Wasn t that bad a year ago. Ordered wrong item or not fitting, asked to return, they will tell you don t need return, can just dispose and you will be refunded.
Nowadays, ordered the right item, but seller packed a totally different color and different item. As a paying customer I not only have to return it myself to get my refund but I am getting rejected by your partner ninjavan s dropoff points. The merchants/partners that insisted I need a return label where it clearly states no label needed.
After explaining to the CSO, the liveagent repeated the exact same instructions like a robot, perfectly unable to comprehend my situation and tells me to go and return the item again and that no label is required and that if my item is rejected again, only then they will escalate to a higher up.
Wow. Just wow.
As a consumer, why do we have to waste our time and energy to make up for someone s mistake apart from ours as a buyer? If the fault was mine as buyer I accept.
Kindly cut the slack and get working Lazada!
Bought a Mi Note 10 from Official Xiaomi Lazada store. Received a softcopy redemption voucher for Redmi 7a. Went down to Funan outlet, but they only allow claim with physical copy which was not sent to me. Highlighted by the staff there that they can't do anything although it was bought via official online store. I can only email Xiaomi to sort this out. Totally wasted my time and money to go there.
Bunch of crooks. The govt should shut them.down and thrown them in jail for defrauding consumers.

For starters, when the package arrives (3weeks later) you will be shocked to see fake merchandise from china.
Then you call them, complain and demand your money back and ....er, good luck with that.
Only if you want to get screwed twice will you ever buy from them. I deleted the app and suggest you do too.
Generally seems alright if things are ok, but the proof of how good they actually are, are when things go wrong.
Didn't receive an item that their system showed as "delivered", but can't get any help. From the start, they try to push to problem to you by suggesting that one of your neighbors accepted the delivery on your behalf, expecting you to actually go check with all your neighbors to see if maybe someone had accepted it for you. And when I insisted no one outside my unit accepted it for me as I had a family member home the whole day, they showed "proof of delivery" with a squiggle that doesn't remotely resemble any of my family's signatures. Even when I informed them of this, they insist that they can't help you until "the relevant team has investigated".
Finally, their "investigation" revealed that Singpost apparently put the item in my shoe cabinet (I'd checked before contacting them), which doesn't explain the fake signature they tried to brush me off with from the beginning!
Buy from Amazon instead, and save yourself the stress and high blood pressure from talking to unhelpful CS that only know how to regurgitate their policies at you.

Wish there could have negative rating. It is really a fraud company who doesn't value their customers at all. It was my first order. First they sent me a defective item, then when I asked to return, they take 2 weeks to arrange for return, and then when I dropped it to one of the Ninja Point, they can't track it. Even after two weeks, they dont know where the item is and their tracking system still shows that "Item to be dropped off at Ninja point" So even after a month you wanted to return an item, they still dont know where is returned item, Forget about refund. Scammers. NOT GONNA USE IT AGAIN.
Lazada will not mediate if something goes wrong between seller and customer even with supporting documents. My advise to all, if you have proof (eg. in my case, non-delivery after payment for weeks), go to your bank and do a chargeback or file a dispute with your card company to get your refund. The caveat is that you must have had paid by card.
This company lacks ethics - they do not honour their promises. They promised me a refund after I returned an item which was not working when I received it, but after 1 month of silence they changed their mind and refused to honour their promise to refund my money. Disgusted with their lack of ethics. Their Disputes team is obtuse and unhelpful. Avoid the aggravation and buy from Shopee - they have better service
It seems like the entire customer service team is incompetent, looking at how horrible and non-existent it is based on my experiences. I came here to check out the other customer experiences and low and behold, I'm not the only one. Of all the courier services in Singapore, they chose to use singpost.
Prices of the exact same products tend to be better on qoo10 as well, so you're better off shopping there instead.
If you are buyer, think twice when you order from LAZADA, double check their delivery service provider/ partner especially, choose the right delivery company.
If you are setting up business in LAZADA, as a seller, think twice before you select LAZADA preferred delivery partner, especially come to the Japanese cartoon look logo delivery company, because their service is not reliable, late, lousy response, inaccurate in their tracking system, lying by giving false delivery date, and giving false expectation to your customer, even quite a lot of review that the parcel went missing. ENDED up you need to service the angry customer...
If I can give a negative star, I would; moving delivery dates (for a whole month), ran promotion but cannot deliver item, misrepresenting on clients, onboard dubious sellers that do not care about clients; thanks Lazada
Disaster. They sent me an item that was defective. I complained about it. No reply until 3 weeks later, only after I complained another 5 times. Worst thing is, they don t care because they don t suffer the consequences. And so this will keep happening.
Their issued voucher cannot be applied even after paying with the relevant bank card.
Customer service is also unable to rectify the issue, so I ended up cancelling the entire order.
Customers end up paying the price; Very poor shopping experience with Lazada.

