I have learned that the best way to get satisfaction for any service that you weren't 100% happy about is to contact the service the manager. Please, DON"T hide behind your computer and write a bad review out of anger because it is not a true reflection of the service center's ability! The customer handling was poor and they provide false promise. They told me to pay insurance for the car but finally they told me they couldn't approve my credit. They also told me to increase the dawn payment as the bank told them i should increase for the bank to approve it but when I increased the down payment they couldnt have it approved. They are all liers . I am sorry to say that but I had a very bad impression now.
This was the best car buying experience in my life--that's 54 years of car buying. My salesman, Eric Cho, was extremely helpful and I didn't feel pressured by him. He is personable and a gentleman. I felt he wanted to help me find the best car for me. He listened to me and understood what I wanted. After I bought the Honda Fit he spent a lot of time helping acquaint me with many features that were unfamiliar to me. I went from my old car with no modern tech or bells and whistles to a great little car with lots of features. I am not tech oriented, and he was a good teacher, showing me how to remember things. He synced my phone to the audio system and took a lot of time helping me set up the whole car. He explained what settings and features would be best for my kind of driving. He went way beyond what is expected.
Today I visited the service department for the first time to Change the oil of my car, after I bought my Honda Civic from Sheehy last month. I was served so politely and professionally by Mr. Kris. It made me feel happy about my last month deal with sheehy Honda. Thank you Kris !

We were undecided about what to buy when we went to Sheehy to check out the CRV. We were greeted immediately and our salesperson - Larry McGill was very helpful from the beginning. He was extremely knowledgeable, and his knowledge extended beyond just the Hondas, which made a big difference in our ability to make a decision. There was no pressure at all and they were incredibly patient.
We went to another dealer to test drive another make the same day (not nearly as good an experience) and came back to buy the CRV. When we returned, the entire staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and patient. Larry got us all set up with our new car, and at an excellent price. I was very impressed with everyone at Sheehy, and would return there for our next vehicle.
I just bought 2019 Honda passport from Sheehy Honda. Usually buying a car from a dealer ship was a terrible experience for me, so I was very surprised when I went to this dealership, it is nearly hustle free. The pressure tactics used other places is not here. I highly recommend Sheehy Honda. Of course, you have to do your homework too.

I wish I could give negative stars. Take it from me, unless you want unreliable customer service take your car and money anywhere else. I tried to give these folks a second chance---shame on me! My review is based on my experience with Sheehy Honda from 2016- 2019. Horrible experience(s) with more than one service rep over the phone and in person - not advising customers about specials/service coupons, giving misinformation- why is my oil change two to three different prices depending on who I speak with??? Failing to follow up with customers as promised (phone inquiry) and management- VJ, no better, so it is no surprise why the service reps perform this poorly. I live down the street but will drive ALL THE WAY to Manassas (or Fredericksburg)for great service from Koons or Pohanka Honda. Landmark Honda is more expensive, but if you provide decent customer service you can get my business over Sheehy Honda. You are not deserving of my dollar nor my presence. Whoever owns Sheehy needs to do a complete overhaul re: customer service staffing.
We purchased a Honda CRV and was quite happy with the experience. Originally came in to look at a 2012 CRV but also wanted to see any remaining 2014, Mariela Ortega was very professional and provided us with all of the information. We decided on the 2014 - price was good, trade in was good, and now we have a CRV for the family. Probably purchased and helped people purchased about 20 cars in my life - Sheehy Honda definitely a good place to come. Ask for Mariela; she is very informative.
We were in the market for a late-model pre-owned CR-V. Sheehy had several on the lot that fell within our search parameters. Via the Sheehy website I requested a test drive, and within 30 minutes I was contacted by Jeremiah Ansah. From the start, Jeremiah was a breath of fresh air when it comes to car salesmen. He listened patiently to my concerns, we scheduled a test drive for the weekend, and within an hour of making our decision, we were driving off the lot with a beautiful CR-V. We came in with pre-approved financing at a great rate, and Robert Delarouge was still able to get us a better rate. The process was so easy, and we are so happy. I definitely recommend Sheehy Honda!

