Had an oil change and my airbag replaced at the same time and the person who helped me was Eric and he was a very nice gave great customer service and I was satisfied with the time frame of getting my car back. Came here because of a friend recommendation of Gian. He definitely listen what you want and not pressured at all when it come to choosing your new car or used car. I mean if you are buying a use car that cost 14k and a new car is 18k I rather go for the new one of course. Anyways my wife and I purchase our new 2017 Honda Fit Ex and we are super happy with our purchase. Everything Gian and Aunh or Aung he is Burmese not sure about the spelling but he process our vehicle quickly and efficiently and again not pressured to pick which to add it's very transparent. Thank You Honda of Serramonte!!! Keep up the Stellar costumer service! Check out Gian for your new or used car Definitely a good place to buy a reliable car.

I drove over 60 miles to get the Honda Civic Si I really wanted and there was none in stock were I live. and Since very few of these cars are made it sold before I arrived the night before. They were willing to do a transfer for me from Hayward Honda and I got my car.They Went above and beyond to get the car I really wanted and drove to hayward to pick up the car while I waited at the dealership and did the transfer. now thats amazing customer service. I would definetly recommend Honda of Serramonte.

If price is all you care about, Honda of Serramonte is the place for you. On the other hand, if you value customer service, fulfilled promises and an eye for detail, I would consider another dealership.

My husband and I recently purchased a 2015 Honda Odyssey from Honda of Serramonte. My husband purchased his 2012 Honda Fit at Anderson Honda in Palo Alto and had an amazing experience, so we figured we'd get a similar experience at a dealership closer to home. We were very wrong.

When we were first connected with our sales person, everything seemed OK. In fact, the experience was fine until we finished all of the paperwork. First, the finance team ran 4 credit inquiries on my credit reports. They did not warn me of the multiple inquiries, then when I confronted them about it, the finance guy said, "oh, that's weird because I only submitted it to 2 banks." He failed to recognize the fact that more than 1 inquiry was not acceptable. Now I get the pleasure of trying to dispute these on my credit reports - thanks for that.

Things didn't get much better when we went to pick up the car. The sales person assured us that the vehicle would be detailed ready for pickup on Tuesday by EOD. That day at 4 p.m., I got a call saying that the car wouldn't be ready until Wednesday. Considering I already paid for the car and my old car was traded in, Wednesday wasn't an option. I explained that to the sales person and he said "OK. We'll make that work." Around 6:15 that night he called me to say the car was ready. He asked what time we'd be there at 6:30 and he said, "No problem. I'll see you then."

When we arrived at the dealership, we were told the sales person was with another customer and we needed to wait. We waited for about 20 minutes until he finally came up to us just to give us the keys. I believe his exact words were "go ahead and check it out while we finish the registration." After we inspected the car, we went back inside to wait some more. The finance guy then gave us the registration and said, "your sales person will put this in the window for you." Since the sales person wasn't anywhere to be found, we told the front desk lady we were waiting for him, as instructed, and took a seat. We were waiting for about 30 minutes until I decided to text the sales person to let him know we were waiting for him.

About 10 minutes later, he came up to us and said, "you are free to go." We explained that the finance guy instructed us to wait for him to stick the registration to the car. He said, "oh, ok" and hustled is outside to quickly stick us on the car and send us on our way. He didn't explain any of the cars features or anything, something we saw another sales person do the day before and something that the Anderson Honda did for my husband years before. Considering we've waiting at the dealership for 1.5 hours just to pick up the car, my husband and I left. We got about 5 minutes from the dealership when we noticed the car had less than a quarter of a tank of gas (we had to fill it up that night) and Armorall sprayed on the rear view mirror and still on some of the back seats, proving that the dealership rushed the detail. I was able to scratch the Armorall off the mirror with some Goo-Be-Gone and a razor, and I'm writing this review from a car wash, where I paid $180 to get my car detailed again, as the dealership obviously isn't capable of doing it correctly.

To make matters worse, the smoke smell from the previous owner came back after 2 days of driving, another reason why I'm paying for a detail. The sales person assured me that the dealership would completely remove the smell.

As new residents of South San Francisco, my husband and I were very excited to see a Honda dealership so close to home. Unfortunately, they aren't up to the standard of other dealers in the area.

Finally calling once more, I was met with an awfully rude woman on the other end of the phone who spoke to me as if I was the biggest waste of her time.

