Comerica Towers, One Detroit Center Review

Very poor experience. I have had accounts with Ally for years. I recently opened an new Ally checking account and attempted to fund it with a check made out to me by my credit union. The credit union made a mistake and reported the account closed and the check bounced. Instead of contacting me and trying to work out the problem, Ally closed my new account without explanation and without appeal. This is an unacceptable way to treat new or old customers. Further, Ally said they would have a supervisor call me and they ghosted me with no call. I sent the president of Ally Bank a linkedin message asking to explain my experience - again, no response! If you want a caring customer experience, I recommend other banks!

Tallest office tower in Michigan in the heart of Detroit.

I worked on this Great Building when it was first put up! I have always been amazed at the design and architecture that went into this building! I am grateful to have worked with such a great group of people! Many have passed away. Thanks again for the memories!

Whew! This is the second tallest building in the state. I participated in the Fight for Air stair climb here. It is a beautiful building inside and out. I can attest to the stairwells being nice too. Since Bedrock has been in charge it has only gotten better. Adding Townhouse and Plum Market really opened up the building for the general public.

Outright lies, and zero help. Then they blame you. Just terrible terrible terrible. If you have urgent business with them I pray for you.

I was a customer of Ally with an auto loan for over seven years. Towards the end of my loan, my wife died and our last few payments were late. I kept in regular contact with Ally and despite never being late prior to her death, Ally told me they will never finance us again despite the fact that I not only paid off our account, paid all other fees, and paid them extra which they still owe me ($350) at the time of this review. When we were at our lowest point Ally did not practice any understanding. I had lost my job, fallen ill, lost my wife, and finally lost my home. Ally did not care. Then, I needed to get financing again for something else. Ally was not there and not only were they not there they added insult to injury by stating they would NEVER finance us again. I paid your fees, worked with you, and was in good standing until we hit a low point in our lives. But you felt entitled, as though we owed you something more than six years of being a customer in good standing and our continued loyalty once we got on our feet again. Good riddance to you. You are like so many others. You have no heart, only greed. At Ally, your are not a customer; you are a number.

I visited this place with my friend and the main central lobby area was amazing with lofty lounges which were both soft cushioned and brightly colored. They have an elevator which is super fast since this is also one of the tallest building in the state of Michigan. The security was courteous but I did not find any water fountain easily.

The customer support provided by this organization is for lack of a better word...TERRIBLE

Ally has provided the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE we have ever endured. Turning in a lease with this company has been an awful experience. They were supposed to send a representative out to inspect the car in 3-5 business days and they did not send anyone out until 7.5 WEEKS after we turned it in. We dropped the vehicle off at the dealership on July 3 in near spotless condition and it was not until August 25 they came to look at it and now claim there is excessive wear with a dent and scratch that was not there 7.5 WEEKS prior, when it was out of our care. In addition, they refuse to send us a final bill until the truck is sold at auction. We have had countless billing issues prior with property taxes and misappropriated payments. No one at Ally is doing their job effectively nor efficiently. My husband has had to call MULTIPLE TIMES in the last month trying to get answers and nothing is resolved. After spending nearly a dozen hours on the phone, being transferred between multiple departments, he is only ever told a ticket has been filed or he will get a call back and NO ONE ever calls him back. We refuse to do ANY business ever again with Ally. We will be reporting them to the BBB and imploring all friends and family to stay away from this company that tries to exploit good people to get more money. Entirely unacceptable, unprofessional, and disheartening.
