It's a shame for me. That they have not even given me an opportunity to know if I can or can not buy with them because I was sitting more than an hour and nobody cares to give me a service. They should have someone at the reception all the time. I do not know if I'll be back I still want my Ford F150

We purchased our Ford Edge from San Leandro Ford some time ago and the sale went smoothly. The service after sale is another issue. The transmission was making some odd noises so we called and scheduled and appointment for transmission service. The car was dropped off on time and we were told we would get a call later on in the evening. In short, no call was ever made from the service center. Two days later we went to check on the car and were told that the service department never even looked at the vehicle. Per their employee there is only one person who works on transmissions and he was already behind on 7 cars. When the representative was asked why he did not call us he stated that things just slipped through the cracks. So making an appointment for service was completely useless. The service department needs to get their act together. Clearly they could care less about their product.

This store as always had a reputation for trying to get out of warranties and recalls when I was the manager of an auto shop in Alameda we couldn't get their assistance for anything my girlfriend took her edge in there because they had to replace the radiator when it came back AC didn't work one of the horns didn't work when I called them up and told them they left the ground strap off they said it was another problem altogether it wasn't thats I took the radiator out myself and attached a couple ground straps and everything worked great now I have a warranty on my airbag and for weeks they've been avoiding me I let the bureau of automotive repair now and they informed me they knew the problems and referred me to Fremont Ford.

We test drove a 2011 Mustang V-6 coupe The salesman who helped us was Joe. He was very cool and non-pressuring. We came back a few days later, and we talked to Craig, another nice salesman. The sales manager and him went out of their way to come with a good deal, except they went so far to offer us a 2014 Mustang V-6 coupe that was brand new for the same down payment and monthly payment. After long discussions and time to think it over, my girlfriend and I decided that we were going to wait on a new car purchase. I hope that our next new car will be from San Leandro Ford. I really like the no pressure sales approach.

Needed to take my car in for some general maintena...

Needed to take my car in for some general maintenance and to fix a brake light fuse. Found the service center email, and after a little telephone tag (I kept missing the calls while I was at work) the next day, I was able to easily set up an appointment.

I may have missed the option, but it would be nice to set up appointments via email, that way I don't have to worry about missing phone calls.

Overall service was great though!

Great customer service but.... Unfortunately my used 2016 Chrysler 200 got repossessed before I could even make one payment because apparently I was never actually financed in the first place. But I was told we got you approved and they shook my hand and put me in a car that they repossessed about a month-and-a-half later.

This dealership is one of the best in the Bay Area. The Management and the Service Team staff work very hard and deliver great outcomes. I was fortunate enough to have interactions with both the Manager of this dealership and a key Service Fleet Manager "Willie" who's open communication during the course of service to my Ford really help put the anxiety I had about not having Biggie (my Ford's name) at ease.

I wish I should have never bought a Ford Car cause even if it s brand new it s quality is so low that you will bring it for repair. They don t update you immediately with what s going on with your car and they will give you lots of excuses. This is the most upsetting experience I ve ever had in my entire life buying Ford brand.

i bought a 2018 f150 they provided horrible service hacked up my paint job tried to change my choices for leather color. horrible service please do not ever come to this dealer this was my 1st truck that i ever bought. i advise that u do not get a vehicle here they will 1. rip u off 2 lie to you in your face 3 they will mess up your new vehicle. all the service workers do not know what they are doing. i repeat do not make the same mistake that i gravely made. not sure if service department is trained or just hired by family members. sinbad will lie to you n not worry about it. they scratched my truck n blamed me they had several scratches only fixed one scratch n said they ran out of paint promised me some paint never go it its been months now. please do not make the same mistakes i made. all the sales rep wanna fo is make a sale not provide full customer service like its suppose to be since it is ford. the star i rated it with is still too much for them they dont deserve a star
. the sad is part is that they will admit they provide horrible service when told they provide horrible service. i hope ford enthusiasts dont evet buy a vehicle from this dealer.

This is my first time buying Ford here and I met this wonderful sales person Tony who was very friendly and sweet. However, when we started dealing with his boss (asian guy), he was EXTREMELY RUDE. Very cold in nature, zero customer service, he was not willing to offer any deals and talked to me and my family as if he's our boss and owns the company. While we were talking to him he stood up pushed the table and chair and left with this attitude of we can't have business with you F** off type of a deal.
NEVER coming back here again!