Darrell Wilson, service advisor at Honda of Serramonte saved me a lot of money in repair costs on my Honda 2010 Accord. I took in my car for service and found out that repairs were on the engine based on their diagnostic tests. What was to be a $3000+ job was reduced to $228 in actual repairs! Why? Because Darrel took the time and effort in trying to see if Honda could cover some of the costs being that the car was well maintained and with low mileage even if the warranty had just recently expired. The good news is that Honda agreed to cover not just some but most of the repair. I am so pleased and grateful to Darrell for his service and will definitely recommend him and Honda of Serramonte. This is the reason for this review because of this recent experience (July 24, 2018).

Honda of Serramonte is the only place I trust with my Honda. They always take excellent care of me in the Service Department; I trust the information they give me and the pricing is very fair and honest. I have a relationship with one service writer who always provides us with the best service. This is our third Honda and when we hit on Serramonte Honda, we have not switched back to anyone else for service. Serramonte Honda is the best!

We scheduled our appointment ahead of time. We were greeted by a friendly person at check-in. The check-out was also great.

However, the following are areas of improvements:

- Even though we had an appointment, there was a long line (out to the main street) because it was short staffed. The check-in time was more than what we expected.

- The shuttle service was great but took a long time to drop off and we were given 1 hr window for a pick up.

- An oil change took approximately 3 hours even after booking an appointment ahead of time.

Went to get my key reprogrammed and was told it d take about 2hrs for both the wait and labor. Ended up waiting 4.5hrs instead because someone down the line dropped the ball about updates (I had to keep coming in and asking after the initial 2hrs) while waiting for the computer and my key to update (they had two computers too so like, huh??). Still cost me $162 for something that only really took 30mins to get done. Granted, Darrel was polite and tried to be accommodating, I m still frustrated everything took so long and was so expensive. Even the vast majority of customers who came after me, finished before me. This is ridiculous. Glad my key and car work now but I was way too close to not making it to work on time.

Very friendly and great service. Jeric is the person who helped me out, and he was very helpful. He went above and beyond telling me everything I needed to know about my car. I had a low pressure tire issue and they inspected it thoroughly. There was no leaks or punctures, so I wasn t even charged for the service! Definitely coming back here next time I have an issue with my car.

I bought a used Honda Civic three months ago, The dealer did not put the license plates on, just a Serramonte logo. I got the pink slip and registration within two weeks, with a license plate number. I never receive the plates. I went to DMV to check. They told me that a used car should have the license plates on, and DMV cannot issue another plate. So the license plates should be in the dealership but they did not put it on the car for some reason. I called the dealer but they said the plates should come from DMV and I should wait! I don't know what kind of dealer is this.
So I have no choice but paid $21 for a new license plate with new license number. What a bummer...

Easy to se up an appointment. A shuttle was kindly provided to me. I was especially impressed by the service person who helped us. He is very knowledgeable, very kind, and patient. I originally just noticed brake problems but we ended up taking care of many important issues including recalls for airbags and changing all fluids because the car is due for a major 60K mile service. Promised discounts were honored and I felt that the overall service was a good deal. The car was washed and ready for us by 5:00 pm.

I love this place, me and my wife just purchased our 5th vehicle from this dealership. Each and everytime was a good experience, but this last one was flawless. Gian was amazing, he provided us with very detailed information about the vehicle we purchased. They did not have the car in stock but told me it would be available in couple days. We agreed on the price. I went there to put down my deposit and sign the agreement. Now they called me and told me the price needs to go up by $1500 due to an expired incentive from Honda. WTH? They are the dealer and should have known it, not me. To be honest, I don't even know what they said was true or they just decided to sell the car to someone else. I should have trusted other reviewers and stayed away from this dealer.

I am very displeased with my experience with Honda Serramonte.

When I walked into Honda Serramonte, Team Manager Marcelo greeted me. I told him I was looking to buy a 2016 Honda Civic. I looked at all the Honda Civics they had on their hands at the time and they all had flaws; they either had a higher mileage or they had scratches on the cars. Marcelo told me that all cars have flaws and that I should just pick one. I ended up buying a 2016 Honda Civic that had a scratch on the trunk of the car, yet at the time of purchase, Marcelo kept insisting that it was not a scratch and that it would come off after they washed the car. After I received the newly washed and polished car, the scratch was still there. During the bargaining process, I wasted an hour or more trying to bargain with Marcelo to no success, but after speaking to a Chinese salesperson who was very flexible on the price, I got the price reduced to what I wanted in 20 minutes, if not less.