Horrible place to work... honestly I purchased a pair of Nike sneakers but the goods delivered is below average at best. Box torn and wrapping terrible. If it is what people can accept then go for it. I still prefer walking into a real shop and feel the mechandise with my hands. Real money for real quality mechandise...

I returned a broken item one month ago but still waiting for the refund. I raised my case to the customer service. The first one told me to wait for 24 to 48hours for further update but did not hear from them after 5 days. Then I contacted them again. They even said there is nothing related with Lazada but only the courier company. I was asked to keep on checking the app for the updated. They don't give help and even don't have any way to make a complaint. If something goes wrong with your order, it is impossible to get any help but only lose your money. I shopped via Lazada because I trusted it. Now I learnt from this bad experience.
Sad to see the old reliable Lazada has become yet another scam shopping platform like Shopee ever since they were bought by Alibaba. There is no longer message box to seller, live chat is actually a bot. Customer service is non-existent.
I received a deformed Air Filter and deformed packaging. Return it immediately. A week later, the status in the system indicate that return is rejected. When i receive the returned damaged filter, whats written on the silp -
1) QC result :failed. 2) QC comments : original seal/packaging broken. Item not broken. This is rediculiois.
i) The filter has another sealed plastic cover. It was not opened. Check on the seller's page. I had send them the image. ii) if something is suppose to be ROUND and when you receive it, it is OVAL shape, LAZADA define this as not BROKEN?
I have been a lazada customer more than 3 years. Initially their customer service rocks. Now they are just arrogant people since they are so big. I have bad experience with them twice. Avoid this platform....
Worst experience. 2 weeks after ordering/paying, I received an e-mail stating that the order was cancelled. During these 2 weeks, I requested several times on the lazada chat some explanations to understand why the order was delayed; I never received an answer. Today, I still have not received the reimbursement.
I will order only on amazon moving forward.

Orders and delivery dates were all arranged with vendor due to COVID situation, Lazada cancelled the order and surprised both buyer and seller.
Their system setup is poor and the autocancellation problem is well known to vendors too. but they claim that item is lost in transit and refuse to provide any evidence or proof. Seller had higher integrity than them and was willing to honour purchase at intended price.
Bad seller service. My payment was withheld without explanation as to why it was held. Terms and conditions written for sellers are not true. Your payment will not be credited within 3-5 days.
Think twice before you start selling on Lazada.
Good follow up emails with customer service but Lazada has little control over their sellers and are unable to negotiate much. Ordered a product worth about $100 that didn't arrive, and this was brought up to the seller with no follow up after 2 months of investigation.
Lazada tried to investigate but nothing fruitful came out of it. But they still compensated me after me pursuing it. Disappointing as it very exhausting. Better experience at a shopee I feel.
Lousy customer service support both chat box and over the help line. I spent a few days trying to my issue resolve. I gave up as it wasted my time and effort. I will just try my best to use my coupons that I paid for as fast as possible and close my account!

I had a non-delivery, asked the seller to refund which they refused (seller got no proof of delivery after I chased multiple times). Called Lazada CSR, who agreed, and after processing, Lazada sent email to reject my refund request with no reason (Aug 2020). I had to chase Lazada CSR again, finally got my money back minus delivery charges (over 2 months, but am glad got back $$). Am disappointed with Lazada because after years on buying things online (mainly from overseas), my first encounter with such poor service. Had to go buy from a retail shop afterwards.
Terrible service , no updates as to what will be delivered when and it takes over a week or more to get from Lazarda what I can get from Amazon Singapore overnight. Not clear why anyone would use this now Amazon is in Singapore.

