Sent my phone for a screen replacement 3 weeks ago...

Sent my phone for a screen replacement 3 weeks ago, expecting it back in a couple of days. There was no confirmation that they d received the phone. I emailed 1 week later, they responded that it would be fixed by Friday latest. Phoned them twice, in long 30 mins queues only for the line to drop. Finally reached them the following Thursday and was told that due to a backlog they hadn t yet fixed it, but the guy told me he d priorities it and call me back the same day to confirm when it ll be posted back. No call came.

Called them on Tuesday, again after long queues, and was told that the phone had failed a technical test after being fixed on Friday, so they ll have to look at it again. I challenged them on their claim that they d contact the customer if there s a delay on their 24-48hrs service, and caught out their lie that the customer services team is busy repairing the phones which is why they don t waste time contacting the customer (yet they speak to the technical team when you query them???). When I said I want my phone and money back if I don t get by the end of the week, the agent hung up on me with a cold, okay then.

Lo and behold, I received an email within half an hour stating the parcel had been dispatched. The phone is working fine, so what happened to that technical test fail???