After the first week of driving my new car, I noticed that the steering wheel is off-centered, the doors of my car are not aligned, and the door, hood, and trunk molding have significant gaps. HondaLink also sent messages stating that the car had multiple problems. The first time I went back to Honda Serramonte to get my car fixed, I was there from 8:30am to 5pm. The only thing they did was reset/delete the problem messages on HondaLink. They did not fix the car's problems and told me to make another appointment to bring the car again. They told me that the steering wheel was not off-centered, but that the roads I drive my car affect how straight the car drives. I drove my car on all kinds of roads and noticed that my car was still driving towards the right. I constantly have to turn the steering wheel a bit to the left to make the car centered. As I drove my car back home from the dealership, I also noticed that my car was vibrating more than usual. When I got home, I noticed that they had scratched my car and the paint had even come off. I do not know if they will take responsibility for the damages that they did to my car, but I am very displeased and very angry, because they wasted my time, did not fix any problems, and may have created more problems.

The second time I went back to get my car fixed, they fixed the most significant gap on the driver rear door, but they said that the other gaps(hood, trunk, driver and passenger front doors, passenger rear door,...) could not be fixed because that was how the car was designed. They did not fix the steering wheel alignment either. Almost every problem that I told them to fix, they did not fix and said that the problems were not problems at all. They said there was nothing more they could fix as it was the design of the car.

After purchasing this car, I haven't had a moment of relaxation to enjoy the car because of the inconveniences that this car has caused me. I do not know how many more times I will need to go back to get my car fixed. I hope they will resolve my problems soon.

They offered non-reseasonable price and refused negotiation. The guy was very rude and never respected a customer, even satirized customer with a vivid metaphor . The first time I came here for maintenance we did not have an appointment so we waited for most of the day, which was fair since we did not come prepared but it was only a few hours so it wasn't too bad and everything had been done properly, and no accidental damage to my car. My most recent visit (second time) I did have an appointment at 7am and I was helped quickly. I left with my car at 9:30 only because I spent about half and hour speaking to the advisor (Teddy! Awesome guy) and calling my dad to see exactly what he wanted to be done to the car. My car was in great condition and no accidental damage! I look forward to coming back here for as long as the great service is existent. My most recent visit was for a damaged side mirror and I came right before closing, so they informed me I wouldnt be able to use the shuttle but I was accommodated and given an appointment at 7am for the next morning! When I arrived Service Consultant Eric Tom recognized me and took my car in to assess the damage. I had my car back within the hour and was told what happened and what needed to be replaced. They went out their way by adding in an extra screw for the meantime so my damaged side mirror would stay in place while I wait for the new side mirror to arrive, and I was not charged for my visit that day nor for the temporary fix of my side mirror. I really appreciate that their concern was how to help me out and not immediately pressure me with prices and fees.

Kris Yu assisted my father and I with a brand new 2020 Honda Accord Touring 2.0. Honda of Serramonte did not have the color we wanted. I spoke to Kris and told him if there s a neighboring dealership that has a red exterior, that we ll take it. He found a red colored 2.0 Touring in San Jose and brought it all the back here for us! Now that s customer service!

Kris is an amazing person! He was kind, honest and straightforward with us. Kris also assisted us with a trade-in of our old vehicle. He gave us the best possible offer, more than what we were expecting from a dealership.

It was a very smooth and easy transaction. We closed the deal by signing the usual paperwork and was on our way home with a new Honda Accord! I came to this location to have my car repaired for a safety recall. The service consultants were very friendly and communicated with me with what needed to be done. The guy who helped me (Bobbie) was super nice to me and informed me on all the details in regards to my car's maintenance status. I don't even know where to begin here. Staff needs to be trained better. They seem to not know much about their vehicles. Forget trying to contact them later about any changes you want to do with your Honda Care or any other service you purchased. I've walked in there so many times, last time I walked in to try and fix a mistake "they" made, I spoke to one of the managers, he said he would call me back that day and it has been a week now and no call back. I've called twice and left messages and nothing. I should have gone somewhere else.

My boyfriend just bought a car recent from Honda of Serramonte. The car itself is fine, we enjoy everything about the car. Our salesman was nice, friendly and respectful. He told us everything we needed to know about the car and more. And made the process a little bit easier on us.

The reason I am giving it a 3 star rating is because like any customer, you try to bargain with the salesman and receive a lower price on the car. The salesman said he needed to talk to the manager on duty, which was an assistant manager. We never got his name, but right off the bat he was rude. He did not introduce himself to us, nor did he even know what car we were purchasing. He was telling us a used black car will have more noticeable scratches, but we were purchasing a grey car. (?) He totally dismissed my father when my father tried to bargain and completely shut my father down when he was talking.

