I have been shopping for a standing desk solution for quite a few weeks now as the Covid/WFH continues on. After comparing about 8 companies and the various options and discounts being offered I came across the Uplift solution. I had quite a few questions after comparing with competitors and Jamie C. was able to help me with everything and then some! They were very fast to respond and were very helpful in getting me all the details to my laundry list of questions that I came with. I am very excited to get this standing desk in the next few weeks!

After receiving a damaged desk from FedEx, I immediately contacted uplift and spoke with Alexandra. She was very helpful and went above and beyond in resolving my issue. She immediately dispatched a new desk. Initially I was worried about having to repackage such a large desk to send back but she immediately told me not to worry about it and that I could dispose of it or use it in any way. Top notch customer support and I was always immediately able to get a real person to talk to for assistance. Other companies could learn a lot from how Uplift treats its customers.

Hands down one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. They worked with me every step of the way in my desk to make sure I got what I needed and even went above and beyond to ensure it was delivered on the perfect day for me! When my order had a small issue, they even went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and then some!

The outcome was that she would send a new one but she offered me some great other options besides having a new one sent out. My experience with the customer service at UPLIFT was excellent. I started by asking a question through the online chat feature, Cary answered. He didn't bounce me around to other representatives but instead continued to work with me ,through email, to answer all my questions. The sheer amount of accessories UPLIFT offers for their desks is impressive, but can be daunting. Carry offered me recommendations and helped me build my perfect desk. I made my purchase fully confident of my chosen selections. I look forward to working with UPLIFT and Cary again.

I stumbled across this company online, and ordered a lift desk for my new home office. It arrived promptly and it was pretty easy to assemble (says my husband). I ve been using this desk for 2 months now, and I LOVE IT! I really only use it in the standing position, and it s so easy to stand all day because they included a FREE bamboo swivel board. Best of all, the desk top is a whiteboard! I have all my notes for critical tasks at my fingertips (literally ;).

With COVID, there has been a lot of orders and increase in volume I m sure - so I ended up getting most of my desk pieces delivered on the same day. I was missing the desktop though and contacted Uplift via email, Cooper responded promptly and submitted a new order that was pretty much on its way in 24 hours. Super easy and helpful, looking forward to putting the rest of the desk together.

Last year I won an office furniture contest from Human Solutions and one of the components was a Steelcase chair (which has been the best office chair, I have ever owned). From the day they called me and told me I had won to the final instillation, the company handled everything in a manor that demonstrated their superior customer service.

Unfortunately, the chair began experiencing some problems the past month, so I called them to see if there was any type of warranty still on the chair. Immediately, their passion for great customer service kicked in again and next thing I know, they are shipping me a brand new one. No arguing No hassles No we don t believe you or this must be your fault attitudes THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!!!

Their handling of a problem that could have happened with any company has once again cemented my firm belief that if a company really wants to, they CAN have great customer service and take care of their clientele.

For me There are no other office furniture companies!

The desk itself seems like it would be nice, but I wouldn't know as of yet because of their TERRIBLE customer service. Desk came in a few weeks ago, and we are moving into our office this week. As I'm putting it together, I noticed I am missing 4 crucial pieces for the desk to even stand upright. That's ok, we still have a week to get them before the office go-live date, and the items originally shipped within a week. Contact customer service online, and sent them everything they requested within 5 minutes. No response whatsoever by lunch, so I called. The guy who answered said, "Allison is at lunch right now, but I can have her call you as soon as she gets back." Never received a call. Emailed her again that afternoon...still no response. It is now 5 days later, I have received no word from Allison or ANYONE at uplift, I have $3,000 worth of metal and wood sitting in my office, and no place to work...

They are INCREDIBLY ready to blame COVID on everything, and everyone I talked to (can't remember the guys name I spoke with) is extremely non-committal, and clearly looking to do the bare minimum.

Our teams are working 12 hours/day currently to meet the demands of our clients. A good company adapts. While I understand they are probably very busy given so many people are working from home, they may want to invest in better employees who will go the extra mile to keep their customers happy (especially those who could potentially be large corporate clients...)

With the price of these desks, that is the LEAST you can offer your customers...a timely response. Still no idea when I may have a functioning desk.

I recently received my 72x24 standing desk in white and I can't recommend Uplift Desk enough.

I ran into a couple of snags when assembling my desk, and their customer service team was prompt, thorough and detailed in helping me through my issues. The desk works great; the mechanisms are smooth, it looks beautiful, and fits my apartment perfectly. If you are looking for the best standing desk company, this is it!