Went in for an unscheduled, much needed oil change and I was taken care of quickly and received the same quality of service as if I had scheduled an appointment.
A few days ago, I had an appointment with the salesperson to test drive a 2009 Honda Fit. I texted about 15-20 minutes prior to notify her I was on my way. I arrived, asked for her, and was told someone would get her for the appointment. I was then greeted by another salesman, who explained she was helping another customer so he'd take over the appointment, which was fine by me. We headed to the Honda Fit for the test drive. I attempted to start the car, turns out it had a dead battery. He explained either a customer or employee must've left a light on, or something along that line. I thought it was suspicious, or at least expected he would suggest starting it up if he really either jump it or replace the battery at the moment, and it seemed like a bigger red flag when he didn't and instead suggested I buy the car today. I lied by saying I needed to gather my finances to see where I stand in terms of my credit report to get out of the situation. Tell me, why would I buy a car I can't test? In fact, they've made no further attempt since to sell me the car - no call, text, email. Nothing. It's no definitive evidence, sure, but it all seems suspect. I would've paid cash had it all gone well. I wouldn't suggest coming here at all. Go else where, or better yet, buy from a private seller.
I have brought 3 vehicles within the last 10years , and this place is by far the best car dealership I ve ever brought from . Very professional and the process was quick. Abdullah was my sales man and he did a good job even taught me how to work all the features on my car before pulling off the lot. I highly recommend buying from them.
*****BUYERS BEWARE***** Where do I even start on the horrible experiences we've had at Sheehy? To be fair, we actually purchased our first new car from there, and that experience wasn't all that bad. Not great (typical of what you would expect from an aggressive car dealership), but certainly not the ones from hell that we experienced recently.
Last week, we went in to look at a used 2012 Honda CRV. Not only did the sales person not give a crap, but he was also extremely condescending. He didn't answer any of our questions and blatantly questioned our competence. News flash, we're not trained conniving a**holes, but we do know a thing or two about negotiating, and excuse us for doing our jobs as consumers. Needless to say, we left that day in pretty bad moods.
If it had stopped there, I wouldn't have felt the need to write a scathing review. After all, sales is hard and we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But today was the straw that broke the camel's back, because they FLAT OUT LIED to us.
Over the weekend, we saw a nearly identical car with 20K fewer miles selling for the exact same price. This piqued our interest and the manager Sylkk reached out to schedule a meeting. He even offered to give us his personal cell so he could update us if the car sold before our scheduled meeting time. We were genuinely impressed with the customer service. Naturally, when we didn't get a call leading up to our appointment, we assumed everything was squared away.
In retrospect, we should have been suspicious. Our appointment was at 7pm, but my prior engagement ended early, so we decided to go in 30 minutes early. Out of respect, we called Sylkk to give him a heads up. No answer. Hmmm, maybe he was busy. So we left a message and headed over. Of course, Sylkk wasn't there, but we got a very frazzled salesman who was probably brand new. When it came time for the test drive, he pulled up the car that we had driven previously, and when we caught the mistake, that's when things got ugly. To save you from the gruesome details, just know that we were subject to the bait and switch.

Sylkk - You messed with the wrong couple. We may look young, but we came to you looking for a car in earnest. We trusted you to do your part. Yet you didn't even have the decency to follow through on your promise. Rather, you lured us in knowing full well the car we were interested in was sold and you sent your most junior staff to try to sell us an overpriced car we didn't want. Then you tried to offer an "inconvenience fee" that took the price right to what you previously offered! You played us for fools, but you underestimated us. You underestimated how much we value principle. And we will make sure everyone in our spheres of influence knows to NEVER give money to Sheehy.
Very happy to recommend Abdullah Qaderi, who helped me with two used vehicle purchases (Certified CRV and Odyssey). Abdullah was professional and polite and has maintained that level of service beyond the initial sale. The dealership have been very flexible and quick to resolve any issues, and I'm pleased with the level of service promised by their Honda Certified and Sheehy Select warranty schemes.
Great people, very "Easy" to deal with, which is kind of funny, as their advertising claims Sheehy makes it easy. I got prices, or I should say tried to get prices from a couple other dealerships, but they would not give me numbers, or else would not send me anything. Sheehy not only gave me a great price, but emailed it right over based on my first request, and was very professional. When I went in to purchase my new Accord, everything was quick, as promised, and very easy. Couldn't have asked for anything more, I would definitely refer them to friends and family.
Sheehy Honda-Alexandria is great. When I call the appointment line to schedule, it's a 2 day wait. When I go in and speak with the kind staff, especially Rachel Higgins, I get awesome service. Thank you for giving me the 5 star service!

