Another family member bought a Subaru from Stohlman around same time as the Honda vehicle was purchased. Stolhman Subaru's paperwork customer service and followup is 100% better than Ourisman.
It's too bad this paperwork part of the Ourisman operation is run so poorly and customers are ignored. The lack of response about paperwork reflects negatively on the sales team and service team at Ourisman Tysons. And it appears as this is an all too common problem

Please think thoroughly before you try and give your business to this company. I tried purchasing a car during this pandemic, because I desperately needed one. As I purchased it, I communicated with all the sales rep and finance personnel through zoom, everything went pretty smooth I would say, right up until the day I was supposed to receive the car through their delivery service. I got a call from Khalil Chadad that a porter had wrecked my new 2020 Honda Civic Si. I honestly thought he was kidding, because I was in utter shock to hear such news, I was finally excited that I found this car in the color I wanted because this colorway was very difficult to find, as I had been searching for months for it. What honestly made me upset the most was that this situation was made nonchalant - it seemed as if the dealer wrecking my supposedly new car was okay, when it clearly is not. Khalil Chadad expressed to me that he would try to pull some strings and find a new one, but I told him I had already searched and searched for months, there's not another vehicle of the same color out in the market. He stated that he would find one within the next couple of days. After that, I had not heard from him the following days, thus I decided to call and sure enough they weren't able to find another car at all. I was told to call other dealerships myself. There was no remorse for wrecking the car that I was about to call mine. It was unfortunate that no one was able to do a single thing for me, as you would think these sales reps would want to sell a car and make their money and earn status, I was committed to purchasing a vehicle from them, but they left me in the dusk and on my own when they were at fault for allowing someone to wreck a vehicle on their property. Ourisman Honda should have taken responsibility for finding me a replacement for the car they wrecked on their lot, but they failed to do so. What kind of business is that? To this day, I still haven't heard from them whether or not they were able to find me a replacement. With that being said, please re-think whether or not you want to work with a business that has no sense of integrity, honesty, and cannot take any form of responsibility for their actions.

I've had some disappointing trips to Honda of Tysons Corner for repairs/service because of costly repairs to what seems like easy/quickly fixed issues, but the past three trips have gone well simply because I wasn't sure if there were problems with my new tires or not but Tim Godinho assured me that they would be looked at and if there were no issues I would not be charged. Sure enough, the tires were fine it was just the abrupt temperature change that caused the issue. On my latest trip, I mentioned that my fuel door had been sticking so he personally got a can of lubricant and took care of it without charging me. This is how it should be and from now on I will be going to Tim to make sure I'm not being taken advantage of.

I will not return to Honda of Tyson's Corner again. It took over 5 hours to get an oil change, and I had an appointment scheduled several weeks in advance. Work on my car did not start until 3 hours after I had dropped it off. I had never been to this dealership before, and Michael Lewis was the employee handling my appointment. He did not keep me informed on the progress, nor did he offer to show me around or let me know what services are available when waiting. He did not seem happy to work there, and I had much better customer service at other Honda Dealerships I have used in the past.

Had a rear hub and bearing assembly that needed to be replaced. I tried to fix it myself, but couldn't get enough leverage from the angle I had to work from in order to break the 4 nuts that hold it on. So I took it in. Of course you feel hosed - I could have bought the part for $130 and the repair costed about $550 with a coupon. But they could get it fixed that day, and I know that if you know how to fix cars (or anything else), you're going to be taken aback at what someone wants to charge. They also looked it over and saw an axle seal that needed replacing, and I hadn't seen that. That requires a bit more work, and I probably wouldn't have taken the half shafts off, etc. myself, but here was another $580 (the part would probably be like $10-$15). So I left with a $1,130 repair bill, but those two things fixed. I guess it's okay.

We bought a new Honda Ridgeline at the end of June and were extremely pleased with the service we received from sale representative Sanjeev Kaushik throughout the process, from the initial approach on our part, to the final sale. As prospective clients are aware, the 2017 Ridgeline is just coming on the market, is going to be extremely popular, and are at this time somewhat difficult to obtain because they get snatched up as soon as they arrive at the dealers. I had already sold my 2015 RAV4 in preparation for buying a 2017 Ridgeline, and needed the truck for some moving and farmwork this summer. At first it appeared that the color scheme we wanted (Obsidian Blue or Scarlet Red) would not be coming in until late July, but I put down a deposit anyway to get first in line. As it turns out a Scarlet RTL-E arrived at the end of June, and Sanjeev called me before it was even unloaded from the truck. By the end of the afternoon, the paperwork was being completed and I drove it away the next day. The processing was efficient, the atmosphere pleasant, and Sanjeev was ever the helpful gentleman in taking care of details. The business manager James was equally professional and pleasant in setting up the title, registration, loan, and insurance particulars. So far, I've only had time to go on one road trip (Arlington to north of Frederick MD, but I loved the feel and handling of the Ridgeline, its superb GPS graphics, and all the state-of-the-art features inside the cab. The trunk under the bed was just right to haul my tools that day--my set of golf clubs! Glad I got the Ridgeline and appreciate Sanjeev for helping me get in it a month a head of expectations.

His reply to me was that he had the fluid in stock and that I could arrive at 7pm to purchase the fluid. I arrive at 7:02 to find the department closed and the staff left useless and unaccountable. I live very close to the dealership and refuse to have my car serviced there because of issues like this. I simply wanted to make a purchase and the individual I spoke to, presumably an employee, did not know HIS own department's schedule. The next logical question is: if I cannot trust you to know your own schedule why would I trust you to work on my car? I had a horrible experience with the service center. I was upsold mutiple services that were not required. I was not provided a written estimate of the work before it was completed. I did not receive the $20 state inspection I requested three times. My car was there for more than four hours, and they damaged a part that was original to car. Not once was I asked to acknowledge my understanding or agreement to the services in writing, including the loaner car agreement. They had to give me a loaner car for the three days while waiting for the replacement part. If you go there, be sure to request everything in writing before any work is done. Hopefully, it will save you hundreds of unnecessarily spent dollars.

As a first time buyer, I had a better experience here than I expected. The process was easy and straight-forward, but most importantly the staff didn't attempt to talk me into any unnecessary addons like I anticipated. The interesting part is that they seem to pride themselves on doing just that--selling cars more honestly with customers. Every car they purchase to sell is a basic model with no addons, which allows customers to get a better initial price and customize from the ground-up, where-as other dealerships buy their cars with addons from the get-go, making the process more difficult. The downside to that practice is that they don't do any car trading with other dealerships, since the strategies don't mix, so it may take some time to get what you're looking for.
It's also worth mentioning that my salesman, Sanjeev, was pretty fantastic. He was very helpful, addressing our questions and concerns with enthusiasm and giving us space to speak privately when we needed it. I was told later that he's the best salesman they have, and I can vouch that it shows.

Don't take your car here for service. I'm sure other Honda dealers operate the same. Brought my CR-V in for an oil change and got a list of $2K worth of repairs. They said I needed new shocks because the dust boots were cracked--SCAM (some cars don't even have dust boots). They said I needed to change the transmission fluid every time I changed the oil because it breaks down--SCAM (interval is 30K miles). I asked about the cold start rattle my car was making and the service advisor said he would get an estimate for a VTC actuator. He never did. While I did need new front brakes, the rear brakes were at 20% and could wait until the next oil change. There are some really good and honest independent auto repair shops in NoVA. I found one and will never go back to Honda.
