After spending countless hours reviewing the different Sit stand desks, UpLift seems to have the best features and an awesome website to build and customize your desk. Super easy to use. Justin Alvarado helped give me a few suggestions and answered the questions that the website could not. Was very helpful and awesome to deal with. Excited to build out the new workstation and will certainly use UpLift on future office furniture needs!

Only compliant I have ever had was some of their under desk wiring holders (sticky plastic deal with a strap of sorts) are often brittle right out of the package. But other than that great product fair price and great customer service ! They stand by their products!

My husband and I ordered the 72"x30" desk in walnut for working from home. We are able to both sit at it side-by-side with plenty of space. We currently just have one external monitor each, but we could easily fit a third monitor as this desk is quite large.

The walnut top is beautiful, and the materials felt like they were very good quality. The desk itself feels very sturdy. We're excited that it is adjustable height with a keypad (so that we can stand more and hopefully be healthier during this time).

It took my husband about 2 hours to put it together (with me helping at various critical moments). The actual construction instructions were mostly clear and straight-forward.

I ordered the 80" Uplifting V2 desk. When it came one of the parts was bent pretty bad making it impossible to assemble. I wrote them an email and sent some pictures, they called me the next day and apologized, and overnight express shipped me the replacement part. It came and the assembly was easier than I expected. Desk turned out fantastic!

**update**The store manager just called and cleared up a lot of confusion the first employee I spoke to created. He's going to switch out the seat for me so that I can get the best fitting chair possible without spending more money. Thank you so much! I love the chair other than the seat.** Beware! You cannot return anything directly to the store if you special order it. After they've made the sale, then you will be told to go to the manufacturer and that you have to pay return shipping on a HUGE item + a restocking fee if you don't like it or it doesn't fit right. I feel like they should have been upfront about this during the sale. There's a tiny link at the bottom of the invoice but you have to go to a website to see the return policy. I spent $700 on special order chair that THEY help me configure. When I got the chair, the seat seems too small. So, I called and asked about the proper fit of my chair and they were completely unhelpful. The employee's suggestion was for me to come back and look at other chairs if I wanted to buy another one. WHAT??? Spend another $700? Why buy local if they don't help you after the sale or care if you are satisfied? I might as well have just bought it off the internet but I thought that going to the store would be better. My bad I guess. But, rest assured, I will never give this store my business again and will go out of my way to make sure others know to avoid them too.

Highly recommend! Customer service was amazing. I had a question that I asked on their website via their live chat. Throughout the rest of the purchasing I was in communication with the same customer service agent. Every part was shipped and arrived very quickly; very well packed. The desk was very easy to put together and works so well. Just using the desk one day has vastly improved my work efficiency!

Extremely dissatisfied with my purchase. I spent over $1000 on this desk, including the fixed monitor arms. I went with the fixed arms because that would ensure the monitors would be the exact same height, right? WRONG! The two angled arms have a slightly different angles, and there is no way to adjust the angle. Even though it is a minute difference, when multiplied by the length of the straight arm, it leaves the monitors off by three quarters of an inch.

Complete waste of money, DO NOT BUY!

I had ordered a chair from another company and after 2 months of hassle with customer service at that company I decided to try the Uplift Chair. During the time of COVID, I expected some delay but was pleasantly surprised to have my chair ship 1 week earlier than anticipated.

Unfortunately, the chair arrived damaged. Working with Abby at Uplift's customer service was a night/day difference from the other company. Abby was polite, professional and forth-right in my expectations for the time frame in receiving a fully functional product. Again, my 'warrantied' chair arrived a few days earlier than expected.

While the chair was not 'exactly' the one I wanted, the care given to the customer is worth the decision to go with this company. The chair is also more than I had expected also.

Kudos to Uplift for their excellent customer service in a time where customer service is regarded as a non-essential part of the company because it doesn't make a profit for the persons at the the top. I will be looking to this company for future purchases.

He was 100% engaged with my email correspondence and phone conversations. His follow up skills and commitments were second to none. I purchased my Uplift Desk about a month ago as I transitioned to a full-time work-from-home position. In search for a similar workstation like I had at my actual office, I came upon Uplift Desk and after reading many, many reviews, watching some YouTube reviews and speaking to some friends that I knew had purchased desks from here previously, I was convinced this was a must-have!

