They have adopted the mentality of instead of working out any reasonable deals "I'll sell it to the next sucker that walks in through the door." I would not buy anything from these people based off multiple attempts to have a reasonable conversation let alone actually purchase a vehicle.

Initially after getting the work done, I noticed some problems, and the service manager and staff did all which was necessary to make the corrections. I greatly appreciate the "effort to please" with the repair crew and staff. My 10-year old Yukon is running great, with no problems, and most of important to me, my wife is happy to have her vehicle back! Thanks Tyson!

Glad my wife and I chose Joyce Koons GMC for our pre-owned Toyota Highlander. Go there for a new or pre-owned vehicle and ask for Salim. Down to earth and "chill" as my wife described him. Takes you on a very generous test drive of whatever vehicle you're interested in. Prices are fair. I felt like we got a great deal and won't hesitate to go back. They have great inventory and the Highlander was in perfect condition! Thanks for a trouble-free vehicle purchase.

I dropped my car off at 7 am. I was taking it in for a 6 month inspection and oil change as well as having two minor things looked at. I was asked when to expect my car to be done. I was told within a few hours. I called the service department at noon and my car still hadn't been looked at. I called again at 2:30 and the service department had just finished the 6 month inspection. They had not even gotten to the other two items. I got a call around 4 telling me my car was ready for pickup. I'm not mad about the service as I think they did a great job. But I am irritated that it took so long. If customers who wait at the dealership are higher priority, then I should have been told that. I think if they gave you a better time fame as to when you could expect your car to be ready, I would have been much happier. My wife and I had to drive in rush hour traffic both ways.

We were looking to buy a new car. I did a lot of research and test drove a couple of different brands. My search lead me to this dealer and the minute I walked in I felt very comfortable. Tony was my sales person. I was able to test drive the Acadia and he showed me a couple of different options and even explained the difference between the 2017 Enclave and the 2018. I expressed what I wanted and instead of sitting and talking for hours, they explained the numbers quickly to me and got me in and out fast. Exactly what I wanted at this poInt in time. I was already very confident that I was going back there to purchase my vehicle. Two days later, after a couple of emails, we were back there, purchasing our GMC Acadia. The dealership made this whole process very painless and transparent. Loved it! I would definitely go back there if I needed to buy or lease another vehicle. I don t think I have ever been this impressed by a car dealer.

I have purchased all three of my last three new vehicles from Koons in Manassas, with no hassles or regrets whatsoever. In 2004, my wife and I drove the lot one night while they were closed, and we picked out the vehicle we wanted (they had the exact options in stock, and we had already researched everything out and knew to the penny what it'd cost for a GM Employee). I called that night, left a message with the stock number, and my first sales consultant, Bill, called me back the next morning to come on over, where he helped me work through the GM Employee Purchase Program. He made sure I also received all other financial incentives and rebates, walked me through operating all the features, getting OnStar and XM activated, all with no upselling. The only upselling you might experience is with the options for undercoatings and paint care, upholstery care, etc., and if you kindly tell them you're not interested (which I wasn't), the sales pitch will quickly stop (unlike the hard sell from some other places). Upon my return at the end of 2006 for my second purchase, I was surprised to learn from them that Bill had actually passed away. I was saddened; however, Koons has a team of excellent folks, and Sam Butler was there to help me with the new GMPP purchase and trade in. He worked with his sales manager and they ultimately offered me what was a fair deal on my trade-in (a gorgeous 2004 Yukon XL Denali) on the awesome new 2007 Yukon XL Denali. My first ever cash vehicle deal -- it was great and Sam was a professional in every respect. In fact, I returned again last year to replace my non-GM daily driver with a 2011 Buick LaCrosse CXS, and Sam was there to help me again. He made sure that the dealer-installed options were ordered in quickly, and that my service appointments for handling the install and final prep were all taken care of. My F&I guy (Mr. Stapleton, I believe) found an awesome rate for financing my vehicle through one of my current banks, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase or my after-sales-care. I could only top my experience here if this last deal would have been a cash deal as well... ;-)

