Great desk, solid build, motors are pretty quite compared to a co-worker's different brand. Easy to build, why have I been working at a regular desk all these years? Get you one, you won't regret it.

I have used a popup standing desk before and it was great for my back but I didn't have enough space to work, it got annoying. So, I started looking for a full sized desk that was affordable and I found UpLift. Very happy that I did.

Assembly of the 70" x 30" desk took about an hour and a half with the help of my wife. We read everything before starting a section and had no problems, it all went together very well. I used a battery powered drill with a #4 Alan head to do most of the assemble, just be careful and don't strip anything. I drilled pilot holes for the screws that were needed and it was a breeze.

I added the under desk CPU holder, that took a minuter and I added the Privacy panel in front to hold cables. I'm not sure if I will need much else for "Cable management" but if I do I did purchase the kit. In an office with 10 computers there is always a need to manage cables.

I also made the decision to purchase the White Board Desk top, It will come in very hand for me and my staff to leave me notes instead of pieces of paper. However, I'll never be able to say the note disappeared, unless I wipe it off myself.

If you have been thinking about purchasing from Uplift I would recommend it and if you have been thinking about a Standing Desk for whatever reason I would also recommend it.

This is way overdue as I've been very satisfied with the desk I bought just over 2 years ago, but now I have something to add to that experience.

When I bought the desk two years ago I had a few phone calls with a woman named Sammy who helped answer all of my questions and narrow down the options that would work best for me. As I was preparing to relocate and I needed the desk and chair to arrive around the time I would be moving, she helped to coordinate getting it shipped at the right time. The desk arrived shortly before I did, and the chair arrived before I needed it for work. Perfect timing.

I'm vary satisfied with my Uplift desk, and I wish I had picked one up years ago. It is great to be able to sit down when I'm concentrating on programming and stand for video and phone calls. It makes a big difference being able to do that.

Now, let's fast forward to this past week. I was happy enough with the Steelcase chair that I bought at that same time that I decided to get a second one for use in my studio. Ironically, no sooner than I order a second chair, I moved the other one to try it in that location, and when I adjusted the height, I found that the cylinder was not working like it should. It would go up, but then it would sink back down. It was fine until I moved it. I was surprised, as I know Steelcase makes quality stuff. I called in with my concern and said that I just placed an order for another chair, but was a bit unsure now that this one is having an issue. I spoke to Cary and he assured me that he had never seen that happen in that model, and said he would check on getting a new cylinder sent to me right away (this on a Saturday). I got an email from him Monday morning confirming that it was covered under warranty and he wanted my shipping address to get it sent out ASAP.

So, I just wanted to add a note saying that they definitely stand up to service after the sale and go out of their way to provide excellent customer service all the way around. I'm very satisfied with their products as well as their service.

I ordered an L-Shaped Rubberwood desk from Uplift in early August. Due to some backorders (lot of orders lately due to work from home) I didn't receive until early September. Upon arrival, the main section of the desk had a split in it. I immediately assumed it would be a painful experience getting a replacement. However, Abigail was extremely helpful and after a couple of messages in the support chat with her and some photos of the damage, I had a replacement on the way. I could even keep the old desktop to reuse some other way (cutting board).

So, while there were some bumps in the road, I'd still highly recommend anyone get an Uplift desk. You definitely won't regret you did.

My wife and I have purchased 2 full desk setups during this year's work from home situation, and they've been great! We chose Uplift after reading reviews on The Wirecutter and we thought the different types of woods to chose from were great. One of our desks was a less expensive Bamboo, the other was Acacia. Both are gorgeous! The included options for decluttering wires have also been very helpful.
The only downside we've seen have been out of Uplift's control, and that's been some shipping issues with FedEx -- the larger items have sometimes shown up damaged, but Uplift has been quick to correct those issues and make things right. If anything, seeing how well they correct any issues that pop up have made us all the happier for choosing them! Phone support has been tough to get through, I'm not going to lie, but they are insanely great at handling issues over email and/or calling you back quickly. 10/10 will buy again!

