Horrible experience. Had to wait 45 minutes to pick up my car. The service tech helped other people before me even though I had arrived earlier. I had to remind them I was to receive a car wash and had to wait another half hour. The car wash was so bad I had to redo it.
They offered to wash my car again as a gift for being a great customer. I told them they should wash my car as they needed to correct their mistake.
Sent the service manager a message no reply.
I guess I shouldn't expect one

They did an excellent job in finding what was wrong with my 2015 Honda Fit. It was a very, very weak battery and dirty brake fluid. I got my car the next day after I dropped it off the end of the working day. Great service and communication with Derrick. Also, my car just feels better driving in general. Thank you!

This service appointment for my 2017 Honda Pilot EX-L was handled by Service Advisor, Jeric Vergara. As always, it was done in a most professional and friendly manner. I waited comfortably in their showroom area while waiting for the completion of service. Honda of Serramonte is a dealership staffed with good personnel.

I've been looking at cars for a while now as my first new car purchase and haven't had luck anywhere the sells men are always pushy and needy they always seem to jus rub me the wrong way. But then I went to check out this place since I saw they had a 2017 civic hatchback and when I went it this guy name Matt came up to me asked me what I had in mind on a car and so on, he actually just wanted to get to know my needs nothing about price or anything then when it came down to price wise he help out a lot by asking what's my budget and at the end of the day they helped me out to drive out with not only the car I wanted but also with the price and package I wanted these guys are super helpful they have my business and loyalty 100% would I recommend someone to Matt? Yes ask for him.

Very friendly staff. Able to get the service done in my limited window of time. It would be nice if an oil change ever really was just an oil change but I guess that is asking too much. But happy that I was able to get the 30,000 mile service without having to come back another day.
We went for a simple service and while waiting for our car Ms. Ela G. Approach us was asked if we were interested on a new or used car, probly she heard us that we might consider trading my wifes car. Long story short we went thru the process and went home with a new car with the help of Ela G.
They give great service once it s initiated, but I don t understand what s the point of making an appointment if they are just going to make you wait in a queue for over 30 min just to be seen!!! This is the most annoying thing ever, first impression every time I come here, and makes it so I never want to have to come here; but my car does need service under its warranty- soooo boohoo to me!
After having two separate deals fall apart at other dealerships I connected with Nelson Tam at your dealership. He was very prompt addressing the purchase questions, logistics, and price. I went to your dealership and found the vehicle, price, and terms to be what we discussed. Approximately 1 1/2 hours later I was driving home in my new Honda Ridgeline, very satisfied. I would highly recommend Honda of Serramonte to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
Bobbie Santos was great. I left Honda happy. I failed my smog test twice. I was advised to bring my car to have it fix due to the catalyst. Bobbie explained everything i need to know and what will happen. It was a long day to fix it but it's okay. Finally i passed my smog test.
I was trying to schedule service for my car - called at 10:30am on Monday. They told me that no one available at this moment to help me and they will call me back within an hour. 90 min later I called them again no one didn't even answered and never called back that day or next morning. I don't feel like valued customer. I am never coming back.
I won t mention any names. All what I can say is that their customer service was terrible! I came to this dealership twice the same day because I was going to buy a car, the second time I came I asked the salesman can I check out the CRV one more time, he said with a discontented tone of voice I already showed it to you this morning , I replied is that bad? , he didn t say anything. When I asked can I turn on the car because I want to check out the backup camera (I have never driven a Honda before) he said with the same discontented tone I have to bring the keys from the building , I said it s fine he walked away from us and the gentleman never came back. I went to Victoria Honda and I had a way better customer service experience. I purchased my car that same day with another dealer thanks to their customer service experience and their prices.
Do not do business with Honda Serramonte unless they change their customer service, specially if you are looking for your first car, you will want the best price and customer service out there if you are getting your first car, at the end of the day you are the one who is holding the cash not them. Do not feel intimidated by these vampires.
Honda of Serramonte has shared gracefully the pain of owning a 2015 Honda Accord. The car stalls out. We have brought it in three times on this matter. The second time they thought that they'd found the source of the problem. The third time, they did not, BUT they are very open and communicative about their struggles. We'd like to get a better car.
On March 9, 2018: Since the last entry the stalling problem has been solved. I have had more than a year without a stall.
Mike Santos in the Service Department is one of the greats. He is patient, knowledgeable and thorough. The whole Service Department has just been great ever since we purchased the car.

