I bought a refurbished iphone 5s from Quick Mobile Fix and was initially sceptical as it was in an original box and appeared brand new. I was expecting the phone to show some signs of use. I have been using the phone for 4 weeks and am delighted with it.

Got PayPal involved at which point was told refund be another six weeks, they would have had my money for three months by then. Raised with PayPal, now have my money back. There are other, more efficient companies out there. Use them!

QMF ID: 214441 Well - they have fixed under warranty the phone we bought from them 9 months ago, but only after having initially been queuing to speak to someone about it for over an hour; then despite reading constantly about most repairs taking 24-48 hours to do, waiting nearly 3 weeks from sending it off to getting it back; getting silly and non-informative emails back in response to my asking what on earth was going on with my phone; and then being told my repair (replacement screen) actually doesn't come with the 1 year warranty that is advertised all over their website. They are good for reasonably priced, decent second hand phones, which are delivered quickly, but don't expect any real contact or customer service from there on in. You need to sort this out QMF

I ordered a phone from this site and was told that it would take 5-7 days to be dispatched. Then I received another email saying that there would be a delay in the dispatching the orde due to quality checks . After more than 2 weeks of consistent emailing between myself and the seller about the delay, I decided to cancel my order (it took 4 emails to cancel my order!!!). I was then told that it would take 10-14 days for my refund to be processed. It s been over 3 weeks since I cancelled my order, and after trying to reach the seller on phone (everytime I call the lines are either busy or the call doesn t go through), I ve decided to take action with my bank concerning my refund.

Absolutely ridiculous experience to go through and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY BUY FROM THIS SITE!!!!!!!

Ended up setting up a dispute claim through paypal (initial payment was via paypal) who then refunded my money on their behalf. Sent my phone for a screen replacement 3 weeks ago, expecting it back in a couple of days. There was no confirmation that they d received the phone. I emailed 1 week later, they responded that it would be fixed by Friday latest. Phoned them twice, in long 30 mins queues only for the line to drop. Finally reached them the following Thursday and was told that due to a backlog they hadn t yet fixed it, but the guy told me he d priorities it and call me back the same day to confirm when it ll be posted back. No call came.

Called them on Tuesday, again after long queues, and was told that the phone had failed a technical test after being fixed on Friday, so they ll have to look at it again. I challenged them on their claim that they d contact the customer if there s a delay on their 24-48hrs service, and caught out their lie that the customer services team is busy repairing the phones which is why they don t waste time contacting the customer (yet they speak to the technical team when you query them???). When I said I want my phone and money back if I don t get by the end of the week, the agent hung up on me with a cold, okay then.

Lo and behold, I received an email within half an hour stating the parcel had been dispatched. The phone is working fine, so what happened to that technical test fail???

Awful experience. Sent my phone off on 10th May for water damage repair. Requested an update after a couple of weeks.. no response. Finally on 7th June, A MONTH later.. I asked for an update on the status of my order. At last, on June 10th.. having had NO communication I am told that the delay is because I accidentally selected '4s' rather than 6s' when when I sent in my iphone which meant they had their records all confused. What a joke! a month to figure that out?! Finally on JULY 1st I am sent a quote for repairs. By this time I was so frustrated I just asked the phone to be returned. Now i am being charged 49.99 GBP for just sending the phone in. Avoid at all costs.

Great website, and excellent customer service. Got the full amount that I was quoted for recycling my old iPhone, and found that the company were quick to respond to my queries by email, even at the weekend. Was quite worried as did see a lot of negative reviews, particularly about recycling phones, but I found that the service was absolutely fine. Only small issue was that they were a bit slow, which is why I only gave 4 out of 5 stars.

The worst company I have experienced.

Has taken over 2 months for my phone to be fixed. Screen started to crack 2 days after being repaired and Quick Fix Mobile refused to repair under warranty conveniently claiming it was accidental damage (which was not the case - looks like they try this on with lots of customers - see other poor reviews).

After leaving a negative review they contacted me to say they would only carry out the repair if I remove the review which to my mind is totally unprofessional (is this blackmail???) -

The 2nd time the phone was returned the touch screen was not working!
They have now finally return the phone but the bezel is damaged.

(oh and if you are thinking of replying @quickmobilefix with your 'please contact us at support email etc. I have, multiple times so don't bother trying to make yourselves look like that is a thing! I've now reported to trading standards and will continue to try and make people aware of exactly how appalling your company is as clearly emailing support is a complete waste of time)

I find it utterly mind boggling that this company is still trading. Their operating standards are abysmal and the way they do business is shambolic. I ordered an iphone 7 which never came during the specified time frame. After querying this delay with them several times they repeatedly kept pushing out the dispatch date due to testing. After 3 weeks I had enough and cancelled the order. it took a further 3-4 emails for them to even acknowledge the cancellation of the order.

I didn't receive my refund in the specified time frame. After chasing again they told me that I would not receive it for another 4 weeks. 4 weeks lapsed and they have now again told me I won't receive it until the end of December. Their customer service team are liars, and their whole operation is diabolical. Luckily, my bank were able to allow me a charge back so that I received back my money.

I would urge anybody who is awaiting a refund to either contact their bank to arrange a charge back or open an official court claim. This is the only way you will receive a refund.

Sold a faulty device. Fixed it once for free. The when the issue presented again under normal usage, they refused to do this again or refund the faulty device. The communication is very poor, with emails often containing incorrect information or the company is unresponsive. All timescales were at least 3x the timescales they quote (e.g. initial delivery & repairs). I would strongly advise checking other reviews on this company and not using them at all.

Email reply s are cleverly worded reply s stating things will be done shortly or as priority with no formalised time frames.