After about a week of pricing things and playing with many different configurations and accessory options, I purchased the 60x30 with the walnut laminate top. I added the following accessories: one wire grommet & one power grommet (VERY useful for me already), advanced wire management kit but since I purchased the modesty panel for the back, I found I didn't really need this extra kit, magnetic cable organizing channel, the 8-outlet mountable surge protector (also really glad I purchased this), Range dual monitor arms, and the large half-circle desk drawer.

Now, I also added the Pursuit Ergonomic Chair and *this* is the most comfortable office chair I've ever sat in. I love the mesh back, the adjustable arms & neck rest, and the greatest thing I love about this chair is how easy it is to lay back in the chair and keep that position with little to no effort. It's a very smooth recline and return to the upright position so if you're looking for an office chair, I would highly recommend this one.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with all of my purchases and with starting a new job, I truly feel this has allowed me to be very productive and I really enjoy my new workspace!

We are happy about the V2 desk we bought. I was skeptical about stability of 2-leg desks but it ends up fine holding a load of stuff (3 monitors, laptop, meta mounting arms, and speakers) and remain stable in stand-up position.

The price has gone up quite a bit since last year but I guess that's understandable given the 2020 situation. The customer service we reached out to (Jamie Caudle) was very helpful and responded quickly about discounts and orders.

Worth noting that their wood desktops is expensive for what they are - I still bought from them for the convenience (since it comes with grommet holes and pre-drilled screw slots), but if you are comfortable with some work your self you can get a better piece of wood for the same price and mount it to the their frame.

While Uplift has a solid and well designed product, Kevin was there to help with the ordering process as well as quickly replacing one optional piece that was damaged during shipping. I am not impressed right now. I paid over $1000 for my desk. The whole reason I chose this company was the wooden knotty top options. I ended up choosing the reclaimed Fir wood top. They sent me a top that cracked all over the place. I called them and they send me a second top - SAME problem. I called them and they said they would send me a solid wood top with a similar look but it would take 8 weeks to arrive. Fine. Then they changed their mind and said they can't do that unless I want to pay them $450 upcharge for the solid wood. They offered to send me a bamboo top at no charge. I don't want a bamboo top because they style is not the same. I can get a bamboo top at ANY of the retailers. Then, I looked back on their website to see that a bamboo top is $600 less than what I paid! No wonder they were willing to send it "at no charge". I asked them how that is fair and they said "we would have refunded you the difference." Yea, sure you would've - then why didn't you say so in your correspondence? Also, they want me to pay an addition $450 for a top that I didn't want to begin with but am taking it as a concession AND I have to wait 8 weeks AND how do I know that one won't crack AND they already have spent more than $450 on sending me these crappy cracking tops. I'm ready to send the whole desk back and they can lose the entire sale.

UPDATE: Now they will send me another replacement top in late June. They are sure this one won't crack because they think they "got a bad batch". Maybe it's just because it's dry in Colorado and they shouldn't be selling here... We'll see...

FINAL UPDATE: They sent me a new top that had already been cracked and the cracks were filled in with a black resin type. It looks good and I think it will work. I'm glad they fixed the issue.

I am a huge fan of Uplift Desk so far. I had been stalking their product for a year waiting until my home office update was ready to start. The time finally came and we ordered two desks.

They were reasonably priced and shipped much quicker than expected. They did take a little while to put together, but it was not a difficult process.

When I flipped the first desk over I found a pretty major gouge in the table top. I reached out to support via the chat on their website and within minutes I had multiple options to choose from about how to move forward. I chose the option that worked best for me and could not be more happy.

I can't emphasize how happy I am with this sale so far and I love the actual product a ton.

Purchased adjustable-height desk and monitor arm online. Website was very informative and made it easy to get exactly what I needed. All pieces arrived in good condition, instructions were straightforward, and assembly was as easy as could be expected. If you need a new desk and you're deliberating between a sit-down model or a sit/stand model, the latter wins every time--it truly is the best of both worlds. The price may feel a bit steep when compared to other types of desks, but with an adjustable desk, you get the benefit of flexibility along with the comfort that this solid piece of furniture will last well-nigh forever. I ordered a Humanscale chair from The Human Solution almost two years ago. The experience and the quality of the chair influenced me to order two more. I recently had an issue with one of the chairs and contacted The Human Solution. They spent time exploring my options and kept in close contact. When I made my decision they handled the replacement promptly and courteously. I have been impressed with their sales representatives and customer service and would not hesitate to return as a shopper in the future.