Darrel went above and beyond my expectations. He was courteous, efficient and kept in communication with me. I dropped off my car at the repair shop in the morning for a drop off appointment to have an engine light looked at. A couple of hours later he called me with the prognosis on the car and then told me he would check to see if it was still under warranty, then called me back and said it was indeed under warranty and that the part would be on order. I appreciated his knowledge and his excellent customer service skills. I would highly recommend going to service your Honda at this dealership and if you can, ask for Darrel!
I never write reviews but I feel other potential customers need to know what happened to me.
I took in my brand new 4 month old car to have the wiper fluid refilled. When they put it in my car they found that it was leaking out. So the next day I brought my car back in so they could do diagnostics. They told me that in order to use the warranty they had to just go through the protocols of checking it first. I have been very careful with my new car and they told me it was my fault. I had to pay over $200 to fix it.
I took the piece to another mechanic that I trusted and everyone there agreed that I was ripped off. That there was clearly a manufacturing issue and in no way I could have damaged it myself. They even popped the hood and the piece they claimed I damaged was completely protected within the car. There was no access points for it to get damaged.
Either I was ripped off on purpose or they are very incompetent. Either way I recommend going to another dealership. Don't let this happen to you.
Sales Rep Tony Chen is very accommodating. He was willing to give me a test drive just before the dealership closes. He was courteous and able to answer every question I have. Great customer service.

Very detail when explain all the features that the car I bought have and how i can choose the best finance Honda offers. He takes care of me from the start to finish in a very professional way. Great experience with Marcin. I was frequently in and out of town, so trying to make an appointment to meet with him was tough on my end, but he was very patient and did everything he could to help me out. I was really attached to a Honda Fit that unfortunately sold during one of my periods of time out of state, but he quickly found another one for me and was able to have it ready and moved from Concord to Colma in a day! Everything was fast and very painless. I highly recommend working with Marcin! I believe the employee who did my financing was named Ken, but I may be wrong. Either way, he was EXTREMELY efficient, and we were in and out in less than an hour.
Friendly and efficient service. Got a call back from the service agent on what the diagnosis was on my car while in the courtesy shuttle headed home from dropping off my car. Then took an additional couple hours to get the work done on my car and received a call right after the work was done. Really appreciate the great customer service. I hope that they continue with what they are doing and keep improving on any shortfalls. Consistency on this type of customer service is important and will keep me coming back here to bring my car for any service.

Alex Cheung gave me a good deal on the 2016 Accord. He was very courteous and I was happy with the customer service. I am yet to go to them for my car servicing or oil change, so I can't comment on their service in regards to that. However, a good experience while buying the car from Alex.
Brought CRV for a B1 Maintenance and was serviced in a timely manner on a busy Friday. I utilized their shuttle to and from home after dropping off and picking up. I also utilized on-line payment after receiving text that job was completed.

