I just purchased a honda accord at this dealership last week. Shabir, the guy that helped me with the process was actually great and made sure everything went well. However the experience with the finance guy was very very horrible. He tried to pressure me into buying some protection i never wanted and even when i declined several times, he tried to lie and tell me I was buying it at a lower price. Later when i was signing the paper, I told him things did not add up for the protection plan and he still tried to lie, when the simple multiplication did not add up to what he was explaining. Anyway i ended up canceling.
I pull up my credit history today, 2/22/2017 and i realize i have 4 different hard enquiries on my credit. Mind you I went into this dealership with my own capital one approval. He asked me if he could check to see if he could find me a better deal on interest and I clearly declined several times. I already knew what my credit history was, and knew I went into the dealership with the best interest rate i could ever get based on my credit and I clearly to him that several times. He tried to con me into agreeing to him submit my credit to several banks and i CLEARLY told him i do not want any hard enquiries on my credit and therefore he should not run anything. He told me that since they had already pulled my credit, (for some reason they had already pulled my credit from Equifax when i got to the dealership, without me even given any consent) it would not show anything on me history when he runs it with different banks. I told him i do not want anything run that will show a hard pull on my credit because am in the process of rebuilding my credit and do not want anything on it that will bring down my score. I am very surprised today seeing that my credit score was pulled and this let a guy like that work there.

I bought my car here a little over 2 years ago, and I've continued to go back for the routine servicing of my car because of the excellent service that I've gotten from their team. Jeremy Hand, in the service department, always works to ensure that I know exactly what needs to be done to my car, and whether or not it can wait until the next visit. He also works diligently to find me the best deals that are available for each service, which really makes me feel like I'm being helped as a person, and not just another paying customer.
In addition to Jeremy's efforts, the entire rest of the team is very welcoming and make you feel at home as you wait for your car to be finished. I highly recommend this dealership for both the purchasing of a car, as well as routine maintenance.

Mohammed Ameyar sold us a new CR-V and he was friendly, informative, patient with our innumerable questions and made very sure we really understood how to use all the new gadgets. At no time was there any pressure. We could not buy the car right away but he was perfectly at ease with us arranging a day and time to make the purchase. We are long term users of this dealership and especially appreciate Alex Garcia who heads the Silver Team in the service department. The car itself has retained everything we liked about our older CR-V and the computer gadgetry is intuitive and I am sure will become automatic quickly.

Buying car was great experience. But finance manager Kim Donald did not help afterward. Called 4 times and dozen of emails to get my GAP insurance cancelled. Its been 5 month since car purchase and after being assured from Finance department that matter will be handled and my GAP full refund will be applied to my balance, nothing has been done. Extremely poor management. Lies lies and lies. Its frustrating.

(07/08/2019) 5 months after buying our new 2019 Honda Pilot the registration still has the INCORRECT VIN NUMBER. The car dealership is barely doing anything to fix it. It's been a horrible experience, please don't buy a car here or you might end up in the same situation as us! Our car salesman told us it has been happening to multiple families! (Old Post) My car buying experience here was fine. We brought in other quotes that we had gotten and they beat the match by a couple hundred dollars, which was great. I will say it took over 6 hours to buy our vehicle and we were in this dealership until after midnight on a Monday. It was extremely ridiculous. So, we traded in my vehicle which was a 2018 Honda HR-V, and they low balled my trade in value to like $8K...but we had taken my car to be appraised at Carmax and they gave us a deal of over$18K. The dealership was pretty upset because they had to match the price making them a little moody. But we drove away with our new 2019 Honda Pilot so happy! Well...a couple days later our salesman tells us that they put the WRONG VIN number on all the paperwork we signed and now he has to come over to our home so we can sign all the paperwork over.... At this point we're furious because we trusted this company and these people to take care of us in the first place and they did not. Fast forward to a couple days later, we notice that the VIN number is wrong on the first set temporary tags that they gave us. We got in touch with the car salesman and told him what was going on and now he has to come back out to our home to give us another set of temporary tags. And in the mix of not having the correct VIN number corresponding to our vehicle, my trade in car still hasn't been paid off so I'm having to make extra payments to my trade in which I don't even have in my possession anymore! It took this dealership 2 months to trade in my vehicle. And here we are almost in May, we bought our vehicle in the beginning of March and we get our registration FINALLY and GUESS WHAT...the VIN number on our registration is WRONG. They put the wrong VIN number on our registration so now our licenses plates are associated to a different vehicle. We have no temporary tags because they are expired and the dealership has no answer for us. This has been the worst car buying experience we have EVER HAD. I do not recommend anyone to go here because I would hate for this to happen to someone else. Please be cautious and don't trust the sales team to look over your paper or your VIN. Do it yourself in the end or you might have this horrible experience as well. And to this day, our VIN number is still wrong on our registration and our plates, and we're hoping they fixed it in the computer system after signing all the paperwork twice. BEWARE.