I am beyond happy--I am thrilled!--with the quality of the Uplift desk, keyboard tray, PC tower holder, and monitor arms that I received last week. It all exceeds my expectations because it's so rare anymore to find something so well made. Printed assembly instructions came with everything, there were nicely done on-line videos, and I received an email just before my things arrived, with links to files to help me put things together.

I had to call Uplift Desk 5 times to talk to sales and customer service. Every person I spoke to was very patient with me, was able to explain things to me in a clear manner, addressed my needs and requests, was extremely knowledgeable about the products, and made gentle suggestions (without being sales-pushy) about what I might want to buy or do. They were fabulous!

Mitch helped me on my last call, when one part of the monitor arm didn't seat completely. He gave me a suggestion for how to get it to completely fit together, and it worked--no sending a part back or waiting for another one to arrive!

It's very clear to me that this company wants me to be extremely satisfied with every aspect of buying and owning their products, and I feel they have gone over the top. Their 7-year warranty gives an indication of this strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. I highly, highly recommend their desk, products, and company.

I purchased a 48x30 reclaimed Fir solid wood desk with the V2-Commerical C-Frame in black along with the advanced digital memory keypad and heavy duty casters and the two power grommets.

End to end experience has been great with a quick delivery on my selected desk which was impressive considering the current challenges.

I originally planned to keep the budget as low as possible and go for laminate and limited add-one but super happy that I ended up with the Fir solid wood even though it was considerably more. Everything about the desk is solid. I have a Samsung 49 ultra wide sitting on top and have no wobble or concerns about this desk supporting anything I can throw at it.

I also opted to add the two power grommets which I m now pleased I did, and heavy duty casters, which probably look at home on a hospital bed such is the construction of them. I constructed this on my own but It really is a two person job to turn the desk over such is the weight. The motor is very quiet and so far I am loving my purchase.

It all went together well, no issues and whilst it took me longer than the 7 min video I was in no rush.

I chatted with support as the wobble board didn t ship but even this experience was easy and very friendly with the board being shipped that day.

I was recommended to UPLIFT Desks by a friend at work and I would be more than happy to recommend this company and their desks too.

I wish I'd purchased this while I was in school, spending hours upon hours reading, writing, and taking tests. It would have saved my back and hip joint to be able to alternate standing and sitting. The desk is fairly simple to put together, though very heavy. I noticed the directions were different from the desk configuration, but it didn't cause a problem. I appreciated the pre-drilled holes. I'm still working on the cable configuration, making it look neat. The laptop arm is OK. I would rather have the laptop sitting flat on the platform rather than almost vertical so that I can align the laptop monitor with my second monitor. Maybe there is an adjustment I have not located yet. I recommend this desk to anyone looking for a better way to be stuck at a desk all day long.

I purchased two chairs from Human Solution in 2011.The Liberty Chair and my much loved, Freedom Chair. Purchasing both chairs was very easy,straight forward and communication was professional, timely and helpful. The chairs arrived as scheduled and they were in perfect condition. When the right arm of my Freedom chair cracked a few weeks ago, I contacted Human Solution, and Jonathan of customer relations immediately got back to me, telling me my chair was under warranty, and then investigated and realized they had updated the arms, and arranged for me to receive two replacement arms which arrived in two days via Fedex, and were easy to install. I am now happily back leaning on the arms of my Freedom Chair.

My experience with Jonathan of customer service exceeded my expectations, and because of his service, I will be now looking to Human Solution for other items, beside chairs. I recommend this company highly.

It was all the fault of the delivery personnel at Fed Ex, but we were told we had to go through the shipping party to find out what happened to our missing cartons. Last year, I received the black, 48", curved front, adjustable desk with the digital controller that allows four settings for my birthday, and I couldn't be happier. The quality of the wood or composite used for the top is of high quality. The finish is slightly rough but doesn't affect writing too much. The maximum and minimum heights that the desk can adjust to fit every situation that I can throw at it. I had chosen this desk over other adjustable desks because of reviews indicating how sturdy and level the desk was while adjusting the height. I can have a glass of water or a POP figurine standing alone and barely see any vibrations. Overall, quality product from what seems a reputable company. Only thing I wish was for a lower price.

I ordered a full desk, accessories, cabinetry etc. and after ordering asked tht Uplift hold the order until I moved into my new place. They were a joy to work with and terribly accommodating. I then worked with them on the delivery upon move-in. The packaging is world-class and the quality of materials is very high. The rolling file drawer is seriously built. And the Pheasantwood desk I ordered is thick, sturdy, beautiful and a work of art.