A routine oil change for 5 hours. It started when they put part that I did not authorized then another 3 hours to re-instal the old part. The worse part when Vijay, the so called Service Manager can not even handle the pressure of the daily routine on the service line. He did not listen to the issue I am trying to explain instead he accused me of not wanting to pay for the installed part that I did not authorized. Vijay has no knowledge of Customer Service Etiquettes. He is an embarrassment to the Sheehy Honda team, wherein one their goal is to promote lasting relationship with their clients. I have been a loyal customer since 2007 and that relationship got cut off as of yesterday.

After shopping around for a used civic we found 'the one' at sheehy. Everyone that works there was super friendly and the whole experience was low pressure and pleasant. I would definitely recommend sheehy. The service center is also clean and comfortable. They saved me $700 compared to another quote I received!!

I have always been a big fan of everything Honda. All of their products are well made, dependable and affordable. I bought my CRZ from another local dealership and got a good deal. The problems started when it was time to get the car serviced. There was a lot of pressure by the service writers to buy services that I did not need or install parts like air and cabin filters that I could easily replace myself. At the 30,000 mile mark Honda recommends replacing the transmission fluid. I compared prices and found that Sheehy Honda provided the same service for almost $100 less. When I needed a replacement key, they had one in stock whereas the other dealer would have had to order one. The other dealer returns your car as dirty as you brought it in. Sheehy Honda does a great hand wash at no additional charge. They also have a much less congested and quiet waiting area. Best of all they have a separate very quiet room with desks that you can use to work on your laptop.
Excellent communications when scheduling an appoint. We were purchasing a very inexpensive vehicle for on of our children. Despite the low cost of the used vehicle we received excellent customer service as if we were purchasing a new car. Thank you.
My salesman Michael Myers did such a great job to find me a GREAT deal on a brand new 2019 Honda Civic. He made me feel at ease the during the whole negotiating process and deserves his Silver Status level and even beyond that for his patience and professionalism! I also really appreciated the manager, Sina Mohabat who was honest and transparent. I really felt like they did everything they could to help me stay within my bottom line. Took my Honda Civic to dealership for service. Paid $175 for diagnostic to determine the issue and for their recommendations to fix the issue. One week later my car broken down again and this time they wanted to charge me $1,080 to replace my starter. The part is $250 so almost $800 for labor. Do yourself a fabor and shop around. Not sure if they quoted me such a high rpice because I am a woman but the service was horrible and they can't even fix their owe vehicles.
I purchased my Honda CRV at Sheehy Honda in Alexandria in 2003. Since then I have brought my vehicle in for ALL of its maintenance to this location. The staff at Sheehy Honda in Alexandria has consistently given me great service! I find them to be trustworthy in their evaluations and needs of my vehicle, without padding unneeded repairs. All staff members are knowledgeable. In addition, they are kind and respectful of the clients time and financial constraints. I've had my vehicle now for 13 years and is still going strong. I wouldn't take it any where else for servicing, nor would I purchase my next vehicle any where else! Thank You!!

My husband has purchased several Hondas from Sheehy Honda and Bob Sautter has been his salesperson. He has always gone above and beyond the expected norm of purchasing a new Honda. He has always taken him to the service department to show him around and introduce him to the service writers. Rachel Higgins has always been our service writer. Both employees are top notch and are a credit to Sheehy Honda of Alexandria.

Sales person (Rita) was good, manager was fine, 'finance person' was terrible. The finance person was rude and unhelpful, and was unwilling to answer basic questions. She wanted us to sign forms, and when we asked what the form means, she said she could not tell us. We won't be going back.
This the only place that i come to buy a new Honda. Rob Suatter has always been the nicest and most professional person I have ever known. He was very kind to my children. All in all this dealer is a very family friendly place to be.