I couldn t be happier with the quality of the desk, the excellent customer service, very quick shipping, and the wow factor of the entire transaction. When you order, you start with the basic desk and customize it to your liking, much like customizing a computer when you order it. It took 4 days to get the desk. Assembly was easy but you definitely need two people to turn it over after it s assembled. The desk works beautifully, looks smart, and I really dig the accessories that were sent along with the desk. A side note, before I ordered the desk I had a brief chat with an Uplift team member. He answered all of my questions and gave me confidence that the order would go through smoothly. It did.

Highly recommend this company and the desk. It s one of the best purchasing experiences I ve had in a while.

First, the red cedar is gorgeous- the photos reall...

First, the red cedar is gorgeous- the photos really don't do it justice. Unfortunately, cedar is a VERY soft wood. If you drop something (e.g. your phone) on the desk, it will create an indent. This works really well to create a "worn-in" look to the desk but you need to have great care with the wood. Setup for the L-shaped desk (right return) was fairly straightforward with the upliftDesk gear and directions. Because of the soft wood, follow the recommendation of two people to lift and flip components to minimize damaging the wood in any way. I suspect things are easier when you have a single panel vs. the dual panel for L-Shaped desks. The joining of the two boards is a little bit tricky -- it's a type of connection where you need to tighten a nut to join the wood. Given the soft nature of the wood, it needs to be super tight and there's not a lot of room for standard tools.

As for the build.... unfortunately, after 2 months with the desk, the far right leg of the return seems to be at a slightly awkard angle. There's definitely a gap where the leg joins the wood. Two screws attaching the long crossbar to the wood have fallen off from underneath the desk. The screw just stripped right off the wood because the wood is too soft. The source of this stress seems to be a combination of the joint between two large panels of soft wood, the weight of the wood itself and having inadequate screws for the type of wood. I'm not a wood worker, but it seems like you need a better joining mechanism and better screws to account for the wood compressing from movement or use. Also, after 2 months of use, I find myself encountering the dreaded E07 error where the leg heights of the three legs are *slightly* out of balance and I have to "reset" the legs. I do this a couple of times a week now. I'm sure that doesn't help the stress on the far right leg of the desk.

I tried emailing support but unfortunately, not very helpful. While their offer to send more screws is nice, it will not address the issue of soft wood and inadequate support build for the soft wood.

I *WOULD NOT* recommend anybody purchase the red cedar wood for an L-Shaped desk. You might have better luck with a harder wood (eg. walnut) or if you really want the red cedar, stick with a single pane desk.

The product itself is excellent, easy to use, and easy to install. I have had mine for two years when my nephew broke one of the wires accidentally. I was in a live chat with an extremely helpful employee in less than a minute. And within 5 minutes i had a resolution for a part replacement. Excellent customer service. Would recommend for anyone who spends a lot of time behind a computer screen.

Product quality is great -- at the low end, it's wood of better quality than what you'd get at office-max, very easy to assemble, and ultimately looks very nice. The product quality might seem sub-par to the price-tag, though what you're paying for is the warranty.

A part didn't come in the first order -- they replaced it no questions asked. They also sent me a replacement mobile pedestal because mine did not lock. The replacement was free, there was zero hassle on the phone requesting it, and I had to do nothing extra to receive it except bring it into the house.

The uplift desk is very nice, as is the Raynor Ergo Elite Chair. I'm very comfortable and thankful.

I've been using it for over a year now. Totally love it. I'm selling off my 48"x30" to upgrade it to 80''x30''.

The only problem I had was on choosing the desktop. I wanted a wood desktop. It was difficult for me to settle on one because the images on the website weren't detailed enough. If there were say, 5 to 10 hi-res, color-corrected, photos of each wood type, that'd have helped.

Okay:
= Construction was a tiny bit more complicated than typical office furniture. Completely manageable but may require some drilling depending on elected customisations. Not an issue for the DIY-ers out there who are fine with drilling into brand new desktops to install keyboard trays etc... but might be daunting to anyone who hasn't picked up a drill in a long while. Remember, measure twice, drill once.