If you need to go there for service try to get Billy to help you, He is the only one that will do anything on his power to help you. If you buying parts is hard to find them in a good mood. If you buying a Ford Vehicle, besides all the problems and the waste of time taking the vehicle back to the dealer, is hard for them to honor the warranty.

Super easy dealer to deal with. Billy in service has gone out of his way to deal with Ford Co. on my behalf in regards to some recalls and has taken great car of my vehicles.

As well my last three Ford vehicle purchases have been through this dealer and I found the experience to be very positive. The sales team works as a whole to get you taken care of.

Devasted experience here at the Ford store at San Leandro , California!
My car had an crazy experience Monday June 29th, 2020.
I just got the car this February and at work I started the car up to leave on my 1 hour lunch break. A censor left side kept peeping
"Brakes malfunction fix soon."
And on my bottom right corner was the emergency break lights going off and on with beeping loud sound. So i put the gear on park and turned off the car. The two censor lights on left and right wouldn't go off. I called the dealership i got the car from not Ford store San leandro, CA but third party dealership to report my issue. By this time I'm scared to drive off before I hit someone on my lunch break or die out somewhere having to rush back and clock in from lunch. Guy at dealership said to hang up he gave me the warranty number to call them directly. They'll get the process started. I called and spoke with warranty people told them my situation they advise to call back their same number press #1 for tow truck. Have it towed to a Ford dealership that has service. Have them look at the car see what's wrong and to call them for pricing and how long it'll take so they can move forward. I hung up called Ford San Leandro and told them my situation and to please call me once my car arrives with tow truck. Which was already in place to pick my car and deliver to them. I left my name spelling first and Last. I also left my phone number where i can be reached.
Long story short no follow up Tuesday I decided to go Wednesday yesterday to see what's going on. One guy was so helpful he typed in my name and phone number but I didn't come up in their system. He walked me to my car mind you its around 5:45pm they're soon closing. He went flagged the service manager Paul to tell him about my situation. Talked to Paul and he said he will call tomorrow 12 noonish. Mind you I'm car less asking people for a ride to and from work. No follow up til after 2pm. Kept calling them nada no answer. Finally nearly closing time. Paul picked up the phone and said "A call was made to my insurance and it was denied. They didn't find anything wrong with my car except my two back speakers were blown out and it'll cost me $430 to pay. Since insurance won't cover. In his words decline to pay. Cause its not covered under my warranty. Then he said you can come and pick it up. We hung up telling him we are on the way. Something told me to call and follow up with warranty people. The warranty customer service online said there was never a record of the Ford store San Leandro store calling. (mind you I'm upset already with the unprofessional phone or follow up) then Paul telling me it was denied. (They tech guys didn't find no problem yet still charged an arm and leg) if that wasn't enough. I arrive at the Ford store to pay out of pocket I looked at my papers my name was misspelled. Charolette Finu phone # a whole different set of numbers. Mind u everytime i called i left my name and phone number on vmail or person who answered the phone.
I said to the woman at cashier this is why no one could find me when I called. Oh no we got it. I said my warranty people said no one called or no record. I seen Paul and said "Hey I spoked to my warranty people and he argued that no one called from Ford store. He put up his hands to my face and said "We're closing I need to pick my son up." This worthless unprofessional I wonder how he got a job at this place had the nerves yet couldn't explain not even no proof that he called my warranty people to communicate about the findings of my car. I'm a preschool teacher and the most understanding human on this planet. I felt so crushed angry and upset. I hope you Ford people treat other people with respect. Follow through with what you say you will do. My warranty people said different. Even at check out with Chelsea she couldn't give me proof the phone call was made. So heart breaking. Please use another Ford dealership service who will listen and your concerns and request will matter. These people are just blindly there !

I have been in the market for a Focus RS for about...

I have been in the market for a Focus RS for about six months. I stopped into a nearby shopping center and spotted a nitrous blue Focus RS at San Leandro Ford. I was helped by Brandon who was absolutely fantastic. I asked about a test drive, and this is the first dealer who didn't want to run my credit for a test drive. On the test drive Brandon gave me a total overview of all the features and show me how to work them on his first day on the job. I was up front that I would not be ready to purchase 4 to 6 weeks. That did not bother him at all and there was no pressure to purchase today. Thank you Brandon, I will talk to you soon!