I bought a used Honda Accord. I think the used car staff need better customer service training as they seemed uncomfortable working with me, a woman. They did not take the time to check me out on functions of the car before I drove off the lot. The low tire pressure light appeared within 15 minutes of driving the car off the lot and the staff could have handled the situation a lot more graciously and expeditiously when I called after pulling over to the side of the road. They have offered to provide a free extra key, which I think should have been provided anyway.

Bought a 2018 used Jeep wrangler the end of April from them. Sale went great!! We paid cash, so no loan is involved. They gave us a temp tag for the jeep. Had to call everyday starting a week before the tags expired to get them to send the tags. They FINALLY overnighted them to us, and we received them the day the temp tags expired. As I said we purchased the vehicle the end of April. Here it is the end of June and we still have not received the title. We've been calling for the past 2-3 weeks and everyone says they will get back with us regarding the title and it's status. What we've heard is crickets....not a word!! We just want the title to the vehicle we purchased and paid cash for. Still waiting....

Stay away from this place. I took my car which was under extended warranty to figure out the noise that was coming from rear passenger side. They asked to leave a car there. After 3 days, I had to call back and follow up with my advisor called Alex. He did not even remember my car was there. He called me back the next day and boldly told me the car is ready however, I have to pay for 3 days of rental call. I simply rejected his request. Basically he wanted me to pay for a rental car when my honda extended warranty pays up to 6 days for it. Picked up the car and I could still hear the noise. My service center lead (Steve) was great, but I have to agree 100% with the comment another customer posted about "Lowering my rating from 5 to 4 stars for the relentless marketing emails I have received from the service center. There is no obvious way to unsubscribe from half of these communications." The shameless "I need a 5" mentality that Honda puts on their staff is *very* off putting. I implemented a customer sat process in place in our consulting firm, and we explicitly cited "don't be like a car dealership customer sat process". Again, my rep (Steve) was awesome - it's the dealership's process that irks me to no end.

When I got there, Charles was not there and the internet manager refused to speak with me. Their salesman sat me down for an hour trying to explain why I cannot get that same price anymore. My husband and I had a wonderful experience car shopping here. Aylin is an absolute gem and really stands out among other salespeople. She is patient, listened carefully to what we were looking for, and did everything she could to meet the terms we were seeking. She wasn't pushy at all, and did not resort to typical sales tactics or make us feel pressured in any way at all. Negotiations can be stressful and unpleasant, but Aylin's affect and demeanor made the whole process rather enjoyable. The sales manager, Diego, was also excellent to work with. Apart from his kind and likeable personality, he is super sharp and really knows his stuff. We felt totally confident that there was no shady BS going on and that both he and Aylin were working hard to make us happy, which is exactly how you want to feel when making a big purchase. This was our first dealership stop of the day, and we had other appointments to make so we ended up leaving with a vague promise to return. After dealing with other dealerships in the area, it became SO clear that the customer service provided at Ourisman Honda was truly unmatched, so we ended up coming back and completing our purchase with Aylin and Diego. I am so happy with my new CR-V and strongly recommend that you go see Aylin and Diego if you're in the market for a new car!

My husband and I did a great deal of research before deciding on the car we wanted so we came in with our mind set on the Pilot. Jose was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything with detail and explained the advantages of the different packages but never pushed to sell any of it to us.
The pre-owned sales manager made trading in our car a breeze. We did not have our payoff amount so he helped us look that up, we didn't raise a finger and got more than we had expected for the van we were trading in!
The financing took some time but Jose made sure we were confortable, offered us drinks and even had a genuine conversation with us. The finance manager kept coming back to keep us updated and explained everything in detail but also never pushed to sell us packages after we declined.
I had gone to Koons Tysons Toyota the day before and was treated very poorly. The sales rep there kept pushing other cars that I did not want that were upwards of $5K from my max price range!
With this being my first car buying experience, I must say Honda of Tysons Corner far exceeded my expectations and I look forward to servicing my car here in the future!

My service experience at Honda of Tysons Corner was 5 stars! This is the result of the Service Manager, Steven Farr. I had Steven service my car the last time I was in and because of his thorough and professional care of my car that time, was why I came back. It is not easy to come all the way from Burke to Tysons but I did it because I knew Steven would give me honest, and competent care. Honda should be proud to have Steven as their representative and manager. Right from the start he walked me through each step of the way. What impressed me most of all was how he cared while I was waiting for my car to be finished. He came to me periodically to check if I needed anything and to let me know how much longer I would have to wait. No one else does that. Honda has a golden asset in Mr. Farr and his excellent care of my car and the customers. Because of him I will be back to Tysons Honda instead of my neighborhood and much closer mechanic. Thank you for employing a caring, knowledgeable, and excellent employee.