SERVICE:
Comfortable waiting area, free WiFi and coffee, as well as a semi-private business work area you where can set up and take care of your own business while you wait. On top of that, let's not forget the actual service: Koons service advisors are thorough, and I've never had a problem that they couldn't resolve, though I have had to come back for minor adjustments, which was not a big deal to me, as I live fairly close. They treat me with respect and are thorough and quick to take care of each of my three GM vehicles that I have them service. Sign up for the mailing list, and they will email (and snail-mail) useful coupons to you. In fact, Tyson made sure I received the coupon for a free VA State Safety Inspection on my last visit, and takes good care of me on the rare occasions when I need to come on for other non-routine service. I just call ahead, and he fits me in even with relatively short notice.

BOTTOM LINE:
Joyce Koons GM is an excellent dealership that doesn't waste my time screwing around with annoying upselling, and has professional folks both in Sales and in the Service departments who handle my questions and needs quickly and efficiently. I'll continue to make this my one stop for both my new vehicle purchases, and my GM service needs.

My experience was great with the service personnel that helped me, namely Jessie Bussard. Jessie helped me in every to get my car fixed. Even though the cost far exceeded the amount I was willing to spend between Joyce Koons and Classic Auto, Jessie allowed me to leave the car there until I could get a junk car buyer to come and pick it up--which took two days.

Hopefully the rest of your staff is committed to customer service as Jessie. If so, I will certainly consider Joyce Koons as my top of the list go to when my truck needs repair or I buy a new Buick or GMC.

I had a wonderful buying experience at Joyce Koons. James Ward was an excellent sales person. I went in knowing exactly which vehicle I wanted to purchase and he met me at the door and quickly brought the vehicle around for a test drive.

He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle that I wanted and made sure that I understood all of the new technology during the test drive and before I left the parking lot after completing my purchase. He also called and emailed the next few days to make sure that I wasn't having any issues and answer any other questions that I may have had.

Took my Tahoe in for service, they replaced rear pads, ground rotors, changed oil and other fluids and applied 3 separate coupons so I could get max discount. I really appreciated this as other places only allow 1 coupon at a time.

Thanks to Patrick Bryant - I had a wonderful experience in purchasing my 2012 Yukon Denali. I knew exactly what I wanted in regards to the color, options, etc. Patrick found a Yukon Denali nearby in the right color; however, it did not have the power running boards that I really wanted. Patrick continued his search until he located the color I wanted with all of my required options. There was only one exact match which was 400 miles away from his dealership. He sent out a driver that same day to pick the truck up for me and bring it back the following day. He told me he wanted me to get exactly what I wanted and he would do whatever possible to ensure that happened.

There were specific rims that I wanted as well. A different set of rims came in because the rims that I wanted were on a six month hold. Patrick told me he would find the ones I wanted. After an exhaustive search, he was able to find the set of rims that I wanted at a different dealership. Patrick went above and beyond to ensure I received the exact vehicle that I wanted and to also make me feel comfortable throughout the entire purchasing process. His excellent and personable service made me want to purchase a chrome package and upgraded factory rims from the dealership which is something I had never done before. Patrick maintained consistent contact with me via email and phone to ensure I was kept up to date on the status of my aftermarket purchases for my truck.

I have purchased seven (7) new vehicles to date, and I have never received the quality of customer service that I received from Patrick. He made me feel like he genuinely cared about me and my purchase. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced with selling cars. Patrick has a customer for life, and I highly recommend him to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

I have always had excellent service experiences at Joyce Koons GMC. My Service Advisor is very helpful, thorough, experienced, accommodating and professional. This is the second automobile I purchased from Joyce Koons. The service I receive is always exceptional. I have been dealing with my advisor for about 6 years. Unfortunately this second purchase has not been as favorable as the first purchase. This particular vehicle, has been given me problems from the time I bought it. However, the Advisor, the Service Manager and all of the Specialized Technicians with whom, I have had a face to face with, have been very attentive to the issue and very helpful to try and resolve it. What can I say; every now and again, you get that brand new piece of machine, right out of the box, that just does not do what it is supposed to. None the less; I have faith that it will be a good outcome. Thank you Kevin and Joyce Koons for standing by your service and your product.