Unfortunately it arrived with what I would call a structural crack in the wood. Not damage from shipping, and something that would have been caught upon shipment. It was just destined to crack along a wood-fault-line. I notified Uplift and they shipped a replacement in only hours. No hassles. No challenges. Just world-class service and quality.

Sami Jo Berryhill was specifically a super help throughout!

I can't say that the level of customer service mee...

I can't say that the level of customer service meets my bar. The ordered desk is supposed to arrive on a Sunday, yet one and half weeks later, one of the shipment was still sitting in Fedex facility. Granted that this is Fedex's problem, not Uplift desk's problem. When I reached to the customer service, they said they would contact Fedex and get back to me the next Tuesday. However, I got no emails the next Wednesday and contacted them again. This time they said that there is nothing they could do with Fedex. Fedex is already working as fast as they can and the only thing I could do is to wait. And there is no estimate of when the shipment will actually arrive. They didn't want to send a replacement because "the replacement will hit the same bottleneck". So I was given two choices, either return and refund or wait indefinitely.
Had I know that the shipment won't arrive for this long, I probably would have choose a different brand.

Human Solutions has a lot of positive reviews. I'm sure the products and service is awesome when everything goes well. But be sure to look at the negative reviews for there is a common theme that when you're order is delayed several things will surely happen:

1) your credit card gets charged immediately
2) though your told everyday your desk will ship 'tomorrow,' it won't and you'll be told the same thing tomorrow
3) you will not get notified if there is a delay
4) customer service is responsive but not interested in digging into your order

Just received my aesthetically flawed reclaimed wood Uplift desk and it is stunning!. It arrived in great condition (well protected during shipping), was put together quickly, and works perfectly. The desk top and industrial frame tone is exactly what I wanted and all of my expectations were completed fulfilled (and I take a hard line on quality). Additionally, ordered on. Monday and Arrived on Friday - incredibly fast service. I also called customer service before I ordered because I wanted to make sure and get the V2 frame (rated best by Wirecutter) and on the reclaimed desks the frame is not specific. The customer service representative put me on hold for a few minutes and came back and confirmed he could ensure I got the V2 frame. Absolutely top notch company and product based on my experiences thus far!

Just had a fantastic experience working with Cary to get my custom desk purchased. The web site has a wonderful configurator with all the options listed and photographed for your perusal. I generally knew what I was looking for, but thanks to Cary's help, I made sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. These are not cheap desks, but that applies to quality in addition to price, so I expect to use and cherish this desk for many years!

The unit is very stable, great looking and the memory allows him to move the desk easily from standing to two siting heights, one with a seat pad on his desk chair and one without. Great experience, and quality product. My order was shipped quickly, and arrived undamaged. I was mistakenly sent the wrong color crossbar at first, but Jamie C. from customer service was amazing and had the correct one shipped out immediately, and it arrived on time with the rest of the parts. Was able to put it together alone in about an hour and a half and it works like a dream. Quality of everything (desk, risers, standing mat, light) is AMAZING, and couldn't be happier. Well worth the investment for my back issues.

Great quality desk. Having put many bookcases, desks etc together, this was one of the first pieces that had everything very well organized and mapped out. It was a breeze to put together. The desk is smooth and virtually silent when going up and down. I would recommend the preset button control option. It is easy to flip flop from standing to sitting in seconds.

I finally have enough space to have my Mac and PC running at the same time and on the same desk! Love this desk!

The agent that helped me through the chat was Nefer and she gave me her email so she could give me more information. I had a couple options in mind for the desk I wanted but was on the fence because of pricing. Nefer was friendly and patient as I requested quotes for various desk models and with different options. This all-purpose desk will be your friend and a beautiful backdrop to your day- lifting your spirits, providing moral support, and probably even offering to do the laundry. You should definitely buy an Uplift desk and name it something nice, cuz you'll want it around forever (and it's of high enough quality that it will probably outlast you. Put it in your will. Give it to someone you like.)

For reals though: The customer service is amazing- shout out to *employee unnamed for privacy reasons*, who was prompt, polite, answered all my questions, and had excellent problem-solving skills. He was so good that I asked for his manager's email, and told her that he deserved a raise. The desk is high quality and very sturdy (I got the upgraded commercial frame), pretty, functions perfectly, and is well-designed. The accessories are also unexpectedly functional, well-designed to fit with the desk, and pretty. Shipping was amazingly fast- two to three days, I think? YMMV of course.

