We purchased our Ford Edge from San Leandro Ford some time ago and the sale went smoothly. The service after sale is another issue. The transmission was making some odd noises so we called and scheduled and appointment for transmission service. The car was dropped off on time and we were told we would get a call later on in the evening. In short, no call was ever made from the service center. Two days later we went to check on the car and were told that the service department never even looked at the vehicle. Per their employee there is only one person who works on transmissions and he was already behind on 7 cars. When the representative was asked why he did not call us he stated that things just slipped through the cracks. So making an appointment for service was completely useless. The service department needs to get their act together. Clearly they could care less about their product.