This is my second poor experience in about 7 years so normally I would still recommend your dealership. I have come to choose Joyce Koons as my 'go to' for service. On this trip the advisor/technician completed my oil change and I was able to pickup my vehicle within 2 hours for the first time ever (using the drop off service). All seemed well until the next morning when my car began knocking. I thought back and recalled no change in gas or other major changes. I called to make an appointment to bring the car back in. After waiting on hold 5 minutes someone picked up the line then immediately disconnected. When calling back the operator tried to transfer me to various extensions with no luck. Each time I was transferred back to her she asked me the same questions. Finally she said that someone would take my name and number and take my information to the service team to have someone call me. She again asked the same questions (have I spoken with someone, is someone specific helping me) which I finally responded with I've advised you several times that I have not spoken with anyone yet. She then cut me off to explain that she takes many calls per day.... The whole experience was very frustrating on top of the fact that I still have to figure out what happened to my car. I am more than confident that I will not be a returning customer.

You seem insistent on getting my comments. While the overall experience was pleasant enough and the personnel were all friendly and supportive, my problem was not resolved. The result of my recent visit is that the 4WD alert is still showing up. I was told that a $300+ diagnostic might find the problem (and my truck is out of warrantly). I originally presented the truck under warranty with this problem. Your staff could not find the problem. The second time I brought the truck in, you convinced me that a $145.00 dollar software upgrade would solve the problem. It did not. This third visit seems to portend a series of visits where I keep paying for additional diagnostics without a resolution. By the way, during the first visit, the problem presented itself during check-in; so I am not imagining the issue.

Went in for initial oil change on a lease vehicle. Appointment was at 11:15. I left the dealership at 2:15. 3 hours for an oil change is unacceptable. I was never told that with an initial service on a new or lease vehicle, the techs must do a full diagnostic prior to service. If this was COMMUNICATED to the owners it would have influenced my decision.

My sales consultant Joel was great to work with. He was laid back, not pushy, took time to answer my many questions, and didn't try any mind games. He was there to facilitate my decision, not force it. He directed me on a thorough test drive and encouraged me to have fun and get to know the car... not like some dealerships that only let you take a 5 minute drive around the block. Finalizing the sale was easy and relatively quick.

Tyson, in the service department, has been wonderful to work with for the past 2 years since we bought our Acadia from Koons. He is always very friendly and asks about my kids if they aren't with me. They are usually disappointed when I don't take them because they love Mr. Tyson. I feel confident in knowing that he looks out for me and my car. He has always been patient and willing to answer any question I might have about the car of the service provided. He is the reason I continue to use the Koons service department.

WARNING: DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! I went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation. I ended up getting told that I needed to get the minor maintenance service. I dropped my vehicle off this past Friday and was told that I needed to get my brake fluid flushed, as well as have my oil pan re-sealed due to some sort of leak. I went ahead and got all of their recommended services done to my vehicle, and picked it up on the following Tuesday. I drove the vehicle Wednesday and experienced no issues, however on Thursday morning (today), when I attempted to drive to work, I literally almost lost my life. My brakes completely went out and I had to swerve to the side lane in an effort to avoid hitting the lady in front of me. I had no time to even see if there was oncoming traffic when I swerved because it happened so fast. Immediately after swerving, I pushed down on the brakes as hard as I could, put the vehicle in park, and turned it off. I had to restart it, and then attempted to drive back to the dealership. On my way back to the dealership, it began to malfunction again while I was on one of the most busiest highways (66). I immediately pulled over on the side of the highway and called the dealership so that they could come tow it. To add insult to injury, upon me explaining what happened, they told me that they would have a tow truck come, and after 30+ minutes I found that they never even called the tow truck company. Chris from the dealership told me that he gave me the number to call myself, despite the fact that he asked me what my location was on the highway. I then called the tow company myself, who informed me that the call needed to come from the dealership in order for the dealer to pay for the service, so I had to call the dealership yet again. Now, I'm sitting on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck. I could have lost my life twice due to their negligence in servicing my vehicle properly. In fact, I didn't even have these issues before they touched it! Now, I can't even drive the vehicle. To be continued...