IF YOU MUST BUY FROM THEM DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY THEY DO NOT HONOR IT. They do not stand behind the new cars that they sell beware.
Horrible customer service. They refuse to honor their warranties. I have a brand new car I purchased with warranty where I come to them for something wrong, they try to charge me 180 for diagnostics and tried to say the system issues I was having could be due to a mouse. A MOUSE. Are you kidding me? What kind of bs is this. I never in my life have had someone want me to pay 180 for diagnostics on a brand new car with valid warranty because most dealerships have the integrity to stand behind what they sell. Not this one - obviously their cars have issues that's why they behave like this.
Additionally, when my car was BRAND new (as in one day old) the tire had pressure issues and they tried to charge me 40 to change it. Any other dealer would have out of courtesy fixed the tire of a one day brand new car for free. I paid, and the tire still had pressure issues which again they are charging me to replace.
I have been a lifetime honda owner and had been to dozens of dealerships and never in my life have I experienced customer service as horrible as this one. This service is so bad it seriously is making me contemplating selling my car and going with another brand just so I don't have to deal with them anymore. And again - i've been a loyal honda customer for the past 20 years and been to dozens of dealership - this is by far the worst out of not just honda but non honda dealership customer service.
If you have bad credit don't go to a dealership. And especially don't have them run your credit report. Go to a rental place ...they are willing to work with you
I purchased a Honda Civic from here in May. The purchase process itself wasn't terrible, but I've recently had a pretty awful experience trying to get a hold of... well... anyone.
I still haven't received my license plates and my bank has contacted me saying they haven't received some information from Honda as well. It's been three months now, and I've been calling for about two weeks asking to speak with someone. They always transfer me to a voicemail, and even though I've left detailed messages with my phone number, no one calls me back.
I just called again and spoke with the receptionist who went to find a finance manager and came back a few minutes later having not found anyone to help me. She offered to take my information (which she's already done the other times I've called) and they would get back to me (so they say).
Oh, and then she transferred me to another voicemail.
Anyway, their customer service is basically terrible...
We did not receive the car with a full tank of gas, as promised. When we got home, we realized we were not given the owners manual or a spare key. After calling the next day I was told that when I return for Permaplate Honda would fill up the gas but I would have to pay over $600 for a spare key. My husband called the GM twice and NO response, the used car sales manager did call me after I emailed saying they forget that people don't buy cars that often and do not understand the car business. Whether or not I buy a car every year or every 10 years, it should come with a spare key. And, I should not be charged for labor to program it. I would have to return for the Permaplate, and when I was told what day and time to come back (and someone would call to confirm that appointment, which no one did till I called 5 days later) My exact question was, "when I return for my appointment, how long will it take?" I was told it would take 30 mins, 45 max. The day I came back, I was told it would take 3 to 4 hours... when I confronted the Finance guy who told both me and my husband about his time quote, he said he didn't say that. Two people heard him quote 30 mins. He said that he meant only the alarm, well when he made the appointment it was for both the alarm and permaplate, why only quote one time????? I had to reschedule the appointment and was then told the replacement key would not be in and therefore have reschedule again! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Once you sign for the car, they do not care about you or your experience. We have called the GM TWICE and no return phone call.
Update: my husband spoke with Dave, one of the Sales managers and Dave agreed that we did not receive the service HoS should have provided and took care of the situation. I was able to keep my second appointment and Dave and his assistant, Flo, were very professional and accommodating, they really did take care of me and restored my opinion of this dealership!

The salesperson was very aggressive and rude...Well. ...where do i start....Receptionist transferred phone to Salesperson who was NOT at the dealership....why? .... waited 45 mins for call back...... Alex, the salesperson, DEMANDED 10% down....I informed him i had a 0 down preapproval for my bank.... then blurted "I AM WASTING HIS TIME" if i don't have 10% down....then he wants to know what rate my bank is giving me, i told him i'm not telling him that because i want to see what kind of financing you get me...i will take the better financing....He tells me i need to come down today because he won't be in the next day, although i told him earlier i live in Stockton and that time of the day, it was not worth driving....
Basically Alex think customer's waste his time and are an inconvenience.... My first time going to buy a car at Honda of Serramonte and i received such an awkward and unpleasant experience..smh....
Service was excellent , my service consultant was Mr. Oliver Velasquez and he took good care of me and my car. He was prompt and very helpful explaining me the details of the car service. I always have my car serviced here but next time will look for Mr. Velasquez. He's a great asset to the company, 5 star excellence!

Darrell Wilson the Service Manager at Honda of Serramonte is the only reason why I go here to get my car serviced! He truly knows the meaning of excellent customer service. He tells you exactly what you need and listens to your concerns. He s personality is exceptional!
When I first bought my car, Ricardo was my service rep. He has long since departed, and he handed me over to Xavier. Xavier is a serious champ! He always takes care of my car. He's honest with me, and he helps me plan financially for the upcoming service maintenance: brakes, tires, major work, etc. Xavier always takes my calls, and walks me through whatever problem I'm having: flat tire, immediate oil-change appointment with a lack of time flexibility, or if there is a warranty replacement on my car needing to be done. What's even better is that I don't even have to ask if they'll wash my car: Xavier always surprises me with a "it's already run through the wash, parked in front, and here's where we are" with a full diagnostic and a smile! He always asks for time, and I prop up with my laptop and coffee. I anticipate always several hours, and him and his crew are rocket fast and get me out in half the time I budget for. I can't recommend his service enough or thank him for the positive experience!
Really disgusting service attitude, eyeballs are hanging on your forehead, what do you think you are when selling a car, disgusting, what kind of car do you sell with this kind of sales service, go back to be the emperor, it's awesome! There has horrible service, if you want bad service and bad moon, they will give you.