Lazada might be good for customers but obviously not for retailers.
For mon Lazada has been pushing out our payments, even though the customers paid and received their goods.

I ordered a mini cooler. The item received was not working. I requested for return the goods. LAZADA responded that they will arrange to pick up the item. But no one come to pick up the item. I tried to contact LAZADA in "contact LAZADA" few occasions but no response from Lazada.
Two months has passed and still no one contact me about the case. Suddenly I received a notification today saying I have cancelled the return request but I didn't do it. This is ridiculous.
If Lazada cannot solve the issue, I will stop buying anything from Lazada and I will also proceed to uninstall the Apps.
Lazada has zero control over its sellers. Majority of items claiming to be shipped from Singapore actually come from China. I have had multiple items not show up, incorrect items, and even returned items only to never receive a refund. All together I m out $90 and has Lazada offered little or no help to customers that have been cheated by sellers. Don t waste your time or money. Use Amazon or overpaying in stores is actually a better option in Singapore.
Its been two months, still did not receive my refunds . NEVER EVER buy from them again. Finally receive after 3 mths after told them will post online regarding this incident.
Bad customer service. I bought a Wii game game which turnout to be good only for American TV system, although that was not detailed in their description of the product. It is true that I could only claim after a few weeks because I had been abroad, but in a case like this, where they are omitting a basic part of the description of the product, I think they should take responsibility and change/refund. Wont trade with them again.
Terrible selling experience with inflexible process and exorbitant fees
I use their lazada wallet to make payment. After money deducted, it still say pending payment and cancel it without my consent. Then I send my enquiry, the lazada agent say will refund me back within 24 hrs, but I waited for 2 days still haven't refund me back. I need my item very urgently. Its their wallet have error, but make my boy birthday present to be delay. Lousy lazada wallet.

Yes, there are times your order arrives with no hiccup. But if there is a hiccup, even if it's a minor one, don't expect Lazada to provide a proper follow-up with you.
You'll be left hanging with a lousy chatbot, customer service reps who can't seem to solve the company's own issues (such as providing a refund), and a whole lot of time wasted.
In my most recent experience, I was given a voucher code as a refund for a wrong item delivered (because Lazada claimed it could not provide me with a full refund on the credit card I used). And guess what? The voucher code doesn't even work, which means I have to go through the entire tiring process of contacting their customer service reps again.
There is also no accountability with the sellers as they are allowed to get away and continue selling despite sending low quality or misrepresented products.
I also cancelled my LiveUp membership after they took over RedMart because they insisted on incorporating the entire RedMart app on the Lazada app , rendering it user-unfriendly. Pity since RedMart was such a good place to shop until Lazada completely ruined it.

Please DO NOT buy from Lazada. Received a physically damaged item and their return policy is horrendous. No exchange, only return and refund. Their official seller, Live It Up, provide exchange but you need to personally go down to their location to do it. For returns, you have to waste time to drop it off at the ninjavan dropoff points. What's the point of buying online then? Have to pray everytime you make a purchase? Better off buying from Qoo10 and Shopee. Qoo10 will arrange for pickup from your location and Shopee will reimburse whatever courier company you used to return the faulty products, without you stepping out of your house.

Writing this from a seller's perspective. The seller centre is quite user-unfriendly, and it's not even clear what shipping options I'm offering to customers. Attempting to edit product offerings in the mobile app doesn't work either - they don't get updated so you have to do it in a browser anyway. They also hold your money for much longer than Carousell or Shopee.
The so-called "Help Centre" is so useless I sometimes wonder if I'm talking to bots. They often don't seem to understand what you're saying until you've repeated yourself in multiple ways. I had a customer wanting to buy multiples of an item from me but unable to add that amount to their cart. I had the stock listed at more than that, so it wasn't a stock issue. I contacted the live chat to try to figure out what was wrong. They checked and told me that I have 200 in stock (more than what the customer wants), which I already knew and in fact had told them.
Finally I got them to understand the the customer is unable to purchase the quantity they need, but got a stupid suggestion for them to ask the customer to check out separately more than half a dozen times as the system limits the purchase of an item to 10 units per transaction. At no point did they apologise for this nonsensical way the system is set up, but instead kept arguing that having a customer go through the check out and payment process multiple times is "not complicated or inconvenient". Even if you don't have a solution, the basics of customer support is to reassure that something is being done about their concerns. At the very least they could have offered to forward my feedback about the system limitation to the relevant department to check, and definitely not have argued that it's fine to inconvenience and irritate customers.