We leased our 4th vehicle from Koons recently and have nothing but great things to say about the team there. Phil Marinakos made the process of turning our past lease in early and getting into a new lease easy and everything was done as quick as we needed it. There was never a sense of being pushed to do something we didn't want to do, only a sense that Phil and the team were there to assist us with our needs. I would recommend this dealer and especially Phil to anyone looking for a new car.

One of your courtesy vehicles drivers operating Vehicle #13 nearly caused me to get in a crash as the driver failed to stop at the stop sign this morning 12/28 at 10:03am at the interchange of Harry J Parish Blvd and Clover Hill Rd near Manassas Regional Airport. I have the right of way to make any directional turn without stopping as I am on Clover Hill Rd approaching Harry J Parish Blvd while those vehicles on Harry J Parish Blvd must come to a complete stop at the stop sign. Please talk with that driver and advise him to follow all posted signage.

I want to share my very frustrating experience with this dealership s finance department. Specifically, after I sold my car I requested cancellation of the car s extended warranty (nearly $1,500). I went to the dealership and filled out the form on October 22. I was told that Finance Manager Mr. Diego Gonzalez will contact me shortly . No call, so I called Mr. Gonzalez on November 7 only to find out he could not find my form. So I emailed a scanned copy of the form and requested confirmation he received it. No response. Since then, I left voice mail messages and sent emails and received no response to either, and no payment received so far.... I have been a customer of this dealership for over a decade and have never received this kind of service. I bought my new car elsewhere this time and am very happy I did.

I was told how great the the service was at Joyce Koons, i'm a real stickler when it comes to good service.My husband decided to call and test them to see if we get what you normally get from dealerships.....constant hassling!My experience was none other than exceptional. After speaking to Charles Carlson and we set up an appointment, he kept in touch but not hassling me.He sent me directions so i wouldn't get lost since i was traveling from Maryland, that was a plus! It was on a rainy Saturday 52 miles away from my home, i really was not in a good mood to be car shopping knowing buying a vehicle is an all day event. When me and my husband arrived at the dealership we went over everything that was discussed over the phone....including price. We test drove the car and Charles and Pat answered all of my questions and there were many of them of course. Ed Dove came over and introduced himself and made sure things was going okay. Although i had my own financing, Jay in the finance department was awesome...pretty straight forward. Misty was great and of course she sold me on the paint protection. When it was all said and done we purchased a 2013 GMC Terrain and i love it!!Everyone there was personable and we enjoyed having great conversation while making a big purchase. We were there most of the day and my husband and i agreed it was the best experience we ever had buying a vehicle.I've I have been recommending Joyce Koons to everybody!!!

Just bought a new car from there and it was a great hassle free experience over all. My salesperson matthew nguyen answered all the questions in a professional manner. Sales manager Tim sticked to his promise to get me 1.9% apr and finance manager Bezad is nice and professional. No force sales or lies. They stick to their word. I would 100% recommend them if you are out in the market for a new car. Everyone there is really friendly and welcoming.

I went through autotrader to get an appraisal of my 2005 BMW 325 Xi and was honest throughout the questionnaire. I even called to make sure the offer wasn't a high estimate and was told by Bianca that the value was a ballpark and vehicles often assess higher than the online value. I didn't want to come in if it was going to be a $1,500 less offer.