I purchased a an ErgoHuman chair from The Human Solution over 4 years ago and had to call or email them on two different occasions when my chair needed a parts replaced. I've dealt with so many companies that don't budge until you push them, but the people at The Human Solution went above and beyond. The second time I needed to get in touch with them I simply asked for advice on how to fix a detached cushion. Without asking they dug into their records and found my order (of which I had lost receipt and the associated email address) and informed me that my chair was under warranty (and even had a lifetime warranty on mechanics) and are sending out the new parts at no cost! If they were a cable company or wireless provider, they would have shrugged off my initial inquiry and hoped I wouldn't pry further so they could save a buck but they made sure I knew what I was entitled to when I had purchased one of their products! I've been nothing but impressed with The Human Solution and highly recommend them!

I bought an 80"x20" bamboo top, 4-legged desk with the Motion-X Board and comfort mat. I had spoken with someone before purchasing about some concerns with potential problems arising from putting my desktop computer on top of the desk. After buying and setting up the desk, I have no worries. The movement up and down is pretty solid and there seems to be a safety mechanism that reverses the movement as soon as it has any resistance. The Motion-X Board came with scratches on the bottom part that sits against the floor and supposedly this is a common occurrence. However it doesn't affect the functionality at all, so there really isn't a problem for me. Nefer was very quick to look into the issue and to respond with any information she found as we went through the RMA process. I highly recommend!

This has been a great experience! The customization, durability, stability. This desk has it all. There are some phenominal "easter eggs". At its highest setting you can roll the chair underneath and adjust your cables. Swapping out and returning has been a breeze. As a sales rep myself, David Martinez was a great person to get questions answered by, he was patient, and has the customer service part of it down. Very pleased!

As a director of customer operations, I know well the difference a single staff member can make on a customer s experience. Last month I requested a quote online and was introduced to Trevor. He was courteous and professional. While I did not execute the on the quotation immediately, Trevor remained patient and followed up in a friendly and non-pressuring manner. After my receiving my order I was very impressed with the quality. I followed up my initial order with a second purchase but unfortunately one of the items arrived damaged. Once alerted to the damage, Trevor apologized and went to work getting a replacement sent at no charge. To make the matter even more palatable he also instructed me to discard the damaged product so that I not have to deal with the RMA process or shipping.

I had a great experience with UPLIFT. I admit, I was not super clear on what I wanted, but each time I called, the customer service was outstanding. I got two quotes, both were outstanding, and whenever I had a question, I could text UPLIFT on their site, call during normal business hours, or shoot a quick email out.

Also, when you geek out and review all the companies out there selling sit/stand desk setups, from my experience, UPLIFT gives the best combination of quality frame, table top options (both size and look), and "add-on" accessories like keyboard tray and wire organizing systems. My experience was profoundly improved by the excellent, timely, and friendly customer and sales support. I probably ended up with the desk that he wanted, but he made me think I was making the choices. Just a great shopping experience. They very quickly shipped a replacement set of legs. While my review is coming a little late.. I wanted to post about my wonderful experience with the staff. I dealt with Will Moore a bunch through a tough shipping issue that occurred (my local shipper did not take care of the boxes). Will did EVERYTHING in his power to make it right. He offered to replace every single piece of my desk and chair, and always made me feel confident in my purchase. I would buy from them again because of how I was treated. Excellent product and customer service!

After a lot of research the only desk I found that could compare with the quality of the UpLift Desk, was made by Steelcase, cost a fortune and was awkward to purchase. The online purchase experience was fantastic and although I was being up-sold on several accessories, I have no regrets about getting any of them: lamp, big foot pad, power organization and magnetic thingies and some free stuff!
I live in Toronto so the shipping quote seemed a little off the charts. I reached out directly and received quick and courteous replies and a new, quite reasonable, shipping quote. The desk arrived three business days later and although there was some very minor damage to the bottom corner of the top, it was assembled within two hours and have been using it happily since.
I honestly felt I'd be standing about 20% of the day in order to change it up and relieve my back and neck. Turns out I prefer to stand about 80% of the day. I also find myself moving around a lot to music and feeling generally more free - to talk on the phone, when folks come into my office, when writing and working at the monitors.
Great Customer Service. Great Value. Great Product. Great Decision. I think everyone should have one...