The phone is exactly as described and they did let me know about the delay but only on day 6. Can only give them 3 because other places can get phones to you faster than this.

Very similar to other negative reviews. Ordered a phone in the run up to Christmas but very quickly became clear it wouldn't be delivered in time. No communication so cancelled order. Promised refund in 14 working days. No refund and then stopped replying to my emails. Fortunately AMEX were brilliant so didn't end up out of pocket and Amazon came to the rescue with the phone. Bought a reconditioned iPhone 5s from this company. After just 2 months the battery would only hold its charge for 4hrs and the phone got really hot while charging.
Sent back to them for repair and was returned with exactly the same fault. At this point I asked for a refund as I had no faith in their reconditioned phones. Got a point blank refusal. `They also refused to let me chose a different phone, which I asked to do because I didn't want them to just repair mine again and say they have replaced it.
I now have that "replacement", which looks identical to the one I sent back and I am just wondering how long it will be till it fails again.

I purchased an iPhone X online on Monday 10th June. It is still not here and has not even been dispatched, although they promise dispatch with next day delivery within a 7 day timeframe.

When I requested a refund they advised me it would take 3-4 days to approve and a further 28 days to process, which I find unacceptable! I'm obviously without a phone so cannot wait over a month for a refund.

All communication with them has been repetitive yet un-informative and just damn rude. I expect better when making such a high value purchase and would advise everyone AGAINST using this company unless you want to be blatantly scammed and ripped off.

Please, just go elsewhere. You may save a fiver or so with this company, but it really isn't worth it.

So I bought a refurbed iPhone SE on 22nd April. It hadn't arrived by 12th May, and as this had gone way beyond the 10-working-day delivery time promised, I decided to cancel my order. Customer services were apologetic, saying that the delay was due to staff shortages caused by the outbreak. This is fair enough, of course, but there was no mention of this when I bought the product in the first place. Doing so would have been more considerate, but it wasn't the end of the world for me.

When I cancelled the order, I was told that it would take 14 working days to receive the refund. Is that normal? I got no reply to this question when I asked, so assumed that this long wait was also due to the Covid crisis.

So yesterday, 3rd June, after this second waiting period was up, I asked where the refund was. I received this message:

"Owing to the current Government guidelines a few of our departments are working with limited staff numbers and some refunds are taking longer than usual. I have requested our finance department to look into your order and they have advised that you will be receiving your refund on or before the 13th of July. I am aware this date is longer than our standard timeframe but I can assure you we are all working to ensure services to our customers are uninterrupted as much as possible. We appreciate your patience and are apologise for any inconvenience caused."

So in other words, after OVER THREE WEEKS - the financial department finally 'looked into my order'? And then give a new date of 13th July, over a month later? But I'm sure most consumers would agree that it's the tone that's the most infuriating - it's kind of like "Yeah well what do you expect, we're in a crisis you know". Shocking service really, I wonder if I'll ever get my money back at all.

And worst of all: I'm still getting marketing emails from these jokers, which suggests that they're trying to get as many sales as possible before the crisis crushes them. Very dodgy indeed.

And the punchline? I bought the same phone from a rival company for about a fiver more... and it was delivered THE NEXT DAY!

So please, just used a trusted company ok?

Deserves no stars. I purchased a iPhone for my son's birthday (in December). The phone developed a major fault (not able to call etc). I took the phone to Apple who showed me evidence that the phone had recently been at the genius bar for the same issue (in November). QMF then sold it to me as an A grade phone. I sent over 30 emails.I returned phone and they promised to replace it. This NEVER happened but thank goodness Paypal came to my rescue. I can now buy elsewhere. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY.

My third order for refurb iPhones/iPad with QMF. Good service and product. (This order had slightly more wear/scratches than others hence the 4 stars.) If you are going to use a case/protector then the impact is minimal. Phones works perfectly and you have a 1 year warranty. I would be happy to use again for subsequent orders - recommended.

I ordered my Wife an iPhone 6s on the July 3rd. The description was good condition. I was slightly surprised by the fact it would take them 7 days to ship it but in the end I thought sod it, that will be fine.

The iPhone arrived on Friday 13th, I eagerly opened the bag and paper thin card to find a phone wrapped in thin bubble wrap. And guess what ? It had a cracked screen! So I checked back on the order description to ensure that I had in fact ordered good condition and not with a crack, I was right it said good condition. So I thought oh well let s give customer services a call I am sure it will be easily sorted.

Well, how wrong was I. The whole experience was as if someone was carrying out the infinite monkey experiment. My first call was with a chap who s name I forget, but he was useless so it does not matter. Started by denying that it was their problem and it was down the courier not due to the fact it had literally been wrapped in paper to do the 250 mile trip from Ilford to Liverpool. He stated that the only remedy was to have the phone sent back to them so they can asses the damage and further blame the courier, not their inept packing and then resend me a phone if they felt it was needed. So at this stage I agreed, and he would send a courier on Monday to pick the phone up and resend one out that would arrive on Thursday. Foolishly I started to read more reviews about this company and other peoples bad experience, no refunds, phones disappearing etc.

I thought it wise to call them again, to at least get an email from them outlining what would happen with the phone and when I would get another one. It took me 3 hrs and 226 attempts to get through to them. I was greeted by a chap called Adam, who I think had left his solitary brain cell at home that day. So after a rather painful conversation with Adam I finally got an email saying that they would pick the phone up on Monday and deliver a new one by Thursday.

The problem I have now is, I suspect that if let this cracked screened phone leave my possession on Monday, it is unlikely I will ever see my money or a phone again. So, ultimately I think my only option is to cut my losses and have the phone fixed myself. So back to my originally point if you are looking for a quick and easy solution to buying a phone or having one repaired. Do not go anywhere near this company.