Cons:
- Entirely situational but COVID-19 has forced a backlog so the wait might be long on some configurations (it's completely worth it though).
- Minor quibble: Quick adjust keyboard tray use instructions could use a little clarifying but is easy and fast to use once understood. To adjust height, first tilt tray up without using the tilt adjust knob (to disengage lock) and then push/pull down/up to adjust.

Using a standing desk at home has truly improved my COVID-19 work-from-home situation. We're all pulling longer hours now that everyone is in zoom/webex meetings all day and having a desk that allows quick and easy transition from sitting to standing (and to wobbling about on the motion-x board) at various points of the day really improves comfort and minimizes fatigue. The desk itself is commercial grade, absolutely rock solid, and I can see it providing many decades of comfortable and reliable service.
While the product itself is quite the over-engineered marvel, the true strength of the uplift company is in it's people. Despite the careful and ample padding provided with the shipping boxes, FedEx managed to spear the box containing the top, resulting in broken fibers on a surface near a critical working area. A couple emails to the wonderful support staff later (props to Dylan) and a replacement was in the system -- slated to be delivered when stocks were replenished. This team is dedicated to the customer and they stand by their product.

Overall very pleased with product and service. Will likely purchase from them again if the wife gets desk envy in the future.

Desk quality is great however my entire experience was ruined by the quality of customer service received over the course of the last two months. It took a total of three separate orders between two agents in order to send me the correct items, and in between those orders involved me reaching out on several occasions for status updates only to find out that the agent responsible for updating me with an invoice had forgotten to (this was after I had patiently waited two weeks assuming it was just taking a while due to traffic). I don't often write reviews however if you're thinking about Uplift as your desk solution know that though they have many service agents to communicate with you as needed - their service bar and professional standards are mediocre at best.

I did a test drive with a "sit-on-top" stand-up desk, but after 3 months I was ready to commit to the full workstation. I landed on Uplift based on product diversity and how the solotution would fit my space. The order arrived promptly and my facilities team tells me it was easy to assemble. However, there was a HUGE error--my error. I ordered the wrong table top length. Measure twice, order once--right? Anyway, after the desk was together, it was evident that this would not work. I called Uplift, which actually answers the phone on a SATURDAY. Worked through the help desk and got the right size shipped. They didn't take my first table top back, but sold me the right size at a substantial discount of retail price. I'm happy, happy, happy. Great customer service, friendly and thorough.

Nearly every company claims to have great customer service. But if something goes wrong, do they really help you out? Uplift Desk does! I ordered a desktop that just didn't work for me. I wanted to exchange it, and they accommodated me. So long as you're reasonable, they're reasonable. The desk I have now is nearly perfect for my home office; it functions well, is stable, and looks great. I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Uplift Desk to anybody looking for an adjustable desk, and I'll go back to them should I ever need to buy another one. Uplift Desk does business the right way.

When shopping for an ergonomic desk chair, I stopped by The Human Solution showroom to try out some of the higher-end Steelcase and Humanscale chairs. Not only did I receive amazing customer service, my back ended up falling in love with the house brand Uplift Pursuit chair which was 1/3 of the price of the fancier chairs and built just as solid, if not more so. It was even more comfortable (for me) than the acclaimed Herman Miller Aeron I tried out elsewhere. Highly recommend this place if you're in the market for ergonomic office furniture!

The desk was as easy to assemble as promised. All the surprises were good ones. A friend brought my desk (frame only) to Kenya (where our NGO is) and repacked into two suitcases easily under the weight requirements for international checked baggage allowances. I had a top made locally and easily assembled the entire desk taking my time because hey no hurry no worry. It still went fast. Thanks Uplift for the high quality on all the components. I am impressed!!!