And if you aren't sure about standing desks, buy one and don't look back. The ability to switch between sitting and standing easily throughout the day is a life saver for lower back pain.

Bought the height adjustable sit/stand desk, 36x24, C-frame, black laminate. Added the optional memory keypad, grommet holes for wiring, and dual swing-arms for monitors.

Put it together myself. Very easy. About 2 hours.

Great quality materials and quiet motor. Highly recommend the memory keypad. Makes operation a breeze.

My comfort level at work is much better being able to mix standing and sitting during the day.

Extremely happy with my Uplift products and purchasing experience. The Pursuit Ergonomic Chair is very comfortable. It "disappears" when I'm focused on a hard task the best outcome I could hope for.

My standing whiteboard desk is better than I hoped for. The motors are strong, quiet, fast. The product just feels solid. Not only that, it arrived WAY sooner than expected. Pleasantly surprised all around!

I purchased both a stand up desk as well as a smaller table for my business. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and chose the wrong finish to match our other furniture from Uplift. I reached out to Uplift, explained the situation, and Allison McDonald took such great care of me! Not only did she arrange for the two tabletops to be returned, she put the new order together for me so I didn't have to do a thing except click a link. She also kept in good communication with every step of the way. Thank you Uplift and Allison for excellent customer service. CS is such a lost art these days, but it is encouraging to know that a few businesses like Uplift still make the effort to provide their customers with excellent service after the sale. I am a fan :)

Quality products and excellent service. I'm extremely happy with the desks that I've purchased which are ergonomically superior to the ones that they're replacing. The ordering process was simple and straightforward. John Buseman assisted me in customizing my order and took me through the entire process. Excellent service!

The desk was simple to put together, be sure to have a partner to help turn it over, especially if you have a larger one as it gets quite heavy. Materials have a nice weight to them and the up/down movement is controlled -- even has a nice speed ramp down as it approaches the desired setting, nice touch!

I had high hopes based on other reviews, but I was severely let down. I ordered two desks on July 22nd. Uplift's stock was so depleted that I had to configure my desks in a configuration that was not my preference just to get a ship date of August 4th. Then August 4th came and went with no order status change. I called on August 5th and was told that my order was now delayed to August 11th. Not sure why I had to call in to get that information instead of Uplift engaging me. I asked how I could be assured that my order would ship on August 11th since I was already promised a previous date that was not met. The rep assured me that they had 1,000 units coming in and only have 400 people reserving them. Then August 11th came and went with no order status change. I again have to initiate communication to find out what is happening with my order. I once again get told my order is delayed, now until September 1st. I called uplift and they were happy to cancel my order. I appreciate the times we live in right now, but that is no excuse to continue to make promises to your customers to only not fulfill the promise. Also, not communicating with your customers if there is a delay is also not acceptable. The final insult was Uplift was happy to cancel my order instead of trying to make the situation right. I can't speak to the quality of their product nor will I ever be able to because Uplift's customer service is so bad I will not buy their product.

Did a lot of research on the Sit/Stand desks for several months. Went to the store, spoke with Daniel,and the desk was ordered in less 15 minutes. He was able to answer all of the questions I had, and was good with getting me what I need to get my desk home.

This desk is probably the best investment I've made in awhile. It is a must have for anyone who has back strains from sitting at a desk all day. The desk is stable, looks beautiful, and definitely worth the money.

Love my Uplift desk. I work from home, so I spend 8-10 hours a day working at the desk. I have the 48" with the light maple top. I was surprised at how sturdy the legs are when I opened the box. This is a solid desk and well worth the money.

Experience has been awesome so far. Cary was great and wonderful to work with. I ordered the Dark Bamboo Uplift V2 Standing Desk for the home office. I was originally going to order from Autonomous.ai, however; last minute I came across Uplift and noticed they were local here in Austin. I checked out further reviews and saw how superior the product was. I'd rather pay extra money for the peace of mind knowing the build quality is better and customer service is right around the corner.

These guys are simply amazing. I ordered a Raynor Ergo Elite chair. It was extremely uncomfortable. It had mild damage due to shipping, but only cosmetic. I would have kept the chair had it not been so uncomfortable. The Human Solution went above and beyond when I returned the chair. I ordered the V1 Raynor Ergo all leather version. It's a much more comfortable chair. The people that work at Human Solution are very understanding. They literally want you to have the perfect chair for you. I appreciate the customer service and the patience. I will most definitely be buying all of my personal and business office furniture from them. Great company!