I then wasted 2 hours of my and my wife's time coming in for the appraisal which came back at $1,300 less than the autotrader estimate online with very little explanation as to why it was so low. Had they been up front and honest, I never would have come in in the first place. Low balling on a 10 year old car with less than 100k miles was not what I expected from a dealership that prides themselves on being so highly rated in customer service.

I called when I got home to speak to a manager, left a voicemail, and never received a call back. To add insult to injury, I received an additional email from the salesman the next day offering more information about the vehicle I had been looking at (which I never looked at another vehicle).

If this is how they treat customers, I would never shop here.

Two reasons why I regret buying my car from Joyce Koons Honda: 1. I didn't get a good deal; 2. I bought on impulse (my fault). We wanted a used car but the salesperson insisted that my credit score was "too low" to get a used car and I would have to put a downpayment. He said that with my credit score I should get a brand new car and he, without mentioning the car's worth, could definitely work it out within our budget. No downpayment and affordable monthly payments. We ended up putting a 500-dollar downpayment with monthly payments that are beyond what we agreed on.

We insisted on what we needed and what we wanted--a used car--but the salesperson was too manipulative that he was able to make us agree to check out cheapest model of Honda Civic LX 2014, not to mention buying the car. It was our fault because my husband and I were not able to outsmart his manipulation technique. I'm not sure if salespeople are supposed to be taught to consider the customers' needs but one thing's for sure: Kebir Lakroune was never trained to do that. I think he only cares about his sales and quota whatsoever.

Upon closing the deal with Kebir--no downpayment and affordable monthly payments and almost no negotiation because he never mentioned the price of the car until we check it ourselves on the tag posted on the car itself--we proceeded to the finance manager's office to finalize the purchase. Our deal with the salesperson turned out different to the deal with the finance manager. The lower the downpayment the higher the monthly payment or vice versa. Or no downpayment but 500 something dollars monthly payments. Already in a buying mood we finally closed the deal--at the expense of our budget.

My husband and I regret buying on impulse, putting a 500-dollar downpayment, about to pay $470/month for 6 years for a Honda Civic LX 2014 with 116 miles on it that was not verbally disclosed to us and a small scratch on the hood that, according to the salesperson, was just a raindrop. We regret stopping by Joyce Koons Honda GMC Manassas on our first time shopping a brand new car.

Piece of advice for first time brand new car buyers: don't buy on impulse and don't go to Joyce Koons Honda GMC Manassas.

We had an appointment at 11 AM for an oil change and a couple other misc items. The service was impeccable. Jesse was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We asked if the truck could possibly be washed when they were done. Not only did it get washed but when there was a dirt spot left on it Jesse made sure it was taken care of. I hope Jesse is valued because with the excellent customer service and professionalism we received I would hire Jesse in a flat second.

I took 2 hours out of my day to drive 30 miles to Joyce Koonz GMC go in an test drive a Yukon Denali. My salesperson was friendly and helpful, but after my test drive I was informed that the price of the vehicle was $9000 higher than the price shown on their website and still shows on their website as i got home. The excuse was that 'there is a glitch in the system and it's not really that price.' The sales manager was indifferent to the issue when I told him that was a deal breaker for me and left. This is the very definition of "bait-and-switch", which is illegal. Very much a waste of time and effort. Please be aware if you are getting prices from their website that there may be other 'glitches'.

I like that the manager sent me an email after service with a link to the cars with the payments that I can look at at home. I was able to shop the cars on line in the excellent website. I was able to write down the stock number and give it to the saleman when I brought my trade. I felt I got a fair deal. I also loved that all the title and transfer of Onstar and xm radio was done for me and the plates put on so i can drive away in my new car right away. I like that Steve Hughs shows me the features of the car and teaches me how to work new things. I love love love my new Winterberry red Buick encore. I love the Koons Crown and how everyone there treats me like I have a crown!! Joyce Koons is THE BEST.