Honestly, more of a 4.5 and I ll get the negative out of the way...the bamboo top is not particularly durable. Fortunately I followed directions carefully and protected it as much as I could during assembly but still bumped it a few times and was surprised how easily the finish took damage. If you follow directions then you should be fine, especially because you only really risk scuffing the bottom during assembly. If you re really concerned about durability then consider a hardwood or other more durable top.

That being said...the desk is pretty easy to assemble in a couple hours and I (at 6 3 200lbs) didn t even require a second person to position it upright. I opted for the regular v2 instead of the commercial with crossbar so I could avoid backorders and was worried it would wobble. Those concerns have been put to rest since it is rock solid even when extended to the highest range, which by the way, is crazy high. I m tall but this thing could probably accommodate someone around 6 7 with ease.

Definitely upgrade your wire sorting options and get the memory keypad. You will need the extra wire sorting accessories to keep everything relatively hidden and the memory keypad makes going from sitting to standing to a good storage position at the end of the day seamless. I also have a preset for when I m a bit taller standing on the motion board.

I complained about the bamboo but it is really sharp, especially when paired with the bamboo drawer and desk organizer.

Overall, I highly recommend compared to all the other standing desks I have come across in my work life, which includes the varidesk.

Ordered a 72x30 Ash Gray laminate top, C-frame standing desk. Shipping was quick, but FedEx damaged the top so a long deep scratch ran through the whole top. I placed a Warranty request, within a few days Allison McDonald reached out and got a replacement top ordered for me with just a couple of emails. Spectacular customer service, and the desk itself is a dream to use. Raising/lowering is buttery smooth, and the top looks fantastic. The only problem now is figuring out what to do with the scratched top once the replacement comes in

I have been buying desks and accessories from Uplift for over a year. First for my own home-office needs then again when COVID hit. I need to setup a 'corporate' home office separate from my 'gaming' desk while we're all working from home full-time.

Each purchasing cycle has been a breeze. The customer service team has been great, especially Jamie C. And the products work as advertised. I use a stand/stand desk with multiple monitors, a laptop, multiples phones, and a dedicated IoT setup. The desk handles the load without complaint.

Several of my peers have followed my lead and purchased Uplift desks as well. No complaints.

So I order the mesquite solid wood tabletop and I receive a tabletop that has 5 shades of mesquite and look nothing like the photo online! See the photos. At least have it a consistent same shade for the solid wood pieces. The quality is good and it is thick except the colors/shades. I am waiting for a reply on how to get it the same shade but shouldn t the item at least look similar to the online image of the product? Not in this case. I gave them a 3 stars since my adjustable legs were excellent and I can understand how hard it is to make a living edge table so good job craftsman person but I think this company needs to let people know what they get is not what is shown on the photo.

My desk setup was slightly confusing as I ordered a "Curved Corner desk", but my "Box 3" was for a "2-Piece L-shaped Desk" (I ended up with 2 instruction booklets). I was worried at first that I got the wrong desk, but it turns out I had everything I needed, just with some extra parts in the end. The rest of set-up was straightforward.

I also got the standing desk mat, which is nice and squishy. I love standing on it with my bare feet. I got the under-desk hammock as well, mostly because I thought it was kind of silly, but it's actually really comfortable and I nearly fell asleep in it!

I did a tremendous amount of research for my work desk upgrade, and decided on Uplift. Using the on-line configuration tool (which was very easy to use and had great descriptors of the options) I played around with a number of different options and configurations and settled on the bamboo top with the laptop and display arms.
I chatted with Uplift Trevor Henry, who was able to review the configuration and offer a couple of ideas and support.
A quote was supplied to me. I called in and ordered the desk configuration on Monday 1Oct18, and on Tuesday 2Oct18 I received the base and accessories. On Wednesday 3Oct18 the beautiful bamboo desktop arrived in perfect condition.
In less than 2 hours total, I had the desk assembled and installed.