My parents have bought cars from Lexus, Toyota, and Honda, and never have they experienced a rude manager or whatever he may be, while buying a car.

Yes we still bought a car because we drove all the way down from Sacramento to Colma. And honestly, I think because the assistant manager knew we took a long drive there, he thought it was okay to be rude and disrespectful.

But better believe, we will not be recommending this place to any of our friends or family.

I had a hard time making an appointment. No one answered the phone and I tried calling several times. I got a reservation online in the end. When I came in, Teddy Miu was extremely helpful and accommodating. He walked me through the process, told me my wait time and helped me get a shuttle. He was very helpful and knowledgable about my car. I like the location and I find it more accessible than the other service centers. With the great service and great location, I will be going there for my service in the future.

10am appointment. show up at 10a, actually seen closer to 10:30a. Told service (oil change/trany oil change/basic checks) would take 2hrs. Its 3:30p and i had to call to get an update to find out its close to being done. Poor "multi-point" vehicle inspections. Another Honda dealer that regularly performed my last two proper inspections kept tabs on suspension bearing issues (found by them) on my truck i was told needed to be changed at some point when i could afford it. But for some reason the truck is perfectly fine now. So with Serramonte's quick checks, what took over 5hrs?!! Moral of the story, make sure u have half a day for service because appointments are worthless. Positives....shuttle was convienient...

HE KEPT ME UPDATED ON ANY ISSUES THAT THE TECHNICIAN NOTICED AND PROVIDED ME THE OPTIONS TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. I FELT NO PRESSURE AT ALL. MY CAR WAS CLEANED AND READY IN THE TIME THAT WAS SPECIFIED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TEDDY FOR ALL YOUR HONDA SERVICE NEEDS.

I've been a customer for a few years now. I log in, make my appointment, see the service rep. who makes no hassle suggestions. I leave, sometimes by shuttle or by an alternate ride. Rep. calls when its done.
Paper work is done, rep. explains what work was done and what may need to be done soon. Perfect!

First time buying a car at a dealership purchase went smoothly, but took longer than I d expect waiting over an hour just to pay. On my way home noticed that one of the headlights was out so I texted the salesperson (Shane) explaining my discovery. Waited until next day and after no responses I called dealership 2x asking to speak with him. After being told he was busy I asked to. Speak with a manger after exposing the situation of the light out and how I wanted it fixed he tried to tell me that it was wear and tare, even though I had bought the car just the day before and the car had been through a 168 inspection and they signed off on the light working he still insisted it was wear and tare and nothing he could do. After I mentioned I had a picture at the dealership with the light out before taking it home. This made him quickly change his approach and said that he would talk to his boss and contact me about it the next day. I waited and after no call I contacted the salesperson again and told him what the manager said. They made me come all the way up to the dealership (50 miles) out of my way to get it fixed. First and last time buying a car from a dealership.

I drove from 3 1/2 hours away to purchase my Honda. My experience was very impersonal and process took a long time. The vehicle was on empty when we got it and we were not told the passenger door did not lock. We had to search for someone to assist us while we we there. And the communication over phone wasn't that great as well. We also thought we may have received a free gift such as a calendar or something like that but we received nothing. We weren't even offered anything to drink. We were a cash paying customer as well. I understand this dealership is very busy, but we felt like we were cattle, pushed in and out. I felt this dealership could have made this experience more warm and inviting.

To start this Honda has the worst customer service I ve ever experienced. The service manager in particular Thomas Russel and the general manager Patrick Agan. My mom bought a new 2017 Honda Fit from this dealership in Feb 2017. Have been having multiple issues with the car. The alarm system is the real kicker. Since owning this car We ve had to bring it in multiple times because the car alarm would randomly be going off in my drive way at all hours, 2am, 4am, and while at work also. They kept returning the car saying it was fixed and the same issue would happen. We had enough when the car was vandalized and broken into, windows smashed, but guess what wasn t going off. The car alarm. Over 1k if merchandise was taken. We brought the car to Honda demanding an answer to why the alarm didn t work. That finally got them to actually look at the car. To only find out the entire electrical system was faulty. It took them more than 3 consecutive weeks to fix the car. We had to consistently call and ask questions as to what was wrong and when it would be ready. Finally after 3 1/2 weeks not even the service manager could call us about the car. We specifically asked if we could speak with him when we went to pick up the car. We were told yes that he would be there. Only for him to be in a meeting for 2 days when My mom arrived to pick up the car. This entire experience with Honda has left us so upset and I am writing this review to prevent it happening to anyone else.