I'm in the transportation business, which means I often go to different dealerships for either service or to purchase new vehicles. I chose Honda as my family car of choice for its reliability and safety, and Sheehy for their outstanding customer experience.
I was very picky when I sought to buy my car with good experience negotiating excellent prices. But I didn't really need to be as the salesman (Earl Stewart) helped make the purchasing process as smooth as it gets. Earl got me the same exact vehicle I wanted with the options and color I liked, even though it wasn't sitting on their dealership lot. He made sure that it is in fact what I ordered and I know he got me the best deal I could've gotten. I even took his advice and joined the VIP program, which I believe should be a standard option in every dealership now. Especially for a guy like me who's always in and out buying and servicing my vehicles.
In short, great dealership and go to Earl Stewart, Sheehy's best.

I'm incredibly unhappy with the service I've had here in the past week. 6 days ago, my wife went out to her car and it was totally dead. We paid to have it towed to sheehy Honda. They said it was a bad alternator. Then proceeded to charge us $1300 for just an alternator! 4 days later, I'm stranded, yet again. My wife cant get to the store to get food for our children's lunches for the week. We had it towed back to sheehy Honda (unfortunately) to see what the "new" problem is. It's been there since yesterday at 1pm and all they can say is "we tried a relay and that didnt work". Now we have to rely on friends for transportation for our kids tomorrow. And have to spend money on Uber's to get us to and from work. I've also not heard back from a service advisor in hours. Would definitely NOT recommend this dealership.
This review is for the service department. Went here for an emissions test. Only went here because I bought a car from a Sheehy dealer in Maryland, they said since I live in VA go to one in VA for the emissions test as it will be free. Emissions machine apparently broke during the test but no one said anything. I only knew because I asked where the report was, the service advisor went to check, he came back and said sorry we couldn t complete the emissions test. Wasted a whole hour for nothing. And they didn t do anything to make it up to me, just said come back another day. Went elsewhere and got it done in 15 min. I understand machines break. It was the lack of communication, waste of my time, and lack of a care on their part for having wasted my time. Won t return.
Honestly, I wish I could have given this Honda Dealer a zero star rating. I have always had Hondas in my family. We love Hondas but I purchased a car here and I can tell you is one of the worst Honda's I been too. I have purchased at other Honda dealers and they are way better than this dealer. The only positive things at this dealer is Ruben, but why does that matter if at the end you have to deal with uneducated and unprofessional people in the finance department. They tell u they give you one package and when you sign electronically they switch it up on the electronic pad. I recommend if you want a new car to not even go here it will help you be stress free when buying a car. I am never buying a Honda again from this place.

I have bought into their VIP service but I had to talk them into repairing something that was obviously not working. And I bought the car there as well. I was Oh well.
First time at a Sheehy dealership and my experience was rushed, unprofessional, and unexceptional. I called in ahead of time and came in to look at a Honda Civic 2016 Pre-Owned (VIN: 19XFC2F74GE088571). I was ready to buy in cash and not waste time.
The process was rushed from the beginning and as I m driving to Sheehy Honda, Abdullah continuously texts are you almost here how far are you . I get it that the dealership closes at 7pm, but I am not the sales rep who agreed to stay. I must have forgotten that a seller must earn a buyer's business. I called in at 6:26pm to make an appointment for 7:15pm and Abdullah agreed.
When I get there, he starts with his spiel, "this car was about to sell out...a lot of people have been asking for it". I told him flat out I didn't care for that--if the car sells, so be it and I will go look at 20 other dealerships that have hundreds of the exact same car.
I am not sure how this vehicle passed the 100+ point inspection Honda raves about when it had multiple scratches on the body (one scratch/dent was bad enough that it was causing rust on a passenger door).
When I asked to take the car for a test drive (more importantly on the highway), he states that I can do that tomorrow after putting down a deposit (and reminds me of Sheehy's 3-day return policy). After compromising, he finally agreed to let me drive it around the block, literally up the road, around the block and back to the parking spot. Maybe 5 minutes passed since I arrived and he was already taking me to his cubicle.
I told him I was ready to buy in cash and had looked at 5 other lots same day (first thing he asked over the phone was whether I would pay cash or finance---I told him OTP the payment method for the transaction is not a concern). As we are sitting down, he mentioned he forgot my name--I pointed to the piece of paper that showed my information (another example of how rushed the introduction was rushed).
He tried to add on a $845 warranty even though the car was 'Honda Certified Pre-Owned' and already came with a manufacturer's extended warranty. He replied, oh sorry that was a typo from a previous manager .
He told me countless times that he would not nudge on the price and didn t even check with his sales manager when I asked multiple times. When I asked him for a copy of the offer he said No. That s when I walked out. I don't expect every company to lower their price, but a professional approach is expected.
Am I supposed to make a decision for the second largest purchase in one's life, with this kind of Sales rep?

