky hot water heater. Mark Coxwell gave me a very reasonable estimate for replacement, scheduled installation, and sent a tech. to complete the job. Brian Richards arrived and installed a new 50 gallon water heater pronto. I was impressed with his knowledge and quick work. Wife is happy; I'm happy. Kudos to TLC for expert installers at a fair price.
Rudy performed a water heater service for us and while doing so he identified an unknown problem and diagnosed it. He is very knowledgeable and efficient. I will be happy to have him come back again when we need service and repair.

9 June, Sunday. I called TLC plumbing and James Crespin came out and repaired the leak in front of my house. Which got running water right back now cause I had to shut off the water main at the water meter due to the leak out front. James came back 12 June, along with the help of Cesar Valdez and completed the plumbing up grades replacing the old 1985 Polyethylene piping from the water meter to the water shut off valve in my front bathroom. Awesome job James and Cesar. I would recommend your services to anyone. And thanks to TLC Plumbing for having awesome professional technicians like James and Cesar .
Even though it was after 5:00, Will came and did work quickly and efficiently.He was very polite and told me if I had any problems to call him.
These guys came to our places of business for a backed up clogging situation about 2 months ago. First off, the little boy they sent removed one of the 2 toilets affected and literally exploded a poop bomb all over the restroom. His version of cleaning it was to spray Clorox on the walls and leave, so it not only did it NOT actually clean anything, it also ruined the paint. Secondly, they took about 10 days to "fix" the problem which cost us 10 days worth of business and money! Third strike; the toilet was not even resealed after the job was finished. And finally, 2 months later come to find out the problem was never even fixed and we're in the same situation as we started before calling these guys. I would recommend anyone with plumbing issues ESPECIALLY regarding the toilets to save their money and call a more punctual and thorough company.
Jonah Clark called to let us know when he would arrive and he kept to schedule. He was a clean-cut polite young man, that answered questions from my husband as he worked. He took his time and showed each of us how to work the new thermostat he installed. We were very satisfied with the service we received. We will call TLC in the future if the need arises.

Our hot water heater flamboyantly died, filling our furnished den with water. We cleaned it up and called TLC right away. Manuel was there within an hour and scheduled the installation for the next morning. He and Isaiah worked for 8 hours the next day to bring our installation up to code and put in the new heater. They did a great job...it was a little pricey ($2100) but given all of the work that they had to do, it was worth it. Will use them again.