Usually don't have an issue with the service that I have gotten at San Leandro Ford Store for general oil changes and the pre paid service plan. But not this time, My air conditioner was blowing hot air. Needed an oil change as well, brought it in and dropped it off as usual. Got a call saying the back brakes were bad and needed replacement. OK it has 80K miles at what price ?
The price they quoted choked me
And on top of that they discovered a leak but could not identify it could be oil or coolant. And the compressor for the AC unit was bad. Grand total out the door was more than an arm and leg.
Doing my due diligence called around and found a reputable shop that did the same work for $ 700.00 less
And even with my pre paid maintenance plan still got charged for wipers and air cleaner. Where is the Justice
They have lost a loyal customer for service and future car purchases.

Randall is a car guy that I respect and has knows the ins n out of service for my car. He has my Trust because he is always dedicated to giving thee best customer experience, period. He has made my ownership of a fine car enjoyable as it to drive, sadly rare nowadays. Customer service is very good at this dealership n their inventory selection is awesome.

The car is exactly as he said and we think we got a great car worthy of the price we paid. Paperwork was easy, all the administrative issues went smoothly. Definitely loving the car!

I ordered a door glass and vent glass for my Navigator, they took my credit card detail when I asked them to place the order at day first. After ten days when I called again to see if the glasses were there the guy told me they haven't placed the order for partss yet because they afraid what if I will return them after purchase.

I have had Ford automobiles my whole life. From my Dad's hand-me-down 1966 Ford Ranchero, to my first car, a 1987 Bronco II, to a 1997 Ford Explorer Sport, to my two vehicles today, a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid and my new Ford 150 pickup truck.

The reason I have had so many Ford automobiles is because of the service Ford provides for its customers. Recently, my 2009 Ford Escape would not start because the Hybrid battery died. I had to have it towed to San Leandro Ford.

My service advisor, Billy Severs, worked with me to get the car back running. A special battery charger had to come from Ford Corporate to recharge my hybrid battery. Billy kept me informed throughout the entire process. I especially appreciate his thoroughness, professionalism, and his many update calls.

Billy, and his manager Paul, treated me with care and concern. I highly recommend San Leandro Ford to anyone. They will get your automobile repaired and back on the road for a fair price.

Well Ford Store San Leandro, you ve done it again. You serviced my truck and gave me back a leaker. I think your oil change staff needs to be intensively trained at the factory to install oil-pan drain plugs properly. I guess what I need to do is, next time I come to pick up after a service go under my truck before I drive away and look to see if the plug is dripping. Yes?...
This is the most basic of mechanics isn t it? Tighten the drain plug .
Last time I brought it back I had to wait over an hour for you to replace the washer on the plug. I call that adding insult to injury.

OMG where do I start I took my 2015 ford flex in on the 22nd to get a oil change and to fix my AC which kept going off and on I was quoted 1700$ give or take I got the car back later that night and the AC wasn't fixed but I still paid the money and was told by Matt that my part would be in in two days I called Wednesday still no part and then all of a sudden my car starts to overheat I took it in again and left it there for a day a half missing work due to no transportation I finally decided to reach out to them since they hadn't called me and was later told that I would have to pay another 4000$ for a water pump. NOTHING was wrong with my car I just wanted to get my AC fixed THAT'S ALL!!!! And now I'm out of a car completely, I took my ford to the Ford store thinking they knew what they was doing and that it would be in and out now I need a whole new car because I can't afford to pay that. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND I THINK THAT EVERYONE SHOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Scheduling service online was easy and convenient. Staff was pleasant. Online estimate for "value" service (which is what I scheduled) was ~$75, but initial estimate when I checked in was ~$230! I asked why it was so much higher, and it must have been for the highest level of service, because it was quickly reduced. If they had tried to up-sell me, it would have been one thing, but I was unhappy that they tried to get me to agree to something as the default option.

The service department is okay. I like Simon a lot. But I have to give this place a terrible review because the parts department is absolutely terrible. I was told they had replacement keys for my van (I told them exactly what model I had) in stock. I even insisted that they double check and they blew me off. Said "yeah yeah we have those". I drove down from Oakland to have the van rekeyed just to be told that they did NOT have the keys in stock and nobody was willing to accept any fault for this.

Now I'm waiting at the parts counter as three employees are fooling around with the printer and not acknowledging my existence. These guys are so bad.