Went last night, found a car we fell in love with. Did all the credit papers so when we went back to buy it, it'd only take a few minutes to finish up. Was never offered to leave a deposit to hold the car. Was just told they'd hold it. Called This Morning to confirm they are still holding it and was told they were. Got a call two hours later saying someone else left a deposit on it just now so they're selling it. Bad business practice and would never recommend. If I was told I could leave a deposit to ensure holding the car I would have done that. But they just said they'd hold it without one.

This dealership was recommended to us from a friend. My husband purchased me a new GMC Terrain in August. I went in for the first oil change without any issues. However, the second was the complete opposite. The service department was only interested in money, they did unnecessary work, charged me for things that I didn't need done. My husband, a trained mechanic in The United States Army, was extremely upset. I was asked to write a review, when I expressed that the review wasn't going to be in their favor, I was told that the work was "justified" and they did nothing wrong. That a business of their stature wouldn't still be in business "for over 50 years if they were dishonest." However, they are dishonest. The customer service is terrible and they aren't in the industry of caring about families or keeping customers happy.

It doesn't matter if I go for something small or something large at Joyce Koons Buick GMC. I'm always greeted with people who know what they're doing and people who seem to love their jobs! They have always provided top notch service and strive for do the job right the first time, with a smile, and maybe even a discount!

I'm very happy that I bought my car here and now get it serviced in their service department. I would probably drive quite a distance for them to work on my car but it's super convenient that they're close to home!

I'm not sure the place would run so well without Tyson working there...if you get a chance to work with him, make sure you do!

Late January 2014: Just bought a new Buick LaCros...

Late January 2014: Just bought a new Buick LaCrosse, but since it came from another dealer out of state, it did not have a front license plate bracket, as required in Virginia. The morning after we drove the new car home, Will Coral, the sales consultant, contacted us and said the front bracket had just arrived in the morning's parcel shipment, and we could come in at any time to have it installed. We were amazed that the service department was open seven days a week. We drove there, met a very pleasant service writer, and the bracket was installed in less than 10 minutes. Good service, in spite of the fact that the entire complex is being remodeled and expanded. I know installing a bracket is not a big deal, but the efficiency with which we were handled, the cleanliness of the service department, the uniforms worn by all personnel, all made a very good first impression. I'll be back.

Update, Late March 2014. LaCrosse is a dream car. Tight riding, super interior, sport shifting or normal "drive" shifting. Fantastic satellite radio; USB and MP3 port; Bluetooth; Pandora; on-board navigation; etc. I thought my four tires were all leaking air over a two week period. Took it back to Joyce Koons service dept, who removed the tires, re-mounted them, and a month later, no leaks. Was treated in the same professional manner as I described above. Another item: I sought to get some details about what sales taxes (state and local) I actually paid for the car, in order to report it to the IRS next time I file taxes. It wasn't clear (to me, at least) exactly what those amounts were on the purchase order I had been given the day of the sale. I spoke with the sales manager, Ed Dove, who gave me those amounts, then sent me a copy of the document that spelled out those taxes.

From these critiques, I guess you can tell that I was treated professionally, and that's worth a million dollars in a customer's relationship with a dealer. The price we paid for the LaCrosse was better than ANY we had found on Internet searches. We used a buying service (which invites local dealers to bid on a potential sale) and Joyce Koons' bid was not the absolute best, but pretty close. So we bought the LaCrosse from them. I'm very glad we did. Oh, by the way, in addition to the GM 2-year free oil/lube/tire rotation, plus other long warranties on entire vehicle and power train, Joyce Koons gives you a lifetime warranty -- yep, lifetime -- on the power train if you have it serviced there. Given the fact that the car requires a highly-rated synthetic oil, and given the fact that the oil has to be changed somewhere, I see no reason NOT to have Joyce Koons do that work over the life of the car, especially considering the initial professionalism and courtesy I experienced.