Used the USAA Car buying service and was immediately contacted by Marcus Cameron. I can honesty say his professionalism and expert knowledge of the Accord were very helpful! I was very impressed with his politeness and sincerity to help. Wasn't expecting to buy the same the day but we were offered a great deal. Marcus and Robert Oliver were very positive even though we stayed late to complete the buying process. Definitely would recommend this dealership.
Second car I ve purchased at Sheehy Honda, Alexandria. They re very professional, not pushy at all, and did everything to make the experience pleasant and easy for me. I never even had to travel to the location. We found the car online, they gave me an estimated trade in value online and prepared all the documentation (to include financing) on their own. Finally, a gentleman drove our new car to my house where we test drove it, confirmed it was awesome, reviewed all the paperwork, signed for and bought the car. Finally, he drove away in our trade in. Amazingly simple. I can t see buying a Honda anywhere else.

Great! Painless and quick on trading in our CRV for a 2013 CRV. They even bought us a pizza while we waited for the financing papers etc.:) Second car from this dealer, would go again. Took about 2 hours total. Not bad.
I was able to drop the car off the night before, they called me in the morning after it was checked out with the estimated price. I was able to call back to confirm after speaking with my husband, and it was ready around noon. I walked in, checked out quickly, and was able to leave quickly. Good experience.
Don't trust these people. I got burned here when shopping for a new Honda, and you will too. Salesman Metasebia Assefa promised me an out the door price in writing. But after I gave them all my information to arrange a delivery, manager Kevin Reinhardt gave me a new price of $800 more. Their explanation? The salesman accidentally gave me a price for a lower trim level. Incompetent at best, dishonest at worst. Take your business elsewhere.

I had a nice experience purchasing the car, but unfortunately were conned into purchasing the service agreement. We have attempted to use the service department on multiple occasions, and their customer service is the worst I ve ever encountered. They don t care about your contract, your circumstances, they don t care that you paid additional money for these services, and they will make disparaging comments in their system about you. I literally saw how they made comments about me in their system in all caps and lied about advice given to me. As of right now they have told me they are not able to help me fix my car even though I have a VIP service contract with them. You cannot make an appt for an oil change, you have to drop it off and come back 4-6 hours later...even with an appt. Today after my experience I asked to speak with a manager, the associate was the one that came back to the phone to convey they weren t able to help me, that I could email the GM for a solution.. When I asked why the manager didn t come to the phone, was I not important enough for him to deal with, the associate replied with I m sorry I m just the messenger. Buyer beware! Do not say you weren t warned.

I will not be returning to Sheehy Honda. They were unhelpful and obviously inexperienced in providing good customer service. I was as polite as I could be for both times I went to Sheehy. I will not be back for a third visit.
I have my warranty and there is a known error with the 2008 water pump in the Accord. I asked a simple question and was treated like I have the plague. It is unfortunate and I will never recommend a friend go there.
I originally started my process shopping online and was impressed with the ease of use of the Sheehy website. I identified a high mileage car I was sure I would be able to purchase outright, and contacted the dealer via email to get more information and a test drive. I am a big fan of low pressure sales and was happy to see I could get the ball rolling without having to go to the dealership. I was immediately contacted by Syl who gave me info on the car I was looking at, and followed up with me on my online credit application. It turns out they were able to get my financed for a much nicer low mileage civic that I later test drove and purchased. It was done within a day, and was very low hassle. I liked that I could access the carfax report and that Syl had a few options picked out for me before I got there. I now have a dependable looking car with a long warranty and service plan for a pretty reasonable price.
Customer service was top notch here at Sheehy Honda i appreciate Kenneth our salesman and the finance staff for a great car buying experience i hope to be a returning customer in the future and i highly recommend this dealership for anybody looking for a new or used Honda 10/10 !!!