The Human Solution reps worked with me to return and replace it. The second chair has been perfect. Best ergonomics I've ever experienced in an office task chair.

My desk is absolutely awesome, but the customer support that I received from Mitch was even better. The desk arrived with some damage, which is due to mishandling by the shipper, not Uplift. Mitch was quick to solve my problem and even checked in with me multiple times over the course of a few weeks to make sure everything was resolved, and that I was a satisfied customer. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new desk, office furniture, or office accessories. They rock!

I found the keyboard for less money on another site and they matched it. They made contact with me right away and when I called they made me feel like mine was the most important call they had. And they shipped the same day. With so many companies outsourcing and using recorded everything, I will go to the Human Solution now before trying anyone else. I ordered the Uplift V2 Standing Desk 60 x 30 with commercial legs with the memory set buttons. Simply put, the table is amazing and extremely functional. It looks and acts exactly as I would want it.

The build did however, take some time. I'm no master builder, but have built my share of IKEA products It overall took close to two hours. There were 5 separate boxes sent to me and finding what was in each and every box took some time.

Lastly, the delivery was not the smoothest. I received 4 out of 5 boxes extremely quick (within 5 days as promised), but the table top itself came separate and two days later. Upon opening the table top, I found the corner of my table chipped off by a solid inch. I ordered it to come with a standing mat as part of the holiday promotion, but received an attachable drawer instead.

Update: Customer Service got back to me immediately after submitting my review and offered me different options to either replace my desk top or have a small refund. I completely appreciate this and love the immediate call to action, thank you all so much!

Really wanted to like this place, but after I spent over $500 they wouldn't let me return a $19 item. They said it was past the 30 day return period (which was true I live far away and don't get by the store often, but come on). I ask for store credit, and they said the most I could get was ~$9!!!. Mind you the item was in original packaging an untouched. I'm sorry but in 2016 this level of customer service is unacceptable.

There are too many better companies out there (evo desk to name one). Go with them.

I should have realized that I was dealing with a poor company when they said they would give me a discount and when the did it was for just over 1% (they threw in a free accessory). That's on me. Sorry Human Solution, but you lost a customer for life just to save $19.

Human Solution & Uplift Desk have an excellent product. My desk arrived quickly despite the fact that it is massive. The quality of this product is incredible. The materials are sturdy and nothing on the desk feels cheap.

In terms of customer service, Bobbi Bruce took excellent care of me and got my order processed quickly. Excellent all around. I would give 6 stars if I could.

TL;DR: Great service, some issues with QC on desktops and handling the demand during COVID. Don't love how prices went up compared to the Wirecutter review price.

I recently ordered an Uplift V2 standing desk with the 60x30" desktop. The order process was a bit painful, since I wanted to chat with a sales rep before ordering. The chat interface on the website is quite poor at handling heavy load, dropping you from the queue if you leave the site idle for more than a few minutes. So I spent a frustrating evening trying and failing to get through. I tried again the next morning and the wait was a little more reasonable.

Once I got through, the sales rep (Jamie C.) was helpful and got me the info I needed quickly. Their process is a bit "manual" and with the COVID demand high the desk didn't ship until about a week after my initial contact. All told, it took about 11 days from first contact to get this in-stock desk from Austin to San Diego.

Unfortunately, the first desktop that was shipped to me was badly scuffed and scratched along the front edge. Jaime quickly started the process to ship a replacement, and it arrived about a week later. I was allowed to hang onto the original desktop, so I guess that's some compensation for the delay. The new desktop is much better, but not totally flawless. There are a few spots with very small bubbles or grit under the finish, but I only notice them if I'm being super critical.

Aside from that, the desk is great! The bamboo is beautiful and the lift motors are speedy and precise compared to previous standing desks I've tried. The cable management accessories are nice and useful. I even like the "free" balance board that I had to include with my order. (I would have enjoyed a pre-covid unbundled price on the desk more, but alas.)

So all told, Jamie was great and supportive, the product is great too, but the company should take a look at QC on the desktops and maybe abandon forced bundling/price hikes during the pandemic.

I have had a great experience with Uplift so far. Even though my first desk top got damaged by FedEx (they've been dropping the ball on a lot lately) Uplift was quick to resolve the issue. I spoke with their rep William Clark who was helpful and professional. He got a new top ordered right away and it should be out here next week. Looking forward to getting the new top and finally getting a great desk in here.