I went to Honda of Tyson's Corner for most of my services in 2013 & 2014. They were very slow and I would get questionable service from them, which made me question their integrity. The service guy would pop my hood of my 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid, with only 60K miles on it, and look at the fluid levels and tell me that the break fluid should be replaced. I found this strange since this is what the technicians do, not the guy that takes your car in the service drop off area. He tried this multiple times, and on all occasions the technicians came back and said the fluid was ok. Another technician said that I needed my brakes replaced soon. I got a second opinion at Dulles Honda and found out the breaks were fine. I just feel like Tysons Honda was trying to sell me more services that were not needed. I also had an IMA battery problem and I dropped it off and went to Tysons Corner to do some shopping while I waited, and in 3 hours they still had not called me. I went back to the service center and the drop off guys were no-where to be found and no-one told me what was going on with the car. So I left. Service is slow, poor, and their followup is awful. I went to Landmark Honda and they immediately identified a problem with the IMA battery and that it is under warranty and fixed it. I am not going to Tysons Honda Service anymore. Life is too short to deal with that level of ineptitude.

The Service Department is absolutely horrible here. They need to work on their customer service. The manager sticks up for his reps, which is admirable, but confusing when it depends on retaining a returning customer of over 10 years.
Short Story
I took my car in to get worked on for $139.95 and left with unwanted work done for $247.71. They tried to charge me close to $500.00. Horrible customer service from both the rep and the manager.
Long Story
I took my car in recently and was assigned to the Yellow Team. I typically take my car to a personal mechanic that does great work for a low cost (he allows you to buy the parts yourself to make the experience cheaper and to have you more involved in the work being done). My car was scheduled for the 140,000 mile service which I wanted to get done because I wanted a mechanic to inspect different areas of my car to make sure everything was running right. The service package I chose was $139.95. The rep that was assigned to me was of foreign descent and had a bit of an accent. It wasn't too difficult to understand him and he seemed nice and honest. I left my car to be worked on while I ran errands. After a couple of hours, he called me to let me know that my car was done being inspected and he was telling me of problems that the techs had encountered. I couldn't really understand him on the phone and kept asking him to repeat himself and to clarify what he was saying. As he was speaking, I kept saying "uh huh, okay, etc." to move the conversation along. Lo and behold, he claims he took my "uh huhs and okays" to mean that I authorized extra work be done on my car. When I came to pick my car up, my basic service went from $139.95 to almost $500.00. He said that I had authorized him to do the work and that the work had already been done and that the new parts were already on my car. He was very rude and short. He simply walked away. He attempted to fix the issue by taking the labor costs off, bringing the total down to $243.71. He claimed it was a misunderstanding and that I would need to pay the $243.71 in order for them to release my car to me. As I complained, he simply walked away and said nothing. So, because of a misunderstanding between me and the service department, this customer had to pay over $100 extra. When I brought this up to the service department manager, he said that my "uh huhs and okays" were authorization and that my payment of the $243.71 was a fair compromise. I told him he was risking losing a customer. He told me "if that's what you choose to do..." Wow! He cared nothing about retaining a customer that they have had for over 10 years.
DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE! There are better options, where you won't be overcharged and where "the customer is always right."

Appointment was set with the understanding that our service would not take more than 2-3 hours. However, after that time had passed we were informed the service would take all day. When we called to check on the status of our vehicle we were told it was ready so we came to pick it up. When we checked to see if the foot operated automatic lift gate functioned properly (that is what we dropped the vehicle off to have installed) it was not operating. Initially, our service manager attempted to show us how to use it properly and acted like he didn't understand why it didn't work (it seemed to us that this was just an act). He then disappeared for about 20 minutes. When he returned he was very apologetic stating that the technician didn't install the part as directed and that we would have to leave the vehicle overnight. We instead decided to take the vehicle home and drop it back off the following morning. Before we returned the next day, we did an inspection of the vehicle for the work that was previously performed and discovered that some of the fasteners for the inner fender well were missing and had not been reinstalled. We returned the next day and were told that the service would only take 2-3 hours. After that time had passed the service manager reported to us it would be done in 40 minutes but we had an appointment and they were generous enough to provide us with a rental free of charge but attempted to get us to not take the rental stating again it would be done in 40 minutes but we stressed that we had an appointment and needed to leave. When we called again to check the status of our vehicle several hours later we were told that there was faulty wiring and the technician had to trace the wiring. Within an hour after that we were sent an email asking us to pick up our vehicle. When we arrived to pick it up, our service rep had stated that he tested all the systems himself and it operated as it should. When he attempted to demonstrate it for us, it did everything but operate as it should. When we finally got it to function by figuring out where the sensor had been placed and only putting our foot in that area once would activate the lift gate, not waving the foot like a raging lunatic like our service rep had shown us previously. We can say they did attempt to keep us as customers by offering the rental and removing some trees sap that ended up in our car (not the fault of theirs) and installing the mud flaps that we had purchased from them free of charge. They did offer us a free oil change as well but given the level of service and lack of honesty we felt we received thus far, we are not certain we will even entertain getting our oil changed here.

Unfortunately the representative that we were served by was completely detached. He did not bring the car that we requested and was not familiar with the features that were available on this model.