A few weeks ago my wife and I stopped by to check out Uplift aka Human Solution offices as we were in need of two chairs and two new desks. We had read reviews and wanted to buy not only what seems to be the best, but also a local product. We stopped by the store and the salesman inside ignored us, we quickly realized they were closed due Covid 19, no big deal I get it. We decided to place our order online but still wanted to sit on a chair since 99% of the furniture stores in Austin are still open. They told us no, again no big deal. Figured well, I can always return it and pay $200 dollar shipping back for a chair. I called yesterday and asked if we could pick up our desks in store to save a buck, they told us no, that online order was the only way we could place an order and we could return if we didn t like by shipping them back, sure no problem I ll just pay $500 bucks to ship a 300lbs desk back. Today I was about to place my order, the desk wood we wanted is out of stock until mid September and I gave them a call back once again to see if they could give us a 5% discount or any stupid add-on for waiting almost 2 months for a desk. Well guess what, the lady at 10am on Tuesday, August the 4th laughed at me and said no way, they don t do that, but sure as hell they do give discounts to people on instagram. So I just went to varidesk and placed a $4,500 dollar order with them and still saved. Thank you Uplift.

I was having difficulty placing my order for a standing desk and a fixed height desk online. I worked with online chat customer service representative, Cary Anderson. He was polite and helpful. I had to email him my specifications and he quickly got back to me with a quote. He even worked with me to get everything figured out on a Sunday afternoon. Great service and follow up!

I purchased the bamboo curve v2 commercial desk, size 48x30, and added a modesty panel and standing mat for promo items. I bought the upgraded control panel with memory settings. Also purchased at the same time the clamp on power strip and the Range dual monitor arm. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would buy the desk and the monitor arm again if needed. I'll comment on the other two items later.

First, the desk. The frame is solid and heavy, not flimsy. The videos that show people riding up on top of desks like these is no joke - they can support that kind of weight. I was worried about side to side movement from the desk so I went with the commercial version, which adds a very heavy solid cross bar between the legs, and worth it to do that (altho when sitting, the cross bar gets in the way of stretching out your legs).

The bamboo curve top is smooth, flawless, well made. The curve is nice. It makes you feel like you have access to more of the desk and really does not remove that much from the desk surface.

All the parts and instructions are well engineered and straightforward to put together. The only negatives were: one of the 8 countersinks into the desk for the frame, I could not get the screw to go in all the way - but this did not affect the stability or the connection to the desk. And the other negative was the screw size for attaching the control panel and the wire management tray - way too big. I could not get them into that hard bamboo. I grabbed some smaller screws I had to make it work. Either they need to make the pilot holes larger or the screw smaller.

The monitor arms are great - really solid like the desk, capable of supporting really large heavy monitors, and very flexible. They don't move at all while typing or moving things on the desk.

I found the modesty panel to be unneeded. The wire management tray and the extra ties that they provide for managing wires underneath were sufficient for dealing with hanging wires. Plus I placed the desk against a wall so there was no need to hide wires on the backside of the desk. I asked UpliftDesk if they would send me something different for a promo and they did, so that was really great customer service.

The standing mat is great, great cushion for standing long periods.

The main negative from them is the quality of the clamp-on powerstrip. I would not recommend purchase of this item. I had it sent to me twice with the same quality issue. The issue is the metal part of the outlet inside the housing. In two of the outlets, the placement is twisted in the housing such that you cannot get a plug into the outlet. It makes we question if the powerstrip is even safe. Uplift Desk needs to take a look at this product and check their supplier.

Great casual showroom. They let me walk around and try all the keyboards and chairs out without interrupting or pressuring me to buy, but where there to help when I had questions. They had a wide selection and helpful staff.

Their prices were as low as amazon, but I got to try out the equipment instead of making a blind purchase which obviously makes a big difference for ergonomic equipment.

The desk has been amazing to have and use everyday working from home. The 72inch is big enough to support my 3 monitors, computer and hard drives.

I had an issue with the desk tilting slightly and I reached out to tech support. The agent immediately responded and helped me fix the tilt by resetting the desk. Within 20 min it was resolved. Sara Burke should be given a raise btw! I definitely recommend this company.