Online: didn t respond well to live chat even though i only had one order with them, kept asking which order it was, just wanted to get off the chat.
Delivery: Their delivery guy decided not to even dial/ring up the intercom, even though we were at home. Just defaulted us to collect.

No Customer Service! Bad experience dealing with them! Hotline provided by live chat agent is not working! Do note the live chat agents and the so called managers are located in Philippines. Requested to speak to local rep..... they said they put up urgent request.. but I am still waiting !
In summary , wrong item send, wrong size, sent item is of lower value, instead of replacement, they need me to return first, wait for investigation which takes another 2 days then replacement to be arranged and sent within another 4 business day!
The point here is YOU delivered the wrong item ! NOt that I made a wrong purchase and I choose to return!

1 star review as they cheated me as a seller. I recommend Qoo10, cheaper and better than lazada. Was on their old manual shipping system, left them for a while as was busy with other work, came back, got an order, sent out using manual system, customer got item, then they still did not pay me. Why? As I did not use their automated system. Further idiots must have refunded customer and given him addition $15 voucher. I am sure he must have been grinning at these idiots, get product ($100+) free, full refund, plus additional voucher. I do not buy from lazada as mentioned, my Singapore E commerce choice is Qoo10, fair to both buyers and sellers.
The reviews here are true - Lazada is worst in class when it comes to customer service. I have enough emails from them to prove that their "Customer Care Specialists" do not know how to care for customers at all.
Another proof; they don't even bother replying to reviews here or attempt any improvements.

Worst e-shop ever, don't trust them. I ordered an Iphone on 27 March, on lazada birthday, and I did not get it yet and every time I talk to them they lie and say we are working on it but if you want to cancel go ahead, I paid 5500RM for this iphone and waited so long and they say cancel, like am going to get my money back. Don't buy from them they are a bunch of scammers.
Horrid experience, paid for something that never get delivered. Email ample times and no response is given. Respond to rating feedback survey sent by lazada to feedback on the non delivery but no reply from them. My only consolation is that I had not spend much on my shopping, but I will never shop with lazada ever again. Even NTUC delivery is much more reliable.
They only need your money. Once you paid consider it gone. No customer support. No issue resolution. The company is absolute scam. They still owe me money to credit to my bank account it is estimated at $7,000 sgd. and they keep saying they will credit but their ethics and ecommerce system is just there to take your money. Shameful

We have always purchased tech stuff online, and this time we ordered a MICRO SD 128GB, SAMSUNG EVO. It can defected and it was Christmas holidays by the time it arrived, and you are only given 14 days to process a refund for product defects.
I ordered on 16 Dec 2017. So by the time i highlighted the issue, it was past 14 days. Also, i thought i did not know how to use the product, and by the time i try it on my friend's phones, i realize the product is spoiled.
I am quite surprised to see the reviews here, i should have checked the reviews before i purchased an item on LAZADA.
The platform did not allow us to leave a review for the seller, there was an ERROR. And when I reached out again, they said i never reported this issue.
Their customer service actually tried calling me a few times in Jan 2018 but i was either in a meeting or overseas.
Then they did not even email or do anything else to follow up.
Super bad experience. They said they will take measures to ensure this will not happen again. And i told them, it will definitely not happen again because i will never purchase with LAZADA again.
And they offered to give a maximum of $10 apology voucher. The lady who offered the apology letter disconnected as i did not reply the chat within a few minutes, and i had to start a LIVE CHAT again. I am still waiting for their email and $10 voucher.
if you are going to use ninjavan for your deliveries, your reputation is going down the drain.
this LAZADA is the worst platform for sellers, of all the platforms we sell, this is the one that is difficult to manage and due to its mass system bugs and loopholes, invited a lot of crooks and shameful buyers who lowly grade a product/service despite speedy delivery & good quality, click returns and refund for no reasons and you have to keep looking for support to help resolve problems