Update August 2014: Took my 2014 LaCrosse to Joyce Koons for lube/oil/filter/tire rotation, which is included in the Buick 2-year maintenance package. Though I was late for my appointment, Tyson Farina took the car right away, and all items were finished in about one hour. The charge was, of course, zero. Tyson also discussed with me some Buick recall items (not related to this car), and responded promptly via email on some followup questions. I'll be back.

Also August 2014: After finishing the lube/oil/filter visit, I dropped by the sales floor to speak with Will Coral about some instruction on the Buick Intellilink navigation system. He was very patient, courteous and professional in helping me resolve a few problems I was having. The system was functioning properly, but the operator needed some additional instruction.

Highly recommend Koons and the entire staff who helped us with a recent lease transaction. The service we received was extremely prompt and courteous, right from the first email. After initial email contact with Wilmer Mejia, there was a follow-up call with Patrick Bryant. He was fantastic and really listened to me when i described our situation and our needs. He was extremely gracious and knowledgeable and really knew his inventory! It was a pleasure to be asked what i wanted vs. being cornered by a 'high pressure sales person' who tried to tell me what he/she thought i wanted. This is the main reason we decided to do business with Patrick and the Koons team including Codie Fravel, even though there is another GMC dealer literally 2 miles from our home. There is a LOT to be said for that kind of service, not to mention Koons worked out a payment that was even lower than what i said we could afford, and lower than the 3 other dealers who were vying for my business. It was nice to feel like we were not being snuckered or pressured! Not only did we get a lower price and more features than we expected but after all the paperwork was finished, Codie made sure we were comfortable with all the features of the new vehicle before we left the lot. Everyone we met was upbeat, experienced and super helpful. It actually made a normally stressful and tedious transaction smoother than we could imagine. If you want to do business with a company that is honest, upfront, professional, and interested in putting the customer first, then do yourself a favor and make sure you speak to the team at Koons before buying or leasing from any other dealer. Went in for a horrific odor from the climate control. Contacted my SA Jessi and was told to bring it in at my convenience. Their assessment turned out to be negative and it took them about 90 minutes to complete. Apparently it was an outside source brought in through the system as it is in fact gone now. I was kept in constant contact via text message as I spent my time walking the lot. As a huge fan of technology, I am glad this dealership offers that service.

I bought my Enclave at this dealership 7 years ago. The purchase was an extremely smooth, pleasant experience. I've had it serviced there regularly ever since, and have always been satisfied with their work. In spite of regular maintenance, the car has had a hard life -- it's at about 100,000 miles now. I recently had it fail on me while I was driving. With the combination of OnStar (equipment packaged with the Buick, with a yearly subscription that more than justified itself with this one episode) and Joe Atkins (Koons service rep), getting it towed straight to Koons with a plan to address it immediately was easy. That meant a lot to me on the side of the road.
Joe kept me informed, with daily (sometimes more) updates, answered my questions, offered additional useful information I hadn't even thought of, and gave me in a loaner. My car needed fuel injectors replaced, and a few other things. Expensive repair, but I love this car and I'm confident it will run well for a few more years, so the fix was well worth it. The car went in to Koons on a Thursday, and I had it back mid day on Tuesday -- at probably one the busiest times of year, near the end of vacation season. It was clean, fully checked over, and felt as solid as it has the whole time I've owned it. We went straight from the dealership to our vacation in it, several hours away. It caused us no worry whatsoever on that trip or since..
I can't complement Koons' competence, professionalism and friendliness enough -- especially Joe's since I worked with him the most this time. All the service staff, and I have worked with many of them over the years, are at the same high level as Joe.
When this Enclave goes the way of all vehicles (sadly), I'll go to Koons to buy the next one. Really, they've made me feel like family.

I had regular service performed on my GMC Acadia on March 26th. I was informed my GMC required some additional repairs and since I was on my way to go out of town for Spring break, I came back the following week to have Joyce Koons GMC perform the additional work. I was prepared with what the cost would be based on my warranty and deductible. I was informed throughout the process and I received a comfortable Buick Regal as a loaner vehicle. The Service Manager and staff were extremely nice. I've had my Acadia for about 2 years and have always had friendly service to date. I was completely satisfied with the work performed. I even asked them to put my Redskins license plate holder on over my license plate tags. I would not go anywhere else for service to my Acadia.