Our service provider was very knowledgeable on what was going on with the car it took a few days but all in all I think he kept me updated on a daily by letting me know what the cost would be and he also help me look for discounts on the services through a third parties which was through Costco due to Covid I saved 15% on my service

If I could it would be zero stars. I recently purchased a used truck from this dealership and was already pre-approved for a loan through a bank. For some reason they asked me to fill out a credit application so they can find my loan, Biggest mistake. They knew I had an approval that I was adamant about using and still ran my my credit application to multiple banks. After going back and forth for 2 weeks the finance director took over the sale, only to snap at me and throw F bombs at me. To make matters WORSE, he cussed out the bank reps and used discriminatory language. I have never been spoken to like this before over any business deals, I am definitely going to take legal action against this. Be advised that Andy, the director of finances is a neandrathal and a cheating snake. Stay away from this dealership unless you want to be cheated with fake reports, that have been verified, and threats to run your credit to the ground. Fortunately the bank has taken action against them.

Tried dozens of times over about 1 decade to "depend on them for excellent service".

When they had this particular service advisor (I don't think I'm allowed to mention his name), the service WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!

However, since he left, and I've dealt with the service manager SEVERAL TIMES (I tried again, and again), he/they REAMED me for super expensive INSPECTIONS, and then did NOT replace the origingal parts whenever I decided to NOT have them do the work. The worst (which was the final deal breaker for me), I had JUST GOT MY F150 back, with the skid plates NOT RE-installed, they denied it...but, OK....my daughter had an urgent problem w/her Escape, so (knowing of no place better), took it to SL Ford, they dis-assembled, then gave an OUTRAGEOUS fix price (which was 5 times the cost we finally got it fixed for locally!!!), we asked to have it returned, and they returned it WITH BOLTS & NUTS bouncing all over inside the engine compartment, and when I finally got it to the fixit station (that really DID fix it), there were about 3 expensive parts MISSING!

MAYBE.....I'm just the exception....well, YOU decide! And, GOOD luck to you all....(I would recommend staying FAR...FAR....AWAY....maybe in some DISTANT Galaxy...away from SL. Ford!)

I had a 20k mile service performed on my suv which took less than 2 hours. The bonus was I got a free car wash. That s never happen before at any dealership. I m very pleased with the service I received. One last remark, the customer s waiting area is very clean and comfortable.

I would think since this is a "Ford Dealership" they would be more professional and appreciative with their customers. This is the second time we've been disappointed.

She tried to use scare tactics to get me to buy tires from the dealership. "If a tire blows here, that's on you!" Ok, what's on me? A flat tire? That's what AAA is for. Anyway, I went to Wheelworks after, which was much more of a pleasant experience.

Where do I start. The worst experience we have ever had with car repair. The lies, delays, and finally, insults. We re never going back to the Ford Store in San Leandro, and we need a new car. The sales department should wonder where the potential customers are going. One month to get our car repaired; the part will here on Friday, so we ll get it out to you Saturday ; days later well, it s on back order . Next week it s in transit ; days later, it was called back , days later; We don. t actually have the part ; days later we found one, but you have to pay and extra $140 . Finally, after sitting in the lot for a month it was filthy. They didn t even bother wash it before it was returned. We re never going back.

Why do I have to wait 24 hours to find out what's wrong from a diagnostic?That doesn't include repair . Why are you booking appointments when you have to many vehicles to service for the day? It's a big inconvenience when you don't have a second car . Let alone I have to wait 24 hours for a diagnostic at high price.

They could not find the wheel lock ANYWHERE in the...

They could not find the wheel lock ANYWHERE in the car to do the tire rotation. The lock was where the jack was, in the plain view. You kept my car for over a week with no replacement to do alignment!!! I came to ask about warranty on the tires and I did not need to do the alignment to claim the warranty. The service person have not even looked at the tires which were clearly defective and I got them replaced later with no issue. For over a week, I was calling and asking how the alignment is doing, and every time I would hear that it is in the working. And the day where I was supposed to pick it up (my car), I was told the lock cant be found. What means that no one even tried to do rotation or alignment for a week. Overall, waste of time and I will avoid using San Leandro Ford service in the future.

Five Star rating for failure in customer service and satisfaction.... That is a shame this could be a Great Store... I tried to get service for my Ford Ranger and information on parts. The whole experience on the phone with the staff was an episode of PHONE TAG for 10 minutes. It was apparent that the staff was lacking knowledge on parts. Just a run around experience.

Just brought my fiesta in last week as the transmission felt sluggish and didn't go into second gear smoothly (there is a recall on ford fiesta transmissions); they tested it and, apparently it is ok. However, my antenna was hanging out of the header - they put some more adhesive on it to stay in place, but the next day when I got in the car, it was hanging down again. I have my regular service scheduled in a couple weeks, so hopefully they will fix it once and for all when I take back.

Overall I am happy with San Leandro Ford, our last service was replacing a broken driver side mirror plus a Cracked windshield. But without informing us they didn t do the windshield and that is a big disappointing when you schedule your Ford Transit work car to be at the garage.