I had to take my 2010 GMC Yukon in for service a few weeks ago. The engine started idling really rough and the service light came on. I called and spoke with Tyson in the Service department. He was really friendly and told me to bring in the vehicle and they would try to fit me in -same day!
After a few hours they had diagnosed the issue and informed me that the repair was covered under the Certified warranty, but they would have to keep my vehicle over night. This was still kind of a bummer, until Tyson informed me that they could set me up with a loaner car until mine was ready.
Once the repair was finished, I came back in and picked up my vehicle. That's it. What a truly wonderful experience! These guys are a real class act. I will definitely take my vehicle back to Joyce Koons when I need routine service or if I have anymore problems.

Philip Marinakos is by far the best sales representative I have dealt with in over 40 years of buying cars. I first met Phil in February 2016 when I purchased a GMC Acadia for my wife. The experience was so pleasant and customer friendly that it was the main reason I returned to Joyce Koon's and Phil to purchase a new vehicle for me in June 2016. In February, I mentioned to Phil I was interested in the new Honda Ridgeline. Since it was not out yet, Phil researched the vehicle, sent me links for information and promised to call me when one came into the showroom. He made good on that promise and I happily walk out of the dealership the other day a happy owner of a silver Honda Ridgeline. Phil in both transactions made my wife and I feel as if we were the most important people in the building. If we had a question, Phil immediately got the answer. He is very friendly, courteous and highly knowledgeable in the products he sells. Even my wife is impressed and she worked in the industry for 20 years. Phil was assisted by Tim Rowan in finance who exhibited the same level of customer service and knowledge in his area. Clearly I was dealing with the A Team. I purchased a used car from Joyce Koons after my existing SUV finally died. Well, I've had to take this car back in 3 times for the same problem, the A/C compressor keeps going bad; bad to the point where it comes apart and it obviously can't be driven since the serpentine belt uses this part as well. Now I understand that this is not a GM product, but when the dealership goes out of their way to state they have trained mechanics who can work on any make of car, I'm not sure how that can be a true statement when a customer has the same problem 3 times in less than one year and the service manager refuses to check with another dealership on why this might be happening. This last time, the car was in Koons for almost two weeks and it's now close to 30 days for the same problem. If this had been a new car, Koons would be looking at a Lemon Law issue.

They offer a great program of free lifetime inspections; however, because it's approximately a 70 mile round trip for me, I believe it will be more cost effective to have the them performed in the area in which I live and pay the fee.

Derek also went the extra mile for me. About half-way home I realized that I had left a CD in my trade-in. I immediately contacted him to see if he would retrieve it and possibly mail it to me. That he did. I received it yesterday.

We had a fantastic experience working with Will Coral in December of 2016. We bought a 2012 Ford Explorer which has turned out to be a very reliable, safe, and comfortable vehicle for our family. Not all dealers are the same. We bought our 2010 Buick Enclave new from Joyce Koons Buick GMC. We ordered it with the features and options we wanted and waited about 6 weeks for delivery. It's always been serviced at Buick dealers - and with 176,500+ miles on it we plan to keep it that way. We've been to other Buick dealers for service and have not always had the best outcome. It's worth a little longer drive for the consistent good service we get at Joyce Koons Buick GMC. Peace of mind may cost a little - but when buying cars that cost well over $40k - gotta make them last!

Walked into Manassas wanting more information on getting a GMC with a $50k pre-qualification. Salespeople were sitting around talking to each other and shooting the breeze. Not ONE person asked me if they could help me. Waited around a bit more to see if anyone would approach me and nobody ever did so I took my dignity and left. Maybe it was because I was too casually dressed? Not sure, but it was definitely a dissapointing experience.