No worries guys, we found already somebody else.

Dropped off my car on 1/22/2020 for diagnostics of heated seats and they found out what was wrong. Dropped off the car again on 02/05/2020 to get the heated seats fixed and i was promised to get updates... didnt get a single one until i physically had to go to the store and ask. My first phone call update was 02/14/2020 when they said the fixed the initial issue, but there was another issue with the heated seats (but the diagnostic didnt find???). They added to the RO without my consent and began working on it, then i found out when i went in to ask for an update. I was promised again that they were gonna order the part that day and that i can have my car back today 02/17/2020... but what do you know... not a single update and when i called, they said it was nowhere close to being done. Its been 2 weeks since i dropped off my car just for heated seats and they still havent fixed it. They wouldnt give me a rental because im not 25+ and they are just opening their mouths asking me to pay up.

SCAM ALERT!!!!

SCAM ALERT!!!!
Do NOT go to this store, they cheated me by overcharging me and refused to give me a breakdown of their charges, I took my car out of there to be worked on somewhere else - only to find out that they lost some of my parts.
They don t take responsibility and I ll see them in court.
Especially beware of Billy - he is a shady character.
Take your vehicle elsewhere and save yourself the headache and frustration.

Sent to San Leandro Ford our transit van because the anti-thief was activated and we were unable to move the vehicle; we explain to the service advisor Genaro what was the issue with the vehicle and the anti-thief and he recommended to change battery and reprogram the key and asked if I have extra keys to drop them because if they reprogram one all of them need to be down, few days later he call and said the vehicle was ready, came to pick up the van and paid a $1,100 bill, walk out with the keys try to open the van and none of the 4 keys that we give them to reprogram work, I spoke with Genaro and he said they didn t reprogram the keys; I was like so... what you guys did? He s like we change the battery... I have all the documentation and communication on file where they state what they will do; however Genaro continue giving me attitude and saying we bring the unit for a battery issue, so why he asked to drop all the keys at the beginning if the issue was only the battery...since was late and I was busy I told him to get the stuff done and he said it will be done next day; came back next day to get the van one more time and Genaro told me I have to pay another $128 because they forgot to charge me for the battery.... really?? $1,100 for the reprogram the keys(that according with Genaro was not the issue) and next day another $128 for a battery ( that according with Genaro it was the issue why we bring the unit) this doesn t make any sense; on top of that his attitude was not professional, not customer service oriented.
This dealership use to be one of the best ones, I have been working with them for almost 5 years, however the last 2 visits have been really bad experiences. Hope one day they get back a Service Manager that get more attention on the customers service again.

Took them 7hrs to change my oil after scheduling an appointment. Got shuttled home, 4hrs past by called numerous times to get an update on the status of my vehicle as well as left messages all to no avail. Then when I get my vehicle back tgey say I have 2 leaks, when prior to me bringing it there no signs of such thing. Bottom line they suck, and I strongly advise not to bring your vehicle here.

I bought a Focus SE. I love the car, and not just because gas is bumping $5. It handles well, looks great, doesn't feel like a small car. I had been driving a Volvo S40, and this is a better car in every way. The buying experience was great, thorough, and much easier than I would have hoped for.

Best Ford dealer I've ever been in. From answering the phone promptly, making a service appointment and their completing the task ... exceptional on time service. Izzy, my service writer was exceptional. I can't believe I'm writing a good review -- so different then what other dealers do.

I bought a used car from this dealer in last Decem...

I bought a used car from this dealer in last December, and my car's registration will expire in April. I tried to renew registration online, but it shows that my plate number and VIN are invalid. So I called DMV and it turns out my car's ownership hasn't been transferred in this 3+ months period of time!! And of course I cannot renew the registration because it's not "my car". I called the dealer service department and my sales so many times, but couldn't get any response. I feel like once the car is sold, they are done with all the business and don't care about the existing customer at all. Definitely NOT RECOMMEND to buy a car here!

Don't get me wrong, their in person service is great. Their online, email communication, and the service department (the ladies that answers the phone) they are terrible! The ladies who answer the phone are clueless on everything and offer no help or the ability to find someone who does. They have a website to schedule appointment online, AH that is even more of a joke than anything. IT DOESN'T WORK. People, if you love your car, just take them to the dealership in Livermore. It is a drive, but it is WORTH IT! Livermore Dealership staff are great, you are getting the same good service, but at least the people on the phone know they are talking about.
